2009 - English Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím neverbální komunikace ve výuce anglického jazyka. Jejím významem a vlivem při výuce vedené v anglickém jazyce. Tato práce popisuje využití neverbální komunikace v hodinách a dále zkoumá její podporu při tzv. teaching English through English, tedy při výuce anglického jazyka výlučně anglicky. Zkoumání probíhá formou akčního výzkumu a je vyhodnoceno. Společenská kritika v románu Kena Keseyho Přelet nad kukaččím hnízdem

2008 - English Román Kena Keseyho Přelet nad kukaččím hnízdem je „dílem své doby”. Děj románu se odehrává převážně za zdmi psychiatrické kliniky, která je metaforou Ameriky 50. a 60. let. Důležitými myšlenkami románu je kritika moderní společnosti a oslava svobody a spontánnosti. Postava Randla McMurphyho je symbolem mladé americké generace 60. let. Román je zkoumán především po stránce motivické a tematické s využitím metody textové analýzy. Rozbor díla je zaměřen na uzavřený svět psychiatrické léčebny reflektující americký „makrokosmos”, způsob zachyscení silových her, manipulací a dominancí mezi postavami a dalšími prostředky, jimiž autor dosahuje kritického účinku. Obraz fotbalu a jeho reflexe v moderní britské literatuře

2008 - English Cílem této práce bylo zpracování fotbalu jako obrazu a jeho využití v knize Nicka Hornbyho Fotbalová horečka a ve Fotbalové fabrice od Johna Kinga. Práce se zaměřuje zejména na reflexi kulturní identity, anglického třídního systému a maskulinity a jejich následného literárního uchopení. Obě knihy se liší ve struktuře i úhlu pohledu, čímž umožňují vyvážený a komplexní pohled na britskou společnost zobrazenou pomocí zmíněné metafory fotbalu. 2008 - English This thesis deals with comparison of standardised tests of English language. The introductory chapter provides an insight into the field of language testing, its interrelationship with teaching, and different types of tests and testing. The theoretical part introduces criteria against which language tests should be measured, test specifications and different approaches to language testing with emphasis laid on communicative language testing. The last two chapters of the theoretical part introduce theoretical framework of communicative competence and test techniques, two categories which will be used as the basis for the research which will be carried out in the practical part of the thesis. 2008 - English This paper discusses, by the means of case study, approaches towards problems of pupils with specific learning difficulties in lessons of English language on elementary school and tries to suggest suitable strategies and techniques. Theoretical part, deals with terminology of specific learning difficulties; dyslexia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, its symptoms and theory of techniques and strategies by various authors. Practical part is divided into two parts: the pre-research and main research. The pre-research focuses on specifying the area of difficulty of the pupil and his learning style.
