Nová pravice a její recepce Konzervativní revoluce Výmarské republiky na příkladu časopisu Sezession

The presented thesis deals with the New Right in Germany and its current reception of the Conservative Revolution of the Weimar Republic. The thesis primarily focuses on the German New Right, which it aims to define by its references to ideological and political stances of the right-wing conservative and extremist movement of the Weimar Republic - the Conservative Revolution. Based on a detailed textual analysis of selected articles from the New Right's journal Sezession, the thesis presents the elementary worldviews of the New Right as well as its rhetoric and strategies. Furthermore, it is demonstrated how the New Right perceives the central ideas of the Conservative Revolution (anti- enlightenment, anti-liberalism, anti-democracy, anti-parliamentarism, advocacy of an authoritarian state concept and promotion of a homogenous society) and how it implicitly or explicitly employs these ideas for its argumentation. The thesis proved that the worldviews of the Conservative Revolution nowadays still function as an ideological reservoir of the New Right, meaning also that the New Right is theoretically little innovative and takes over and passes on a large part of the ideas of the intellectuals of the Conservative Revolution, which are currently one hundred years old. Anhand einer detaillierten Textanalyse ausgewählter Artikel aus der Aufklärung, Befürwortung eines autoritären und einer möglichst homogenen rezipiert und sich dieser für ihre Argumentation implizit oder explizit großen sind, übernimmt und weiter Předkládaná diplomová práce pojednává o Nové pravici v Německu a její současné recepci Konzervativní revoluce Výmarské republiky. Práce se zabývá především německou Novou pravicí, kterou se snaží definovat jejím odkazováním se na ideologické a politické postoje Konzervativní revoluce, pravicově konzervativního až extremistického hnutí Výmarské republiky. Na základě detailní textové analýzy vybraných článků z časopisu Nové pravice je v této práci představeno nejen základní vnímání světa cí jako takové, ale také její rétorika a strategie. Práce přitom ukazuje, jak Nová pravice vnímá centrální myšlenky Konzervativní revoluce (anti osvícenství, anti parlamentarismus a prosazování autoritářského režimu a homogenní společnosti) a jak je dále ať implicitně či explicitně využívá pro svoji Při práci se hypotéz že šlenkový svět í revoluce dodnes funguje jako ideologický rezervoár pro scénu Nové pravice; Nová pravice je teoretické úrovni jen velice málo inovativní a elké části pouze přebírá a předává dále yšlenky Konzervativní revoluce, které sou nyní již let staré.

The presented thesis examines lexical and pragmatic instruments used by the leading newspaper in Germany during the Second World War, the Völkischer Beobachter. The objective is to determine the importance of the choice of lexical and pragmatic instruments and the communication strategy applied to influence readers. The targeting of readers by the press is illustrated by descriptions of the political climate and specific historical events. The thesis links language, history and wartime politics. By drawing on academic literature, the author describes the historical context preceding the Second World War, focusing on political events and press bans. Selected key wartime events are linked to linguistic analysis. The National Socialist ideology, led by Adolf Hitler, assists in demonstrating the origins of the typical features of National Socialist language. The newspapers themselves, Völkischer Beobachter, and selected linguistic and pragmatic phenomena are also described. The selected examples were chosen on the basis of a search in the Völkischer Beobachter and subsequent analysis. The linguistic analysis consists of a lexicological classification into linguistic devices of emotionality, expressivity, metaphor, metonymy and idiomatic expressions. V této diplomové práci se zabývám lexikálními a pragmatickými prostředky ve vůdčích novinách Německa za druhé světové války, Völkischer Beobachter. Cílem je zjistit, jak důležitá byla volba lexikálních a pragmatických prostředků a volba komunikační strategie při ovlivňování čtenářů. Cílené ovlivňování čtenářů je ilustrováno pomocí popisu politického klimatu a konkrétních historických událostí. Tato práce propojuje jazyk, historii a politiku válečného období. S pomocí odborné literatury popisuji historický kontext před druhou světovou válkou, se zaměřením na politické dění a zákazy v oblasti tisku. Klíčové události války jsou vybrané na základě propojení s jazykovou analýzou. Nacionálně socialistická ideologie v čele s Adolfem Hitlerem pomáhají dokreslit původ typických znaků nacionálně socialistického jazyka. Popisuji samotné noviny, Völkischer Beobachter a také vybrané lingvistické a pragmatické jevy. Vybrané ukázky jsou zvoleny na základě rešerše ve Völkischer Beobachter a následnou analýzou. Lingvistická analýza se skládá z lexikologického rozdělení na jazykové prostředky emocionality, expresivity, metafory, metonymie a idiomatických spojení. This thesis deals with the analysis of novels Die Erziehung des Mannes and Die Liebe der Väter. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with masculinity in literature and the images of men in contemporary literature. This part also analyses the father role and the role of a man in today's world. The literary analysis of both novels follows. Both novels are written in the first-person narrative, the main protagonist is the narrator in both cases. The plot is told from male perspective. An important theme of both books is fatherly love, but also disputes with an ex-partner. Then the thesis analyses the images of men in both novels. The work tries to answer the question of what images of men appear in both novels. Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou románů Die Erziehung des Mannes a Die Liebe der Väter. Teoretická část práce se věnuje mužství v literatuře a obrazům mužů v současné literatuře. Také se zabývá rolí muže a otce v současném světě. Následuje literární analýza obou románů. Oba romány jsou psané v Ich-formě, vypravěčem je hlavní hrdina. Děj je vyprávěn z mužské perspektivy. Důležitým tématem obou děl je otcovská láska, ale také spory s ex-partnerkou. Poté práce analyzuje obrazy mužů v obou románech. Práce se snaží odpovědět na otázku, jaké obrazy mužů se objevují v obou románech.

This diploma thesis deals with a linguistic analysis of 32 German letters sent as a part of correspondence of the chambers of commerce and trade in the Czechoslovak Republic from 1930-1935. In addition to the textual analysis of the texts themselves, the thesis summarises the political and economic background with overlapping implications for national relations in the Bohemia region in the period after the dissolution of the Habsurg Monarchy. It also examines the contribution and essence of the chambers of commerce and trade. The core of this work consists in a textual analysis of the collected archival material from the National Archives in Prague. The aim of this thesis is to compare the linguistics and text linguistics phenomenon of individual senders and to analyse the German language in the context of the chamber of commerce and trade's dealings. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá lingvistickou analýzou 32 německy psaných dopisů odeslaných v rámci korespondence obchodních a živnostenských komor na území Československé republiky z let 1930-1935. Práce kromě textologické analýzy samotných textů shrnuje politicko-hospodářské pozadí s přesahem do národních vztahů na území českých zemí z doby po zániku Habsburské monarchie. Zároveň se zabývá přínosem a podstatou obchodních a živnostenských komor. Jádro této práce spočívá v textologické analýze nashromážděných archiválií z Národního archivu v Praze. Cílem této práce je srovnání jazykových a textologických zvyklostí jednotlivých odesílatelů a rozbor německého jazyka v rámci styku obchodních a živnostenských komor.

Justin Steinfeld v pražském exilu

This paper deals with the journalistic work and the single novel of Justin Steinfeld (1886 Kiel - 1970 Baldock), who fled in 1933 from Hamburg to Czechoslovakia. This work focuses on his articles, which he wrote during his Prague exile (1933-1939) for the German speaking magazine Die Wahrheit and on his only novel Ein Mann liest Zeitung (1984, 2020) which tells the story of an exile who, like Steinfeld fled from Hamburg to Prague from the Nazis. The first part of the thesis introduces Czechoslovakia as an exile country for refugees from Germany in the 1930s and cultural activities of the exiles are shortly commented on, especially in relation to leftist and anti-fascist circles. This is followed by a short portrait of Justin Steinfeld. The main part of this work consists of chapters about the work of Steinfeld. First, his articles for Die Wahrheit are analysed. The attempt is made to characterize his journalistic writing, to find and describe the thematic focuses of his articles. The next chapter is devoted to the novel Ein Mann liest Zeitung and describes how the subject of exile is presented in it. The concept of exile is understood in different ways - firstly as a (geographical and social) space, secondly as a social status and thirdly as a psychological status. Finally, the magazine articles... Předkládaná práce se zabývá novinářskou prací a románem Justina Steinfelda (1886 Kiel - 1970 Baldock), který v roce 1933 uprchnul z Hamburku do Československa. Práce se koncentruje na jeho články, které napsal během svého pražského exilu v letech 1933 až 1939 pro časopis Die Wahrheit, a na jeho jediný román Ein Mann liest Zeitung (1984, 2020), jenž vypráví příběh exulanta, který, stejně jako Steinfeld, uprchnul před nacisty z Hamburku do Prahy. V první části práce je popsáno Československo jakožto exilová země pro uprchlíky z Německa ve třicátých letech 20. století a rovněž je okomentována kulturní činnost exulantů především s ohledem na levicově a antifašisticky orientované kruhy. Následuje stručný portrét Justina Steinfelda. Jádro práce tvoří kapitoly o Steinfeldově díle. Nejprve jsou analyzovány jeho články pro časopis Die Wahrheit, přičemž se práce snaží charakterizovat jeho žurnalistické psaní a vysledovat a popsat tematická těžiště jeho článků. Další kapitola je věnována Steinfeldově románu Ein Mann liest Zeitung, přičemž je ukázáno, jakým způsobem je v románu zobrazeno téma exilu. This master's thesis analyses the lexicographical treatment of interjections in current German- Czech commercial dictionaries, special focus is laid on user aspect. The goal of this thesis is to provide an overview of possible issues in the lexicographical processing of interjections. The focus is on both the macrostructure with the selection of lemmas and microstructure of the respective analysed entries. Compared to corpus data and to monolingual dictionaries, problems include especially part of speech specifications, selection of Czech translation equivalents, lack of examples demonstrating the pragmatic function of the interjections, or insufficient metalanguage comments. The example of the dictionary entry of the lemma ach shows which steps and decisions must be made by the lexicographical work. At the end, concrete solutions for the lexicographical treatment of interjections are proposed, such as the exact classification of the respective meanings, metalanguage comments on these meanings, necessary attention to the prosodic and syntactic properties, and dialogical examples. Předkládaná diplomová práce analyzuje dosavadní lexikografické zpracování interjekcí v německo-českých komerčních slovnících, nahlíženo je na ně především z uživatelského hlediska. Cílem této práce je podat přehled o možných problémech při lexikografickém zpracování interjekcí. Důraz je kladen jak na makrostrukturu a výběr lemmat, tak i na mikrostrukturu slovníkových hesel. Jako problematické se ve srovnání s korpusovými daty a jednojazyčnými slovníky ukazují především údaje o slovních druzích, volba českých překladových ekvivalentů, chybějící příklady, jež by exemplifikovaly pragmatickou funkci interjekcí, či chybějící metajazykové komentáře. Na příkladu vzorového slovníkového hesla ach je ukázáno, jaké konkrétní kroky a rozhodnutí jsou nezbytné při lexikografické práci. Nakonec jsou prezentovány konkrétní návrhy řešení pro zpracování interjekcí v akademickém slovníku, jako je přesné rozdělení jednotlivých významů, metajazykové komentáře k těmto významům, nutné zachycení prozodických a syntaktických vlastností či uvádění dialogických příkladů.

Diplomová práce pojednává o českých současných autorkách, které se literárně zabývají česko-německými vztahy 20. století a angažují se v německy mluvícím prostoru. Jedná se o Kateřinu Tučkovou, Radku Denemarkovou a Jakubu Katalpu. Každá z autorek zpracovává česko-německá témata s odlišnou motivací a přináší na problematiku nový pohled, což dokazuje detailní analýza románů Vyhnání Gerty Schnirch, Peníze od Hitlera a Němci. Cílem práce je vytvořit tři osobité portréty a pojmenovat shodné i rozdílné tendence zmíněných autorek. Pozornost se soustředí na jejich biografii, společenské aktivity a názory, které jsou pro pochopení kontextu nezbytné. The diploma thesis deals with Czech contemporary female authors who focus on Czech-German relations in the 20th century and are engaged in the German-speaking area. These are Katerina Tuckova, Radka Denemarkova and Jakuba Katalpa. Each of the authors approaches the Czech-German topics with different motivations and brings a new perspective on the issue, as evidenced by a detailed analysis of the novels The Expulsion of Gerta Schnirch, Money from Hitler and The Germans. The aim of the work is to create three distinctive portraits and to name the same and different tendencies of the mentioned authors. Attention is focused on their biography, social activities and opinions, which are necessary for understanding the context.

Diplomová práce zkoumá na příkladu vybraných písničkářů sedmdesátých a osmdesátých let v NDR Stephanu Krawczykovi, Bettině Wegner aWolfu Biermannovi hudební žánr folku a protestsongu jako svébytného sociálně-kritického útvaru na pomezí hudby a literatury. Teoretická práce je zaměřena na literárně-kulturní pozadí NDR, na folkový protestsong jako žánr s významnou společenskou a politickou ambicí a jeho dějinný kontext v západních zemích a zemích komunistického bloku v druhé polovině 20. století. V praktické části budou interpretovány vybrané písně uvedených písničkářů s ohledem na literární kvality textů, bude sledována recepce a dopady jejich šíření mezi veřejností i osudy interpretů v posledních dvou desetiletích existence NDR. V práci bude navrhnut i didaktický mezipředmětový projekt k aktualizaci poselství vybraných písní u žáků němčin jako cizího jazyka.

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of the variation in genitive and dative government. The subject of analysis are the following thirteen prepositions: (an)statt, innerhalb, längs, mangels, mittels, trotz, während, wegen, zugunsten/zu Gunsten; binnen, dank, laut, zufolge. The aim of the thesis is to capture the use of the mentioned prepositions as detailed as possible. The focus is on the question and the attempt to determine in which cases within the variation in prepositional case government in the written language one or the other case is preferred and whether certain tendencies or systematics common to all thirteen prepositions can be followed. The prepositions are analysed by means of nine selected sources (both dictionaries and grammar books) and German reference corpus. Tato diplomová práce pojednává o genitivním a dativním kolísání pádu. Předmětem analýzy je následujících třináct předložek: (an)statt, innerhalb, längs, mangels, mittels, trotz, während, wegen, zugunsten/zu Gunsten; binnen, dank, laut, zufolge. Cílem práce je co nejpodrobněji zprostředkovat užívaní uvedených předložek. Centrální je zde otázka a pokus o určení, ve kterých případech je v psaném jazyce upřednostňován jeden nebo druhý pád, a zda lze v rámci kolísavého užívání vysledovat určité tendence nebo systematiku společnou pro všech třináct předložek. Předložky jsou zkoumány pomocí devíti vybraných zdrojů (slovníků i gramatik) a Německého referenčního korpusu.

Ženská sexualita a sebeurčení v románech E. Jelinek

This thesis deals with women's images in the chosen novels by the Austrian writer Elfriede Jelinek. The focus lies on exploring women's sexuality and identities in Die Klavierspielerin (The Piano Teacher), Lust (Lust) and Die Liebhaberinnen (Women as Lovers). As for the methodology, I draw on feminist literary criticism and gender studies, primarily Elaine Showalter's and Judith Butler's theories. The development of female protagonists is comprehended as formed through patriarchy - it will be analyzed, and the individual results will be compared in order to get to the general issue about depiction of patriarchy and toxic masculinity in Jelinek's work. Zaměřuje se na vývoj ženské sexuality a identity v románech Die Klavierspielerin (Pianistka), Lust (Slast) a Die Liebhaberinnen (Milovnice). Analýza se opírá především o feministické a genderové teorie Elaine Showalter a Judith Butler. Vývoj protagonistek je chápan jako formovaný patriarchální kulturou, na základě čehož budou postavy analyzovány a následně porovnány.
