This work is dedicated to the study of the dialect of Spanish at Yucatan Peninsula (Mexico). The work is divided into three sections. In the first part, the basic concepts related to the subject of the work are delimited. The second part focuses on the evolution of Spanish and Amerindian languages in Mexico, as well it includes the linguistic situation at Yucatan Peninsula and characterizes the Mayan languages. As for the third part, it consists of the analysis of Spanish of Yucatan, it includes descriptions of characteristics of phonetics, morphology and lexicology. The work emphasizes the influence of Mayan language on the dialect. Tato práce se zabývá problematikou španělského dialektu na Yucatanském poloostrově (Mexiko). Práce je rozdělena do tří sekcí. V první části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy spojené s tématem práce. Druhá část se zaměřuje na vývoj španělštiny a indiánských jazyků v Mexiku, dále pak na lingvistickou situaci na Yucatanském poloostrově a charakterizuje mayské jazyky. Třetí část se skládá z analýzy yucatanské španělštiny, obsahuje rozbor fonetických, morfologických a lexikálních rysů jmenovaného dialektu. Práce klade důraz na vliv mayských jazyků na tento dialekt.

Cyril Navrátil FF UK Universita Karlova Románská studia - NMgr. Hispanistika 2013/2014 Abstract The purpose of this essay is to study neoclassical composition. The denomination of this method of word-formation already caused disagreements among the linguists. Many authors name it prefixation (affixation), while others believe that it is a special type of composition, whose components (or at least one of them) take their origins from Latin or Greek. Even though the majority of the Spanish lexicon comes from these languages (mainly from Latin), this type of composition follows some particular rules. In this essay, we do not intend to say who is right and who is wrong, but to demonstrate the current situation of the neoclassical composition in modern Spanish, using the corpus. Nevertheless, it is not possible to completely ignore the different points of view of these authors, who are acclaimed in the academic world. Therefore we decided to divide this study in a theoretic part and a practical one. In the theoretic part, we will recapitulate the terminology used and we will try and choose the most convenient definition for this method. In the practical part, we will see twenty examples of Greco-Latin elements: auto, cida/cidio, cracia/crata (arca/arquía), cripto, crono, eco, euro, filo/filia, foto, narco, neo,... Již jen snaha pojmenovat tuto slovotvornou metodu vyvolává nesváry mezi jazykovědci. Někteří autoři tento postup nazývají prefixace (afixace), podle jiných se jedná o zvláštní druh kompozice, jejíž komponenty (nebo alespoň jeden z nich) pochází z latiny či z řečtiny. Ačkoliv většina španělské slovní zásoby pochází právě z těchto jazyků (především z latiny), neoklasická kompozice se řídí vlastními pravidly. Metou naší studie není dát za pravdu těm, či oněm, nýbrž ukázat současný stav tohoto druhu kompozice v současné španělštině za pomoci korpusu. Není nicméně možná zcela přejít různá stanoviska k tomuto tématu, která zastávají autoři uznávaní na akademické půdě. Proto jsme se rozhodli rozdělit práci na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části zrekapitulujeme terminologii, již budeme používat, a pokusíme se vybrat nejméně napadnutelnou definici neoklasické kompozice. V části praktické se zaměříme na dvacet konkrétních případů: auto, cida/cidio, cracia/crata (arca/arquía), cripto, crono, eco, euro, filo/filia, foto, narco, neo, pan/omni, para, pedo, porno, pseudo/suedo, teca, tele, teo, video, které vyhledáme ve dvou rozdílných korpusech. The intention of my thesis Hopscotch by Cortázar - a game in many games was to analyze the novel in its ludic dimension. I tried to see the game as a multiplicative element and, at the same time, as an element that provides unit to the work. Therefore, I use as an interpretative instrument the semantic gesture of Jan Mukařovský. However, I do not intend to utilize this term in his whole meaning, I wanted to study the multiplicity and unit of the game, exploring some of the aspects of the semantic gesture. Despite the game has dynamic features, it also has two concrete forms in the novel. Hopscotch is many games, but especially is two: esthetic and moral game. When I speak about the esthetic game, I refer to the formal aspects of the novel. I tried to study the esthetic game in its multiplicative dimension, as well as an element that creates unit in the dynamics of the novel. Therefore, I my research went through the formal aspects of the work. I observed the problem of the name, genre, structure and the relations between characters, readers and the author. On one hand, the novel is presented, thanks to the game, as an open, infinite book. The ludic element also provides to the author an instrument to play with the structure of the novel, creating infinite possibilities of lecture. At the third... Zámerom mojej diplomovej práce Cortázarova Rayuela - hra v mnoha hrách je analyzovať tému hry, ktorá má v diele argentínskeho spisovateľa podobu mnohotvárneho a ambivalentného prvku. K naplneniu tohto zámeru som využila ako interpretačný nástroj termín sémantické gesto Jana Mukařovského. Mojím cieľom však nebolo interpretovať Cortázarov román v zmysle štúdia českého vedca, skôr som použila jeho termín ako oporu pri riešení problému hry. Otázka sémantického gesta mi umožnila vidieť hru v diele Rayuela ako mnohotvárny a zároveň zjednocujúci prvok. Jedná sa teda o dynamický motív (Rayuela je mnoho hier), ktorý sa zároveň v diele prejavuje dvojakým spôsobom ako hra estetická a morálna. Estetickou hrou sa myslia formálne aspekty diela. Motív hry je v románe nielen dynamickým prvkom, ale jedná sa zároveň o zjednocujúci element, ktorý spája jednotlivé aspekty diela. Z tej perspektívy som skúmala názov, žáner, štruktúra diela a tiež vzťah postáv, čitateľa a autora. Motív hry umožňuje autorovi, aby experimentoval s žánrom diela (otvorený román) a taktiež s jej štruktúrou. Vďaka hre román predstavuje nekonečné množstvo možných čítaní. Okrem toho som sa zamerala na jazyk diela. Vďaka hre autor pretvára jazykovú stránku románu. Avšak "ludens" je tým aspektom, ktorý dodáva zároveň jazyku diela jednotu. Nakoniec...

Variation in Cuban Spanish Abstract The aim of this thesis is to deal with the topic of variation in Cuban Spanish, with a special emphasis on the Havana variety, one of the most innovative and recognizable within the island's linguistic landscape. The work is divided into three sections: phonetics and phonology, lexis and semantics, morphology and syntax. The cases described are illustrated with entries taken from a lexico- graphical work of personal authorship, or likewise with usage examples mainly taken from the Reference Corpus of Contemporary Spanish (CREA). On the basis of the analysis of the collected data, this paper examines the state of variability and balance inherent to the system, in order to deepen in the understanding of the mechanisms that shape this language variety. Práce je rozdělena do tří sekcí: fonetika a fonologie, lexikologie a sémantika, morfologie a syntax. Popsané případy jsou ilustrovány hesly převzatými z autorovy lexikografické práce nebo také příklady použití převážně převzatými z Referenčního korpusu současné španělštiny (CREA). Na základě rozboru nashromážděných údajů se zkoumá stav variability a rovnováhy inherent- ních systému. Záměrem je prohloubit pochopení mechanismů, které vytvářejí tuto jazykovou variantu. The main objective of this work was to analyze the social discrimination in Peru from historical social perspective. The work is divided into two main parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part we dealt with the analysis of various concepts that have been formulated by leading international organizations. In the practical part we analyze discrimination in the media such as television and in addition, we are also dedicated to social discrimination against residents of Lima is perceived today. This thesis focuses on the realization of high front vowel in Czech and Spanish, with respect to second language acquisition. In the first part, general theoretical concepts are explained, such as fossilization, SLA, critical period, and SLA model designed by Flege (1995) and also a comparison of the Spanish and Czech vowel is given. As Czech and Spanish vocalic systems are very similar, the subtile phonetic differences are to be detected in the second part where realizations of these two vowels in selected consonantal contexts are analysed. Diplomová práce se zabývá osvojováním španělského vokalického systému českými studenty, konkrétně výslovností přední vysoké hlásky i, která v češtině v posledním století zaznamenala významný artikulační posun. V první, teoretické části práce se vysvětlují relevantní pojmy a porovnávají se základní vlastnosti české a španělské hlásky i. Ve druhé části se pak přistupuje ke zkoumání této hlásky v konkrétních kontextech (tj. v blízkosti bilabilály, alveoláry/dentály, palatály, veláry, uvuláry) a zjišťují se hlavní tendence v české a španělské výslovnosti, se zvláštním zřetelem k osvojované formě španělštiny. Jejím hlavním cílem je zjistit, zda Evo Morales jde ve šlépějích Huga Cháveze a porovnat výsledky jejich dosavadních reforem. This thesis analyzes the political, economic and social changes during the presidency of Evo Morales in Bolivia and Hugo Chávez in Venezuela. Its main goal is to find out whether Evo Morales follows Hugo Chávez directions and to compare the recent results of the applied reforms. Esta tesis analiza los cambios políticos, económicos y sociales en Bolivia bajo el gobierno de Evo Morales y en Venezuela bajo el gobierno de Hugo Chávez. Su objetivo principal es averiguar si Evo Morales sigue los pasos de Hugo Chávez y comparar los resultados de las reformas aplicadas.

Transcendetálno v díle "Yzur" od Leopolda Lugonese

The diploma thesis attempts to identify transcendental elements of "Yzur", a short story by Leopoldo Lugones. The thesis propounds several theoretical-practical methods regarding the matter. One of the methods is to compare "Yzur" to "Persona", the work of art of the Swedish film maker and screenwriter Ingmar Bergman. The comparison of both texts is based on their complementary reading. It is possible to determinate this way the transcendental points of the short story emerging from the following interlaced levels of the texts: the linguistic level, the stylistic level, the structural level, the thematic level and the interpretative one. One of the most outstanding transcendental elements of "Yzur" is precisely the richness of the possible interpretations. Other important transcendental features include the ambiguity, the contrasts and the active participation of the reader. Key words: Leopoldo Lugones, Persona, Ingmar Bergman, transcendental RESUMEN La presente tesis de diploma aspira a determinar los elementos trascendentales del cuento "Yzur" de Leopoldo Lugones. El trabajo propone varios procedimientos teórico- prácticos al respecto. Uno de los procedimientos es la comparación de "Yzur" con la obra "Persona" del cineasta sueco Ingmar Bergman. El análisis comparativo de ambas obras se basa en su lectura complementaria. De tal manera es posible determinar varios planos de entrecruzamiento que participan en el mecanismo trascendental del cuento y corresponden a los siguientes planos del texto: el nivel lingüístico, estilístico, estructural, temático y el interpretativo. Es precisamente la riqueza interpretativa uno de los elementos trascendentales más destacados de "Yzur".
