PhD thesis is focused on a problematic of full suspension bicycles. In the analytic part there is thoroughly described currently most used rear wheel suspension systems together with the analysis of its essential characteristics. The main part of the thesis is to create on own approach to build a dynamic model of the system rider - bicycle. Based on the evaluation of different positions of the rider, the optimized position with the lowest energy level is set. Práce je zaměřena na problematiku jízdního celo-odpruženého kola. V analytické části jsou důkladně popsány v současnosti nejvíce používané systémy zavěšení zadního kola spolu s rozborem základních vlastností. Je zavedena metoda analýzy charakteru odpružení pomocí výpočtu převodového poměru na tlumicí a pružicí jednotku

Vliv elektrických veličin na Biefeld-Brownův efekt

The thesis deals with the teoretical and experimental examination of the influence of electrical parametrs on the Biefeld-brown effect. In the first part the Biefeld-Brown effect is defined, recent publications dealing with this phenomenon are discused and some basic facts and starting points which are crucial for the work are summarized. In the main section the measurement method as well as the basic type of the capacitor with asymmetrical electrodes the element are described. The physical principle of the phenomenon is stated and later verified with a series of experiments. Physical formulae describing the force F with respect to the current I, current-voltage characteristics (i.e. I(U)) and also the formula for the force F with respect to the current I in the case of alternating current are derived and verified. The conclusion contains the summarization of the entire research and the possibility of further study of the phenomenon is outlined. Práce se zabývá teoretickým i experimentálním zkoumáním vlivu elektrických veličin na Biefeld-Brownův efekt. V rešerši je definován Biefeld-Brownův efekt, jsou diskutovány aktuální publikace k dané problematice a jsou shrnuty základní pojmy a nutná východiska, která jsou pro tuto práci klíčové. Ve stati je popsána metoda měření, konstrukce základního typu kondenzátoru s asymetrickými elektrodami-tzv. element, je uveden fyzikální princip zkoumaného jevu, který je ověřen sériií experimentů. Dále jsou odvozeny a verifikovány vztahy pro vznikající sílu F vzhledem k procházejícímu proudu I, voltampérová charakteristika, tedy funkční závislost I(U) a také vztah pro velikost síly F vzhledem k procházejícímu proudu I v případě střídavého napájení. Závěr práce obsahuje shrnutí celého výzkumu a je nastíněna možnost dalšího zkoumání v této oblasti.

Vliv výzkumných center na vybrané podniky zpracovatelského průmyslu

The dissertation deals with the current all-society subject of research and development. It is analyzed the contemporary state of promoting applied research, development and innovation, including the outlook for the future. There are characterized forms of supporting research and development and possibilities of their use by both parties - research centers and companies representing manufacturing industry. Detailed attention is given to the newly established regional research centers, which should contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of industrial companies and from the overall economic perspective also that of the Czech Republic as a whole. The aim of this dissertation study was to determine the influence and the level of awareness of industrial companies from manufacturing industry on emerging research centers and to find out the extent to which new research centers can affect the economic performance of entrepreneurial subjects of manufacturing industry under the current economic and social situation. With the questionnaire have been asked the manufacturing companies, with the personal interviews the research centers. The results and conclusion of both researches are main outputs of the dissertation. Práce se zabývá aktuálním celospolečenským tématem výzkumu a vývoje. Analyzován je současný stav podpory aplikovaného výzkumu, vývoje a inovací včetně výhledu do budoucna. Charakterizovány jsou formy podpory výzkumu a vývoje a možnosti jejich využití jak výzkumnými centry, tak podniky zpracovatelského průmyslu. Detailní analýza je věnována nově vzniklým regionálním výzkumným centrům, která mají přispět k posílení konkurenceschopnosti průmyslových podniků a z ekonomického hlediska i celé ČR. Cílem práce bylo zjistit vliv a úroveň podvědomí průmyslových podniků zpracovatelského průmyslu o nově vznikajících výzkumných centrech a stanovit, do jaké míry mohou nová výzkumná centra, za stávající ekonomické a společenské situace, ovlivnit hospodářskou vákonnost podnikatelských subjektů zpracovatelského průmyslu, formou osobních rozhovorů/dotazování vázkumná centra. Výsledky a závěry těchto obsáhlých šetření jsou stěžejním výstupem práce.

Hodnocení parametrů integrity povrchu a využití poznatků pro zefektivnění obrábění ozubených kol

The PhD thesis deals with non-destructive evaluation of the technological conditions influence during the continuous generating gears grinding process on the parameters of surface integrity by Barkhausen noise analysis and b y X-ray diffraction method. Both methods were compared in terms of depth profiles of surface integrity parameters. The analysis results are used for more effective gears mechining. The methodology presented in this work is useful for solving the similar problems in industrial environment. Práce se zabývá nedestruktivním hodnocením vlivu technologických podmínek při kontinuálním odvalovacím broušení ozubených kol na parametry integrity povrchu metodou analýzy Barkhasenova šumu (magnetoelastický parametr) a metodou rentgenové difrakce (zbytková napětí). Obě metody byly porovnány z hlediska hloubkových profilů hodnocených veličin. Výsledky analýz jsou využity pro zefektivnění obrábění ozubených kol a metodika uvedená v rámci této práce je využitelná pro řešení podobných problémů v průmyslových podmínkách.

The dissertation deals with the issue of corporate capital structure and sources of business financing in the Czech Republic. The objectives of the thesis are defined in the first chapter. The main objective of the thesis lies in the general determination of industry standards for corporate indebtedness in the Czech Republic. The proposal is based on the complex assessment and quantification of sources of business financing in the Czech Republic, identification of corporate capital structure determinants, trend analysis, and detection of selected sources potential. The importance of the capital structure lies in its close connection with the company's profitability, business financial risk and financial flexibility. The second chapter is devoted to theoretical approaches to the capital structure. The basic concepts associated with the company and its financial management are defined within the following chapter. The special attention was paid to the analysis of capital structure determinants. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the definition and characterization of the possible sources of business financing from the two points of view: accounting and finance. The fifth chapter presents the results of several partial empirical investigations, by means of which the industry standards for corporate debt ratio were designed, whereby the main goal and the sub-objectives were achieved. The dissertation conclusion contains the summary of research findings and the testing of research statements. Práce se zabývá problematikou kapitálové struktury a zdrojů financování podniků v ČR. Cíle práce jsou definovány v první kapitole. Hlavní cíl práce spočívá ve stanovení obecného návrhu odvětvových standarců zadluženosti podniků v ČR. Návrh je založen na komplexním zhodnocením a kvantifikaci zdrpojů financování využívaných podnikatelskými subjekty v ČR, identifikaci determinant kapitálové struktury, analýze trendů a odhalení potencionálu vybraných zdrojů financování. Důležitost kapitálové struktury spočívá v její úzké vazbě na rentabilitu podniku, finanční riziko podnikání a finanční volnost podniku. Druhá kapitola práce se věnuje teoretickým přístupům ke kapitálové struktuře. V rámci následující kapitoly se věnuje teoretickým přístupům ke kapitálové struktuře. V rámci následující kapitoly jsou definovány základní pojmy související s podnikem a jeho finančním řízením. Podrobně jsou analyzovány zejména determinanty kapitálové struktury. Úkolem následující čtvrté kapitoly je vymezit a charakterizovat jednotlivé zdroje financování z pohledu účetního a finančního. V rámci páté kapitoly jsou představeny výsledky dílčích empirických zkoumání, za pomocí nichž byly navrženy odvětvové standardy celkové zadluženosti podniku, čímž byl naplněn hlavní cíl práce i ujednotlivé dílčí cíle. Závěr práce obsahuje shrnutí výzkumných poznatků a testování stanovených tvrzení.

The process of consequences modelling of an environmental impact on public health combines technical approaches of nature sciences with humanistic disciplines and creates new dimensions for interdisciplinary oriented scientific projects with practically applicable outcomes for policy makers. The presented dissertation thesis is focused on the methodology of the interconnection of partial results from final phase of the integrated environmentally related health risk assessment process with the respect to specific methodological conventions of the involved scientific disciplines. The further extension of the consequences and their advance into the main socioeconomic categories allow every single stakeholder to express their own share on the loss caused by the changes in the environmental conditions. The currently practised methodologies of integrated environmentally related health risk assessment are rapidly advancing on the international level and thus omitting important local and national system settings, especially settings of health care and social systems represented by socioeconomic categories of consequences. These national-based categories are crucial for responsible and factual public health related decisions of local and national authorities and other involved subjects. The main emphasis of this Thesis is the proposition of methodological procedure based on extensive analysis of current valuation and assessment approaches of health related consequences for the final part of the process of integrated risk assessment. Through the mathematical and statistical tools, the proposed concept for contemporary methodological recommendations allows a united approach for modelling outcomes within the socioeconomic categories as it is presently demanded by the involved stakeholders and public authorities. The methodological process of algorithm development is based on the WHO recommendations and considers the international trends within the healthcare and socioeconomic statistics and informatics. The exemplary implementation of the proposed algorithm for the methods of assessment and the process of its application is presented through the original case studies related to the impact of ionizing radiation and air pollution on public health.

Aerodynamická optimalizace hnací trysky ejektoru

This dissertation gathers results and methods of optimization of air-ejector supersonic primary nozzle. New opltimization algorithm exploiting methods of computational fluid dynamics and evolutionary algorithms was developed. New results and knowledge about the new algorithm and optimal driving nozzle parameters are gathered and conclusions formulated. Práce shrnuje výsledky a postupy optimalizace nadzvukové hnací trysky vzduchového ejektoru provedené s cílem maximalizovat termodynamickou účinnost celého zařízení. Za účelem optimalizace byl navržen nový algoritmus, který využívá výpočetní mechaniky tekutin a evolučních algoritmů.

Interakce nanoželeza s těžkými kovy a jejich využití v sanačních technologiích

The dissertation focuses on the study of the interaction of zero-valent nanoiron with toxic contaminants, chromium and arsenic, and their use in remediational practice. In the case of chromium were tested in a laboratory conditions model of water and groundwater from contaminated sites PERMON Křivoklát and TRW Jablonec. The ability of nanoparticles to immobilize chromium was examined from the perspective of mobility in rocks, optimal dosage and the effect of pH on the effectiveness of the remediation process. The rate of aging and loss of activity of nanoparticles was also monitored. In the immobilization of arsenic was beside the basic characteristics of the process assessed the effect of coprecipitation of selected ions on the progress of the remediation process and benefits of any application of nanoparticles in comparison with existing methods of processing contaminated water to the mine site Kaňk in Kutná Hora and in industrial areas Břeclav-Poštorná. Práce je zaměřena na studium interakcí nanočástic elementárního železa s toxickými kontaminanty, chrómem a arzenem, a možnosti jejich využití v sanační praxi. V případě chrómu byly v laboratorních podmínkách testovány modelové vody i podzemní vody z kontaminovaných lokalit PERMON Křivoklát a TRW Jablonec. Schopnost nanočástic imobilizovat chroóm byla prověřována z pohledu mobility v horninovém prostředí, optimálního dávkování, vlivu pH na účinnost sanačního procesu, sledována byla také rychlost stárnutí a ztráta aktivity nanočástic. V oblasti imobilizace arzenu byl vedle základních charakteristik procesu posuzován vliv koprecipitace vybraných iontů na průběh sanačního procesu a přínosy případné aplikace nanočástic ve srovnání se stávajícími způsoby zpracování kontaminovaných vod na důlní lokalitě Kaňk u Kutné Hory a v průmyslové oblasti Břeclav-Poštorná.

This thesis is devoted to a piezoelectric and dielectric studies of ferroelectric semiconductors of Sn2P2(SexS1-x)6 crystal family and their phase transitions due to an interesting physical properties and strong piezoelectric and pyroelectric effect. For further measurements crystals with different concentration of selenium were used. A special study is devoted to a frequency, temperature and pressure investigations of the dielectric and piezoelectric properties, also the electrical resistance measurements and their behavior in the vicinity of the phase transition point.

The fundamental framework of this dissertation thesis is defined by two concepts, the potential of a business enterprise and internationalization, which are examined in relation to each another. The aim of the dissertation is to design a model of internationalization of the potential of a business enterprise based on the model of its potential, the use of which will contribute to determine the structure and level of internationalization potential of the company. The level of internationalization is determined in the model by the indicator of the level of internationalization of the company. Thus the thesis uses the model to create a new and comprehensive picture of the potential of the company and its internationalization and supports the view of internationalization as a major area of a business enterprise, the use of which, or rather the use of its potential, should demonstrably lead to increasing competitiveness and thus to the performance of the company. By its approach the dissertation ranks among the major supporters of the positive impact of internationalization on a company performance. Cílem práce je vytvoření modelu internacionalizace potencionálu podniku, založeného na modelu potencionálu podniku. Ta je v modelu určena ukazatelem úrovně internacionalizace potencionálu podniku. Práce tedy vytváří určitý nový a ucelený obraz potencionálu podniku a jeho internacionalizace pomocí modelu a podporuje pohled na internacionalizaci jako na významnou oblast podniku, jejíž využití, lépe řečeno využití jejího potencionálu, by mělo prokazatelně vést ke zvyšování konkurenceschopnosti a tím i výkonnosti podniku. Práce se tak svým přísupem řadí k významné skupině zastánců pozitivního vlivu internacionalizace na vákonnost podniku.
