Our master's thesis is an interdisciplinary study on the play No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre and its film adaptations - the French one directed by Jacqueline Audrey in 1954, and the English one directed by Philip Saville in 1964. The work is divided into two parts - literary and cinematographic analysis. In the first part we will focus on the play No Exit in the historical, cultural and philosophical context, find its role among the other literary texts of Sartre and study in more detail the text itself - its form, main motifs, etc. In the second part we will analyze its cinematographic potential. Comparing the two adaptations with each other and with the play, we will start with the general characteristics and then move on to the comparative analysis of two chosen episodes. Naše diplomová práce je interdisciplinární studie divadelní hry No Exit od Jeana-Paula Sartra a jejích filmových adaptací - francouzské od Jacqueline Audrey z roku 1954 a anglické od Philipe Saville z roku 1964. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí - literární a kinematografická analýza. V první části se zaměříme na hru No Exit v historickém, kulturním a filozofickém kontextu, najdeme její roli mezi ostatními literárními texty Sartra a podrobněji zanalýzujeme samotný text - jeho formu, hlavní motivy atd. Ve druhé části budeme analýzovat jeho kinematografický potenciál. Při srovnání těchto dvou adaptací mezi sebou a s hrou začneme s obecnými charakteristikami a poté přejdeme ke srovnávací analýze dvou vybraných epizod.

1 Michaela Rumpíková, Résurrection de l'auteur : Hervé Guibert Abstract Hervé Guibert's writings are shocking, revolting, surprising with their explicit and expressive content. The author's desire to show, to reveal and to expose himself transforms his private universe into a space where intimacy becomes extimacy. His exhibitionist project is accomplished with the assistance of a literary genre, autofiction, the new postmodern cosmos of the "I". This thesis seeks to analyse the notion and the modalities of his "I", intimately connected to the themes of body, illness, life, death and resurrection, in his literary chronicles of AIDS, To the Friend Who Did Not Save My Life, The Compassionnate Protocol, Modesty, or Immodesty and The Man in the Red Hat. The "I" of the autodiegetic narrator appears as fragmentary and unstable. His "self" configures and unconfigures at the same time. There is a sense of alienation from his own body which has been dramatically altered by the illness. As a consequence, we witness both physical and psychological defragmentation of the subject. The body, constituent of the "I" identity, gradually transforms into an impersonal "it", an entity apart. In order to (re)construct himself, the author uses various writing processes that help him become familiar with his new "self". Autorova touha se ukázat, odhalit a vystavit, proměňuje jeho soukromý vesmír v prostor, kde se intimita stává extimitou. Jeho exhibicionistický projekt se realizuje s pomocí nového literárního žánru autofikce: nový postmoderní kosmos vyjádření "já". V této diplomové práci se pokusíme provést analýzu právě tohoto pojmu "já" a jeho modalit v narativním prostoru. "Já", jakožto vyjádření autorovi identity, je zde úzce spjato s tématy těla, nemoci, života, smrti a vzkříšení. Naše studie se bude odvíjet od Guibertovy kroniky o AIDS, À l'ami qui ne m'a pas sauvé la vie, Le protocole compassionnel, L'homme au chapeau rouge a La Pudeur ou l'Impudeur. "Já" autodiegetického vypravěče se jeví jako fragmentární a nestabilní. Jeho "já" se skrze text konfiguruje a zároveň de-konfiguruje. Zaznamenáváme pocit vyprávěčova odcizení od jeho vlastního těla, které bylo dramaticky postiženo smrtelnou nemocí. V důsledku toho se stáváme svědky jak fyzické, tak i psychické defragmentace subjektu. Tělo, jakožto součást identity "já", se postupně transformuje na neosobní zájmeno "ono". The phenomenon of enantiosemy in contemporary French The diploma thesis deals with enantiosemy in contemporary French. It is a linguistic phenomenon, which by its nature falls into the field of lexical semantics, but it receives much less, if any, attention. Despite the fact that the term « enantiosemy » was introduced in scientific circles more than a hundred years ago, its terminological definition has no fixed contours. The aim of the work is to define the term enantiosemy in a broader linguistic environment, to compare its grasp and to present the main lines of its characteristics. At the same time, we will notice the presence-absence of the analyzed phenomenon in the relevant study material of the French language. Also in this work will be shown different types of opposites of enantiosemic words. The selected enantiosemic words will be subjected to diachronic analysis. In addition, the phenomenon of interlingual enantiosemy will be investigated using the example of French and English. Key words : enantiosemy, opposites, homonymy, antonymy, semantics, polysemy, interlingual enantiosemy Fenomén enantiosémie v současné francouzštině Diplomová práce se věnuje enantiosémii v současné francouzštině. Jedná se o lingvistický jev, který svou povahou spadá do oblasti lexikální sémantiky, nicméně se mu dostává mnohem menší, neli žádné, pozornosti. Přes skutečnost, že byl termín "enantiosemia" představen ve vědeckých kruzích před více než sto lety, jeho terminologické vymezení nemá pevné kontury. Cílem práce je tedy jednak vymezit termín enantiosémie v širším lingvistickém prostředí, porovnat jeho uchopení a představit hlavní linie jeho charakteristik. V této práci budou také ukázány různé typy protikladů enantiosemických slov. Vybraná enantiosemická slova budou podrobena diachronní analýze. Fenomén interlingvální enantiosemie bude dále zkoumán na příkladu francouzštiny a angličtiny. Dva francouzské překlady Cento Probae z poloviny 16. století

Cento Probae is one the important works of late Roman literature, which had a great success both in the Middle Ages and in the humanism. This is evidenced by the large number of manuscripts and printed witnesses, to which it is possible to add two French translations from the middle of the 16th century. The main focus of this master's thesis is to propose a detailed comparison of the texts with regard to contemporary translation practice. Based on this analysis, the author examines the purpose of these translations, the audience for which they were intended and whether there is any connection between them. patří mezi významná díla pozdněantické římské literatury a ve středověku i v období humanismu se mu dostalo mimořádného úspěchu. Svědčí o tom mimo jiné bohatá rukopisná a ediční tradice, k níž je možné přiřadit také dva francouzské překlady z poloviny 16. století překladatelů Richarda Le Blanc ohledem na dobovou překladatelskou praxi. Na základě této analýzy pak autorka zkoumá, za jakým účelem překlady vznikly, jakému publiku byly určeny a zda nějaká souvislost.

Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na francouzské verbonominální kolokace a na jejich české překlady. Obsahuje dvě praktické úlohy: první úloha spočívá ve vytvoření srovnatelného francouzsko-českého korpusu textů z oblasti zdravotnictví; následně se korpus stává primárním zdrojem pro druhou úlohu, v níž je studována množina verbonominálních kolokací nalezených ve francouzském modulu korpusu, v českém modulu jsou potom dohledány jejich možné překlady a je provedena translatologická analýza. Praktické části předchází čtyři teoretické kapitoly, z nichž první se zaměřuje na vymezení pojmu kolokace, druhá se věnuje některým aspektům klasifikace verbonominálních kolokací, ve třetí se přechází k teorii překladu a čtvrtá se zabývá problematikou týkající se vytvoření korpusu, zejména srovnatelného korpusu. K práci je připojen francouzsko-český slovníček. This master's thesis deals with French verbonominal collocations and their Czech translations. It contains two practical tasks: the first task consists in creating a comparable French-Czech corpus of healthcare texts; subsequently, the corpus becomes the primary source for the second task, in which several verbonominal collocations found in the French module of the corpus are studied, their possible translations are looked up in the Czech module of the corpus, and a translatological analysis is made. Practical part is preceded by four theoretical chapters focused on: the definition of collocation, some aspects of the classification of verbonominal collocations, the theory of translation, and issues related to the creation of a corpus, especially a comparable corpus. A French-Czech vocabulary is attached to the thesis.

"The Mestizo Consciousness" is a research based on the work of the Mexican-American researcher Glória Anzaldúa and her definition of people who live between the borders of the dualism of society, whether they are borders of race, physical borders between countries, moral borders or political, linguistic or sexual borders. By first analysing the place of the mestizo, we will follow the development of this "non-place" from Alzaldúa onwards and the way in which it affects the individual and society. To do this, we will draw on the thought and experience of the authors we have called upon, such as Alzandúa herself, Derrida in "The Monolingualism of the Other" and the life and philosophy of the indigenous Yanomami people, starting with Davi Kopenawa's "The Fall of Heaven". We will show that dualism has been and continues to be present in our society, how it directly affects the life and philosophy of each individual and we will think about the empowerment of those who are outside this model, which passes less through the recognition of this dualism, than through the affirmation, acceptance and admiration of each characteristic that defines the individual in his or her difference. En analysant d'abord la place du métis, nous suivrons à partir d'Alzaldúa le développement de ce "non-lieu" et la manière dont cela affecte l'individu et la société. Pour cela, nous nous appuierons sur la pensée et l'expérience des auteurs convoqués, comme Alzandúa elle-même, Derrida dans Le monolinguisme de l'autre ainsi que sur la vie et la philosophie du peuple indigène Yanomami à partir de La Chute du ciel de Davi Kopenawa. Nous montrerons que le dualisme a été et continue d'être présent dans notre société, comment il affecte directement la vie et la philosophie de chacun et nous penserons l'autonomisation de ceux qui sont en dehors de ce modèle, qui passe moins par la reconnaissance de ce dualisme, que dans l'affirmation, l'acceptation et l'admiration de chaque caractéristique qui définit l'individu dans sa différence. The declension of variation. On the notion of multiplicity in Gilles Deleuze This paper aims at a reconstruction of the notion of multiplicity in the thought of the French philosopher Gilles Deleuze. To this end, our guiding thread corresponds to the relationship that this thinker establishes between the mathematical doctrine of Bernhard Riemann and the philosophy of Henri Bergson. Our purpose is to go through the various appearances of this relationship and to reconstruct the fundamental axes of an original concept of multiplicity that we believe Deleuze's thought holds. Thus, our inquiry, via a strategic journey through the Bergsonism, A Thousand Plateaus and Difference and Repetition, uncovers a double articulation for the deleuzian multiplicity. This double articulation is expressed in the two axes of thematization that we develop, namely coherence and inherence, or in other terms, a multidimensional organization and an activity of internal division. From these two axes, we believe, the notion of multiplicity describes the dynamics proper to a mouvement of continuous change or variation of nature. Sur la notion de multiplicité chez Gilles Deleuze L'objectif de ce travail est la reconstruction de la notion de multiplicité dans la pensée du philosophe français Gilles Deleuze. Pour ce faire, notre fil conducteur correspond à la relation que ce penseur établit entre la doctrine mathématique de Bernhard Riemann et la philosophie d'Henri Bergson. Notre pari consiste à parcourir les diverses apparences de cette relation et à reconstruire les axes fondamentaux d'un concept original de multiplicité qu'à notre avis la pensée de Deleuze garde. Ainsi, notre enquête, par un parcours stratégique à travers le Bergsonisme, Mille Plateaux et Différence et répétition, découvre une double articulation pour la multiplicité deleuzienne. Cette double articulation s'exprime dans les deux axes de thématisation que nous développons, à savoir la cohérence et l'inhérence, ou, en d'autres termes, une organisation multidimensionnelle et une activité de division interne. A partir de ces deux axes, la notion de multiplicité décrit la dynamique propre à un mouvement de variation continue ou de changement de la nature. The purpose of the master thesis Thomas of Ireland: De tribus sensibus sacrae scripturae - editio princeps, commentary and translation is to study the treatise De tribus sensibus sacrae scipturae. This hitherto unpublished text is part of a trilogy which also includes the treatises De tribus punctis christianae religionis and De tribus hierarchiis all written by Thomas of Ireland, an author active at the University of Paris around 1300. The latter is known chiefly for his collection of authorities called Manipulus florum, which was one of the biggest bestsellers of the time. The De tribus sensibus sacrae scripturae contains a theoretical section which briefly exposes the principles and rules of the literal and mystical exegesis of the Bible. But most of the treatise consists of an exemplary exegesis of verse Wisdom 9, 1 with long excursuses on subjects such as astronomy or translatio studii. The present work includes the critical edition of the treatise from the five known manuscripts with the ms. Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Latin 16397 as the base manuscript. The edition of the text is accompanied by a study of the manuscript tradition and a description of the manuscripts which the author has been able to access. Předmětem diplomové práce Tomáš z Irska: De tribus sensibus sacrae scripturae - editio princeps, komentář a překlad je zkoumání traktátu De tribus sensibus sacrae scripturae. Tento dosud nevydaný text je součástí trilogie, která zahrnuje také traktáty De tribus punctis christianae religionis a De tribus hierarchiis, které jsou všechny dílem Tomáše z Irska, autora působícího na Pařížské univerzitě okolo roku 1300. Ten je znám především díky své sbírce autorit, zvané Manipulus florum, která byla jedním z největších bestselerů své doby. De tribus sensibus sacrae scripturae obsahuje teoretickou část, která stručně vykládá principy a pravidla doslovného a duchovního výkladu Bible. Ale většina traktátu spočívá v příkladném výkladu verše Moudrost 9, 1 s dlouhými exkurzy o tématech jako astronomie nebo translatio studii. Tato práce obsahuje kritickou edici traktátu na základě pěti známých rukopisů díla s rukopisem Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Latin 16397 jako základním rukopisem. Contrastive Study of the Lexicon of the French and the Quebec rap: songs of rappers Nekfeu and Koriass The thesis is concerned with the comparison of the lexicon of French in France and the Quebec French studied on lyrics of songs of the French rapper Nekfeu and the Quebec rapper Koriass. The theoretic part of the thesis attempts to outline the synthesis of lexicological findings which enable us to define the particularities and the differences of both variants. The aim of the practical part is to conduct an analysis of the lyrics of songs of both rappers and to compare the use of particular lexical expressions. These expressions are subsequently examined in referential but also in unconventional, French and Quebec dictionaries. The aim of the study is to conduct a lexical analysis of texts of the corpus and to compare the use of the lexicon between the official French language and its Quebec variant. Teoretická část práce si klade za úkol vytvořit syntézu lexikologických poznatků, které umožní definovat, v čem jsou obě varianty specifické a v čem se liší. Cílem praktické části je provést analýzu textů písní těchto dvou interpretů a porovnat užití jednotlivých lexikálních jednotek. K této analýze je využit korpus textů písní obou rapperů a následně jsou tyto jednotky zkoumány v referenčních, ale i nekonvenčních, francouzských a québeckých slovnících. Práce si dává za úkol provést lexikální analýzu textů daného korpusu a porovnat užití lexika mezi oficiální francouzštinou a její québeckou variantou.
