The dissertation deals with the problems of identification and pneumatic systems control. The theoretic part at first briefly presents servomechanisms and then in more ditail talks about the identification of dynamic systems. Attention is primarily payed to recursive identification methods because they constitute adaptive controllers based on the knowledge of mathematical model of the controlled system.

The dissertation analyses plant and animal fibers effect on the mechanical properties of their composites with synthetic thermoplastic matrix. The aim is to nature composites production research and execution of the complex of measurements of mechanical properties and volume melt flow rate in wide spectrum of composites with using one type of thermoplastic matrix and different plant and animal fibers and based these results to make an evaluation and selection composites formulas which are usable for injection molded design parts.

Vliv aktivity kyslíku na výrobu odlitků z litiny s kuličkovým grafitem

The thesis deals with oxygen activity in molten iron. Current knowledge about the form of oxygen iron and its effect is summarized in the first part. The shape of graphite in the iron does not depend on the efficiency of spheroidizing treatment only, but also on the rate of solidification of the casting. Práce se zabývá sledováním aktivity kyslíku v roztavených litinách. V úvodní části jsou shrnuty poznatky o formě a působení kyslíku v litině. Za velmi důležitou je považována funkce vázaného kyslíku jako činidla pro tvorbu grafitizačních zárodků. Největší pozornost je věnována souvislosti mezi rozpuštěným kyslíkem v tavenině, modifikaci litiny a tvaru grafitu. Předpokladem je použití měření aktivity kyslíku jako nástroj pro predikaci tvaru grafitu modifikované litiny.

The requirement to reduce vibrations is one of the most important tasks in the development of new machines. Construction of more powerful machines usualy has problems with increasing vibrations. The dissertation deals with the issue of balancing methods and their influence on non-uniform motion and other parameters of machines. Požadavek na snižování vibrací patří mezi nejdůležitější úkoly při vývoji nových strojů. Konstrukce výkonnějších strojů s sebou přitom nese problém zvyšování vibrací. Práce se zabývá problematikou vyvažování mechanismů, jeho vlivu na různé parametry mechanismů a způsobem výpočtu optimálního vyvážení.

This dissertation deals with a cylinder unit deformation of a single cylinder race engine and is focused for a cylinder bore distortion. The work explores influences of different load on a shape and value of cylinder bore distortions. These distortions are load on a shape and value of cylinder bore distorions. These distortions are determined by thermal and structural computational models. The cylculations take into consideration assembling load, engine thermal fields and variable load during a cycle. Used computation predicts whether, why and in which crankshaft position the contact between the piston rings and the cylinder could be lost. Práce se zabývá deformacemi válcové jednotky závodního jednoválcového motoru, kde se soustředí na deformace vývrtu válce. Práce zkoumá vlivy jednotlivých zatížení na tvar a velikost deformací. Deformace jsou stanoveny na základě výpočtů provedených na teplotních a strukturálních modelech, přičemž berou v úvahu zatížení vzniklá montáží motoru, působením teplotního pole a měnícího se zatížení během pracovního cyklu motoru. Tyto modely byly verifikovány pomocí několika různých měřících metod. Práce se také predikuje zda, z jakého důvodu a v jaké poloze klikového hřídele dojde ke ztrátě kontaktu pístního kroužku s vývrtem válce.

Optimalizace systému rozváděcí tyče rotorových dopřádacích strojů

This thesis focuses on the system of the traversing rod on rotor spinning machines, where the reciprocating motion with variable dead-end position is required. The results confirmed significant contribution of proposed device to reduce the load of traversing rod and traversing motion deviation. From a technological point of view, this solution provides output bobbins of higher quality and winding evenness. Práce je zaměřena na systém rozváděcí tyče rotorových dopřádacích strojů. Cílem práce je uplatnění získaných poznatků z dynamického chování systému rozváděcí tyče při jeho optimalizaci za účelem snížení dynamického zatížení a zvýšení přesnosti rozvádění. Výsledky výzkumu potvrdily významný přínos navrženého řešení pro snížení namáhání rozváděcí tyče a přesnosti rozvádění, což z technologického hlediska představuje zvýšení kvality a stejnoměrnosti návinů výstupních cívek rotorového dopřádacího stroje.

Vývoj českého finančního trhu a jeho segmentů z hlediska další integrace

Disertační práce se věnuje problematice integrace finančních trhů, přičemž pozornost je věnována jak integraci českého finančního trhu do trhu Evropské unie (EU), tedy vytváření jednotného evropského finančního trhu, tak i integračním tendencím mezi jednotlivými sektory finančního trhu, zejména mezi sektorem bankovnictví a pojišťovnictví.?Úvodní část práce pojednává o evropské ekonomické integraci a vytváření jednotného evropského finančního trhu. Stěžejní část práce se zabývá analýzou procesu integrace z pohledu harmonizace právního rámce českého finančního trhu s legislativou EU. V práci je analyzována problematika finančních konglomerátů působících na evropském finančním trhu a jejich spolupráce formou uplatňování bankopojišťovacích strategií. V neposlední řadě je věnována pozornost problematice kapitálové přiměřenosti a solventnosti na finančním trhu ČR v souvislosti s nástupem nových regulačních rámců Basel III a Solvency II. Závěrečná kapitola je zaměřena na jedno ze současných dominantních témat, tedy risk management institucí finančního trhu v rámci mezisektoriální integrace. Součástí je analýza rizik integrovaného finančního trhu a podrobné představení nejvyužívanější metody risk managementu, tedy stresového testování, s důrazem na jeho provádění v sektoru pojišťovnictví. V této kapitole je rovněž prezentována možná budoucí forma mezisektoriální spolupráce v oblasti risk managementu zaměřeném na odhalování pojistných a úvěrových podvodů, kterými je ohrožována finanční stabilita pojišťoven a bank. Dissertation is dedicated to the integration of financial markets. Attention is given to the integration of the Czech financial market into the market of the European Union (EU), thus creating a single European financial market, and to integration tendencies among different sectors of the financial market, especially between the banking sector and insurance sector.?The introductory part of dissertation deals with European economic integration and the creation of a single European financial market. The main part is concerned with an analysis of the integration process from the perspective of harmonization of the legal framework of the Czech financial market with EU legislation. The issue of financial conglomerates operating in the European financial market and their cooperation through the implementation of bancassurance strategy is analyzed. Finally, the attention is paid to the issue of capital adequacy and solvency in the financial market of the Czech Republic in connection with the emergence of new regulatory frameworks, Basel III and Solvency II. The final chapter focuses on one of the current dominant themes, namely risk management of financial institutions within the cross-sector integration. Risk analysis of integrated financial market and a detailed presentation of the most frequently used method of risk management, i.e. stress testing with emphasis on its implementation in the insurance sector are included in this chapter. The chapter also presents a possible future form of cross-sector cooperation in the area of risk management aimed at the detection of insurance frauds and credit frauds, by which the financial stability of insurance companies and banks is threatened.

In this work, PPy coated on E-glass fabric of different densities and EMSE for transmission and reflection was analysed. To the best of my knowledge this is a novel work in its nature for the application of the product as an industrial textile for the shielding of rooms, chambers and electronic devices etc. By taking two fabric densities of glass fabric into account, it was found that EMSE follows power function of surface resistivity of PPy coated highly dense glass fabric (900 g.m-2) and linear function of surface resistivity in case of comparatively low density fabric (410 g.m-2). V této práci byly analyzovýny účinnost stínění (EMSE) pro přenos a odraz za použití E-skelných tkanin různé hustoty potažených polypyrrolem. Dle názoru autora, toto je ve své podstatě nový výzkum pro použití tohoto produktu jako průmyslové textilie pro stínění místností, komor, elektronických zařízení atd. Bylo zjištěno, pokud uvažujeme dvě skelné tkaniny s různou hustotou, že EMSE skelné tkaniny s vysokou hustotou (900g.m-2) potažené polypyrrolem sleduje geometrickou funkci povrchového odporu a že EMSE skelné tkaniny s nízkou hustotou (410g.m-2) potažené polypyrrolem sleduje lineární funkci povrchového odporu.

Využití Value at Risk (VaR) modelů při řízení tržních rizik

Doctoral thesis deals with the use of Value at Risk (VaR) in the management of accepted market risk in business in the financial markets. Specifically, it focuses on the method of application of this method to determine the amount of capital requirements for market risk in banks. The VaR method has certain assumptions built into them, which may lead to an underestimation accepted market risk in times of extraordinary turmoil in financial markets. Basel Committee on Banking Supervision proposed changes to the calculation of capital requirements using the VaR method, which should eliminate this underestimation. Doctoral thesis demonstrates that it is not, because the newly proposed approach assumptions that make VaR method is not able to fully capture the market risk-taking does not eliminate. The proposed changes will particularly need to increase capital without but there was a sufficient relationship between that need and really accepted market risk. Doctoral thesis aims to find an alternative approach that would more accurately estimate the size of underlying market risk and thus the amount of capital required to cover potential losses in times of extraordinary turmoil in financial markets. Práce se zabývá problematikou využití metody Value at Risk (VaR) při řízení podstupovaného tržního rizika při podnikání na finančních trzích. Konkrétně při řízení podstupovaného tržního rizika při podnikání na finančích trzích. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na způsob aplikace této metody na stanovování výše kapitálových požadavků k tržnímu riziku u bank. Metoda VaR má v sobě zabudovány určité předpoklady, které mohou vést k podhodnocení postupovaného tržního rizika v době mimořádných turbulencí na finančních trzích. Basilejský výbor pro bankovní dohled navrhuje změny ve výpočtu kapitálových požadavků pomocí VaR metody, které by měly toto podhodnocení odstranit. Práce dokazuje, že tomu tak není, neboť nově navrhovaný přístup předpoklady, díky kterým metoda VaR není schona plně podchytit podstupované tržní riziko, neodstraňuje. Navržené změny povedou zejména k mavyšování potřeby kapitálu, aniž by ale existovala dostatečná závislost mezi touto potřebou a reálně podstupovaným tržním rizikem. Práce si klade za cíl najít alternativní přístup, který by odhadl přesněji velikost podstupovaného tržního rizika a tím i velikost kapitálu potřebnou k pokrytí případných ztrát v době mimořádných turbulencí na finančních trzích.

This dissertation thesis (Thesis) deals with the study of possibilities to actively control the static and dynamic mechanical response of planar structures by means of attached piezoelectric actuators. The considered planar structures have a form of flat or curved piezoelectric composite shells. It will be shown that such piezoelectric composite shells can provide efficient and rather simple mechatronic systems that can be profitably used in applications to acoustics and adaptive optics.
