V diplomové práci se věnuji tématu Historie skupiny bicích nástrojů orchestru Národního divadla v Praze. V úvodní kapitole pojednávám o historii orchestru a dějinách skupiny bicích nástrojů. V další části práce se zmíním o rozšiřování skupiny bicích nástrojů. Dále se zmíním o použití bicích nástrojů ve scénické hudbě a následně o nástrojovém vybavení skupiny a umístění bicích v orchestřišti. V páté kapitole se věnuji konkurznímu řízení, následuje téma mimoslužební činnosti, tzv. rozepisovači. Stěžejní částí mé práce jsou životopisy bývalých i současných členů skupiny bicích nástrojů. V přílohách přikládám několik fotografií, které mapují činnost skupiny a přehlednou tabulku s daty působení jednotlivých hráčů. In my master thesis I deal with the theme of History of group of percussion instruments in National Theatre Orchestra in Prague. In the introductory chapter I talk about the history of the orchestra and the history of the group of percussion instruments. In the next part I will mention the extension of the group of percussion instruments. I also mention the use of percussion instruments in stage music, the instrumentation and the location of the drums in the orchestra pit. In the fifth chapter I deal with the theme of the auditions, followed by the topic of out-of-service activities. The core part of my work are the biographies of the former and current members of the group of percussion instruments. In the attachment, I enclose several photographies that map the group’s activities and the table of players.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá osobností Jaroslava Šarouna, současného skladatele, klavíristy a korepetitora. Zaměřuje se na jeho umělecký a také osobní život. Hlavní důraz je kladen na jeho umělecký život, který je rozveden v několika podkapitolách. V těch je popsán jeho vývoj od mladého studenta až po klavíristu v České filharmonii. Dalším důležitým bodem je jeho pohled na hudební interpretaci a pedagogickou činnost a její principy, které předával jak na Pražské konzervatoři, tak na HAMU. Dále je v této práci rozebírán cyklus Čtyř písní na texty Torquata Tassa. Tomuto písňovému cyklu pro baryton a klavír je věnována velká pozornost z několika úhlů pohledu. This diploma thesis is dealing with the personality of Jaroslav Šaroun, contemporary composer, pianist and accompanist. It focuses on his artistic life and as well as his personal life. The main emphasis is on his artistic life, which is dealt with in several chapters. Those chapters describe his evolution from a young student to a piano player of Czech philharmony. Another important point is his view of music interpretation and of pedagogical activities and its principles, which he passed on to students, at the Prague conservatory as well as at HAMU. Furthermore a cycle of Four songs for baritone and piano with lyrics by Toquato Tasso is analyzed in this thesis and viewed from many angles.

Jako téma své magisterské práce jsem vybral komparaci herecké práce v projektovém divadle a v divadle běžného provozu. V jednotlivých kapitolách popisuji průběh zkoušení inscenací v těchto odlišných prostředích. Popisuji rozdíly v chodu obou subjektů a jejich vliv na hereckou práci. Ve své práci se opírám zejména o své zkušenosti nabrané během působení v projektech a inscenacích v souboru Tygr v tísni a zkušenosti z první sezóny v angažmá v libereckém Divadle F. X. Šaldy. As a topic of my master thesis, I chose the comparison of the actor's work in the project theater and the regular theater. In individual chapters, I describe the work in progress in these different environments. I describe the differences between both subjects and their influence on the actor's work.

V první kapitole své magisterské práce uvažuji o herectví, resp. o problematice fixace v herecké tvorbě jako o zakotvenosti v daných okolnostech jevištního aktu, v dialogu s mými představami o herectví a filozofickým pojetím člověka v příklonu k myšlenkám Martina Heideggera a nástinu jeho „Dasein”. V druhé kapitole se zaměřuji na své osobní poznatky ze studií i profesionální praxe v kontextu úvah kapitoly první. In the first chapter of my master's thesis I think about acting, resp. the problem of fixation in the actor's work as an anchor in the given circumstances of a stage act, in dialogue with my ideas of acting and the philosophical concept of the life of a creature, inclining towards the ideas of Martin Heidegger and outline of his "Dasein". In the second chapter, I focus on my personal experience of both studies and professional practice in the context of chapter one considerations.

Táto práca sa zaoberá vývojom designu fotografických prístrojov od jeho prvopočiatkov až do súčasnosti. Metodicky je obmedzená na základné myšlienky priemyselného designu, spoluprácu výrobcov s konkrétnymi designérmi a naplnenie ich cieľov. Na začiatku sa snaží nájsť bod zmeny premýšľania o kamere, moment, kedy sa k vývoju svetlocitlivého materiálu pridal vývoj objektu fotoaparátu, jeho ergonómie, funkčných prvkov a ich značenia symbolmi, či pridanej estetickej hodnoty a mapovať vplyvy a podmienky, ktoré ho formovali. Obsahuje významné spolupráce so svetoznámimi značkami (Kodak, Leica, Hasselblad, Pentax...), ich teoretické základy a problémy, rovnako tak súvislosť s mediálnym obrazom, ktorý sa k ukážkam viaže. This thesis discusses the camera design development from its very beginning until present time. Methodological is based on a basic ideas of industrial design, cooperation of brands with specific designers and achieve goals of industrial design. In the beginning, I am trying to find a breakpoint in thinking about the cameras, moment of not-only light-sensitive material development, but also adding of new ideas of camera ergonomics, the functional elements of the marking symbol or extra aesthetic value and mapping the effects and conditions to which it was formed. It contains substantial cooperation with world famous brands (Kodak, Leica, Hasselblad, Pentax ...), their theoretical basis and problems, concerning media images linked to the samples as well.

Práce se věnuje dvěma hlavním tématům vztahu fotografie a architektury a jejich vývojem v době příchodu masivní digitalizace. Technologicky zkoumá nové možnosti zachycení obrazu v rámci fotografování architektury a porovnává je s klasicky zažitými způsoby snímání z doby před používáním standardně dostupných digitálních fotografických přístrojů a počítačů. Dále popisuje nové možnosti prezentace obrazů reprezentujících architekturu, které s příchodem digitální éry fotografických přístrojů a rozvoje 3D renderování obrazu ruku v ruce rozšiřují obrazovou složku tiskových i digitálních magazínů, popř. katalogů, sociálních sítí a dalších forem prezentace architektury, díky jednoduchosti jejího pořízení i prezentování. Thesis is focusing on two main themes of the relationship between photography and architecture and their evolution over time of massive digitization. Technologically examines new possibilities of image capture within photographing architecture and compares their with classic scanning method from the time before digital cameras and computers was normally available. Another subject is description of the new possibilities concerning presentation of architecture photography in the new digital era of cameras and improved 3D rendered image, adding to image section of printed and digital magazines, catalogues, social networks and other forms of architecture presentation, all thanks to simplicity of its acquisition and presentation.

Diplomová práce se zabývá zkoumáním a popisem pohybu ve fyzickém divadle, a to konkrétně na příkladu inscenace Odtržení souboru Farma v jeskyni.
Toto představení bylo vyhlášeno jako nejlepší inscenace roku 2016 na festivalu České Taneční Platformy. Diplomová práce odkrývá zákulisí příprav inscenace, včetně studijní cesty do Japonska, a proces tvorby jednotlivých složek inscenace, popisuje obsah a pohybové ztvárnění jednotlivých scén a situací. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsem byla součástí díla jako jedna z interpretek a zároveň jsem se podílela na choreografii, využívám i svých subjektivních postřehů, sdílím se čtenářem osobní zkušenosti a ty doplňuji z rozhovorů s dalšími aktéry. The thesis studies and describes movement in physical theatre. Specifically it works with the production Odtržení of the dance group Farm in the cave.
The production was selected as the best production of the year 2016 on the festival of Czech Dance Platform. The thesis uncovers the backstage of preparations of the production, including the study stay in Japan and the process of creation of individual components of the production. It describes the content and the movement interpretation of individual scenes and situations. Since the author of the thesis took part in the production as one of its interpreters and at the same time participated in its choreography, the thesis includes subjective reflections, personal experience and interviews with other actors in the production.

Diplomová práce mapuje vznik a vývoj tance v New Yorku, jeho kulturu a možnosti tanečního působení v jednom z nejlidnatějších uměleckých měst Spojených států. Cílem mé studie bylo zjistit, jaké formy tance se objevovaly v prostředí New Yorku a jakým způsobem ovlivňovaly vývoj tance na tomto území. Práce se zabývá historickými událostmi a osobnostmi, které se podíleli na vývoji tanečního umění. V obsahu práce je zahrnuta aktuální taneční scéna a možnosti studia tance v New Yorku. Podnětem ke vzniku této práce se stala skutečnost, že v Česku neexistuje žádná souhrná studie o této problematice. This diploma thesis describes the origin and development of dance in New York, its culture and the possibilities of dancing in one of the most artistic cities of the United States. The aim of my study was to find out what forms of dance appeared in the New York environment and how they influenced the development of dance in this area. The diploma thesis deals with historical events and personalities who participated in the development of dance art. The content of the thesis includes the current dance scene and the possibilities of studying dance in New York. The fact that there is no comprehensive study in the Czech Republic on this issue has become a stimulus for the creation this thesis.

Directing for Devised Theatre

In this thesis I will reflect on my creative journey of being a director for groups working with Devised Theatre. From the first attempts at creating a play and the awareness of the satisfaction I feel during the creation process, to the years at ‘TeArt’ when I learned the hard way what it means to be a director in a group of equals; On my studies in two schools, DAMU and RESAD, and what I learned there improving my skills, to the latest project in which I believe I put all the knowledge I acquired into practice. A reflection that juxtaposes theories on Devised Theatre and Collaborative Creation with my own personal experiences. V této práci se budu zabývat svým kreativním procesem jakožto režiséra souborů, které se věnují autorskému divadlu. Od prvních pokusů vytvořit hru a pocitů zadostiučinění, které jsem během kreativního procesu pociťoval, až po roky v,,TeArt”, kde jsem si na vlastní kůži vyzkoušel, co to znamená být režisérem skupiny sobě rovných kreativních jedinců; Dále se budu věnovat svým studiím na dvou školách, DAMU a Resad. Tomu, co jsem se během těchto let v průběhu prohlubování mých dovedností naučil, až k poslednímu projektu, ve kterém věřím, že jsem převedl do praxe všechny své získané znalosti. Jedná se o úvahu, která klade vedle sebe teorii autorského divadla a mojí vlastní dosaženou praxi.

The topic of this master thesis is to explore the methods and principles of movement education at the Department of Authorial Creativity and Pedagogy (KATaP). The Authorial Acting program in English started in 2015. Throughout the span of two years, movement classes are taught by three professors. All of them have different approaches, yet they strive towards the same goal – that students gain a higher awareness of their body and can attain better control over their everyday movement habits as well as their movement on stage. Though the study program is designed as a mirror of the Czech program, changes were made due to the different cultures, temperament and skills of the English program students. This represents a great opportunity to revise how movement is being taught at the department.
The body of this thesis is divided into three major chapters dealing with: posture, space and imagination. Each chapter includes a description of exercises that we did in KATaP movement classes related to a specific topic. Sources for the exercise descriptions as well as my reflection on how I felt and what changes I experienced during and after the exercise are taken from my class notes and semester reflections. At the same time, each topic is explored through published theory to give the movement classes a theoretical perspective. The last chapter is devoted to exploring the connection between imagination and movement and how this affects an actor's creativity.
The main motivation for writing this thesis is my appreciation for the transformation my body has undergone during my studies at KATaP. That is why I believe that many can benefit from its content be it theoreticians, teachers or other practitioners in the world of performing arts as well as people who are simply interested in learning something new about their bodies. Tématem této magistrské práce je průzkum metod a principů pohybové výchovy, která je vyučována na Katedře Autorské tvorby a Pedagogiky (KATaP). Magisterské studium Herectví se zaměřením na autorskou tvorbu a pedagogiku začalo být vyučováno na DAMU v roce 2015. V průběhu dvou let jsou pohybové kurzy vyučovány třemi profesory. Všichni tři mají odlišné pojetí výuky, avšak usilují o společný cíl – aby studenti získali větší povědomí o svým těle a dosáhli lepší kontroly nad každodenními pohybovými návyky, stejnak tak i o pohybu na jevišti. Přestože je program navržen jako obdoba česky vyučovaného programu, různorodost kultury a temperamentu studentů přispěla k určitým obměnám, což představuje velkou příležitost, jakým směrem se obor na katedře vyvíjí.
Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol, které se zabývají: držením těl, prostorem a představivostí. Každá kapitola zahrnuje popis cvičení, jež bylo součástí kurzu pohybu na KATaPu a které se vztahuje k danému tématu. Zdrojem popisu cvičení, stejně tak úvah a změn, které jsem pociťovala v průběhu a po cvičení, jsou převzaty z mých poznámek a ze semestrálních poznatků. Každá kapitola je podložena publikovanou teorií, jež dodává pohybovým kurzům teoretický základ. Poslední kapitola je věnována průzkumu vztahu mezi představivostí a pohybem a jak tento vztah ovlivňuje hercovu kreativitu.
Hlavním motivem pro vznik diplomové práce je můj vděk za transformaci, kterou si mé tělo prošlo během studia na KATaPu. To je důvod, proč se domnívám, že obsah výuky mého oboru je obohacující jednak pro teoretiky, učitele nebo jiné odborníky ve světě múzických umění, stejně tak jako pro lidi, kteří mají jen zájem dozvědět se něco jiného o svém těle.
