Mikrobiální dysbióza indukovaná opioidy

2023 - Slovak The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the consequences of opioids in relation to the gut microbiome. Chronic opioid use induces microbial dysbiosis in the gut, where both functional and structural changes in the composition of the microbiome occur. This disrupts gut homeostasis and leads to diseases. The diversity of microbial organisms decreases and the expression of neurotransmitters changes. Opioids interfere with the microbiomeň-gut-brain axis, which normally functions in symbiosis. They alter the composition of the gut microbiota, affect the function and structure of the gut epithelium and the expression of neurotransmitters in the nervous system. This thesis focuses primarily on the action of morphine, the action of which has been desribed the most. Chronické užívanie opioidov vyvoláva v čreve mikrobiálnu dysbiózu, kedy nastáva funkčná aj štruktúrna zmena skladby mikrobiómu. To narúša črevnú homeostázu a vedie k vzniku ochorení. Diverzita mikrobiálnych organizmov klesá a mení sa expresia neurotransmitérov. Opioidy narúšajú na osu mikrobióm-črevo-mozog, ktorá za normálnych okolností funguje v symbióze. Menia zloženie črevných mikrobiot, ovplyvňujú funkciu a štruktúru epitelu čreva a expresiu neurotransmitérov v nervovej sústave. Práca sa zameriava predovšetkým na pôsobenie morfia, ktorého pôsobenie je najlepšie preskúmané. Aproximace rozdělení úhrnů škod

2023 - Slovak This thesis is focused on the approximation of the distribution of aggregate losses. We first present a method for modelling aggregate losses, which involves selecting an appropriate frequency and severity distributions. Next, the computation of aggregate losses as the sum of the respective number of individual losses is explained. In the sec- ond section, we discuss the approximation of the distribution of the simulated aggregate losses. We present the distributions chosen for the approximation, the method for esti- mating the parameters of these distributions, and the subsequent testing of fit of these distributions with the actual distribution of the simulated aggregate losses. In the third chapter we show the results of this approximation and indicate the suitability of using each of the considered distributions for modelling aggregate losses. In the last section, we introduce the Edgeworth approximation as a method for approximating the distribution of aggregate losses. 1 Táto práca sa zaoberá aproximáciou rozdelenia úhrnov škôd. Najprv predstavíme po- stup modelovania úhrnov škôd, ktorý zahŕňa výber vhodného rozdelenia počtov a výšok škôd. Ako ďalšie je vysvetlený výpočet úhrnov škôd ako súčtu príslušného počtu jednot- livých škôd. V druhej kapitole rozoberieme aproximáciu rozdelenia simulovaných úhrnov škôd. Uvedieme rozdelenia zvolené pre aproximáciu, metódu odhadu parametrov týchto rozdelení a následné testovanie zhody týchto rozdelení so skutočným rozdelením simu- lovaných úhrnov škôd. V tretej kapitole zobrazíme výsledky tejto aproximácie a uvedi- eme vhodnosť použitia jednotlivých uvažovaných rozdelení na modelovanie úhrnov škôd. Odhady parametrů latentního rozdělení pro ordinální data

2023 - Slovak The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to introduce problematics of ordinal data together with estimations of latent density distribution based on ordinal data. The esti- mations obtained using ordinal data are compared to the ones that are more common and used on daily basis. The reader will be introduced to the maximum likelihood method that is used in the development of each estimate. One chapter is dedicated to alterna- tive approach using Bernstein polynomials. When we take all benefits into account such as easier collecting the data in ordinal form or minimization of possible errors committed by respondent, we obtained very valuable and promising results. 1 Hlavným cieľom práce je predstavenie problematiky ordinálnych dát a najmä následne vytvorených odhadov latentného rozdelenia hustoty. Takto získané odhady sú porovná- vané v simulačnej štúdii s inými metódami tvorby odhadov, ktoré sú v praxi používané častejšie. Čitateľ bude oboznámený s metódou maximálnej vierohodnosti, ktorá bola vy- užitá pri tvorbe jednotlivých odhadov. Jedna časť je venovaná aj alternatívnemu prístupu využitím Bernsteinových polynómov. 2023 - Slovak This bachelor's thesis introduces, derives and implements recursive least squares me- thod. The recursive least squares method is analogy to ordinary least squares for linear regression exercise. Method uses recursive procedure to update coefficients. The goal of this work is to introduce the recursive method algorithm and to become familiar with its benefits. We will use the method for three different simulations, where we show selected properties and modifications. Also we apply the method for estimation of real data in connection with CAPM model. 1 Táto bakalárska práca obsahuje predstavenie, odvodenie a implementáciu rekurentnej metódy najmenších štvorcov. Metóda je analógiou klasickej metódy najmenších štvorcov pre lineárnu regresnú úlohu, pričom používa rekurzívny postup na aktualizáciu koeficien- tov. Cieľom tejto práce je predstavenie algoritmu rekurentnej metódy a oboznámenie sa s jej výhodami. Metódu využijeme na tri rôzne simulácie, v ktorých ukážeme jej vlast- nosti a modifikácie. 2023 - Slovak The purpose of the bachelor thesis is to introduce the reader to two approaches to the construction of prediction intervals. The first procedure assumes a probabilistic model and leads to a frequentist prediction interval that uses the relevant theoretical quantiles of probability distributions. The second procedure assumes no probabilistic model and leads to a conformal prediction interval that uses empirical quantiles of the relevant random sample. In the course of the paper, both approaches will be derived in general terms and then illustrated with concrete examples. Komunitní vermikompostování v rámci studentských kolejí

2023 - Slovak Through the Green Study Room pilot project, the thesis explores the integration of a circular bio-waste management model at the Otava College under the administration of Charles University. The thesis describes the circular economy as an essential method for the efficient management of bio-waste, which is supported in particular by legislation and strategic goals for sustainable development of states, cities and institutions. A questionnaire survey was conducted to assess the awareness and interest of students in establishing a community vermicomposting site. The reconstruction of the study room creates a space to prevent the generation of biodegradable waste on the dormitory premises. Vermicomposting was used as an eco-friendly approach that takes advantage of earthworm's natural ability to convert organic waste into nutrient-rich compost. The establishment of a community shared study room sets the stage for ongoing projects in the areas of centralized bio-waste management, student education, and social-psychological phenomena associated with the transition to a more sustainable society. It also creates an ideal space for seminars, workshops and activities of the university in the field of improving the living standards of students staying at Otava College. Prostredníctvom pilotného projektu Zelená študovňa, práca skúma integráciu modelu obehového hospodárstva bioodpadu na koleji Otava pod správou Karlovej Univerzity. V práci sa opisuje obehové hospodárstvo ako nevyhnutný spôsob pre efektívne nakladanie s bioodpadom, ktorý má podporu najmä zo strany legislatívny a strategických cieľov udržateľného rozvoja štátov, miest a inštitúcii. Dotazníkovým prieskumom bol vyhodnotené povedomie a záujem študentov o zriadenie komunitného vermikompostoviska. Rekonštrukciou miestnosti študovne sa vytvára priestor ako predchádzať vzniku biologicky rozložiteľného odpadu priamo v objekte koleje. Vermikompostovanie sa použilo ako ekologický prístup, ktorý využíva prirodzené schopnosti dážďoviek premieňať organický odpad na kompost bohatý na živiny. Zriadením komunitnej zdieľanej študovne sa vytvára pôda pre pokračujúce projekty v oblasti centralizovaného nakladania s bioodpadom, vzdelávania študentov a sociálno- psychologických javov spojených s prechodom v udržateľnejšiu spoločnosť. Rovnako sa tým vytvára ideálny priestor pre semináre, workshopy a aktivity univerzity v oblasti zlepšovania životnej úrovne študentov ubytovaných na koleji Otava. 2023 - Slovak The extraction of mineral resources, including coal, is important for the functioning of industrial society, but it also brings a number of negative environmental impacts. The waste material generated by mining and collected on the spoil heaps poses an enormous risk to the surrounding ecosystems and interferes with all components of the environment. The aim of my thesis is to describe in more detail the issues related to the diversity of the properties of tailings substrates and the resulting consequences. The nature of spoil substrates differs considerably from conventional ones. Each of the wide range of characteristics of alluvial soils brings with it certain pitfalls that are problematic in the context of restoring the ecosystem to a natural state. Key words: open-cast coal mining, impacts of overburden, damage to ecosystems Extrakcia nerastných surovín, medzi ktoré patrí uhlie, je dôležité pre fungovanie priemyselnej spoločnosti, zároveň ale prináša radu negatívnych environmentálnych dopadov. Odpadný materiál generovaný ťažbou zhromažďovaný na výsypkách predstavuje enormný risk na okolité ekosystémy a zasahuje do všetkých zložiek životného prostredia. Cieľom mojej práce je bližší popis problematiky týkajúcej sa diverzity vlastností výsypkových substrátov a z nich vyplývajúcich dôsledkov. Charakter výsypkových pod sa značne líši od tých bežných. Lee's life and his decision, which influenced him to sign up for the Confederate side before the mere start of the Civil War. The work discusses Lee's youth, his studies and work before the war with Mexico, and also his family life. The subsequent work will be devoted to the Mexican- American War and the leading compromises. The Mexican-American war, in its consequences, was one of the main triggers of secession. The work will also discuss Robert E. Lee's view on slavery. (slovensky) Hlavným cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je priblížiť a poukázať na udalosti v živote Roberta E.
