Übersetzung und Analyse ausgewählter Texte aus dem Gebiet der Soziologie

Cílem této diplomové práce je překlad a analýza vědeckého textu z oblasti sociologie. V teoretické části práce jsou nastíněny základní pojmy teorie překladu, role překladatele, překladatelské typy a metody, které jsou pro zhotovení překladu důležité. V neposlední řadě jsou zkoumány charakteristické rysy odborného stylu jak ve zdrojovém jazyce (němčina), tak kontrastivně i v jazyce cílovém (čeština). Část praktická sestává především ze samotného překladu delšího textu z oblasti sociologie, který dosud v češtině nevyšel, a analýzy překladu, která upozorňuje na různá úskalí při překladatelské práci s odborným jazykem, komentuje problematická místa z pohledu lexikální a morfosyntaktické roviny a navrhuje různé způsobu jejich řešení. Součástí práce je rovněž německo-český glosář složený z odborných sociologických termínů a výrazů, které jsou pro text stěžejní. The aim of this thesis is the translation and analysis of a scientific text in the field of sociology. The theoretical part of the thesis outlines the basic concepts of translation theory, the role of the translator, translation types and methods that are important for the production of a translation. Last but not least, the characteristic features of professional style in the source language (German) and, contrastively, in the target language (Czech) are examined. The practical part consists mainly of the actual translation of a longer text in the field of sociology, which has not yet been published in Czech, and an analysis of the translation, which points out various problems in translation work with specialized language, comments on problematic areas from the perspective of lexical and morphosyntactic level and suggests various ways of solving them. The work also includes a German-Czech glossary consisting of professional sociological terms and expressions that are central for the text.

The presented diploma theses is focused on historical linguistics analysis of 32 archival documents written in German language which are related to the Fugger family and their activities in the Czech Lands in 1529-1691. The historical oriented introduction presents the situation in the Czech Lands in the 16th and 17th centuries, Fugger family and development of offices. The second part is focused on linguistics and describes the advancement of office languages and historical context. The textological analysis oriented on macrostructure of the text and selected aspects of the language leads to the determination of text types, classes, kinds, and functions. The performed study contributes to the investigation of German offices language in the given time period and simultaneously opens the possibility of linguistic and historical research. Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá historiolingvistickou analýzou 32 německy psaných archivních pramenů tematicky svázaných s rodinou Fuggerů a jejími aktivitami v českých zemích pocházejících z let 1529-1691. Historicky zaměřený úvod práce seznamuje s poměry v českých zemích v 16. a 17. století, rodinou Fuggerů a s rozvojem kanceláří. Lingvisticky orientovaná druhá část práce zasazuje vývoj kancelářských jazyků do historického kontextu. Textologická analýza zaměřená na makrostrukturu textu a na vybrané jazykové prvky umožnila určení textových typů, tříd, druhů a funkcí. Provedená analýza přispívá ke studiu německého jazyka kanceláří v daném období a zároveň zpřístupňuje doposud netransliterované archivní materiály k dalšímu lingvistickému i historickému výzkumu.

Vypořádání se s násilím národního socialismu třetí a druhé generace na příkladech koncentračního tábora Neuengamme a Cap Arcony

This Thesis deals with the issues of violence in relation to the time of National Socialism of the second and third Generation of the survivors illustrated by the examples of the sinking of the Cap Arcona and the Neuengamme concentration camp. The main source are the Interviews with the families of the Czech survivors from Cap Arcona and Neuengamme Concentration Camp and an interview with the main management of Neuengamme monument. The approaches from the experts to the transgenerational transmission of trauma will be discussed in the theoretical part the and they will be also analyzed and evaluated. Práce se zabývá tím, jak se s násilím nacionálního socialismu vypořádává třetí a druhá generace potomků přeživších na příkladech koncentračního tábora Neuengamme a potopení lodi Cap Arcona. Po teoretickém úvodu na základě předložené literatury, která se zabývá rámcem veřejného vzpomínání, stojí v centru vzpomínání napříč rodinami na příkladech autorkou uskutečněných rozhovorů s vybranými členy rodin obětí druhé a třetí generace a rozhovoru jak s památníkem Neuengamme, jak vypadá jejich konkrétní vzpomínková práce v tomto směru. Pro vyhodnocení výsledků se bude vycházet z konceptu transgeneračního přenosu. Závěr práce bude zaměřen na diskusi možností a hranic předložených pracovních postupů s pozadím předložených teoretických konceptů.

Předmětem práce je analýza mediální prezentace událostí revolučního roku 1989 v Německu a bývalém Československu. Cílem je zjistit, jak česká média pojednávají o současné situaci vNěmecku sohledem na historický kontext, kterými tématy se v souvislosti s revolucí v roce 1989 zabývají, a do jaké míry spojují podobu dnešního Německa s vlivem, který na něj měl výsledek studené války, tedy revoluce, která byla završena pádem zdi. Analogicky k této studii bude ve stejném smyslu zkoumána německá mediální scéna a její pohled na aktuální dějství v České republice. Hlavní aspekty výzkumu tvoří sektory politické, společenské a ekonomické. K celistvému výkladu patří úvod do historického kontextu, v závěrečné části je mimo krátkou úvahu autorky o zjištěných poznatcích k dispozici stručná deskripce použitých médií, která má zaručit kompaktní charakter diplomové práce. This thesis aims to analyze how the media presented events during the 1989 revolutions in Germany and former Czechoslovakia, as well as the influence that these events maintain on present-day media. The first objective is to offer a historical contextualization for interpreting how the Czech media report on current events in Germany. This includes which topics surrounding the 1989 revolution are addressed by the Czech media, and to which degree they posit the role of the Cold War, concluded by the fall of the Berlin Wall, on shaping the current state of Germany. Furthermore, the second objective is to evaluate how the German media perceive these historical events and how that perception influences the interpretation of current situations in the Czech Republic. This research mainly considers political, social and economic aspects. To ensure a comprehensive monograph, an introduction into the historical context as well as a brief description of relevant media sources is included. The thesis is concluded with a short reflection essay.

Paul Yorck von Wartenburgs Auffassung von Geschichtlichkeit Abstract The aim of this research is to examine the conception of historicity [Geschichtlichkeit] of the count Paul Yorck von Wartenburg - who is perhaps better known for his friendship with Wilhelm Dilthey. The recuperation and investigation of Yorck's arguments takes place in the context of his rejection of metaphysical and positivist models as well as from his constant intellectual exchange with Dilthey. The focus of the present analysis is Yorck's concept of person, strongly influenced by Christian doctrine, as well as his psychology of history: here we will identify how the author understands historical reality and the dependency between attitudes of consciousness [Bewusstseinsstellungen] and the context of life. Adjacent concepts ofYorck's conception of historicity, such as syndesmos (historical connection between people), "aliveness" or life [Lebendigkeit], totality [Totalität] and the human being in its entirety [Ganzer Mensch], are also examined in order to better understand Yorck's notion of historicity and its divergences to Dilthey's approach to the humanities. Paul Yorck von Wartenburgs Auffassung von Geschichtlichkeit Zusammenfassung Ziel dieser Forschung ist es, die Auffassung von Geschichtlichkeit des Grafen Paul Yorck von Wartenburg - wahrscheinlich hauptsächlich wegen seiner Freundschaft mit Wilhelm Dilthey bekannt - zu untersuchen. Die Wiederherstellung und Untersuchung von Yorcks Argumenten erfolgt aus seiner Ablehnung metaphysischer und positivistischer Modelle sowie aus seinem ständigen intellektuellen Austausch mit Dilthey. Im Mittelpunkt dieser Analyse steht der von Yorck angewandte Personenbegriff, der stark von der christlichen Lehre beeinflusst wurde, sowie seine Psychologie der Geschichte: hier werden wir identifizieren, wie der Autor die historische Realität und die Abhängigkeit zwischen Bewusstseinsstellungen und Lebenszusammenhang versteht. of thesis titled: Fichte's Transcendental Approach to Being 1801-02 submitted by Leonard Ip for the degree of Master of Arts in Philosophie in the programme Erasmus Mundus Master EuroPhilosophie, July 2021 This paper attempts to reconstruct the development of the problem of being within the framework of Fichte's Wissenschaftslehre after 1800 in its initial approach. Textually, it deals mainly with the Darstellung der Wissenschaftslehre from 1801/02. This text is considered the main document with which Fichte's so-called "late philosophy" begins after the first "Jena" period of his philosophising. The main result of the reconstruction presented is the demonstration of a "positive" concept of being, which goes beyond the concept of being explicitly determined as "negative" in Fichte's Jena Wissenschaftslehre and is defined in the Darstellung as "absolute being". In order to show that the positive concept of being is both demanded and legitimised on the basis of the Wissenschaftslehre as transcendental idealism, the reconstruction of this concept is carried out through an analysis of the first part of the Darstellung, i.e. the theory of absolute knowledge. A.) in Philosophie im Studiengang Erasmus Mundus Master EuroPhilosophie, Juli 2021 Diese Arbeit legt den Versuch vor, die Entwicklung der Seinsproblematik im Rahmen von Fichtes Wissenschaftslehre nach dem Jahr 1800 in ihrem anfänglichen Ansatz zu rekonstruieren. Textuell setzt sie sich hauptsächlich mit der Darstellung der Wissenschaftslehre aus den Jahren 1801/02 auseinander. English abstract: "The wealth of nothingness - On the (im)possibility of metaphysics in Adorno and Beckett": The subject of this paper is Theodor W. Adorno's reception of Samuel Beckett and its embedding in his philosophy. Based on an interpretation of Adorno's treatment of the problem of temporality, it is shown that for Adorno Beckett's work both marks the end of time in a bad infinity and at the same time prepares the turn into a fulfilled time. As the opening of a quasi- utopian temporality, it is argued that the engagement with Beckett represents for Adorno as much as the rescue of the possibility of metaphysics and critical theory through its impossibility, moving in the semantics of gift, promise, and gratitude. Keywords: dialectics, temporality, metaphysics, gift, utopia German abstract: "Die Fülle des Nichts - Zur (Un)möglichkeit der Metaphysik bei Adorno und Beckett": Gegenstand dieser Arbeit ist die Rezeption Samuel Becketts durch Theodor W. Adorno und ihre Einbettung in dessen Philosophie. Ausgehend von einer Interpretation von Adornos Behandlung des Problems der Zeitlichkeit wird gezeigt, dass für Adorno Becketts Werk sowohl das Ende der Zeit in einer schlechten Unendlichkeit markiert und zugleich den Umschlag in eine erfüllte Zeit vorbereitet. Als Eröffnung einer quasi-utopischen Zeitlichkeit wird argumentiert, dass die Auseinandersetzung mit Beckett für Adorno soviel darstellt wie die Rettung der Möglichkeit der Metaphysik und der Kritischen Theorie durch ihre Unmöglichkeit hindurch, die sich in der Semantik von Gabe, Versprechen und Dank bewegt. This thesis forms, in the first instance, a critical examination of labor in relation to the notion of self-realization following Hegelian and Marxian philosophy and their theories of action. In the second instance, it is a preliminary study of the concept of fomo (fear of missing out), which will be explored in more detail in the PhD based on the MA. In the first section, a critique of Andreas Reckwitz's and Hartmut Rosa's notions of self-realization is used to present the common view and contemporary engagements with said notion as relevant but insufficient. Both authors act as a proxy for a deficiency that turns out to be an all too great distance from metaphysical and historical-materialist positions and considerations regarding such notion as that of self-realization. Thus, in the main part, not only an attempt is made, by means of a renaissance of Hegelian and Marxian reflections on the concept of self-realization, to plausibilize and remedy this deficiency; moreover, by virtue of a detailed exegesis of their theories of action and examination of their categories, it is pointed out, above all, that Hegelian and Marxian philosophy intends the complete abolition of self-preservation (d. i. alienated and natural labor) and elevation into self-realization, even if both thinkers use the... Zusammenfassung: Die vorliegende These bildet in erster Instanz eine arbeitskritische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Begriff der Selbstverwirklichung im Ausgang der Hegelschen und Marxschen Philosophie und Handlungstheorie. In zweiter Instanz ist sie eine Vorstudie zum Begriff der Verpassungsangst/ fomo, der im PhD auf Grundlage der MA näher untersucht werden soll. Im ersten Abschnitt wird anhand einer Kritik der Selbstverwirklichungsbegriffe von Andreas Reckwitz und Hartmut Rosa die gängige Ansicht und zeitgenössische Auseinandersetzungen mit besagtem Begriff als zwar relevant aber unzureichend dargestellt. Beide Autoren fungieren als Stell- vertreter eines Mangels, der sich als allzu große Distanz zu metaphysischen und historisch- materialistischen Positionen und Überlegungen in Bezug auf solche Begriff wie den der Selbstverwirklichung entpuppt. Im Hauptteil wird also nicht nur versucht, behufs einer Renaissance der Hegelschen und Marxschen Überlegungen zum Begriff der Selbstver- wirklichung, diesen Mangel zu plausibilisieren und zu beheben, darüber hinaus wird kraft einer ausführlichen Exegese ihrer Handlungstheorien und Prüfung ihrer Kategorien vor allem darauf hingewiesen, dass die Hegelsche und Marxsche Philosophie die vollständige Aufhebung der Selbsterhaltung (d.i. entfremdete und naturnotwendige...

Literární reflexe židovského povstání během holokaustu na příkladu děl Ernsta Sommera a Maxe Zweiga

The purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyse the works Ghetto Warschau by Max Zweig and Revolte der Heiligen by Ernst Sommer. The thematic focus of the thesis is the Warsaw ghetto uprising. The thesis aims to present a systematic analysis and subsequent comparison of both works, with emphasis on the issue of religion. It tries to find out how Judaism together with the inconsistent approach of the Jews to the Jewish faith influenced the approach of the Jews to the revolt in the studied works. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter presents the history and principles of the Jewish religion as well as the history of the Jewish population. The second chapter focuses on the history of the Jewish population in Polish territory, also on the period of World War II and the emergence of ghettos, including the Warsaw ghetto. The next chapter presents both authors' biographies and works, with particular emphasis on common aspects of their work and life. The fourth chapter deals with the analysis itself. The conclusion of the diploma thesis contains a summary of the analysis and answers research questions. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou děl Ghetto Warschau od Maxe Zweiga a Revolte der Heiligen od Ernsta Sommera. Tematické těžiště práce tvoří povstání ve varšavském ghettu. Práce si klade za cíl předložit systematickou analýzu a následnou komparaci obou děl, přičemž důraz bude kladen zejména na problematiku náboženství. Také se snaží zjistit, jak židovské náboženství spolu s nejednotným přístupem Židů k židovské víře ovlivnilo přístup Židů k revoltě ve zkoumaných dílech. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. V první kapitole je představena historie a principy židovského náboženství a taktéž historie židovského obyvatelstva. Druhá kapitola se soustředí na historii židovského obyvatelstva na polském území, také na období 2. světové války a vznik ghett, mj. ghetta varšavského. V další kapitole jsou představeny také životopisy a díla obou autorů, důraz je kladen zejména na společné aspekty jejich tvorby i života. Čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá samotnou analýzou. Závěr diplomové práce obsahuje shrnutí analýzy a odpovědi na výzkumné otázky.

"Hledání ženské identity". Filosofická a literárněvědná příkladová studie způsobu podání ženské sebeidentifikace v západoevropské a postsovětské literatuře

This work has been given the title "The Search for Female Identity" because its core question is: what constitutes female self-identification? This search is carried out by searching literary traces, since self-identification can be deconstructed by analyzing the texts. Texts by an Austrian and a Soviet-Russian writer were chosen as the basis for this deconstruction. In a comparison of their two writings, the difference between the two socio-political systems in terms of their possible influence on self-identification could also be crystallized. The theories used (mainly poststructuralist) together with the interpretations help to extract the pre-discursive nature of the texts and to decipher the image of femininity. The analysis carried out showed that in both societies this picture is full of myths, however, they were developed and implemented differently. In the course of this development the individualistic Western culture encounters the limits of its individuality, which also affects women and influences their unity in themselves. Meanwhile, the post-Soviet society striving for all-round collectivism fails to control the construction of identity, since it does not offer enough playground for self-determination and overwhelms especially women with the imposed standards. Key words: female... Zusammenfassung Diese Arbeit hat den Titel "Die Suche nach weiblicher Identität" bekommen, weil ihre Kernfrage was macht die weibliche Selbstidentifikation aus? ist. Diese Suche erfolgt durch eine Verfolgung literarischer Spuren, da die Selbstidentifikation anhand der Analyse der Texte dekonstruiert werden kann. Als Basis für diese Dekonstruktion wurden Texte von einer österreichischen und einer sowjetisch-russischen Schriftstellerin ausgewählt. Im Vergleich ihrer beider Schreibweisen konnte auch der Unterschied, der beide sozial-politischen Systeme in Bezug auf ihren möglichen Einfluss auf die Selbstidentifikation kennzeichnet, kristallisiert werden. Die verwendeten (hauptsächlich poststrukturalistischen) Theorien mitsamt den Interpretationen helfen das vordiskursive Wesen der Texte herauszuholen und das Bild der Weiblichkeit zu entziffern. Die durchgeführte Analyse hat gezeigt, dass in beiden Gesellschaften dieses Bild voll von Mythen ist, diese jedoch unterschiedlich entwickelt und umgesetzt wurden. Im Laufe dieser Entwicklung stößt aber die individualistisch geprägte westliche Kultur auf die Grenzen ihrer Individualität, was auch Frauen betrifft und ihre Geschlossenheit in sich beeinflusst.
