Within this project were developed prototypes of the seismic rotation motion based on the two principles and also a generator of rotational motion that can be used for seismic prospection. During the theoretical works and experiments we found that generator and sensor of rotational motion can be used in geophysical prospecting. V rámci tohoto projektu se podařilo jednak zkonstruovat a otestovat rotační senzory na dvou principech a dále připravit generátor rotačních kmitů pro testování a seismickou prospekci. Během teoretických analýz a praktických testů jsme objevili možnost použití rotačních vln jako prospekční metody.

Organic compounds in hardcoal waste piles studied by GC/MS and Py-GC/MS

GC/MS and Py-GC/MS techniques were used to provide information on set of samples from three waste piles localities in Czech Republic. Substituted and unsubstituted phenantrenes and other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were comprised in sample extracts. The results were correlated with petrographic composition. GC/MS a Py-GC/MS techniky byly použity pro studium sady vzorků z uhelných odvalů ze tří lokalit České republiky. V extraktech ze vzorků byly nalezeny hlavně substituované a nesubstituované fenantreny a další polyaromatické uhlovodíky. Výsledky byly korelovány s petrografickou analýzou .

The study describes chemistry and isotopic composition of water from unsaturated zone of sandstone. Studied waters are extremely acidified. Isotopic composition of H and O of studied waters lies at local line of meteoric water. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo popsat chemizmus a isotopického složení vody nenasycené zóny pískovců. Studované vody jsou extrémně acidifikované. Izotopové složení H a O studovaných vod leží na lokální linii meteorické vody.

Particulate composite materials have been developed for applications in the form of an intervertebral cage (for use in spine treatment). The intervertebral cage is composed of a bearing cage made of PEEK and a composite core with the surface contacting the bone surface and ensuring elastic linkage of two vertebral bodies, resulting in good adhesion to the bone. Mechanical analysis of different kinds of particulate composites was performed. The effect of hydroxyapatite and tri-calcium phosphate nanofiller volume fractions on the mechanical properties of particulate composites was investigated.

Cílem této práce bylo připravit biologicky inspirovaný kompozitní materiál složený z želatinové matrice, želatinových nanovláken a z nanočástic hydroxyapatitu a ověření vlivu nanovláken na mechanické vlastnosti kompozitu. The aims of this work has been the preparation of bioinspired composite materials composed of gelatin matrix, gelatin nanofibers and hydroxyapaptite powder and verifying the influence of nanofibers on the mechanical properties of the composites.

Content of polyaromatic hydrocarbons was determined in diesel fuels by 1H NMR, HPLC a LSC. Olephines and aromatics were determined in gasolines by 1H NMR a GC. Results of 1H NMR were compared with those of chromatograpic methods. Ve vzorcích motorových naft byl stanoven obsah polyaromatických uhlovodíků metodami 1H NMR, HPLC a LSC. Obsah olefinů a aromátů byl v automobilových benzinech stanoven metodami 1H NMR a GC. Výsledky 1H NMR byly srovnány s těmi chromatografických metod.

The Doupov volcanic komplex forms the Doupovské hory mts. in the western part of the Bohemian Massif, Czech republic. For several reasons, detailed geological and geophysical studie sof this interesting region arre still lacking. The situation improves as seismic measurements were perfomed there in June 2008. Doupovský vulkanický komplex vytváří Doupovské hory v západní části Českého masívu. Detailní geologické a geofyzikální studie této oblasti dosud chybí. Tuto skutečnost zlepšuje seismologické měření provedené v červnu 2008.

In January 2008 the small-aperture seismic array Ostaš in East Bohemia registered 189 microearthquakes, forming seismic swarm. Basic information about this swarm is given in the paper. V lednu 2008 zaznamenala skupinová stanice Ostaš ve východních Čechách 189 mikrozemětřesení, které tvořily seismický roj. V článku jsou shrnuty základní informace o tomto roji.
