Dvořák, Jiří; Svobodová, M.; Sklenička, Václav
2020 - Czech
The objective of the developed methodology for sensing 'in-situ' acoustic emissions during a creep test in a modified atmosphere was to minimise or eliminate noise on acoustic emission records caused by synergistic acting oxidation processes that may critically influence the identification and intensity of the acting own creep degradation processes and the relevant evaluation of the measured data. Cílem vypracované metodiky snímání akustických emisí 'in-situ' v průběhu creepové zkoušky v ochranné atmosféře byla minimalizace či odstranění šumů na záznamech akustické emise způsobených synergicky působícími oxidačními procesy, které mohou kriticky ovlivňovat identifikaci a intenzitu působících vlastních creepových degradačních procesů a relevantní vyhodnocení naměřených dat. 2019 - Czech
Current acoustic emission (AE) applications are preferably oriented to continuous monitoring of machine component operation. AE is a perspective non-destructive method for early prediction and identification of material defects to avoid a disaster of running equipment. The paper analyzes the measured data and analysis of signals at the level of individual emission events during the creep test of a copper based on the results of previously performed microstructural and fractographic analyses of its creep damage evolution and fracture. The aim of the model study is to contribute to the successful application of AE for real operating components of power equipments and thus to increase their operational safety. Measurement of very slow creep deformations of nuclear fuel coating materials by helicoid specimens technique.
Kloc, Luboš
2018 - Czech
Presented technique enables experimental determination of the creep properties of the nuclear fuel cladding tubes under conditions leading to very low strain rates, which are not measurable by conventional creep tests. The data are necessary for the numerical modeling of the nuclear fuel behavior inside the reactor or during the fuel storage and are not available or used to be replaced by the data obtained by unreliable extrapolation.
2015 - Czech
The modified compact tension test (MCT) might be in the future a stable test configuration for the evaluation of fracture-mechanics parameter or also a fatigue behavior of the composites materials such the concrete is. Core drilling can be employed to obtain specimens which are cylindrical in shape with the chosen thickness. This contribution focuses on the evaluation of MCT specimen fracture behavior during static tests and the comparison of two different fixing system of the test machine. The results are represented as L-COD diagrams (i.e. load vs. crack opening displacement measured on the loading axis.
Sets of deformation, strength, fracture mechanical and fatigue properties of base materials and weld joints from feeder piping of water turbine is summarised in the report. There are data from 30 mm thick steel sheet and weld joint of this sheet with the casting part. R-curves have been also measured by loading - unloading method at room temperature and at 0°C. In addition tests of CT specimens in the upper shelf and transition region have been carried out with the aim to specify the lowest (conservative) value of the fracture toughness. Fatigue tests are reported too, mainly based on cyclic response curves and life time curves of the base material and heat affected zone of the weld joint between sheet materials. Dílčí zpráva obsahuje soubor deformačních, pevnostních, lomově mechanických a únavových vlastností základních materiálů a svarů spirály vodní turbíny. Navíc byly realizovány zkoušky CT těles v oblasti horní prahové hodnoty (a tranzitní oblasti) s cílem určit konzervativní hodnotu parametru odolnosti vůči lomu.
