2012 - Czech The aim of my bachelor thesis is to capture the differences and to find the similarities in the legend of Skeleton of Chynov, which is compiled in many varieties. For the analysis I have chosen the oldest version of the legend, which was printed in the magazine Český lid by František Domorázek. Another adaptation was captured by Radovan Krátký. Finally, Hynek Klimek was also interested in this legend. I pay close attention to the analysis of the main motifs which are typical in individual adaptations. I also try to characterise the characters which appear in the legend, the motivation for their behaviour and moral lesson. Moreover, I explain the term of legend. The aim is to compare the three interpretations by means of motifs and to find similar legends of Southern Bohemia. Účelem mé bakalářské práce je zachytit rozdíly a najít shody v pověsti o chýnovském kostlivci, jež je zpracována ve více variacích. K rozboru jsem zvolila nejstarší podobu pověsti, kterou otiskl v časopise Český lid František Domorázek, další variantu zpracoval Radovan Krátký, a naposled pověst zaujala Hynka Klimka. Nejvyšší pozornost věnuji analýze hlavních motivů typických pro jednotlivá zpracování. Dále se pokusím charakterizovat postavy, které v pověsti vystupují, motivaci jejich jednání a mravní poučení z pověsti vyplývající. Neopomenu vysvětlit pojem pověst. Za cíl si kladu porovnat převážně pomocí motivů tři interpretace a najít podobné pověsti z koutů jižních Čech. Floods in the South Bohemia Region

2010 - Czech Floods in the South Bohemia Region The first chapter provides general information including the current legislation of the Czech Republic pertinent to crisis management, floods, crisis situation and crisis state definition, and the categorisation of events/disasters, including flood. The important role of urbanism which affects the course and consequences of floods is also discussed. The second part deals with the issue of floods, their origin, classification, floodprotection measures and forecasting as connected with the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute whose functions and procedures are described. The main part presents results of the field survey carried out in the municipalities affected by floods in the South Bohemia. I describe, compare and analyze the last great floods in the years 1997, 2002 and 2006 in the Czech Republic, or the South Bohemia Region. Their intensity, progress, meteorological reasons and damages which they caused are evaluated. I generalize the factors with a direct influence on the extent of damages, including social and economic impact. In conclusion of this part, the danger of floods in the world is also mentioned. In the final part of my thesis, climatologists{\crq} opinions on global warming and the possible causation of this threat with floods are presented. The result is the confirmation or invalidation of the working hypothesis which I set for my thesis. Povodně v Jihočeském kraji První kapitola má obecný význam a představuji zde legislativu České republiky vztahující se ke krizovému řízení, k povodním, definici krizové situace, krizového stavu a kategorizaci událostí/katastrof, zahrnujících povodeň. Také se věnuji důležité roli ovlivňující průběh a následky povodní - urbanismu. Druhá část se váže k problematice povodní, jejich původu, klasifikaci, protipovodňovým opatřením a předpovědí spojených s Českým hydrometeorologickým ústavem, jehož funkce a činnosti jsou zde popsány. Meritem hlavní části diplomové práce jsou výstupy z terénního šetření v obcích Jihočeského kraje, které byly zasaženy povodněmi. Popisuji, porovnávám, analyzuji poslední velké povodně v letech 1997, 2002 a 2006 v České republice, resp. v Jihočeském kraji. Hodnotím jejich intensitu, vývoj (postup), meteorologické důvody a škody, které způsobily,zobecňuji faktory, které měly přímý dopad na rozsah škod, včetně sociálních a ekonomických dopadů. Tuto část uzavírám zmínkou o nebezpečí povodní ve světě. V poslední části diplomové práce zmiňuji názory klimatologů na globální oteplování a možnou příčinnou souvislost této hrozby s povodněmi. Výstupem je potvrzení/vyvrácení pracovní hypotézy, kterou jsem si stanovil v zadání diplomové práce. Unemployment of graduates´ in southern Bohemia

2008 - Czech The aim of my diploma paper is summing up of graduates´ unemployment in southern Bohemia. The purpose of the paper is to create a compact image of labour market in the Czech Republic and to describe main factors influencing this market in the Czech Republic. My paper should touch state unemployment policy, to chart unemployment in southern Bohemia with the reflection on graduates´ unemployment, chart the structure of unemployed graduates, their possibilities at the labour market in the Czech Republic, to propose possibilities for the decrease of graduates´ unemployment in southern Bohemia. My survey is based on the data from Labour Market Situation Report from several Bureaus of Labour, data from Czech Statistic Office and Ministry of Labour and Social Issues. The graduates themselves are one off the most risk companies from the people who are economically active. The claiming of these groups is worse. The graduates are disadvantaged in comparison with other job applicants {--} less praxes, missing work habits and lox experience. The graduates´ unemployment rage is highly influenced by economical situation in our country, total unemployment, free working station offer degree and rate between supply and demand. It is also influenced by educational structure of graduates at the same time. The employers´ interest in graduates has been increasing. The loss of people at qualified positions is very important {--} firms are forced to offer free positions even to the people with smaller or no praxes. Another reason for the increase is policy development itself, primarily in financial sphere, car industry and in services. Last but not least, graduates´ attractively has been increasing hand in hand with improving quality of their profiles. Cílem diplomové práce bylo zhodnocení nezaměstnanosti absolventů v Jihočeském kraji. Popsat trh práce v České republice a hlavní faktory ovlivňující trh práce v České republice. Práce se dále měla dotknout Státní politiky zaměstnanosti v České republice. Zmapování nezaměstnanosti v Jihočeském kraji se zaměřením na nezaměstnanost absolventů. Zjistit strukturu nezaměstnaných absolventů, jejich možnosti uplatnění na trhu práce v České republice, navrhnout možnosti na snížení nezaměstnanosti absolventů v Jihočeském kraji. Zkoumanou oblastí byl Jihočeský kraj, se sídlem v Českých Budějovicích, vymezený územím okresů České Budějovice, Český Krumlov, Jindřichův Hradec, Písek, Prachatice, Strakonice a Tábor. Informace jsem čerpala ze Zpráv o situaci na trhu práce jednotlivých Úřadů práce a z údajů Českého statistického úřadu. Při charakterizování trhu práce a jeho faktorů se vycházelo z údajů Českého statistického úřadu a Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí z let 2002 - 2007. Pro zhodnocení nezaměstnanosti absolventů byly použity informace ze Zpráv o situaci na trhu práce Úřadů práce a z údajů Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí též za roky 2002 - 2007. 2008 - Czech In my thesis I am analyzing the construction industry in the South Bohemia. I have chosen this theme because I had been working for several years in real estate industry. I am focusing on the housing construction, because I think it is an important issue. First I am writing about the sources and also about the definition used in the thesis. The main practical chapters deal the analysis of the building industry. First I analyze the sector in the whole Czech Republic. I am showing on several graphs the development of construction in past few years and also its structure and problems. The same I do with specific part of construction {--} the housing construction. After characterizing South Bohemia from the demographic, geographic and economic aspects, I am describing its construction industry with focus on the housing construction and the real estate market. I am also comparing the prices of dwellings in several towns in South Bohemia and. At the end I am trying to estimate the future of the construction industry in Czech Republic and South Bohemia. The Reasons for prostitution in South Bohemia Region

2008 - Czech The Bachelor{\crq}s thesis deals with prostitution issues in the South Bohemian region and its development through the secondary and content analysis of data gained from the Czech Republic police, from the Management of South Bohemia. The prostitution accompanies the humankind the all time of its being. It is possible to define it in this way: Everybody who has sex or carries out an activity for purpose of sexual satisfaction for a consideration or in order to gain certain advantage or interest, without emotional attitude and without regard to the choice of a partner, commits the prostitution. Before the year 1990 there was the prostitution in a latent form in the Czech Republic, as a part of shadow economy. The repression was the only form of its regulation, which went out from the Penal Law No. 140/1961 Coll. Article 203 on Sponging; on its basis the prostitutes who had no employment were inflicted. In 1990 the Offense Act No. 150/1991 Coll. was repealed due to the amendment of the Act No. 140/1961 Coll., the Act No. 175/1990 Coll., and the Article 203 of the Penal Law on Sponging. These legal acts are in addition to the opened borders, foreign tourism boom and stratification of Czech citizens in connection with the enormous extension of publicly and hidden practiced prostitution in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to inform the reader about general facts concerning the prostitution. Further it should point out the social-pathological aspect of the problem. During my writing I got from the available literature, other sources were dossiers from the Czech Republic police, the Management of South Bohemia and the invaluable experience of its executives. According to the gained and processed information the numbers of prostitutes are being reduced {--} the prostitution in the South Bohemian region is decreasing. The hypothesis was confirmed. Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou prostituce v regionu jihočeského kraje a jejím vývojem, pomocí sekundární a obsahové analýzy dat získaných od policie ČR {--} správy jihočeského kraje. Prostituce provází společnost po celou dobu její existence. Lze ji definovat takto: Prostituce se dopustí ten, kdo za úplatu nebo za účelem dosažení určité výhody nebo zájmu souloží nebo vykonává činnost za účelem sexuálního ukojení partnera, bez citového vztahu a bez ohledu na výběr partnera. Před rokem 1990 existovala prostituce v České republice v latentní podobě, jako součást stínové ekonomiky. Jedinou formou její regulace byla represe, která vycházela z trestního zákona č. 140/1961 Sb. § 203 příživnictví, na jehož základě byly postihovány prostitutky, které neměly žádný pracovní poměr. V roce 1990 byl při novele zákona č. 140/1961 Sb., zákona č. 175/1990 Sb., § 203 tr. zákona o příživnictví vypuštěn zákon č. 150/1991 Sb., o přečinech, zrušen. Tyto právní akty se vedle otevřených hranic, boomu cizineckého ruchu a stratifikace obyvatel České republiky dávají do souvislosti s enormním rozšířením veřejně i skrytě provozované prostituce v České republice. Práce si klade za svůj cíl seznámit čtenáře s obecnými fakty, které se tématu prostituce dotýkají. Dále by má za cíl upozornit na společensko-patologickou stránku celé věci. Při psaní práce jsem vycházel z dostupné literatury. Dalšími zdroji informací byla akta Policie České republiky {--} správy Jihočeského kraje. Mezi cenné informace použité při psaní práce patří též neocenitelné zkušenosti vedoucích pracovnéků PČR {--} správy J. kraje. Počty prostituujících se osob se podle získaných a zpracovaných údajů zmenšují {--} prostituce v Jihočeském kraji klesá. Hypotéza byla potvrzena. Respite care in the region of South Bohemia

2010 - Czech Respite care helps caregivers to have a rest and get new energy. Thanks to the respite care, the caregivers can see the sense of their efforts. The theoretical part of my thesis is focused on the old age and aging, on changes in the old age, the population aging and on the self-sufficiency and independency of the elderly. I mention here the definition of social services, the definition of respite care according to Act No.108/2006 Coll. on social services and also the information related to caregivers and to the dignity of the respite care consumers. The objective of the thesis was to survey the forms of care provided and resources of respite care financing in the facilities for the elderly in South Bohemia. In the practical part of the thesis the qualitative research and the polling method were applied. Odlehčovací péče napomáhá pečujícím osobám si odpočinout a načerpat síly. Díky odlehčovací péči se mohou pečující osoby ujistit, že jejich snažení má smysl. V teoretické části diplomové práce jsem se zaměřila na stáří a stárnutí, změny ve stáří, stárnutí populace, soběstačnost seniorů. Uvádím definici sociální služby, definici odlehčovací služby podle zákona č. 108/2006 Sb. o sociálních službách a také informace týkající se pečujících osob a důstojnosti klienta odlehčovací péče. Cílem diplomové práce bylo zmapovat formy, poskytované činnosti a zdroje financování odlehčovací péče v zařízeních pro seniory v Jihočeském kraji. V praktické části práce jsem použila kvalitativní výzkum, metodu dotazování. Organic orchards in South Bohemia region

2013 - Czech The aim of this thesis has been to find out dynamics of development of organic orchards in South Bohemia region, assess their production potential, economic, law and enviromental aspects and suggest precaution to effective usage of grant title supported their development. Research has been done with using questionnaire and personal visit seven orchardist farm in organic agriculture that have been willing to cooperate on research of organic orchards in South Bohemia region. Another data have been gained by cooperation with control organizations BIOKONT CZ, s.r.o.; KEZ o.p.s. and by helping Internet pages of Ministry of agriculture and Internet pages of Institute of agricultural economics and information. With regards to results it is evident that from 2008 to 2011 the area of organic orchards in South Bohemia region increased from 0,82 ha to 179,92 ha. Only two orchardists from seven have answered they harvested fruit once a year. Another two orchardists have claimed that their orchards were founded only for grants, because of easily reached conditions. The others founded their orchrads because of their belief that organic fruit is better than conventional and they expect higher production in following years. Suggested precaution for effective usage grant title is base on minimal quantity of trees specific sort per hectare and grant payments with regard to area of orchard. This means lower grants to bigger orchards. The diploma thesis has followed to cooperation Faculty of agriculture of South Bohemia university in České Budějovice with Institute of agricultural economics and information during the preparation grants for organic agriculture in Rural development programme. Cílem práce bylo zjistit dynamiku rozvoje ekologických sadů v Jihočeském kraji, vyhodnotit jejich produkční potenciál, ekonomické, legislativní a environmentální aspekty a navrhnout opatření k efektivnímu využití dotačního titulu podporujícího jejich rozvoj. Výzkum byl prováděn pomocí dotazníků a osobní návštěvou sedmi sadařů hospodařících v ekologickém zemědělství, kteří byli ochotni spolupracovat na šetření týkajícím se ekologických sadů v Jihočeském kraji. Ostatní data byla získána ve spolupráci s kontrolními organizacemi BIOKONT CZ, s.r.o.; KEZ o.p.s. a za pomoci webových stránek Ministerstva zemědělství i Ústavu zemědělské ekonomiky a informací. Z výsledků je patrné, že od roku 2008 do roku 2011 se rozloha biosadů v Jihočeském kraji zvýšila z 0,82 ha na 179,92 ha. Ze sedmi dotazovaných sadařů pouze dva sdělili, že u nich probíhá 1x ročně sklizeň ovoce. Další dva ze sedmi sadařů přiznávají, že sad založili jen za úmyslem získání dotačního titulu, neboť podmínky dané legislativou jsou snadno splnitelné. Ostatní sadaři sad založili z přesvědčení, že ekologicky vypěstované ovoce je lepší než konvenční a očekávají lepší výnosy z produkce v příštích letech. Navrhnutá opatření pro efektivní využití dotačního titulu spočívají v minimálním počtu stromů (jedinců) určitého druhu na hektar a platby dle velikosti pozemku, což by znamenalo pro rozsáhlejší pozemky nižší dotace. Diplomová práce navazovala na spolupráci Zemědělské fakulty, Jihočeské univerzity v Českých Budějovicích s Ústavem zemědělské ekonomiky a informací při přípravě podpor pro ekologické zemědělství v rámci Programu rozvoje venkova.
