2022 - German Heinrich Böll's early prose was written in a contemporary context, which was to a large extent influenced by the concept of the historical presence, resp. by the end of the World War II as "Zero Hour" (Stunde Null), and they have numerous connections to this context. Even in their titles, there are often time motives. This bachelor thesis carries out a narratological analysis of the time arrangement of the narration of four short stories and focuses also on the perception and conception of time by their characters. It offers an answer to the questions of whether these concepts correspond more to an open or closed, linear or cyclical concept of time, or they displace the category of time; whether the time of the story is teleological (e.g. in the sense of 'destiny'), or its centre represents a shock that can be overcome ('crisis'), or whether the stories constitute a conflict of several such conceptions of time. The thesis monitors continuously the significance of the findings in relation to the non-literary perception of the historical time. It is based on the analysis of the short story Der Zug war pünktlich and then includes other short stories Damals in Odessa, Geschäft ist Geschäft, Nicht nur zur Weihnachtszeit. Rané prózy Heinricha Bölla vznikaly v dobovém kontextu, který byl do značené míry ovlivněn pojetím historické přítomnosti, resp. konce 2. sv. války jako "hodiny nula" (Stunde Null), a s tímto kontextem je spojují četné souvislosti. I v jejich názvech se často vyskytují časové motivy. Práce provádí naratologický rozbor časového aranžmá vyprávění čtyř prozaických textů a dále se zaměřuje na vnímání a pojetí času jejich postavami. Nabízí odpověď na otázky, zda tato pojetí odpovídají spíše otevřenému či uzavřenému, lineárnímu či cyklickému pojetí času, nebo kategorii času vytěsňují; zda je čas příběhu teleologický (např. ve smyslu ‚osudu'), nebo jeho centrum představuje otřes, který lze překonat (‚krize'), příp. zda povídky představují konflikt vícero takových pojetí času. Práce průběžně sleduje význam zjištění ve vztahu k mimoliterárnímu dobovému vnímání historického času. Vychází z rozboru díla Der Zug war pünktlich a dále zapojuje povídky Damals in Odessa, Geschäft ist Geschäft, Nicht nur zur Weihnachtszeit. Jazykové jednání a kritika jazyka ve hře Ödöna von Horvátha Povídky z Vídeňského lesa

2022 - German This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of language performance and critique of language in the play Tales from the Vienna Woods, which is due to the life and the dramaturgic intentions of Ödön von Horváth an essential topic and a means of artistic expression of this author. By analyzing the use of the language of the church, morality, and politics as well as the significant stylistic issues and relevant nonverbal factors, the thesis explains various forms of language performance, the most dominant of which are the language mechanisms used by the characters in order to hide their true intentions. Subsequently, those cases of language performance that are referred to in the literature on the subject as Bildungsjargon are being analyzed to assess the discrepancy between the language and the thinking, as this phenomenon plays a decisive role in Horváth's critique of the contemporary petite bourgeoisie. In the last part of the thesis, attention is also paid to the research literature regarding this matter and to the recurring overinterpretation of language in Horváth's play. Pomocí analýzy používání jazyka církve, morálky a politiky, významné roviny stylistické jakožto relevantních mimojazykových faktorů práce vysvětluje rozličné podoby jazykového jednání, v nichž vystupuje do popředí především účelovost jazykových mechanismů užívaných postavami k zakrytí jejich skutečných úmyslů. Ty případy jazykového jednání, které jsou v odborné literatuře označovány jako Bildungsjargon, jsou dále zkoumány pro posouzení jazykově kriticky relevantního nesouladu jazyka a myšlení, jenž je důležitým rysem Horváthovy kritiky soudobého maloměšťanského prostředí. V závěru práce jsou pak zpracovány jazykově kritické poznatky obsažené v odborné literatuře, přičemž pozornost je věnována opakovaně se vyskytující nadinterpretaci jazyka hry. Anglické výrazy v německojazyčných reklamách mezi lety 2000 a 2021

2022 - German The core of this bachelor thesis is an empirical study of seven selected English expressions in German-language advertising, between the years 2000 and 2021. The empirical study is based on a survey. The introduction explains the choice of the topic and describes the course and goal of the work. In the first, theoretical part, all the necessary terms on the subject of English borrowings in the German language are explained and the basic principles of advertising are characterized. In addition, some studies that were previously conducted on a similar topic are cited. The methodological part illustrates the means and procedures used in each part of the analysis. In the practical part of this work, survey results are collected and analyzed. The analysis consists of two parts. In the first, qualitative analysis, the respondents' answers are written down and analyzed semantically. The second, quantitative, provides concrete charts and statistics, also based on respondents' specific answers. In the concluding part of the work, the results of the study are summarized, and the resulting theses are developed. Empirická studie je založena na anketě formou dotazníku. V úvodu je vysvětlena volba tématu a popsán průběh a cíl práce. V první, teoretické části, jsou vysvětleny všechny potřebné pojmy na téma anglických výpůjček/přejímání z angličtiny do německého jazyka a charakterizovány základní principy reklamy. Kromě toho jsou citovány dvě studie dříve provedené na podobné téma. Metodologická část ilustruje prostředky a postupy použité v jednotlivých částech analýzy. V praktické části této práce jsou shromážděny a analyzovány výsledky průzkumu. Analýza se skládá ze dvou částí. V první, kvalitativní analýze jsou odpovědi respondentů sepsány a sémanticky analyzovány. Ve druhé kvantitativní jsou pak uvedeny konkrétní grafy a statistiky, rovněž na základě konkrétních odpovědí respondentů. V závěrečné části práce jsou shrnuty výsledky studie a vypracovány z nich vyplývající teze. 2022 - German The contrastive analysis of the free participle I-phrases in German and their translation equivalents in Czech comprises the core of this bachelor's thesis. The introduction highlights the reasons for the choice of the theme, explains the goal of the thesis and provides description of its individual parts. The description of the key attributes of the free participle I-phrases in German and the transgressives of simultaneity in Czech constitutes the majority of the theoretical part. Their common attributes are then used to show their semantic proximity. The methodology highlights the means and procedures used in the individual parts of the analysis. The quantitative analysis consists mainly of the numeral comparison of the phrase types and word forms from the analysed sample, that occur as equivalent forms within the translations of the chosen three books from Grass. In addition to that the decline in use of the free participle Iphrases and the transgressives of simultaneity within the analysed sample is also discussed here. The qualitative analysis shows the equivalence of all the different types of translation from the analysed sample with the original forms using a wide range of paraphrases and explanations. Jádro této bakalářské práce tvoří kontrastivní analýza volných spojení příčestí přítomného v němčině a jejich překladových ekvivalentů v češtině. V úvodu je odůvodněna volba tématu a vytyčen cíl práce. Jsou zde také popsány jednotlivé části práce. V teoretické části jsou především popsány klíčové vlastnosti volných spojení příčestí přítomného v němčině a přechodníků přítomných v češtině. Na základě společných vlastností je zde také znázorněna jejich sémantická blízkost. V metodologické části jsou popsány prostředky a postupy použité v jednotlivých částech analýzy. V kvantitativní analýze se na základě počtu srovnávají typy frází a slovní tvary z analyzovaného vzorku, které se v českých překladech třech vybraných Grassových knih vyskytují jakožto ekvivalentní tvary. Kromě toho se v této části práce také hovoří o poklesu užívání volných spojení příčestí přítomného a přechodníků přítomných uvnitř analyzovaného vzorku. V kvalitativní analýze je u všech v analyzovaném vzorku se vyskytujících typů překladu pomocí nejrüznějších parafrází a vysvětlení znázorněna jejich ekvivalence s původními tvary. Na konci jsou výsledky práce shrnuty a porovnány s výchozí tezí. Poté je ještě nabídnut krátký pohled do budoucnosti. 2022 - German English In this dissertation I thematise the act of photographing with a special emphasis on the seeing, which constitutes this act. In order to cast a light on this subject, I refer to the early philosophy of Martin Heidegger as well as to the Japanese philosopher Kitarō Nishida. Having Heidegger's 'Pragmatism' and 'Apriorism' as my point of departure, I first develop a hypothesis of a tension be- tween the passivity and the activity of photographic vision. On the one hand, photographers depend on already existing entities and contexts, in which entities appear to us 'first and foremost'; on the other hand, photographers possess an 'a priori knowledge' regarding framing, which helps them to activate photographic vision in the right moment and under the right circumstances. Alongside the idea of a modification of sight from a practical interest (,Umsicht!) to the theoretical one (,Hinse- hen'), I also discuss photographic seeing with reference to Heidegger's idea of the phenomenologi- cal reduction. Before photographers use their cameras to prepare for the actual shot, they modify their understanding of the being of the encountered entities, i. e. they perform a phenomenological- photographic reduction. The first part of the dissertation ends with the inclusion of the theme of au- thenticity,... čeština V této disertační práci tematizuji akt fotografování se zvláštním důrazem na vidění, které tento akt konstituuje. Abych toto téma osvětlil, odkazuji na ranou filozofii Martina Heideggera a japonského filozofa Kitaró Nišidy. Vycházím z Heideggerova "pragmatismu" a "apriorismu" a nejprve rozvíjím hypotézu o napětí mezi pasivitou a aktivitou fotografického vidění. Na jedné straně jsou fotografové závislí na již existujících entitách a kontextech, v nichž se nám entity jeví "především"; na druhé straně fotografové disponují "apriorní znalostí" týkající se rámování, která jim pomáhá aktivovat fotografické vidění ve správný okamžik a za správných okolností. Vedle myšlenky modifikace vidění od praktického zájmu (,Umsicht') k teoretickému (,Hinsehen') pojednávám o fotografickém vidění také s odkazem na Heideggerovu myšlenku fenomenologické redukce. Než fotografové použijí své fotoaparáty a připraví se na vlastní záběr, modifikují své chápání bytí setkávaných entit, tj. provádějí fenomenologicko-fotografickou redukci. První část disertační práce končí zařazením tématu autenticity, jehož prostřednictvím se pro diskusi o fotografických praktikách stává relevantním několik dalších dílčích témat, jako je individuace, nálady a také okamžik. Němčina jako pluricentrický jazyk ve vzdělávacích kontextech

2022 - German The thesis discusses the question of the extent to which German is approached in Czech schools as a pluricentric language. It consists of a theoretical part, a part devoted to methodology, course books analysis and empirical research. The theoretical part provides information about pluricentricity, German as a pluricentric language and the language management theory, while the methods of group conversations (focus group and group discussion) are introduced. The course books analysis provides an overview of what can be found in course books that are in use in Czech schools, concerning language variation depending on the country. The analysis reveals that the information regarding lexicon and pragmatics prevailed. The results of the empirical research are presented according to four research questions: To what extent is German treated as a pluricentric language in the course books? To what extent is German accepted as a pluricentric language by teachers? To what extent is German accepted as a pluricentric Language by pupils? Is English accepted as a pluricentric language rather than German? Empirical research, conducted by means of questionnaires and focus group, proves that the pluricentricity of German language is thematized by teachers mainly in connection with information about German-speaking... Tato diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou, jak dalece se na českých školách přistupuje k němčině jako k pluricentrickému jazyku. Sestává z teoretické části, části věnované metodologii, analýzy učebnic a empirického výzkumu. V rámci teoretické části je představen pluricentrismus, němčina jako plurizentrický jazyk a teorie jazykového managementu a jsou blíže osvětleny metody skupinových rozhovorů (focus group a group discussion). Analýza učebnic poskytuje přehled o tom, co je možné v učebnicích, které jsou používány na českých školách možné nalézt o jazykové variaci v závislosti na státu. V rámci analýzy učebnice vyšlo najevo, že ve většině případů je tematizována slovní zásoba a pragmatika. Prezentace výsledků empirického výzkumu je strukturována podle čtyř výzkumných otázek: Jak dalece je němčina jako pluricentrický jazyk akceptována v učebnicích?
