In The gendered Human Being. Gender Difference from the Perspective of Helmuth Plessner's Philosophical Anthropology, gender difference in the two-gender model is examined from the perspective of philosophical anthropology. For this purpose, three social constructivist theories of gender difference are brought into conversation with each other under the prism of lived body-body-person. In this way, the work aims to catch a glimpse of the gendered human being in all the spheres that open up their world. Geschlechterdifferenz aus der Perspektive der Philosophischen Anthropologie Helmuth Plessners wird die Geschlechterdifferenz im Zweigeschlechtermodell aus der Perspektive der Philosophischen Anthropologie untersucht. Hierzu werden drei sozialkonstruktivistische Geschlechterdifferenztheorien unter dem Prisma Leib-Körper-Person miteinander ins Gespräch gebracht. Die Arbeit nimmt sich vor, auf diese Weise einen Blick auf den vergeschlechtlichten Menschen erhaschen zu können; in allen seine Welt aufschließenden Sphären. Presented Master's thesis deals with euthanasia in the novel "Ikarien" by German author Uwe Timm. The thesis highlights development of its main character Alfred Ploetz, an originator of so-called racial hygiene (German variation of eugenics). Ploetz supported the idea of performing euthanasia on severely disabled people. This was applied at massive scale in Nazi Germany from 1939 to 1945. One of the goals of this thesis is to analyze the connection between utopian notions about the creation of a new man, eugenics and euthanasia performed by Nazis, which is reflected in the life of Alfred Ploetz. Furthermore, the thesis aims to give analysis of literary means used for capturing subject matter and compare factual and fictional parts of this historical novel. KEYWORDS Uwe Timm, euthanasia, racial hygiene, eugenics, utopia, science, Alfred Ploetz Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou eutanazie v románu "Ikarien" německého spisovatele Uwe Timma se zvláštním zřetelem na vývoj hlavní postavy Alfreda Ploetze, zakladatele takzvané rasové hygieny (německé obdoby eugeniky), který podporoval zavedení eutanazie pro těžce postižené osoby, jež byla poté aplikována na širším okruhu lidí v masovém měřítku v letech 1939-1945 v nacistickém Německu. Jedním z cílů této práce je analýza souvislostí mezi utopickými představami o vytvoření nového člověka, eugenikou a nacisty praktikovanou eutanazií, které se odrážejí i v životě Alfreda Ploetze. Důraz je kladen také na rozbor literárních prostředků použitých pro zachycení daného tématu a na posouzení poměru mezi faktickou a fiktivní částí tohoto historického románu. Tématem této diplomové práce je literatura NDR od 50. do 70. let, jejíž charakter je utvářen pozůstatky holocaustu a vládou socialismu. Po skončení druhé světové války se objevuje značné množství děl s židovskou tematikou a zároveň díla zabývající se každodenními problémy v socialistickém prostředí. Východoněmecký spisovatel židovského původu Jurek Becker je příkladem autora, který má zkušenosti s pronásledováním Židů i socialistickým režimem, a proto je řadí mezi hlavní témata své literární tvorby. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak byla tehdejší literatura těmito skutečnostmi ovlivněna, a to nejen pomocí zkoumaní politického a kulturního kontextu, ale především prostřednictvím zmíněného autora a jeho čtyř románů. The topic of this diploma thesis is the literature of the GDR from the 50s to the 70s, whose character is formed by the remnants of the Holocaust and the dominance of socialism. After the Second World War, a considerable amount of works with a Jewish theme as well as works dealing with everyday problems in the socialist milieu appears. The East German writer of Jewish origin Jurek Becker is an example of the author who has experience with both the persecution of Jews and the socialist regime, and therefore incorporates them into the main themes of his literary works. The aim of the thesis is to find out how was contemporary literature influenced by these facts, not only by examining the political and cultural context, but especially through the mentioned author and his four novels.

Die Arbeit konzentriert sich auf die Beschreibung möglicher Verwendungen von Bildergeschichten im gegenwärtigen Deutschunterricht. Im theoretischen Teil werden theoretische Erkenntnisse zu diesem Thema beschrieben. Im praktischen Teil wird ein Projekt mit Fokus auf Bildergeschichte erstellt. Ein Abschnitt des praktischen Teils befasst sich mit Möglichkeiten der Arbeit mit modernen Technologien und einem aktuellen Internet-Trend. This thesis focuses on the description of the possibilities of using pictorial stories in German language lessons. The first part describes the theoretical pieces of knowledge on the topic. In the second part, a project is prepared, which is focused on the use of work with pictorial stories. Part of the practical part is focused on the possibilities of using modern technologies and the current Internet trend in lessons.

Die Konstruktion von Identität bei einer ethnischen Minderheit am Beispiel des Fremdsprachenunterrichts in Südböhmen

Tato magisterská práce se zabývá tématem konstrukce identity ve vztahu k osvojování jazyka a rolí identity ve výuce cizích jazyků. V první, teoretické části jsou popsány vztahy mezi jazykem a identitou z několika perspektiv. Nejprve jsou identita a její různé poddruhy definovány z psychologického hlediska. Poté se pozornost přesouvá na spojitost mezi osvojováním jazyků a konstrukcí identity ve vztahu ke kultuře, světonázorům atd. Nakonec je zkoumána role identity a její konstrukce ve výuce cizích jazyků. V druhé, praktické části jsou tyto teoretické poznatky převedeny do praxe na příkladu výuky cizího jazyka v regionu Českých Budějovic v jižních Čechách. Za pomoci dvou formulářů je vytvořeno srovnání mezi skupinou dětí, které se učí německý a skupinou dětí, které se učí anglický jazyk. Toto srovnání má přinést odpovědi na otázky týkající se role identity ve výuce jizích jazyků. Zmíněné srovnání nemá za cíl pouze potvrdit, či vyvrátit rozdíly v přístupu žáků obou skupin, ale snaží se najít i důvody, faktory a vysvětlení, které by pomohly objasnit rozdílné přístupy žáků obou skupin. Tato zjištění mají dále tvořit základ pro doporučení, která by umožnila optimalizaci výuky cizích jazyků skrz využití silnější identifikace žáků s cílovým jazykem. This master thesis concerns itself with the topic of creation of identity in relation to language acquisition and its role in the teaching of foreign languages. In the first, theoretical part of this thesis, the connection between language and identity is explored from multiple perspectives. First, identity and its numerous subtypes are described from a psychological point of view. Later, the focus shifts to the relationship between the acquisition of language and the construction of identity. Finally, the role of identity trough language acquisition is explored as a part of the teaching of foreign languages. In the second, practical part of this thesis, the theoretical knowledge is put into practice on the example of foreign language teaching in schools in the region of Budweis/České Budějovice, in south Bohemia. Using two questionnaires a comparison is created between a group of English and a group of German learners. This comparison aims to find answers concerning the role of identity in foreign language teaching classes. The goal of this comparison is not only to (dis)prove the differences in the attitudes of the two learner groups towards their target language, but it also tries to find reasons, factors, and explanations, that would help to clarify these differences. These clarifications are then to be used as the basis for recommendations, which would help to optimise the learning of foreign languages through a stronger identification of the learners with their target languages.

Výuka cizích jazyků prochází v současné době velkými změnami. Zaměření na rozvoj interkulturní komunikační kompetence coby hlavního cíle cizojazyčné výuky je rozšiřováno o nové koncepty výuky zaměřené na žáka a na rozvoj jeho individuální mnohojazyčnosti. Komunikační pragmaticky zaměřená metoda je pomalu střídána tzv. postkomunikačním obdobím, v němž dochází k pozměněné formulaci cílů výuky cizích jazyků. V českém kontextu není tato změna konceptu zatím dostatečně reflektována. Cílem této práce je definovat specifika výuky cizích jazyků v postkomunikačním období a zároveň provést analýzu využití této metody v tradiční a alternativní škole, porovnat zjištěné výsledky a vyvodit z nich závěry pro výukovou praxi. Foreign language teaching is currently undergoing major changes. The focus on the development of intercultural communication competence as the main objective of foreign language teaching is extended by new concepts of teaching focused at the pupil and the development of his individual multilingualism. The pragmatically focused communication method is slowly alternating with the so-called post-method era, in which there is an altered formulation of the goals of foreign language teaching. In the Czech context, this change in concept has not been sufficiently reflected yet. The aim of this work is to define the specifics of foreign language teaching in the post-method era and also to analyze the use of this method in traditional and alternative schools, comparing the findings and draw conclusions for teaching practice.

This thesis examines the translation of stylization of orality in the context of linguistics, the development of language and literature as well as translation theory. Three contemporary Czech novels and their translations are analyzed in regard to their oral features. The statistical analysis applies selected elements, that are characterized in specialized literature as typical for orality. It explores their incidence using a corpus analysis method. As concerns the source texts, the results show differences regarding the levels of language and groups of lexemes, which indicates an individual stylization. This is, to a lesser extent, true of the target texts as well, notwithstanding the fact that they show a greater uniformity overall. A contrastive comparison leads to the conclusion, that oral features with more commonality in Czech tend to be neutralized to a greater extent. A functional analysis of orality is also carried out. Its aim is to characterize the impression (Wirkung) of orality in a given passage and distinguish between the so called adapted and mimetic kinds of orality. The analysis follows its own model and points to, amongst other things, a special role of Common Czech (obecná čeština) and of particles as well as adverbs devoid of meaning in German. It becomes clear, that the... Tato práce se zabývá překladem stylizace mluvenosti v kontextu lingvistiky, vývoje jazyka a literatury a teorie překladu. Analyzujeme rysy mluvenosti ve třech současných českých románech a jejich překladech. Kvantitativní analýza vychází z vybraných prvků, které jsou v odborné literatuře charakterizovány jako typické pro mluvenost. Jejich výskyt pak zkoumáme pomocí korpusové analýzy. Analýza původních děl prokázala, že mezi romány existují v rovinách jazyka i v rámci konkrétních slovních druhů rozdíly, což je znakem individuální stylizace. Tento individuální postup lze v omezené míře pozorovat i v překladech, třebaže stylizace překladů je vcelku spíše jednotná. Díky kontrastivnímu pohledu můžeme konstatovat, že míra nivelizace je obzvlášť velká, pokud jde o rysy, které jsou v češtině rozšířené. Následuje kvalitativní analýza stylizované mluvenosti, jejímž cílem je v daném úryvku popsat působení mluvenosti a také umožnit rozlišování mezi tzv. adaptovaným a mimetickým druhem mluvenosti. Arbeit mit unmotivierten Schülern im Deutschunterricht

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá motivací, resp. demotivací ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka a nabízí praktické přístupy k práci s nemotivovanými žáky v hodinách němčiny. Teoretická východiska této práce tvoří základní koncepty neokomunikativní výuky cizích jazyků. Na vysvětlení základních pojmů pro výuku cizích jazyků ve 21. století navazují kapitoly věnované motivaci a demotivaci. Tato část práce pojednává také o typech motivace, motivech a motivaci k učení (se cizím jazykům). V souvislosti s těmito tématy jsou představeny pojmy nemotivovaní žáci a aktivizační metody. Aktivizační metody jsou prezentovány jako příležitosti k motivování nemotivovaných žáků v hodinách německého jazyka. V empirické části práce jsou vybrané aktivizační metody testovány ve výuce němčiny. Výzkum se vztahuje k motivaci a demotivaci žáků v hodinách německého jazyka na základní škole. Zkoumaní žáci jsou účastni jak hodin němčiny obsahujících aktivizačních metody, tak hodin bez aktivizačních metod. Aktivita žáků je zkoumána po dobu několika týdnů. Shromážděná data poskytují poznatky o příslušných aktivizačních metodách a jejich vlivu na aktivitu žáků. Lze očekávat, že metody, u nichž se prokáže vysoký aktivizační účinek, se výhledově stanou součástí výuky. This thesis deals with motivation and demotivation in lessons of German as foreign language (GFL), and offers practical approaches for dealing with unmotivated GFL learners. The theoretical basis of this work is formed by the central approaches of neo-communicative foreign language teaching. The explanation of the basic terms for foreign language teaching in the 21st century is followed by separate chapters dedicated to motivation and demotivation respectively. This part also discusses types of motivation, motives and (language) learning motivation. In relation to that, unmotivated learners and activation methods are addressed in the further course of the work. Activation methods are presented as motivational opportunities for unmotivated GFL learners. In the empirical part of the thesis, selected activation methods are tested in GFL lessons. The research is carried out on the (de)motivation of GFL learners at an upper primary school. The research participants take part in both German lessons including activation methods and in lessons not including any. Their active participation in the class is researched over a period of several weeks. Based on the data collected, valuable insights into the respective activation methods and their effect on student activity are provided. Methods proven to have a high activation effect are expected to eventually find their way into teaching practice.

Německojazyčná protokolová literatura o mužích

This diploma thesis aims to study the protocol literature which originated mainly in the former German Democratic Republic. The protocol literature of the Federal Republic of Germany is mentioned only briefly. In connection with the protocol literature, it is vital to firstly deal with the ambiguity and nonuniformity of the term Protokoll-Literatur. It is also necessary to clarify the term Frauenliteratur and Männerliteratur. The main objective of the theoretical part is to set the protocol literature into its historical and cultural context, to characterise protocol literature - its features, mainly the authenticity and subjectivity of this type of literature. The important task of this thesis is to manage the classification of the protocol literature into a literary genre and answer the question whether the protocol literature can be regarded as an independent literary genre. Furthermore, the topics occurring in the protocol literature are presented. Each topic is accompanied with a list of literary works, which are briefly introduced. The second part of the thesis offers an interpretation of three selected works of the so called Männerliteratur. The inner and outer composition of each work is further analysed, attention is paid to the narrative perspective, to the titles of the works, as well as... Tato diplomová práce se zabývá protokolární literaturou, která vznikala především v bývalé Německé demokratické republice Německo. Protokolární literatura Spolkové republiky Německo je zmíněna pouze okrajově. V souvislosti s protokolární literaturou je nutné se nejdříve vypořádat s nejasnostmi a nejednotnostmi v používání termínu Protokoll-Literatur a objasnit termíny Frauenliteratur a Männerliteratur. Hlavním cílem teoretické části práce je zasadit protokolární literaturu do historického a kulturního kontextu, charakterizovat protokolární literaturu - její znaky, a to především autentičnost a subjektivnost tohoto druhu literatury. Důležitým úkolem práce je rovněž objasnit žánrové zařazení protokolární literatury a podat odpověď na otázku, zda může být protokolární literatura považována za samostatný literární žánr. Dále jsou představena hlavní témata, kterými se protokolární literatura zabývá. U každého tématu je podán přehled literárních titulů, které jsou krátce představeny.
