For designing precisely the reinforcement of mine gate and reinforcing underground structures in general, knowing stress and deformation states in the rock massive in the immediate vicinity of these mine works as precisely as possible is absolutely decisive. In order to verify the rock mass stress state and its changes induced by longwall mining, the monitoring of rock mass stress changing in connection with the mine out of the coal seam No. 501, longwall face No. II/501/C in the Mine Staszic-Wujek, Poland, was suggested. The aim of the contractual research was the realisation and interpretation of the rock stress state monitoring using the CCBO (Compact Conical ended Borehole Overcoring method) and CCBM (Compact Conical ended Borehole Monitoring method) probes in the forefield of mentioned longwall face within geotechnical station. To verify stress monitoring, the survey of the state of the longwall gate was carried out using a pulse 3D scanner. The purpose was to capture deformation changes ahead of the advancing longwall face, specifically, at five stages in the ± 20 m section on each side from the installed geotechnical station. Keywords: pre-mining stress; induced stress; 3D laser scanning Available at various institutes of the ASCR

2022 - English
Structural-geological analysis, i.e. fracturing assessment of the walls of geotechnical boreholes (CIS38 and CIS39) within the projected Decline in lithium exploratory area was carried out on the basis of optical (OPTV) and acoustic televiewer (HiRAT) records evaluation. HiRAT and OPTV probes are part of the Robertson Geologging logging equipment. The apparatus has an electric winch with a four core logging cable, which transmits the data recorded by the probes via a data logger to a computer. The spatial data obtained from interpretation of the geotechnical boreholes records were structurally analysed. The submitted research report comprehensively summarises the findings obtained from the structural mapping of geotechnical boreholes. On the basis measured data the rock mass quality evaluation of boreholes walls were additionally done. The complex data have been allowed very precise analysis of rock mass structural conditions, which are necessary for design of opening mine working. Keywords: geotechnical boreholes; structural mapping; geotechnics Available on request at various institutes of the ASCR

2018 - English
Structural-geological analysis, i.e. core fracturing assessment within the boxcut safety\nborehole was carried out on the basis of optical televiewer record evaluation. In general,\noptical televiewer (OPTV) probe provides a continuous, unwrapped, high-resolution digital\n360° image of the borehole-walls oriented towards the cardinal points. This technique\nprovides information about the strike, dip direction, dip angle and depth of foliation, bedding\nplanes and fractures, as well as the frequency, aperture and infillings of fractures. Information\nabout spatial characteristics of structural elements is one of its indisputable advantages and\nallows for subsequent statistical evaluations.\nThe structural mapping of boreholes of Boxcut safety boreholes were carried out within the\ncontract of IG CAS (Contract No. D/18/156/00) GEOMET, s.r.o. (as a customer, contract No.\n01/2018). The aim of the contractual research was the realisation and interpretation of the\nfractures by digital logging of boreholes walls. The report contains CFD results and description of the two phase flow water and air. Water comes into the computational domain through the nozzle which creates water jet. The jet falls on the wall surface where flows along the surface plate in all directions (x,y mainly). The aim of the work is to show how the falling water flows on the wall surface with help of advanced CFD model. Three cases had been solved there with a various jets sloping to the bottom surface plate. The first case contains results with configuration of the geometry for the jet sloping 90o. Second case contains results with configuration of the geometry for the jet sloping 85o and third case contains results with configuration of the geometry for the jet sloping 75o, see enclosures 1, 2 and 3.
