This master's thesis analyses the lexicographical treatment of interjections in current German- Czech commercial dictionaries, special focus is laid on user aspect. The goal of this thesis is to provide an overview of possible issues in the lexicographical processing of interjections. The focus is on both the macrostructure with the selection of lemmas and microstructure of the respective analysed entries. Compared to corpus data and to monolingual dictionaries, problems include especially part of speech specifications, selection of Czech translation equivalents, lack of examples demonstrating the pragmatic function of the interjections, or insufficient metalanguage comments. The example of the dictionary entry of the lemma ach shows which steps and decisions must be made by the lexicographical work. At the end, concrete solutions for the lexicographical treatment of interjections are proposed, such as the exact classification of the respective meanings, metalanguage comments on these meanings, necessary attention to the prosodic and syntactic properties, and dialogical examples. Předkládaná diplomová práce analyzuje dosavadní lexikografické zpracování interjekcí v německo-českých komerčních slovnících, nahlíženo je na ně především z uživatelského hlediska. Cílem této práce je podat přehled o možných problémech při lexikografickém zpracování interjekcí. Důraz je kladen jak na makrostrukturu a výběr lemmat, tak i na mikrostrukturu slovníkových hesel. Jako problematické se ve srovnání s korpusovými daty a jednojazyčnými slovníky ukazují především údaje o slovních druzích, volba českých překladových ekvivalentů, chybějící příklady, jež by exemplifikovaly pragmatickou funkci interjekcí, či chybějící metajazykové komentáře. Na příkladu vzorového slovníkového hesla ach je ukázáno, jaké konkrétní kroky a rozhodnutí jsou nezbytné při lexikografické práci. Nakonec jsou prezentovány konkrétní návrhy řešení pro zpracování interjekcí v akademickém slovníku, jako je přesné rozdělení jednotlivých významů, metajazykové komentáře k těmto významům, nutné zachycení prozodických a syntaktických vlastností či uvádění dialogických příkladů.

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of the variation in genitive and dative government. The subject of analysis are the following thirteen prepositions: (an)statt, innerhalb, längs, mangels, mittels, trotz, während, wegen, zugunsten/zu Gunsten; binnen, dank, laut, zufolge. The aim of the thesis is to capture the use of the mentioned prepositions as detailed as possible. The focus is on the question and the attempt to determine in which cases within the variation in prepositional case government in the written language one or the other case is preferred and whether certain tendencies or systematics common to all thirteen prepositions can be followed. The prepositions are analysed by means of nine selected sources (both dictionaries and grammar books) and German reference corpus. Tato diplomová práce pojednává o genitivním a dativním kolísání pádu. Předmětem analýzy je následujících třináct předložek: (an)statt, innerhalb, längs, mangels, mittels, trotz, während, wegen, zugunsten/zu Gunsten; binnen, dank, laut, zufolge. Cílem práce je co nejpodrobněji zprostředkovat užívaní uvedených předložek. Centrální je zde otázka a pokus o určení, ve kterých případech je v psaném jazyce upřednostňován jeden nebo druhý pád, a zda lze v rámci kolísavého užívání vysledovat určité tendence nebo systematiku společnou pro všech třináct předložek. Předložky jsou zkoumány pomocí devíti vybraných zdrojů (slovníků i gramatik) a Německého referenčního korpusu.

This thesis deals with women's images in the chosen novels by the Austrian writer Elfriede Jelinek. The focus lies on exploring women's sexuality and identities in Die Klavierspielerin (The Piano Teacher), Lust (Lust) and Die Liebhaberinnen (Women as Lovers). As for the methodology, I draw on feminist literary criticism and gender studies, primarily Elaine Showalter's and Judith Butler's theories. The development of female protagonists is comprehended as formed through patriarchy - it will be analyzed, and the individual results will be compared in order to get to the general issue about depiction of patriarchy and toxic masculinity in Jelinek's work. Key words: feminism, gender, women's sexuality, self-determination, Elfriede Jelinek Tato práce se zabývá obrazem ženy v románech rakouské spisovatelky Elfriede Jelinek. Zaměřuje se na vývoj ženské sexuality a identity v románech Die Klavierspielerin (Pianistka), Lust (Slast) a Die Liebhaberinnen (Milovnice). Analýza se opírá především o feministické a genderové teorie Elaine Showalter a Judith Butler. Vývoj protagonistek je chápan jako formovaný patriarchální kulturou, na základě čehož budou postavy analyzovány a následně porovnány. In The gendered Human Being. Gender Difference from the Perspective of Helmuth Plessner's Philosophical Anthropology, gender difference in the two-gender model is examined from the perspective of philosophical anthropology. For this purpose, three social constructivist theories of gender difference are brought into conversation with each other under the prism of lived body-body-person. In this way, the work aims to catch a glimpse of the gendered human being in all the spheres that open up their world. Presented Master's thesis deals with euthanasia in the novel "Ikarien" by German author Uwe Timm. The thesis highlights development of its main character Alfred Ploetz, an originator of so-called racial hygiene (German variation of eugenics). Ploetz supported the idea of performing euthanasia on severely disabled people. This was applied at massive scale in Nazi Germany from 1939 to 1945. One of the goals of this thesis is to analyze the connection between utopian notions about the creation of a new man, eugenics and euthanasia performed by Nazis, which is reflected in the life of Alfred Ploetz. Furthermore, the thesis aims to give analysis of literary means used for capturing subject matter and compare factual and fictional parts of this historical novel. Jedním z cílů této práce je analýza souvislostí mezi utopickými představami o vytvoření nového člověka, eugenikou a nacisty praktikovanou eutanazií, které se odrážejí i v životě Alfreda Ploetze. This thesis examines the translation of stylization of orality in the context of linguistics, the development of language and literature as well as translation theory. Three contemporary Czech novels and their translations are analyzed in regard to their oral features. The statistical analysis applies selected elements, that are characterized in specialized literature as typical for orality. It explores their incidence using a corpus analysis method. As concerns the source texts, the results show differences regarding the levels of language and groups of lexemes, which indicates an individual stylization. This is, to a lesser extent, true of the target texts as well, notwithstanding the fact that they show a greater uniformity overall. A contrastive comparison leads to the conclusion, that oral features with more commonality in Czech tend to be neutralized to a greater extent. A functional analysis of orality is also carried out. Its aim is to characterize the impression (Wirkung) of orality in a given passage and distinguish between the so called adapted and mimetic kinds of orality. The analysis follows its own model and points to, amongst other things, a special role of Common Czech (obecná čeština) and of particles as well as adverbs devoid of meaning in German. It becomes clear, that the... Tato práce se zabývá překladem stylizace mluvenosti v kontextu lingvistiky, vývoje jazyka a literatury a teorie překladu. Analyzujeme rysy mluvenosti ve třech současných českých románech a jejich překladech. Kvantitativní analýza vychází z vybraných prvků, které jsou v odborné literatuře charakterizovány jako typické pro mluvenost. Jejich výskyt pak zkoumáme pomocí korpusové analýzy. Analýza původních děl prokázala, že mezi romány existují v rovinách jazyka i v rámci konkrétních slovních druhů rozdíly, což je znakem individuální stylizace. Tento individuální postup lze v omezené míře pozorovat i v překladech, třebaže stylizace překladů je vcelku spíše jednotná. Díky kontrastivnímu pohledu můžeme konstatovat, že míra nivelizace je obzvlášť velká, pokud jde o rysy, které jsou v češtině rozšířené. Následuje kvalitativní analýza stylizované mluvenosti, jejímž cílem je v daném úryvku popsat působení mluvenosti a také umožnit rozlišování mezi tzv. adaptovaným a mimetickým druhem mluvenosti. This diploma thesis aims to study the protocol literature which originated mainly in the former German Democratic Republic. The protocol literature of the Federal Republic of Germany is mentioned only briefly. In connection with the protocol literature, it is vital to firstly deal with the ambiguity and nonuniformity of the term Protokoll-Literatur. It is also necessary to clarify the term Frauenliteratur and Männerliteratur. The main objective of the theoretical part is to set the protocol literature into its historical and cultural context, to characterise protocol literature - its features, mainly the authenticity and subjectivity of this type of literature. The important task of this thesis is to manage the classification of the protocol literature into a literary genre and answer the question whether the protocol literature can be regarded as an independent literary genre. Furthermore, the topics occurring in the protocol literature are presented. Each topic is accompanied with a list of literary works, which are briefly introduced. The second part of the thesis offers an interpretation of three selected works of the so called Männerliteratur. The inner and outer composition of each work is further analysed, attention is paid to the narrative perspective, to the titles of the works, as well as... Tato diplomová práce se zabývá protokolární literaturou, která vznikala především v bývalé Německé demokratické republice Německo. Protokolární literatura Spolkové republiky Německo je zmíněna pouze okrajově. V souvislosti s protokolární literaturou je nutné se nejdříve vypořádat s nejasnostmi a nejednotnostmi v používání termínu Protokoll-Literatur a objasnit termíny Frauenliteratur a Männerliteratur. Hlavním cílem teoretické části práce je zasadit protokolární literaturu do historického a kulturního kontextu, charakterizovat protokolární literaturu - její znaky, a to především autentičnost a subjektivnost tohoto druhu literatury. Důležitým úkolem práce je rovněž objasnit žánrové zařazení protokolární literatury a podat odpověď na otázku, zda může být protokolární literatura považována za samostatný literární žánr. Dále jsou představena hlavní témata, kterými se protokolární literatura zabývá. U každého tématu je podán přehled literárních titulů, které jsou krátce představeny. This diploma thesis explores the lyrical poetry of Eduard Mörike (1804-1875), a German poet. The topic of the thesis is theencountering of nature and love in his works. This poet, less known in the Czech context, wrote various kinds of poems, which deserve attention. The thesis is divided in two parts, theoretical and interpretative. In the first part, the thesis focuses on giving an overall context (I deal with a historical context, literary epochs, during which Eduard Mörike wrote, his personality and general introduction in lyrical poetry). The second part of my thesis aims to interpret selected poems, which are divided bytheir themes: romantic love, the morning, wayfaring, the forest and the so-called "Dinggedichte," or poems focusing on understanding and appreciation of a single item. In each poem, a mood or feeling that characterizes the poem is described, who is the speaker within the poem, and which topics of love and nature can be observed. From the perspective of form, I analyze the rhyme scheme. The analysis of each thematic group also contains a comparation of the poems. The interpretational part aims to connect and evaluate the interweaving of love and nature in the poetic works of Eduard Mörike and touch upon the deeper meaning of the poems. Its aim is also to make the selected works... Diplomová práce se zabývá lyrikou německého básníka 19. století Eduarda Mörika (1804-1875). Tématem práce je potkávání přírody a lásky v jeho básních. V českém kontextu méně známý básník psal rozličné druhy a typy básní, které si zasluhují pozornost. Práce se dělí na dvě části, teoretickou a interpretační. V první části se práce ve čtyřech stručnějších kapitolách zaměřuje na uvedení do celkového kontextu (věnuji se historickému kontextu, dále literárním epochám, ve kterých Eduard Mörike tvořil, jeho osobnosti a obecnému úvodu do jeho lyriky). Druhá část se věnuje interpretaci vybraných básní, které jsou podle tématu rozděleny na básně milostné, básně s tematikou rána, putování, lesa a na tzv. "báseň-věc" (Dinggedicht), tedy básně věnující se pochopení a oslavě jednoho předmětu. V každé básni je popsána nálada či pocit, kterým se báseň vyznačuje, jaký mluvčí v básni promlouvá a jaké motivy lásky a přírody se v básni objevují. Z formálních otázek se zabývám rýmovým schématem. Analýza každého tematického okruhu zahrnuje i porovnání básní. The diploma thesis is concerned with reception of the Austrian novelist and playwright Thomas Bernhard in the Czech Republic after 1989. The piece of work mainly focuses on how the writer was presented to the Czech society. The thesis also responds to the statement of the Czech Germanist Milan Tvrdík who said, in 1995, that Thomas Bernhard still awaits discovery of his writings in the Czech Republic and, so far, is an author mostly for Germanists. Theoretical framework of the work is based on the reception theory of Constance school. The research is mainly focused on the Czech translations of the Bernhard's books which contain epilogues and editorial notes, then on the reviews of the Bernhard's plays introduced in the Czech theatres between 1989 and 2019. Considering the fact that some adaptations of Bernhard's plays in our country offered an interesting link between Czech and Slovakian acting scene, an insight of the Bernhard's reception in Slovakia is a part of the work. The analysis takes into consideration external factors, too. These factors are translators, editors, or individual publishing houses Prostor, Mladá Fronta, Divadelní ústav or Odeon, which have influenced the reception of Bernhard's work in the Czech Republic. Diplomová práce se zabývá přijetím rakouského spisovatele a dramatika Thomase Bernharda v Čechách po roce 1989 a především tím, jaký obraz tohoto dramatika byl české veřejnosti představen. Práce tak reaguje na výrok českého germanisty Milana Tvrdíka z roku 1995, že Thomas Bernhard stále čeká v Čechách na své objevení a zatím je autorem pouze pro germanisty. Teoretický rámec práce se opírá o recepční teorii Kostnické školy. Hlavním předmětem výzkumu jsou potom především české překlady Bernhardova díla s doslovy a edičními poznámkami, stejně tak jako analýza recenzí Bernhardových her uvedených na českých jevištích mezi lety 1989 a 2019. Vzhledem k tomu, že některé adaptace Bernhardových her nabídly propojení české a slovenské herecké scény, je součástí práce i vhled do situace přijetí Bernharda na Slovensku. Při analýze jsou dále zohledněny i vnější faktory ovlivňující přijetí Bernhardova díla v České republice, jakými jsou překladatelé, editoři nebo jednotlivá nakladatelství jako Prostor, Mladá Fronta, Divadelní ústav nebo Odeon. Z kvalitativní analýzy zkoumaných textů je vyvozen obraz rakouského dramatika, jak byl, resp. je předkládán českému publiku.
