The aim of this master thesis is to investigate the impact of teaching analytical search strategies on information seeking behaviour in the academic environment of the CTU university and to assess this importance in the teaching of students from the position of a teaching librarian. The thesis is processed from theoretical and practical perspectives. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to a review of terminology and the current state of knowledge in the field of information seeking behaviour. In more detail, this section describes the various elements related to the issues of search strategies, information resources and the role of academic libraries in information education in order to understand their role in the process of information retrieval. The practical part presents the interpreted results based on the conducted questionnaire survey, which are an important basis for evaluating the effectiveness of teaching and assessing its impact on the information behaviour of students in the academic environment of CTU. Táto diplomová práca sa zameriava na skúmanie vplyvu výuky rešerš- ných stratégií v rámci informačnej gramotnosti v akademickom prostredí Českého vysokého učení technického v Prahe (ČVUT) a hodnotenie dôležitosti tohto as- pektu vo výučbe študentov z pohľadu učiaceho knihovníka. Práca túto skutočnosť rieši z teoretického i praktického hľadiska. Teoretická časť práce sa venuje pre- hľadu, terminológii a súčasného stavu poznania v oblasti informačného správania v rámci vyhľadávania informácií. Detailnejšie sa v tejto časti popisujú jednot- livé prvky súvisiace s problematikou rešeršných stratégií, informačných zdrojov a úlohy akademických knižníc v informačnom vzdelávaní, aby sa porozumelo ich úlohe v procese vyhľadávania a spracovávania informácií. Praktická časť pred- kladá interpretované výsledky vychádzajúce z realizovaného dotazníkového pries- kumu, ktoré boli dôležitým základom na hodnotenie účinnosti výuky a zhod- notenie jej vplyvu na informačné správanie študentov v akademickom prostredí ČVUT. 1 Consent to adoption of minor Abstract The diploma thesis deals with current legal regulation of consent to adoption. The thesis is divided into six parts, in which the regulation of consent to adoption in Czech legal system is discussed, with the aim to provide comprehensive explanation of consent to adoption. In the first part, the author deals with the adoption in general. Author explains the basic terms that are key for understanding the issue itself, namely child, child available for adoption, best interest of the child. Author also discusses the requirements to adopt a child and the process of adoption. The author also focusses on international treaties that govern an adoption. The second part deals with the legal regulation of parental consent and mention specific reasons when parental consent for adoption is not required. The consent of parent of the adopted child is also discussed with the regard to the status of parent suffering from a mental disorder, as well as the parent with no capacity to act. Author also discusses the consent of adopted child regarding to participation rights of a child. Finally, the author discusses the consent of adoptive parent's spouse. Súhlas s osvojením maloletého Abstrakt Diplomová práca sa venuje súčasnej právnej úprave súhlasu s osvojením. Práca je rozdelená do šiestich častí, v ktorých autorka rozoberá úpravu súhlasu s osvojením v českom právnom poriadku, s cieľom poskytnúť ucelený výklad problematiky súhlasu s osvojením. V prvej časti sa autorka venuje obecne právnemu inštitútu osvojenia. Vymedzuje základné pojmy, ktoré sú kľúčové pre pochopenie samotnej problematiky, a to konkrétne pojmy dieťa, osvojiteľné dieťa, najlepší záujem dieťaťa. Ďalej sú rozobraté predpoklady osvojenia a osvojovací proces. Autorka venuje pozornosť aj medzinárodným zmluvám rozhodným pre osvojenie. V druhej časti sa zaoberá právnou úpravou súhlasu rodiča, preberá možné výnimky, kedy sa k osvojeniu maloletého nevyžaduje súhlas rodiča. Súhlasu rodiča osvojovaného dieťaťa sa venuje aj s ohľadom na postavenie rodiča, ktorý trpí duševnou poruchou, ale i rodiča obmedzeného v svojprávnosti. Ďalej skúma súhlas osvojovaného dieťaťa, najmä vo vzťahu k jeho participačným právam. Konečne je rozobratý súhlas manžela osvojiteľa. Tretia časť práce sa venuje zániku účinkov súhlasu rodiča osvojovaného dieťaťa a možnosti odvolania súhlasu rodičom. The aim of the final thesis will be to examine the Slovak community in Prague during the socalled normalization period. The year 1968 is set as a fundamental milestone when significant events took place in the development of Czechoslovakia. In the thesis, we will be interested in the motivations behind the arrival of Slovaks in Prague, their assimilation in the new environment, and how they perceived the different cultural surroundings. An important assumption is that Slovaks came to Prague in order to improve their standard of living. At the same time, the scope of our research is limited to the 1970s, and we will attempt to analyze in more detail the experiences of Slovaks in Prague who migrated during this period. Cieľom záverečnej práce bude pozrieť sa na komunitu Slovákov v Prahe v čase tzv. normalizácie. Rok 1968 je stanovený ako základný medzník, kedy sa odohrali prelomové udalosti vo vývoji Československa. V práci nás bude zaujímať, aké boli motivácie príchodu Slovákov do Prahy, aká bola ich asimilácia v novom prostredí, respektíve ako vnímali iné kultúrne prostredie. Dôležitým predpokladom je príchod Slovákov do Prahy z dôvodu vylepšenia životnej úrovne. Zároveň je okruh nášho výskumu obmedzený na sedemdesiate roky a pokúsime sa detailnejšie rozobrať osudy pražských Slovákov, ktorí sa prisťahovali do Prahy v tomto období.

This thesis deals with financial time series models and their implementation in soft- ware products. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a description of the volatility models ARCH, GARCH, IGARCH, ARCH-M, GARCH-M, EGARCH and GJR-GARCH and their basic properties. The practical part examines and describes the implementation of the volatility models in the software products Mathematica, EViews and R. Tutorials on the use of each function are included, along with descriptions of the software inputs and outputs in the form of illustrative examples on simulated data and their application to real data. 1 Táto práca sa zaoberá modelmi finančných časových radov a ich implementáciou v softvérových produktoch. Teoretická časť práce obsahuje popis modelov volatility ARCH, GARCH, IGARCH, ARCH-M a GARCH-M, EGARCH a GJR-GARCH a ich základných vlastností. Praktická časť skúma a popisuje implementáciu modelov volatility v softvéro- vých produktoch Mathematica, EViews a R. Súčasťou sú návody na použitie jednotlivých funkcií spolu s popisom vstupov a výstupov zo softvérov v podobe ilustračných príkladov na simulovaných dátach a aplikáciou na reálne dáta. 1

Delta metoda a její zobecnění

The goals of this thesis are various generalizations of the classical delta theorem, in which the advantage is that we can separately investigate the analytical properties of transformation of the estimate, and independently, we can deal with asymptotic properties of the original estimate. When working with Euclidean spaces, we generalize the delta theorem for the case that partial derivatives are not continuous or they are equal to zero. When working with general normed linear spaces, we first examine Hadamard- differentiability, while formulating and proving equivalence with Fréchet-differentiability, under proper assumptions. We demonstrate the functional delta theorem on known results for empirical quantiles and median absolute deviation in the case of a random sample, together with our own result for the interquartile range and empirical quantiles in the case of AR(d) sequence. We also show why the functional delta theorem is not usable for moment estimators. In the last part, we examine the Hadamard-differentiability of a copula functional and its application to the derivation of the asymptotic distribution of the empirical copula. 1 Cieľom tejto práce sú rôzne zovšeobecnenia klasickej delta vety, ktorej výhoda spočíva v tom, že sa môžeme zvlášť zaoberať analytickými vlastnosťami príslušnej transformácie a nezávisle na tom môžeme skúmať asymptotické vlastnosti pôvodného odhadu. Nad eukli- dovskými priestormi zovšeobecňujeme delta vetu pre prípad nespojitých alebo nulových parciálnych derivácií. Nad všeobecnými normovanými lineárnymi priestormi sa najprv zaoberáme Hadamardovou deriváciou, pričom formulujeme a dokazujeme, za akých pod- mienok je ekvivalentná s Fréchetovou deriváciou. Funkcionálnu delta vetu demonštrujeme na známych výsledkoch pre výberové kvantily a mediánovú absolútnu odchýlku v prípade náhodného výberu spolu s vlastnými výsledkami na interkvartilové rozpätie, výberové kvantily pri AR(d) procesoch a nepoužiteľnosť funkcionálnej delta vety na momentové odhady. V poslednej časti rozoberáme Hadamardovu deriváciu copule a jej uplatnenie k odvodeniu asymptotického rozdelenia empirickej copule. 1

Automatická detekce fake-news na slovenských textech

Fake news is a problem in recent years. This study focuses on detecting fake news written in the Slovak language using text classification methods. It is unique because it is the first to conduct such a comprehensive set of experiments on Slovak. During the study, a balanced dataset was created, and over 80 experiments were conducted to find the optimal classifier for the problem. Pre-trained transformer-based language models, including BERT, mBERT, RoBERTA, XLM-RoBERTa, and SlovakBERT, were used in the initial step of the study, and their performance was compared against other machine learning methods using standard metrics. The models were fine-tuned with LIAR and COVID19 FN, English-language datasets, to test the impact of fake news topics and language transfer properties. SlovakBERT combined with training exclusively on Slovak datasets achieved the best results with an (acc = 0.9610). This study can contribute to the development of tools to automatically detect fake news in Slovak, aiding in the fight against the spread of false information. 1 Šírenie fake-news je dlhodobým problémom, ale v posledných rokoch sa stáva ešte výraznejším. Preto sme v tejto práci analyzovali problém ich automatickej detekcie ako úlohu klasifikácie textu. Práca sa od iných, jej podobných štúdií, odlišuje primárne v tom, že sa zameriava na slovenčinu, kde doposiaľ nebola vykonaná takáto rozsiahla sada experi- mentov. Počas testov sme vytvorili vybalansovaný dataset. Vykonali sme taktiež viac ako 80 experimentov s cieľom nájsť optimálny klasifikátor pre riešenie tohto problému. Ako prvý sme použili predtrénované jazykové modely typu Transformer (BERT, mBERT, Ro- BERTA, XLM-RoBERTa a SlovakBERT) a pomocou štandardných metrík sme porovnali ich výkonnosť s inými metódami strojového učenia. Pre fine-tuning sme použili aj ang- lické datasety LIAR a COVID19 FN, na ktorých sme otestovali vplyv témy fake-news a prenos vlastnosti medzi jazykmi. Najlepšie výsledky dosiahol SlovakBERT v kombiná- cii s tréningom na výlučne slovenskom datasete (acc = 0, 9610). 1

Often the motivation behind building a statistical model is to provide prediction for an outcome of interest. In the context of survival analysis it is important to distingu- ish between two types of time-varying covariates and take into careful consideration the appropriate type of analysis. Joint model for longitudinal and time-to-event data, in con- trast to standard Cox model, enables to account for continuous change of the covariate over time in the survival model. In this thesis two examples of joint models are presen- ted, the shared random-effect model and the joint latent class model. Bayesian estimation of the model parameters and summary of methodology for dynamic prediction of indi- vidual survival probability is provided for the first one of the aforementioned types of models. Application of the theoretical knowledge is illustrated in the analysis of the data on primary biliary cirrhosis. The impact of number of patients, number of longitudinal measurements and per-cent of censoring on the quality of prediction and estimates of the model parameters is examined in the simulation study. 1 Častou motiváciou na budovanie štatistického modelu je predikcia výsledkov. V kon- texte analýzy prežitia je dôležité rozlišovať dva druhy časovo premenlivých prediktorov a starostlivo zvážiť voľbu prežívacieho modelu. Združený model pre longitudinálne a cen- zorované dáta umožňuje, oproti štandardnému Coxovmu modelu, zohľadniť spojitý vývoj longitudinálnej premennej v čase v modeli prežitia. V práci sú uvedené dva typy zdru- žených modelov, združený model so spoločnými náhodnými efektami a združený model s latentnými kategóriami. Pre prvý spomínaný typ modelu je podrobne popísané baye- sovské odhadovanie parametrov a zhrnutá metodika dynamickej predikcie individuálnej pravdepodobnosti prežitia. Teoretické poznatky sú aplikované v ilustračnej analýze dát k primárnej biliárnej cirhóze. Následne je v simulačnej štúdii skúmaný vplyv počtu pa- cientov, počtu longitudinálnych meraní a percenta cenzorovania na kvalitu predikcií a odhady parametrov modelu. 1

Diploma thesis "Hannah Arendt's Understanding of Revolution in the Context of Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms: The problem of a Reluctant Approach to the Solution of the Social Question and Political Participation", discusses the contrasting process and outcome of two revolutions, American and French, in the work On Revolution by Hannah Arendt. Different revolutionary processes unfolded based on specific socio-economic conditions and influences, such as emotions or necessity. In addition to examining different aspects of the given revolutions, we will also look into Arendt's criticism, which was primarily earned by the French Revolution and the social issue associated with it. In Arendt's understanding, it was not appropriate within the framework of the revolutionary goals that a social issue was added to the acquisition of freedom and fundamental human rights. Even though good social state of people is crucial for the revolutionary success, because when people are socially low, along with it comes state of necessity and a strong emotional response of people, which in the revolutionary context, as well as in the context of political participation, she tends to criticize a lot. The work will therefore look at Arendt's perception of freedom, and the responsibility associated with the political... Diplomová práca "Revolúcia u Hannah Arendtovej v kontexte základných ľudských práv a slobôd: Problém reluktantného prístupu k riešeniu sociálnej otázky a politickej participácie", pojednáva o kontrastnom priebehu a výsledku dvoch revolúcií, Americkej a Francúzskej, v spise O Revolúcií od Hannah Arendtovej. Odlišné revolučné priebehy sa odvíjali na základe konkrétnych sociálno-ekonomických podmienok a vplyvov, ako boli emócie či nutnosť. Okrem skúmania rozdielnych aspektov daných revolúcií, budeme nazerať aj na Arendtovej kritiku, ktorú si primárne vyslúžila Francúzska revolúcia a s ňou spojená sociálna otázka. V Arendtovej ponímaní v rámci revolučných cieľov nebolo vhodné, aby k získaniu slobody a základných ľudských práv, bola pridaná aj sociálna otázka, ktorá je v rámci revolučného úspechu kľúčová, keďže spolu s ňou prichádzajú stavy nutnosti a silné emočné zápaly u ľudí, ktoré v tomto kontexte, ako aj v kontexte politickej participácie, tak veľmi kritizuje. Práca bude preto nazerať aj na Arendtovej vnímanie slobody, a s ňou spojenou zodpovednosťou v rámci politickej a verejnej sféry. Typologie a distribuce luxusních šperků "velkomoravského" stylu na území Čech a Slovenska

This thesis is further developing and extending the theme of the my bachelor's thesis, which is focused on jewelry of the Great Moravian horizon in the territory of Bohemia and Slovakia. The first question deals with the distribution of individual types of "Great Moravian" jewelry, mainly by looking for distribution patterns of individual types. The second question deals with the age of the deceased and the number of jewels in the grave equipment. The last third question deals with the social role of luxury jewelry in early medieval society. The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the understanding of the mechanisms of the distribution of luxury objects throughout society in the early Middle Ages. Práca nadväzuje a rozširuje tému bakalárskej práce, ktorá je zameraná na šperky veľkomoravského horizontu na území Čiech a Slovenska. Prvá otázka sa venuje distribúcii jednotlivých typov "veľkomoravských" šperkov, predovšetkým hľadaním distribučných vzorcov jednotlivých typov. Druhou dôležitou oblasťou je analýza vzťahov medzi kvantitou a kvalitou výbavy a vekovými charakteristikami zosnulých. Posledná tretia otázka sa venuje sociálnej roli luxusných šperkov v rane stredovekej spoločnosti. Cieľom práce je snaha prispieť k pochopeniu mechanizmov distribúcie luxusných predmetov naprieč rane stredovekov spoločnosťou.

This diploma thesis titled "Crisis communication of anti-pandemic measures of the government of the Slovak Republic during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020/2021" employs a case study approach, analyzing the crisis communication of government institutions throughout the entirety of the pandemic, up until the official visit of Pope Francis to the Slovak Republic. The significance of institutional communication during times of crisis has been overlooked in professional literature, as the topic has not received adequate attention until the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. The crisis communication strategies employed by the Government of the Slovak Republic during the pandemic were characterized by chaos, lack of organization, and inconsistencies. Such issues negatively impacted the government's ability to effectively manage the crisis, highlighting the importance of effective institutional communication during such challenging times. Téme inštitucionálnej komunikácie počas krízy nie je venovaná náležitá pozornosť v odbornej literatúre a jej dôležitosť vyšla na povrch až v priebehu pandémie choroby Covid-19, počas ktorej chaotická, nesystematická, nekontinuálna a nekonzistentná komunikácia vlády SR negatívne ovplyvnila schopnosť krízu efektívne riešiť.
