Without a corresponding amount of funds from both the state and the business sector, it is not possible to expect R & D (R & D) in the Czech Republic to deliver high-quality, internationally competitive knowledge, innovation and technology. The importance of R & D investment is now highlighted in all developed countries, as the results of these activities and their use play an important role in all areas of today's society. Effective allocation of financial resources in this area can not be done without knowledge of historical development and current situation. Therefore, high quality and reliable statistical data are needed to determine the priorities and direction of future policies in this area. Bez odpovídajícího objemu finančních prostředků jak ze strany státu, tak podnikatelského sektoru nelze očekávat, že výzkum a vývoj (VaV) bude v České republice přinášet špičkové, mezinárodně konkurenceschopné poznatky, inovace a technologie. Důležitost investic do VaV je v současnosti zdůrazňována ve všech vyspělých státech i z toho důvodu, že výsledky těchto činností a jejich využití hrají důležitou roli ve všech oblastech dnešní společnosti. Efektivní alokace finančních zdrojů v této oblasti se neobejde bez znalosti historického vývoje a současného stavu. K určování priorit a směřování budoucích politik v této oblasti jsou proto potřebná kvalitní a spolehlivá statistická data.

The Czech Republic's Satellite Account for Culture (also referred to as the "Culture Account") was, for the first time, prepared in a verification version for the reference year 2009 following the task of the Government Resolution No. 1452 of 2008. During the preparation of the account and in the evaluation of its results for This year and the following year it turned out that some of the assumptions and intentions contained in the original methodological manual to the account can not be fully fulfilled, Must be repaired. Satelitní účet kultury ČR (dále také „účet kultury“) byl v návaznosti na úkol vyplývající z usnesení vlády ČR č. 1452 z roku 2008, poprvé zpracován v ověřovacím provedení za referenční rok 2009. V průběhu sestavování účtu i v rámci hodnocení jeho výsledků za tento rok a za rok následující se ukázalo, že některé předpoklady a záměry obsažené v původním metodickém manuálu k účtu nemohou být zcela naplněny, resp. musí být poopraveny.

In recent decades, the spread of information and communication technologies (ICT) has had a dramatic impact not only on the economy, the means of production, but also on the social life and lifestyles of most population groups. In an effort to monitor the situation and the development of these phenomena, the Czech Statistical Office, in cooperation with Eurostat, is conducting a regular sampling survey focused on information and communication technologies in households and the population Šíření informačních a komunikačních technologií (dále jen ICT) mělo v poslední dekádě dramatický dopad nejen na ekonomiku, výrobní prostředky a služby, ale výrazně se podepsalo i na společenském životě a životních způsobech většiny skupin obyvatelstva. Ve snaze sledovat stav a vývoj těchto jevů, provádí Český statistický úřad ve spolupráci s Eurostatem pravidelné výběrové šetření zaměřené na informační a komunikační technologie v domácnostech a u obyvatelstva.

Getting acquainted with the latest data on innovative business activities in the Czech Republic in the period 2012-2014 is the main goal of this publication. The results of these statistics are used at national level primarily to provide statistical data needed for state administration performance in the area of research, development and innovation. Seznámení čtenářů s nejnovějšími údaji o inovačních aktivitách podniků v České republice v období let 2012–2014 je hlavním cílem této publikace. Výsledky z této statistiky se využívají na národní úrovni především k zabezpečení statistických údajů potřebných pro výkon státní správy v oblasti výzkumu, vývoje a inovací.

Publicity Incapacity for Disease and Accidents in the Czech Republic in the first half of 2016 offers a basic overview of temporary incapacity for work of the Czech population due to illness or accident in the first half of 2016. Data on sickness and injury incapacity for work are based on the joint processing of the data of the Czech Social Administration Security (CSSA) and the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) and are always published 1 st half of the reference year (31 October 2016) and cumulative for the whole year (31 May 2017) Publikace Pracovní neschopnost pro nemoc a úraz v ČR v 1. pololetí 2016 nabízí základní přehled o dočasné pracovní neschopnosti obyvatel ČR z důvodu nemoci či úrazu v 1. pololetí 2016. Data o pracovní neschopnosti pro nemoc a úraz vycházejí ze společného zpracování údajů České správy sociálního zabezpečení (ČSSZ) a Českého statistického úřadu (ČSÚ) a jsou publikována vždy za 1. pololetí sledovaného roku (v termínu 31. 10. 2016) a v kumulaci za celý rok (v termínu 31. 05. 2017)

The Czech Statistical Office has been conducting a statistical survey on waste production and management every year since 1992. The scope and structure of this survey serves as a direct basis for the reporting obligations of the Czech Republic resulting from Regulation 2150/2002 / EC of the European Parliament and of the council on waste statistics , which is headed by the Czech Statistical Office. Český statistický úřad provádí každoročně statistické zjišťování o produkci a nakládání s odpady již od roku 1992. Rozsah a uspořádání tohoto zjišťování slouží jako přímý podklad pro zajištění reportingových povinností ČR, které vyplývají z Nařízení Evropského parlamentu a Rady 2150/2002/ES, o statistice odpadů, jehož gestorem je Český statistický úřad.
