Experiences of student´s of the South Bohemia university with unconventional medicine

The Bachelor Thesis of mine is considering the experiences of students of the South Bohemia university with the unconventional medicine. In the theoretical part is the Thesis illustrating the description of the student, explaining the term 'Unconventional medicine' and acquainting the reader with the severance and the chosen types of unconventional medicine. In the practical part I have carried out research regarding the students' experiences with the unconventional medicine, how informed they are about the unconventional medicine and their approach. To ascertain valid research I used anonymous questionnaire shared via social websites. The outcome of those was subsequently put into graphs which are highlighting the experiences, knowledge and approaches regarding unconventional medicine of the above-mentioned students. Bakalářská práce se zabývá zmapováním zkušeností studentů Jihočeské univerzity s nekonvenční medicínou. V teoretické části se práce zaobírá popisem studenta, vysvětlením pojmu nekonvenční medicína a seznámením čtenáře s rozdělením a vybranými druhy nekonvenční medicíny. V praktické části jsem zjišťovala zkušenosti studentů s nekonvenční medicínou, jejich informovanost o nekonvenční medicíně a postoje k ní. K výzkumu jsem použila anonymní dotazník šířený přes sociální sítě. Výsledky byly zpracovány do grafů, které znázorňují zkušenosti, znalosti a postoje studentů Jihočeské univerzity k nekonvenční medicíně.

Tourism development in South Bohemia and Upper Austria

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is a tourism development in South Bohemia and Upper Austria as destination. The development of tourism is important for populations in these regions. The main target is improving standards of living for populations in these areas as tourism reduces unemployment and increases revenue. Another aim of this work is to identify structures that deal with the tourism development and cooperation between these regions. This work also shows results of these structures and evaluate the benefits of the cooperation. Information was takes directly in the particular organizations through in-depth interviews. This thesis suggests how to improve tourism in these areas and gives specific proposals for tourism development. Cílem bakalářské práce byla komparace podmínek pro rozvoj Jihočeského kraje a Horního Rakouska jako destinace cestovního ruchu, identifikace struktur a oblastí spolupráce a zhodnocení jejího přínosu. Návrh společného rozvoje cestovního ruchu v Jihočeském kraji a Horním Rakousku. Závěr práce byl soustředěn na dvě organizace, které jsou velmi důležité v této oblasti a tím je Krajský úřad a Jihočeská centrála cestovního ruchu. Byly navštíveny obě organizace a uskutečněn strukturovaný rozhovor. V návrhové části je práce zaměřena na společné produkty cestovního ruchu a společnou infrastrukturu. Je zde také zpracován návrh, pomocí kterého se zvýší kooperace mezi subjekty působící v oblasti cestovního ruchu v těchto regionech. Tento návrh by měl přispět ke zvýšení zájmu o regiony Jihočeského kraje a Horního Rakouska ze strany specifické cílové skupiny a dalšímu společnému rozvoji.

The influence of the European Union on a labour market in the South Bohemian region

The bachelor thesis analyses a labour market in the South Bohemian region and the influence of the membership of the Czech Republic in the European Union. The period under consideration covers 2000 to 2007. It was chosen so that it could include the time period before and after the accession of the Czech republic into the European Union. The practical part of the thesis focuses on operating programs, which are connected closely to the labour market. On the one hand these programs are interpreted generally in view of the Czech Republic, on the other hand are given particular projects implemented in the South Bohemian region. In another chapter of the practical part there are taken into account other effects acting on the labour market (e.g. foreigners, CZE citizens working in other states of the EU,..). The thesis should provide an objective evaluation of the situation before and after the accession into the EU. The assessment results from statistical data of the period under consideration. Bakalářská práce analyzuje trh práce v Jihočeském kraji a vliv členství České republiky v Evropské unii. Sledované období je od roku 200 do roku 2007. Je vybráno tak, aby zahrnovalo období před i po vstupu České republiky do Evropské unie. Praktická část práce se soustředí na operační programy, které jsou úzce spojeny s trhem práce. Tyto programy jsou jednak interpretovány obecně z pohledu České republiky, jednak jsou uvedeny konkrétní projekty realizované v Jihočeském kraji. V další části práce jsou uvedeny další vlivy působící na trh práce (např. cizinci, pracovníci z EU,..). Práce má poskytnout objektivní zhodnocení situace trhu práce před a po vstupu do EU vycházející ze statistických dat a uvedených hodnocení za sledované období.

Bussines cooperation between Southern Bohemia and Spain

The aim of this thesis is to map the economical and business cooperation between Spain and the South Bohemian region. The thesis is divided into two thematic parts. The first of them is focused on the foreign trade between Spain and the Czech Republic (mainly on its evolution from 1997 up to now) and the commodities that are traded. There is also the list of Spanish companies that conduct business in the Czech Republic and the list of Czech companies that are represented in Spain. The next part of the thesis is aimed at the South Bohemian region and Spanish companies that are located in this area. The history of the companies and their products are described and other important information about them are presented. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to the effort of promotion of the South Bohemian region in Spain and to the description of the places that Spanish tourists want to visit. Předmětem bakalářské práce je zmapování ekonomické a obchodní spolupráce mezi Španělskem a Jihočeským krajem. Práce je tematicky rozdělena do dvou částí. První část je zaměřena na zahraniční obchod Španělska a České republiky, především na jeho vývoj od roku 1997 do současnosti a komodity, se kterými se obchoduje. Je zde i seznam španělských firem, které podnikají v České republice a českých firem, které jsou zastoupeny ve Španělsku. Druhá část práce je věnována Jihočeskému kraji a španělským firmám, které jsou na jeho území. Je popsána historie společností, jejich produkty a jsou o nich uvedeny další důležité informace. Závěr práce je věnován snaze Jihočeského kraje o propagaci jižních Čech ve Španělsku a popisu míst, která chtějí španělští turisté navštívit.

The Aleš South-Bohemian gallery is the most important art-historical exhibition institution in South Bohemian. After many years of operation with not a very clear profile, now, the institution is trying to highlight its public image. However, the long-term development concept of the gallery is missing. There is no a research concerning the social security and the age stratification audience. The bachelor thesis of Květa Pořádková will try to capture this segment within the narrow time, which is important for targeted promotion and plans of gallery exhibitions. The student will cooperate with sociological methods and the field research. Results of the investigation will be presented as proposals to specify and improve the idea of the gallery about its audience. Vulnerabilities of the gallery will be certainly found not only in the field of the promotion, but also its exhibition program. The bachelor thesis of Květa Pořádková will be based not only on theoretical museological works, but also on interviews with gallery staff responsible for various segments of its business. Therefore, the work will serve as a practical aid to regional galleries. Alšova jihočeská galerie je nejvýznamnější uměleckohistorickou výstavní institucí v Jihočeském kraji. Po mnoha letech fungování s nepříliš jasným profilem se nyní instituce snaží o zviditelnění v očích veřejnosti. Dlouhodobá koncepce rozvoje však galerii chybí. Neexistují totiž žádné výzkumy, týkající se sociálního a věkového rozvrstvení publika. Bakalářská práce Květy Pořádkové se bude v mezích časových možností snažit postihnout tento segment, důležitý pro cílenou propagaci i plán výstavní činnosti galerie. Studentka přitom použije metody sociologického a terénního výzkumu. Výsledky jejího šetření budou prezentovány jako návrhy na zpřesnění a zlepšení představy galerie o jejím publiku. Přitom budou jistě zjištěna "slabá místa" galerie nejen na poli propagace, ale také jejího výstavního programu. Bakalářská práce Květy Pořádkové bude vycházet nejen z teoretických muzeologických prací, ale také z rozhovorů s pracovníky galerie, odpovědných za různé úseky její činnosti. Práce tak bude moci sloužit jako praktická pomůcka regionálním galeriím.

Landscape is everywhere around us and it is important part of our lives. The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is an integration of landscape into the land use planning in South Bohemia. It follows the idea of European Landscape Convention. This Thesis describes different plans dedicated to territory and their hierarchical organization. It mainly describes land and strategic plans, which had been examined for ten different municipalities in South Bohemia. This Thesis provides results which gave us information about the importance of improving integration of landscape into the plans. Krajina je všude kolem nás a je důležitou součástí našich životů. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo posouzení integrace krajiny do územně plánovací dokumentace Jihočeského kraje, a to právě v návaznosti na jeden z cílů Evropské úmluvy o krajině, z níž tato práce vychází. Práce popisuje jednotlivé dokumenty zabývající se rozvojem území a jejich hierarchickým uspořádáním. Především byly analyzovány územní a strategické plány, deseti náhodně vybraných obcí Jihočeského kraje. Z výsledků byly zjištěny místa pro zlepšení integrace krajiny v územních a strategických plánech.

Institution for children Requiring Urgent Care in South Bohemia

Bachelor thesis is focused on facilities for children who require immediate help in South Czech; district. The main goal of the thesis is to identify strong and weak points of organizations (and mainly of their employees) which provide immediate help for children in South Czech District. Another goal is to describe what actions usually social worker does in these facilities. The Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, there is a description of development of a facility for children who require immediate help. The definitions of neglecting and abuse as one of reason to put a child into a facility for children who require immediate help are also listed there with an identification of difference between those two definitions. The theoretical part also deals with the irreplaceability of a family for a child, relationship between employer of the facility ZDVOP and a child. It is also focused on the needs of systemic changes into ZDVOP and adoptive family care and its forms. Psychical deprivation of children and description of those two facilities which are located in the South Czech district and called Dětské centrum Jihočeského kraje in Strakonice (further listed as DCJK Strakonice) and Dětský domov, ZŠ, Školní jídelna and školní družina Volyně (further listed only as ZDVOP Volyně) are also listed in the theoretical part. The facility which provided immediate help for children existed till 2015 in the South Czech district and it was called Fond ohrožených dětí Klokánek (further listed only as FOD Klokánek). However, It still exists in another districts and that is why the attention is devoted to this facility in both theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is the foundation for the practical part which follows and in which the primary research question was formed: "What strong and bad sides exist in these facilities from the point of view of professional employees of the facilities?" There are another 17 questions connected to the primary one. With respect to the goal of the work, the qualitative research has been chosen which is contributing to explore these issues. The method of questions with the technique of semi structured interview. The research file consists of 5 communication partners who have been chosen on purpose according to a set criterion. The criterion was an intentional choice of professional employees working in the facility longer than 6 months. The interview about strong and weak points of the facility was made with the professional employees. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis is going to contribute to wider knowledge of society about these facilities of this kind and work of social workers. The evaluation of strong and weak points serves to an improvement of the insight into the issues of possible choices to put a child to a foster care or temporary care. The awareness of strong and weak points of the facilities from the point of view of employees proves what for children is important and irreplaceable. The upbringing of a child is an irreplaceable process in the family, however, children does not often get the sense of safety in a family. Therefore a choice of an appropriate facility, where children can temporarily spend time and where he/she gets a distance from an uneasy situation in which he/she was, is a very responsible and difficult task which cannot be taken lightly by all professionals which could participate on choosing the most suitable place for a child. Abstrakt Bakalářská práce se zabývá zařízením pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc (dále ZDVOP) v Jihočeském kraji. Jejím hlavním cílem je identifikovat silné a slabé stránky organizace poskytující okamžitou pomoc dětem v Jihočeském kraji ze strany zaměstnanců těchto organizací a dílčím cílem je popsat, jaké jsou činnosti sociálního pracovníka v zařízeních pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části se zabývám vývojem a vymezením pojmu ZDVOP, definicemi zanedbávání a týrání, jakožto jednou z příčin umístění dítěte do ZDVOP a identifikací rozdílu mezi těmito definicemi, dále nenahraditelností rodiny pro dítě, vztahem mezi zaměstnancem zařízení pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc a dítětem, potřebou systémových změn v České Republice v souladu s touto problematikou, postupem při umísťování dětí do ZDVOP, náhradní rodinnou péčí a jejími formami, psychickou deprivací u dítěte a popisem zařízení poskytujících okamžitou pomoc v Jihočeském kraji, kde jsou dvě tato zařízení a to Dětské centrum Jihočeského kraje ve Strakonicích (dále je DCJK Strakonice) a Dětský domov, ZŠ, Školní jídelna a školní družina Volyně (dále ZDVOP Volyně), jejíž součástí je také ZDVOP. V Jihočeském kraji do roku 2015 působilo zařízení pro děti, které potřebují okamžitou pomoc fond ohrožených dětí Klokánek (dále jen FOD Klokánek), jehož činnost byla ukončena, ale nadále působí v ostatních krajích a v teoretické i praktické části práce mu proto také věnuji pozornost. Teoretická část je základem pro praktickou část, která následuje a v níž byla v souladu s hlavním cílem bakalářské práce zvolena hlavní výzkumná otázka, která zní:" Jaké existují silné a slabé stránky těchto zařízení z pohledu odborných pracovníků zařízení pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc?." Pro zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky byl vytvořen výzkumný nástroj v podobě 18 otázek, které tvořily hlavní část polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. S ohledy na cíl práce byl zvolen kvalitativní výzkum, který je přínosem pro hlubší prozkoumání dané problematiky. Byla stanovena metoda dotazování s technikou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Výzkumný soubor tvoří 5 komunikačních partnerů, kteří byli záměrně vybráni dle stanoveného kritéria. Kritériem byl záměrný výběr odborných pracovníků pracujících v zařízení déle než 6 měsíců. S pracovníky byl proveden rozhovor cílený na zjištění silných a slabých stránek těchto zařízení. Závěry bakalářské práce budou moci přispět k povědomí širší veřejnosti o zařízeních tohoto typu a činnostech sociálních pracovníků v těchto zařízeních. Zhodnocení silných a slabých stránek poslouží ke zkvalitnění vhledu do této problematiky týkající se možnosti umístění děti, které z nějakého důvodu potřebují poskytnout náhradní domov či přechodnou péči a vypíchnutí silných stránek a uvědomění si slabých stránek zařízení ze strany zaměstnanců zároveň ukazuje, co je pro dítě v nelehké situaci důležité a nepostradatelné. Pro děti je výchova v rodině nenahraditelná, ale bohužel ne vždy prostředím, ve kterém dítě dostává pocit bezpečí. Výběr zařízení či péče, kde dítě bude dočasně trávit čas a kde získá odstup od nelehké situace, ve které se nacházelo je tedy velmi zodpovědným a nelehkým úkolem, který je nepřípustné brát na lehkou váhu všemi účastníky, kteří se na zvolení nejvhodnějšího místa pro dítě mohou podílet.

Geographical analysis of localisation of libraries in the South Bohemian region

This bachelor's thesis deals with creating of the database of libraries in the South Bohemian region and with geographical analysis of them. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse libraries from a spatial and structural point of view. In the beginning, the topic is set into issues of cultural geography and services. Assessment of the employment rate in the cultural section including libraries according to the classification of economic activities CZ-NACE is also part of this thesis and this assessment is focused on the comparison of the South Bohemian region with other regions of the Czech Republic. The last part of this thesis includes an analysis of selected indicators assessing the significance of libraries (number of readers, size of library fund, etc.) in relation to specific social-demographic characteristics of population (education, age, sex) according to the municipalities in region, including an explanation of connections based mainly on the correlation analyses that were done. Mutual relations are assessed on the basis of the results of these analyses. Maps representing chosen "library" characteristics in a spatial relations are also important part of this thesis. Bakalářská práce se zabývá vytvořením databáze knihoven na území Jihočeského kraje a jejich geografickou analýzou. Jejím hlavním cílem je zkoumání knihoven z pohledu prostorového a strukturálního. V úvodu je téma zasazeno do problematiky geografie kultury a služeb. Dále je dle klasifikace ekonomických činností CZ-NACE v práci zhodnocena zaměstnanost v oblasti kultury včetně knihoven se zaměřením na porovnání Jihočeského kraje s ostatními kraji České republiky. Poslední fáze zahrnuje analýzu vybraných ukazatelů hodnocení významu knihoven (počet čtenářů, velikost knihovního fondu aj.) ve vztahu k vybraným sociálně-demografickým charakteristikám obyvatel (vzdělání, věk, pohlaví) podle obcí kraje, včetně explanace souvislostí, především na základě provedených korelačních analýz. Na bázi těchto analýz je posouzena vzájemná závislost. Důležitou součásti práce jsou také mapové výstupy, které prezentují vybrané "knihovnické" charakteristiky v prostorových souvislostech.

This bachelor thesis focuses on Geocaching which is a leisure activity, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS - enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache hidden at that location. In the theoretical part, specific terms concerning destination in tourism, modern technologies and Geocaching and its influence on tourism are explained. As the key point of the practical part was established the serie of five thematic caches RIO16 that symbolize the number of circles in the emblem of the Olympic Games and through which it was possible to track consumer behaviour of Geocaching players in tourism on this particular example. Based on the foundation of the serie was created questionnaire. At the end of the thesis the new tourism product called "Baroque Treasures of South Bohemia" is proposed based on the proven fact that Geocaching has positive impact on tourism. This is another thematic serie of caches created to raise awareness about the important Baroque monuments of South Bohemia. Based on the data analysed in this thesis, it is assumed that a new serie of caches will encourage attendance of Geocaching players who are willing to travel for caches, pay for the provided tourist attractions during the hunt and use tourism products of the South Bohemia. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Geocachingem, který je volnočasovou aktivitou, při níž se hledají schránky prostřednictvím GPS. Účastníci se řídí konkrétními GPS souřadnicemi a pokoušejí se najít skryté schránky na daném místě. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Na začátku teoretické části jsou vysvětleny specifické termíny týkající se destinace cestovního ruchu, moderních technologií a v neposlední řadě Geocachingu a jeho vlivu na cestovní ruch. Stěžejním bodem v praktické části bylo založení tematické série pěti keší RIO16, které symbolizují počet kruhů ve znaku olympijských her a jejímž prostřednictvím bylo možné sledovat spotřební chování hráčů Geocachingu v cestovním ruchu na tomto konkrétním příkladu. Na základě založení série byl vytvořen dotazník. Na základě prokázání pozitivního vlivu Geocachingu na cestovní ruch je v závěru práce navržen další nový produkt cestovního ruchu s názvem "Barokní poklady jižních Čech". Jedná se o další tematickou sérii keší, která má zvýšit povědomí o významných barokních památkách Jihočeského kraje. Na základě poznatků zkoumaných v této práci lze předpokládat, že nová série keší podpoří návštěvnost Jihočeského kraje o hráče Geocachingu, kteří jsou ochotni cestovat za kešemi, zaplatit za turistické atraktivity při odlovu a spotřebovávat produkty cestovního ruchu.

Analysis of issues sledge hockey in Southern Bohemia

In my work, based on the studying of technical literature, I have managed to gather the history and rules of sledge hockey, and outline the issues of sledge hockey in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes individual sport skills and methodology of the training. I have registered a yearly training cycle of the team SK České Budějovice and identified its imperfections. I have also proposed solutions in a model of twelve-week complex preparation of the sledge hockey players. This new training plan is going to be implemented by SKV Králové České Budějovice at the end of the sledge hockey season. In case of improvement I suppose following co-operation with this club. I would be glad if this work helped the South Bohemia club in its further activities. V mé práci se na základě studia odborné literatury podařilo shromáždit historii, pravidla sledge hokeje a nastínit problematiku sledge hokej v ČR. V teoretické části jsem popsal jednotlivé sportovní dovednosti a metodiku jejich nácviku. Zaznamenal jsem stávající roční tréninkový cyklus českobudějovického týmu SKV České Budějovice a zjistil jeho nedostatky. Navrhl jsem řešení v podobě modelu dvanáctitýdenní komplexní přípravy sledge hokejistů. Nový tréninkový plán bude realizován v závěru sledge hokejové sezóny při SKV Králové České Budějovice. V případě zlepšení předpokládám další spolupráci s českobudějovickým klubem. Byl bych rád, pokud tato práce pomůže jihočeskému klubu v jeho dalším působení.
