Anticorrosive properties of silicotungstic acid and phosphotungstic heteropolyacid in the paint films
Nechvílová, K.; Kalendová, A.; Stejskal, Jaroslav
2016 - English
The aim of this work was to provide an initial characterisation of heteropolyacids and examine their behaviour and properties as pigments in paints using different concentrations of the pigment and filler. Solvent-based epoxy-ester resin served as the binder. The paints were applied to steel and glass panels for mechanical and corrosion resistance testing. The organic coatings were exposed to a corrosive atmosphere with NaCl. This test was completed with electrochemical measurement. The parameters examined included the paint film's mechanical and anticorrosion efficiency. The environments in which the new coatings are most efficient were also sought. Keywords: heteropolyacids; epoxy-ester resin; organic coatings Fulltext is available at external website.

Double layer humidity sensor based on phthalocyanine derivatives
Rakušan, J.; Karásková, M.; Hamáček, A.; Řeboun, J.; Kubáč, L.; Černý, J.; Rais, David; Nešpůrek, Stanislav
2011 - English
New type of humidity sensors based on double layer structure consisting of hydrophilic and hydrophobic phthalocyanine derivatives is presented. The sensor shows high sensitivity in the range from 20 to 90 % relative humidity (RH), good long-time stability and fast response. The impedance change vs. RH is quasi-linear in semilogarithmic plot and fully reversible. Keywords: humidity sensor; phthalocyanines; double layer structure Fulltext is available at external website.

2010 - English
New type of humidity sensor based on TiO2 nanoparticles and sodium salt of sulfonated AlOH phthalocyanine is presented. The sensor shows high sensitivity due to the high surface area of TiO2 nanoparticles, good long-time stability and sensitivity in the range from 20 to 80 % RH. The response is linear in semilogarithmic plot – logarithm of impedance vs. RH and fully reversible. Keywords: humidity sensor; TiO2; phthalocyanines Fulltext is available at external website.
