Art therapy with children-foreigners living in the Czech environment

The bachelor thesis deals with the art therapy support of children-foreigners during their adaptation period in the Czech Republic after resettlement from their country of origin. Specifically, it presents the experience of group art therapy with Ukrainian refugee children arriving in the Czech Republic after the Russian army invaded their homeland in February 2022. The theoretical part describes the circumstances and changes of the immigration situation in the Czech Republic due to the influx of refugees from Ukraine, the legislation applicable to foreign children living in the Czech Republic and the ways of supporting children with a different mother tongue in the Czech education system. One subchapter is devoted to the cultural and historical context of Ukraine, which is essential for the overall understanding of the political and social situation, as it contributes to the formation of the identity of Ukrainian children. The second chapter deals with the usual psychological themes of newly arrived children from another country. The practical part describes the course and focus of art therapy sessions for Ukrainian children, presents four case studies supported by children's artwork and defines the specifics of art therapy work with the chosen target group. Bakalářská práce se zabývá arteterapeutickou podporou dětí-cizinců během jejich adaptačního období v České republice po přesídlení z původní země. Konkrétně předkládá zkušenosti ze skupinové arteterapie s dětskými ukrajinskými uprchlíky přicházejícími do České republiky po napadení jejich vlasti ruskou armádou v únoru 2022. V teoretické části jsou popsané okolnosti a proměny imigrační situace v České republice vlivem přílivu uprchlíků z Ukrajiny, legislativa vztahující se na děti-cizince žijící v České republice a způsoby podpory dětí s odlišným mateřským jazykem v českém vzdělávacím systému. Jedna podkapitola je věnována kulturně-historickému kontextu Ukrajiny, který je podstatný pro celkové pochopení politické a společenské situace, neboť se podílí na utváření identity ukrajinských dětí. Druhá kapitola se zabývá obvyklými psychologickými tématy nově příchozích dětí z jiné země. Praktická část popisuje průběh a zaměření arteterapeutických setkání pro ukrajinské děti, předkládá čtyři kazuistické studie podložené výtvarnou tvorbou dětí a definuje specifika arteterapeutické práce se zvolenou cílovou skupinou.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the potential of using land art strategies in art therapy. The theoretical part covers the history of land art, analyzes its creative principles, and explores its possible therapeutic applications. Practical examples are also presented. The practical part describes the experiences of workshop participants who created and reflected on their works inspired by land art. The practical part also deals with the interpretation possibilities of such land art works. Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá potenciál využití land artových uměleckých strategií v arteterapii. V teoretické části se zabývá historií land artu. Dále rozebírá jednotlivé tvůrčí principy land artu a jejich možné terapeutické využití. Jsou zde uvedeny také příklady z praxe. V praktické části jsou popsány zkušenosti z workshopu, během nějž respondenti tvořili a reflektovali díla inspirovaná land artem. Praktická část se zabývá také interpretačními možnostmi land artového díla.

The diploma thesis deals with the potential use of Escape Games in Teaching Geography at lower secondary school. The main aim of the diploma theses is the creation of three educational activities using the method of Escape Game. The presented thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part based on it. The goal of theoretical part is to define Escape game as a kind of didactical game and its potential uses in teaching, especially in teaching Geography at lower secondary school. This part also gives attention to general information about the Escape Game (such as its history, its kinds etc.) The practical part contains the three created activities using the method of Escape Game and other methods (for example questing, geocaching, QR codes and the method of BYOD), its methodology, realisation and the following reflexion. Diplomová práce se zabývá možností využití únikové hry ve výuce zeměpisu na 2. stupni ZŠ. Hlavním cílem práce je vytvoření tří výukových aktivit využívajících metodu únikové hry. Předkládaná práce je tvořena dvěma částmi, části teoretické a z ní vycházející části praktické. Teoretická část má za úkol vymezit únikovou hru jako formu didaktické hry a možnosti jejího využití ve výuce, zvláště pak ve výuce zeměpisu na 2. stupni ZŠ. Tato část věnuje pozornost také obecným informacím týkajících se únikové hry (jako je historie, druhy únikových her aj.). Praktická část obsahuje tři vytvořené aktivity využívající metodu únikové hry a jiných metod (např. questing, geocaching, QR kódy a metodu BYOD), jejich metodiku, realizaci a následnou reflexi.

Playing the recorder at primary school

The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of playing the recorder in Music lessons in primary education at elementary schools. It observes the runnings of lessons and pupils' final abilities. A brief description of children's musical development can be found in the theoretical part. It is followed by an introduction to Music education. Important chapters on the recorder, its history, playing techniques and various teaching methods are included. Several publications about teaching the recorder are presented at the end of the theoretical part. Teachers can get inspired by them for their lessons of Music. The thesis contains ten lessons that have been created and then put into practice. Each lesson introduces my own methodology and a worksheet with pictures and sheet music, feedbacks and recommended adjustments or changes. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether it is possible for learners to learn playing the recorder in lessons with a high number of pupils. Therefore, the thesis also shows results of the research. The results are confirmed by the final abilities of pupils after the Music lessons. Diplomová práce se zabývá zařazením hry na zobcovou flétnu do hodin hudební výchovy na prvním stupni základních škol. Sleduje realizaci lekcí a výsledné schopnosti žáků. V teoretické části lze nalézt stručný popis hudebního vývoje dítěte, na který navazuje představení oboru hudební výchovy. Za důležité mohou být považovány kapitoly o zobcové flétně, její historii, o technice hry a možných způsobech výuky. V závěru teoretické části je představeno několik publikací zabývajících se výukou hry na zobcovou flétnu, z nichž může pedagog čerpat inspiraci pro své hodiny. Praktická část práce obsahuje deset vytvořených lekcí, které byly ověřeny v praxi. Součástí každé lekce je vypracovaná metodika, autorský pracovní list obsahující obrázkový materiál a notové záznamy, reflexe a doporučené úpravy či obměny. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, zda je možné realizovat hru na zobcovou flétnu v rámci vyučovacích hodin i při větším počtu žáků. Z toho důvodu obsahuje práce také výsledky akčního výzkumu, jež zobrazují úroveň osvojení hry u žáků po odučených lekcích.

The bachelor's thesis first deals with brief information about the main stages of the progress of secondary education in Strakonice, the main part of the thesis is focused on the history of the Vyšší odborná škola, Střední průmyslová škola a Střední odborná škola řemesel a služeb Strakonice. A detailed description of these stages in addition to the presentation of previously unpublished information are the main objectives of this bachelor thesis. In order to fulfil the objectives, historical and heuristic methods were used, including comparative analysis as well as guided interviews with memorials and the current management of the school. Bakalářská práce se nejprve zabývá stručnými informacemi o hlavních etapách vývoje středního školství ve Strakonicích, hlavní část práce se soustředí na historii Vyšší odborné školy, Střední průmyslové školy a Střední odborné školy řemesel a služeb Strakonice. Zevrubné popsání těchto etap vedle uvedení dosud nepublikovaných informací jsou základní cíle této bakalářské práce. Pro naplnění cílů se vycházelo z historické a heuristické metody, včetně komparativní analýzy i řízených rozhovorů s pamětníky a se současným managementem školy.

The presented theoretical and project diploma thesis was aimed at developing an art project AQUARIUM, during the Art Education lessons in the first level of elementary school. It is structured in two parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part defines the therms and processes available literature on the topic. The project part of the thesis consists of eleven proposed art lessons and also deals with the documentation, implementation and reflection of the proposed teaching units. The diploma thesis is followed with pictorial annexes related to the theoretical part, photo documentation of lessons and proposed structured preparation. Diplomová práce teoreticko-projektového charakteru se zabývá zpracováním výtvarného projektu, respektive výtvarné řady s názvem AKVÁRIUM, která byla zrealizována v rámci lekcí výtvarné výchovy na prvním stupni základní školy. Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy týkající se tématu a zpracovává je na základě dostupné literatury. Projektová část diplomové práce se skládá z jedenácti navržených výtvarných lekcí. Dále se věnuje dokumentaci, realizaci a reflektování navržených vyučovacích jednotek. Diplomová práce je doplněna o obrazové přílohy vztahující se k teoretické části, fotodokumentaci lekcí a navržené strukturované přípravy.

Aspects of Reading and Writing Skills in Pre-school children

The topic of the bachelor thesis is pre-reading literacy. The theoretical part focuses on pre-school education, pre-school child and the readiness and maturity for entering primary school. The practical part focuses on establishing the level of literacy skills for reading and writing, possibly more developed reading skills, and on strengthening hygiene habits in children in the last year of kindergarten. The research was conducted through observation and interviews with kindergarten children and teachers. Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku předčtenářské gramotnosti. Teoretická část se věnuje předškolnímu vzdělávání, předškolnímu dítěti a jeho připravenosti a zralosti pro vstup do základní školy. Pozornost je také věnována hygienickým návykům pro psaní. Praktická část je zaměřena na zjištění úrovně znalosti písma pro čtení a psaní, případně rozvinutější dovednost čtení a na upevňování hygienických návyků u dětí v posledním ročníku mateřské školy. Výzkumné šetření probíhalo formou pozorování a rozhovorů s dětmi a učitelkami mateřských škol.

The influence of social media on eating disorders in today's youth generation

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to investigate how social media may influence the development of eating disorders in today's youth. The thesis is theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the group that is the focus of the thesis, namely young adults. Also, the theoretical part includes the definition of concepts such as social media, eating disorders and, last but not least, their possible interrelation, or the influence of social media on these disorders. The practical part describes the research, which took the form of semi-structured interviews. The aim of the practical part was to describe the influence of social media on the emergence and development of eating disorders in women aged 20 to 25 years. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jaký mohou mít sociální média vliv na vznik poruch příjmu potravy u současné mládeže. Práce je teoreticko-praktická. Teoretická část se zabývá skupinou, na kterou je práce zaměřena, a to konkrétně mladými dospělými. Dále je součástí teoretického pojetí vymezení pojmů jako jsou sociální média, poruchy příjmu potravy a v poslední řadě také jejich možný vzájemný vztah, neboli vliv sociálních médií na tyto poruchy. V praktické části je popsán výzkum, který probíhal formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Cílem praktické části bylo popsat vliv sociálních médií na vznik a vývoj poruch příjmů potravy u žen ve věku od 20 do 25 let.

The aim of the thesis "Contemporary Japanese art as a source of inspiration for art activities at primary school" is to present contemporary Japanese art as an inspirational topic for art education. The work is divided into theoretical and project part. The theoretical part presents the ideological anchor of the work and defines its importance in the didactics of art education. The practical part takes inspiration from selected Japanese artists and presents an art series from which individual lessons can be used to enrich art education at primary school level 1, thus giving pupils an insight into Japanese art and at the same time introducing them to Japanese culture and interesting techniques. Cílem práce "Současné japonské umění jako inspirační zdroj výtvarných činností na 1. stupni ZŠ" je představit současné japonské umění jako inspirativní téma pro výuku výtvarné výchovy. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a projektovou část. Teoretická část přináší ideové ukotvení práce a definuje její význam v didaktice výtvarné výchovy. Praktická část se inspiruje vybranými japonskými umělci a přináší výtvarnou řadu, ze které je možné použít jednotlivé lekce pro zpestření výtvarné výchovy na 1. stupni ZŠ, a předat tím žákům vhled do japonského umění a zároveň je seznámit s japonskou kulturou a zajímavými technikami.

Risk behaviour of students at primary school

This bachelorś thesis deals with the issue of risky behaviour in second grade pupils in a mainstream primary school. I tis divided into two parts. In the first, tehoretical part, the issue of risky behaviour, the corresponding developmental periods of second grade pupils and strategies for dealing with this behaviour are described with reference to the literature. In the practical part, the aim was to determine the occurrence of each selected type of risky behaviour, the form of preventive precaution and the solution of this behaviour in the family and at school. The research involved 177 pupils in the seventh, eight and ninth grades from one selected school. The evalution of the research was based on a questionnaire survey and the results were also provived to the selected school as a basis for the development of its prevention strategy for the following school year. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou rizikového chování u žáků druhého stupně na běžné základní škole. Je rozdělena na dvě části. V první, teoretické, části je s ohledem na odbornou literaturu popsána problematika rizikového chování, odpovídající vývojové období žáků druhého stupně a strategie řešení tohoto chování. V praktické části bylo cílem zjistit výskyt jednotlivých vybraných druhů rizikového chování, formu preventivních opatření a řešení těchto projevů v rodině i ve škole. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 177 žáků sedmých, osmých a devátých tříd z jedné vybrané školy. Vyhodnocení výzkumu probíhalo na základě dotazníkového šetření a výsledky byly poskytnuty i vybrané škole jako podklad pro tvorbu její preventivní strategie na následující školní rok.
