There is an increasing demand in the domain of data science for auto- mated tools analyzing the data lineage of software systems. In situations where general-purpose programming languages are used, Python is among the most popular choices. It is also one of the most challenging to analyze. Manta Flow is an automated data lineage analysis platform that contains a scanner for Python. In this work, we developed an extension of this scanner. Its purpose is to statically determine the types of expressions in an analyzed application. We achieved this by expanding the concept of data flows to carry type information and we appropriately refactored the internals of the scanner. This information was then used to implement an improved method for finding the targets of function invocations during the analysis of data flows. 2024 - Czech
Natural killer (NK) cells are lymphocytes of the innate immune system that recognize and eliminate transformed and potentially harmful cells in a mechanism termed immunosurveillance. Malignant cells strive to escape immunosurveillance, and if successful, oncological disease develops. To restore immune recognition, immunotherapy utilizing NK cell-directed therapeutic fusion proteins can be employed. Therapeutic fusion proteins target tumour markers expressed on the surface of malignant cells and, at the same time, stimulate immune response through binding to NK cell activating receptors, for example receptor NKG2D or NKp30. A relevant example of a tumour marker is the HER2 receptor, which is often overexpressed in several types of cancer, most notably breast carcinoma. This thesis describes the preparation of several bispecific fusion proteins with potential use in immunotherapy. Bispecific fusion proteins consist of an NK cell activating ligand (ligand MICA or B7-H6) and nanobody targeting selected tumour marker (receptor HER2), which are connected by flexible glycine-serine linker. The constructs of fusion proteins were prepared in two configurations - with nanobody located on the N-terminus and the ligand on the C-terminus and vice versa. In addition, bispecific fusion proteins introducing... The aim of this empirical study was to examine how players' explicit and implicit attitudes towards content depicted in a video game influence their interaction with the game and their game experience. In order to do so, this study examined a particular case of a video game representing gay and bisexual women. The primary aim was to investigate how players' game engagement is influenced by the topic portrayed and by their attitudes towards gay and bisexual women. The secondary aim was to explore the players' implicit and explicit attitude change towards gay and bisexual women as a result of playing the game. This study used an experimental and a control condition, with two versions of one game differing only in the identity of one character - in the experimental version she is a lesbian and in the control version a heterosexual woman. The modification of the game was a part of the thesis. Participants' implicit and explicit pretest and posttest attitudes were measured, and their game engagement was measured in the posttest. Results showed lower game engagement in the experimental compared to the control group, however, no link between initial attitudes and game engagement was found. There was no significant explicit or implicit attitude change. This study brings new data to the areas of game research... Covid-19 is a highly contagious potentially life-threatening disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The virus is responsible for a global pandemic and has claimed over 6 million human lives between years 2020 and 2022. To limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2, numerous vaccines have been developed and applied. For already infected individuals, antiviral drugs are applied. An important validated target is the main protease of SARS-CoV-2 (Mpro ). Although thousands of inhibitors have been prepared and one is used in clinical practice (sold under the name of Paxlovid), improved computational protocols to design new active compounds are needed. The computational approach used here is based on pharmacophores. By curating and inspecting 298 structures of Mpro /inhibitors complexes retrieved from the Protein Data Bank (PDB), we have generated six distinct pharmacophores featuring different binding modes. With their aid, we have carried out molecular docking, whose effectiveness was evaluated by measuring root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) of the generated poses with respect to the native conformations. The routine captured 177 out of 213 ligands naturally binding to the active site of the protein with 127 (72% of the captured) generated with RMSD within 2 Å relative to the native conformation.... 7 Abstract The diploma thesis analyzes the relations and cooperation between civil, state and market sectors in the suburban region of Dolnobřežansko. The aim of the thesis is to describe the current state of cooperation between civil society organizations and the other two sectors in terms of its forms in a specific territorial unit. A partial goal is to understand how the subjects' motives for cooperation, or the expected benefit from it, are related to the choice of its specific form and how it is then managed for individual forms of cooperation. Forms of cross-sector collaboration and relations in the region are examined and categorized on the basis of two theoretical concepts, or typologies, according to cooperating entities. In the practical part of the thesis, a research investigation is carried out identifying the specific forms of cross-sector collaboration in the region, the motives of individual subjects on the basis of which they choose individual forms, as well as the way of managing mutual relations. Extent of the thesis The thesis is 92 standard pages in lenght. Key words Cross-sector collaboration, Dolnobřežansko region, civil society organisations, state sector, market sector 6 Abstrakt Diplomová práce analyzuje vztahy a spolupráci mezi sektory občanským, státním a tržním v suburbánním regionu Dolnobřežansko. Použití metod zobrazení mračna bodů pro ověření polohy kamery

2024 - English
Visual localization is the problem of estimating the 6 degrees of freedom camera pose from which a query image was taken relative to a known reference scene representation. It is the key for applications such as Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality, as well as autonomous robotics such as drones or self-driving cars. This thesis focuses on a visual localization pipeline, especially on its pose verification and reranking step. The pipeline uses 3D point clouds and 2D-3D correspondences be- tween the query image and 3D scene points for candidate camera poses estimations. The thesis explores point cloud rendering approaches as they are utilized in the pipeline and the verification step-the render of the discretized scene from a given candidate position is compared to the actual query image to asses if the given couple depicts the same place. One of the main challenges of such rendering is occlusion handling. Due to the sparsity of points employed for otherwise continuous real world representation, information about what lies in the front and what is hidden can be easily lost when projected to the 2D image. Rendering approaches explored in this thesis focus on the challenge directly or as a component of a novel view synthesis DNN-based renderer. Rendering influence on localization performance is investigated. This thesis addresses the challenge of social group detection in crowds, presenting an algorithm informed by sociological insights into common group formations among pedestrians. Our proposed algorithm demonstrates comparable performance to existing solutions - Time-sequence DBSCAN and Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering with Hausdorff Distance, using the DIAMOR dataset for testing and comparison. Additionally, we introduce a validator tool potentially capable of refining results from existing algorithms based on a group shape criterion, leading to improved accuracy in identifying groups. Navrhovaný algoritmus prokazuje srovnatelnou úspěšnost s existujícími řešeními - Time-sequence DBSCAN a Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering, s využitím datasetu DIAMOR pro testování a porovnání. 2024 - English
The process of setting material properties for realistic appearance after rendering is usually tiresome and often requires carefully crafted skill for fine-tuning the parameters, as different combinations of these parameters can produce different-looking materials. To simplify this process, we introduce a solution to the texture transfer problem by creating a pipeline containing several deep neural networks. These networks subsequently represent solutions to inverse rendering and material segmentation by predicting intrinsic scene characteristics, like diffuse and specular albedo, surface normals, glossiness, view vector, texture coordinates, and segmentation, all from a single image. Artists can subsequently plug these inferenced properties inside their 3D scene representations and thus reduce the time needed to iterate over several design ideas. To train these networks, we generated high-quality dataset of substantial size using physically-based techniques to ensure good generalization on real-world images. 1 Proces nastavování vlastností materiálu pro realistický vzhled po vyrenderování je obvykle únavný a často vyžaduje pečlivě nadobudnutou zručnost pro jemné doladění parametrů, protože různé kombinace těchto parametrů mohou produkovat různě vy- padající materiály. Pro zjednodušení tohoto procesu představujeme řešení problému přenosu textur vytvořením nástroje obsahujícího několik hlubokých neuronových sítí. Tyto sítě následně představují řešení pro inverzní renderování a segmentaci materiálu předpovídáním vnitřních charakteristik scény, jako je difuzní a lesklé albedo, povrchové normály, lesk, pohledový vektor, texturové souřadnice a segmentace, toto vše z jednoho snímku. Umělci mohou následně použít tyto odvozené vlastnosti ve svých reprezentací 3D scény a zkrátit tak čas potřebný k iteraci několika nápadů návrhů. Abychom tyto sítě trénovali, vygenerovali jsme vysoce kvalitní datovou sadu značné velikosti pomocí fyzicky založených technik, abychom zajistili dobrou generalizaci na obrázky z reálného světa. 1 Keywords: strojové učení|hluboké učení|počítačová grafika|inverzní renderování|segmentace materiálů|rozpoznávání materiálů; machine learning|deep learning|computer graphics|inverse rendering|material segmentation|material recognition Available in a digital repository NRGL

This thesis seeks to describe the development and theoretical anchoring of the concept of the human rights-based approach (HRBA) in the context of development cooperation and to examine how it is taken into account by Czech NGOs. The theoretical part focuses in particular on the still controversial issues related to the universalism and cultural relativism of human rights, as well as their mostly individualistic nature. Then, the gradual penetration of human rights into international development discourse and the role and specifics of development NGOs are described in more detail. The thesis presents theoretical insights and concrete examples of the application of the human rights-based approach by NGOs. Critical perspectives and problematic implications associated with its application by NGOs are also discussed. In the Czech environment, the implementation of the HRBA is examined through a case study of two prominent NGOs. Práce předkládá teoretické poznatky a konkrétní příklady aplikace lidskoprávního přístupu neziskovými organizacemi. Sentence representations - embeddings - obtained from neural network models are the core part of many applications in both academia and industry. Although embeddings reach great results in correlation with human sense of sentence similarity, there is often a lack of explanation for why models choose sentences to be similar. In this thesis, we strive to increase the interpretability of model embeddings by incorporating different semantic sentence level annotations in the learning process. We introduce a model called SBERTslice that produces embeddings that can distinguish nuanced semantic variations in text, including elements like negation, sentiment, named entities, emotional tone, and verb-oriented relation between words in a text. We evaluated SBERTslice embeddings in various text classification and semantic sim- ilarity tasks and for a majority of them, SBERTslice outperformed the original SBERT. 1 Větné reprezentace - tzv. embeddingy, získané z modelů neuronových sítí, tvoří jádro mnoha aplikací jak v akademickém prostředí, tak v průmyslu. Otestovali jsme embeddingy generované modelem SBERTslice v určování sémantické podobnosti vět a klasifikaci textu, kde SBERTslice ve většině případů překonal původní model SBERT. 1 Keywords: neuronové sítě|větné embeddingy; neural networks|sentence embeddings Available in a digital repository NRGL
