Verifikácia vplyvu povlakov fréz na ich životnosť

For application of new cutting tools into the praxis or for determination of their further
development it is necessary to know their cutting properties. They are also important from the view of
their economical handling. Beside that these properties serve as good and complex indicator in system
of quality and reliability of cutting tools. Paper describes problems of tool wear and verification of tool
lifespan. It is focused to testing of HSS grooving mills. At the beginning it brings theoretical knowledge
from the field of HSS and describes advantages and disadvantages of long-term experiment. In practical
part it describes the test that was used for HSS grooving cutters. Tests were realized as long-term
experiments which are more accurate but more time demanding with higher consumption of material.
During measuring of tool wear the cutting needs to be interrupted so we could cut in discrete intervals.
Three types of HSS grooving mills were used with two jags and diameter of 6 mm. One type was
coatless and two other types with coating AlTiN and AlTiSiN. As machined material there was steel STN
17 241, EN X5CRNi 18-10, that is austenitic chromium-nickel steel with very good corrosion resistance,
cold plasticity and weldability. Experiment was realized on CNC machining center HAAS VF- 1B, that is
located in laboratory of Cracow Polytechnics. Published graphs show that after use of coatless HSS
steels labeled as „A“ the lowest lifespan was reached, as the mills lasted in action for shortest time. After
use of mills with coating AlTiN S labeled as „B“ the influence of coating was observed in achieving of
double lifespan. Longest action and thus best lifespan, what can be seen on graph C, was reached after
use of HSS mills with coating AlTiSiN labeled as „C“, with threefold time period in comparison to
coatless „A“ mills. Príspevok sa zaoberá overovaním životnosti frézovacích nástrojov. V experimente boli použité tri
druhy HSS drážkovacích fréz s dvoma zubmi, s priemerom 6 mm. Jeden druh bol bez povlaku a
ďalšie dva druhy boli povlakované špeciálnymi povlakmi. Experiment bol vykonávaný formou
dlhodobých skúšok trvanlivosti, ktoré boli štatisticky spracované a následne vyhodnotené.

Pre-production activities, which use the descriptive method, are very important with respect to their
outstanding possibilities of influencing the entire production costs of a planned product.
Its usage is adequate mainly due to the economic pressure of competition forcing the producers to
often comply with the contradictory demands, e.g. to bring high-quality products matching the
customer demand in a small number with short marketing time without increasing the price.
The article deals with possibilities of technological communication among companies in production
chain regarding to efficiency of multilateral manufacturing information providing. There is pointing out
advantages of sharing of some production data and processing of them all in information system.
Method of multi-variant process planning is introducing by basic properties. By help this method can
be preparing of processes, technological and manufacturing documentation very advantageously for
making good decisions in short periods. Manufacturing units can be more flexible by using of this way
of process plan design. The describe technique was applied in real manufacturing conditions at
product consist from a few thousand parts.
Established solution serves the purpose of easier and faster assigning of the process parameters,
shortening of the computer aided process planning documentation time in real production conditions,
and it also supports the effective utilization of the production plant based on the model mathematical
description of object variation of the computer aided process planning, fulfilling the combination of the
required characteristics within the given production conditions. Output system data can be used for
processing of the details for the warehouse, economic and wage records as for their control and
optimization. Predvýrobné aktivity sú veľmi dôležité z hľadiska veľmi výraznej možností ovplyvnenia
všetkých prvkov tvoriacich celkovú výrobnú cenu plánovaného výrobku. Nasledujúce etapy až
po predaj výrobku konečnému zákazníkovi a popredajnú starostlivosť – ktoré sú priamym
pokračovaním predvýrobnej fázy - sú však rovnako významné pre dobré postavenie
producenta na trhu. Všetky činnosti potrebné pre efektívnu prácu všetkých krokov v celom
tomto reťazci si však vyžadujú zdieľanie kľúčových informácií.
Príspevok predstavuje výsledky práce autorov pri výskume zameranom na počítačovú podporu
technologických činností, v rámci ktorého bola vyvinutá multivariantná metóda tvorby
výrobných postupov.

The demands of the automobile industry for the formability, weldability and lacquering
of galvanized steel sheet for exterior body panels are constantly growing. To meet these
requirements "tailored production of galvanized sheets" can be achieved by sophisticated
optimization procedures not only mechanical properties but also the phase composition of
coatings, coating thickness and surface microgeometry of sheet metal. In evaluating the
capacity (suitability) of Fe-Zn galvanized sheets type "galvanneal" on the surface body parts
the principles of Six Sigma methods were applied. The character of used sheet metals has
been assessed from the perspective of requirements required by the Skoda Auto company for
microgeometry surface parameters (Ra and Pc). Náročné požiadavky automobilového priemyslu nie len na hodnoty mechanických
vlastnosti, ale aj na charakteristiky mikrogeometrie povrchu pozinkovaných plechov,
charakteristiky lisovateľnosti, zvariteľnosti a lakovateľnosti je možné splniť sofistikovanými
postupmi. Pri hodnotení spôsobilosti (vhodnosti) Fe-Zn pozinkovaných plechov typu
„galvanneal“ na povrchové diely karosérie boli použité princípy metódy Six-Sigma.
Spôsobilosť použitých plechov bola posudzovaná z aspektu požiadaviek na parametre
mikrogeometrie povrchu (Ra a Pc) spoločnosti ŠKODA AUTO.

In this paper we discussed the optimization of the product from view of assembly. We have
determined the basic parameters of the product that affect the assembly process respectively its price.
The basic parameters of the product are these: materials parameters, technological parameters,
construction parameters. After examining the impact of the various parameters we were evaluated that
technological parameters that are most flexible to use in the entire assembly process. Innovation
through technological parameters can be implemented by:
• choosing a suitable joining technology
• unification of technologies
• adding technological elements
We address the choice of an appropriate assembly technology, we interpreted the choice of an
appropriate service. The joint itself can be easily chosen according to design needs but it is not always
an appropriate option for selected assembly system. If we follow in choosing the correct service must
be informed with not only product design but also with the intention of assembly.
Assembly is possible to describe by issues: What? How much? How? Where? In this paper we
describe the exact nature of issues. Theoretical Basis of the joints were set by classification. After
answering these questions and studied by the classification, we continued in the development
methodology, which is solved by a flowchart. The methodology is designed to point a particular choice
of the joint. This item is in the process methodology solutions. One possible criteria may also be
orientation. The methodology in this form eliminates irrelevant options for addressing service.

V prvopočiatku uplatnenia NC obrábania boli riadiace programy obrábania súčiastok vkladané
do NC riadiacich systémov na diernych páskach. Neskôr boli tieto programy uložené v riadiacom
počítači DNC riadenia a do NC riadiacich systémov obrábacích strojov prenášané tzv. obtokom
čítačky (spôsob BTR - Behind The Reader). Explózia PC medzi rokmi 1980 a 1990 naznačila
koniec cesty pre špeciálne terminály DNC a nastalo obdobie uplatňovania moderných DNC
systémov na komunikáciu s CNC riadiacimi systémami obrábacích strojov.

The assembly process design as a complex and difficult task requires an implementation of new
approaches, techniques and tools. The effort to innovate these processes leads to the application
of a various computer-aided tools. One of these is the video analysis. Nowadays technical means
allow an easy cooperation between the computers and the equipment for a video recording.
Implementation of a video analysis is one of the ways that can support the assembly design
processes improvement. The paper deals with the concept of a video analysis for the support of the
manual assembly operation design and the innovation of the assembly operations. A real assembly
process video shots can be analyzed and used as a basis for the further improvement of the
assembly process. The video analysis is a part of a complex methodic system for the manual
assembly workstation design. Among advantages of using video analysis belong that the real
manual assembly can be considered as the best and the most precise information and video shot
can be archived, speeded up, slowed down, played repeatedly. Developed software Assembly
Operation Analysis (fig.1) enables to analyze video captured in production or in laboratory and also
can analyze the computer simulation (see fig. 2). Realized analysis in the developed excel
application (fig. 3) gives various possibilities of result presentation. The main fields of application as
evaluation of product design change, tool - , fixture- and feeding device changes, some product
variants etc. and obtained results supports the further experiments and including AOA software into
the complex methodic of assembly processes and systems design and evaluation. Ručná montáž má stále nezastupiteľné miesto vo výrobných procesoch a je možné
predpokladať, že ani v budúcnosti jej podiel na výrobe nebude významne klesať. Je to dané
finančnou náročnosťou a technickými problémami spojenými so snahami o plnú automatizáciu
montážnych procesov. Pri montáži má významný vplyv na produktivitu a kvalitu človek
vykonávajúci montáž. Pri hľadaní rezerv a následných zmenách za účelom zvýšenia
produktivity a kvality je možné použiť rôzne prístupy, techniky, metodiky a nástroje. Jednou z
takýchto metód je aj video analýza. Tento koncept vychádza z nasnímania videa a následnej
analýzy za účelom odhalenia rezerv. Článok pojednáva o niektorých skúsenostiach s týmto
spôsobom analýzy a prezentuje dosiahnuté výsledky.
