Dopady imigrácie na ekonomické ukazovatele v Austrálii, Veľkej Británii a Spojených štátoch Amerických

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of immigration and its impact on the economy in Australia, Great Britain and the United States of America. In the introduction, various migration theories explaining the migration motifs and immigration policies, whose specifics and the type of requirements of the monitored countries sheds the composition of incoming individuals, are discussed. This profile is complemented by the analysis itself, which examines the socio-economic factors of foreign-born population living in the monitored countries. This analysis is carried out by cross-sectional data comparisons, but it monitors the arrival times of individuals, providing an overview within the timeline. In order to determine the impact of immigration on employment and average wages, regression was used, but this effect was in no way proven beyond the impact on average wages in Australia. Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou přistěhovalectví a jeho dopadu na ekonomiku v Austrálii, Velké Británii a Spojených státech amerických. V úvodu jsou uvedena různá teorie migrace vysvětlující migrační motivy a imigrační politiky, jejichž specifika a typ požadavků monitorovaných zemí práce demonstruje složení příchozích jedinců. Tento profil je doplněn samotnou analýzou, která zkoumá společensko-ekonomické faktory v zahraničí narozeného obyvatelstva žijícího ve sledovaných zemích. Tato analýza se provádí porovnáním průřezových dat, ale sleduje dobu příchodu jednotlivců a poskytuje tedy i přehled v časové ose. Za účelem stanovení dopadu přistěhovalectví na zaměstnanost a průměrné mzdy byla použita regrese, ale tento dopad nebyl žádným způsobem prokázán, s výjimkou dopadu na průměrné mzdy v Austrálii.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the evaluation of gastronomic services in Bratislava 1. The first chapter explains the typology and forms of catering facilities. It also describes Slovak cuisine, its development and typical dishes with beverages. The second chapter presents the history, the culture of Bratislava. At the same time, the thesis does not omit the development of tourism and catering facilities in Bratislava. The third chapter of the thesis analyzes the offer of catering services via questionnaire survey. At the end of the chapter, the overall survey results are summarized. With the help of SWOT analysis, the potential for tourism in the catering sector has been evaluated. Cílem této práce je vyhodnocení gastronomických služeb v Bratislavě 1. První kapitola slouží k vysvětlení typologie a forem stravovacích zařízení. Zároveň popisuje slovenskou kuchyni, její vývoj a typické pokrmy s nápoji. Druhá kapitola představuje historii, kulturu Bratislavy. Nejsou opomenuty předpoklady pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu a stravovacích zařízení v Bratislavě. Třetí kapitola práce má za úkol analyzovat nabídku stravovacích služeb a to pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Na konci kapitoly jsou shrnuty celkové výsledky šetření. Za pomoci SWOT analýzy je zhodnocen potenciál pro cestovní ruch v oblasti stravovacích zařízení.

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the economic situation of the Russian Federation in 2008-2015 and it´s future outlooks. The man aim of the thesis is to monitor the development of macroeconomic data in the period 2008-2015, to analyze their impact on different parts of the economy, to identify the reasons and causes of their changes as well as their future development. The first chapter deals with the analysis and assessment of macroeconomic indicators in 2008-2014. The second chapter focuses on the structure of the Russian economy and thoroughly breakdown the two major commodities, namely oil and natural gas. The third chapter describes the main economic shocks affecting the Russian economy in 2014 and their subsequent empact on the country. The aim of the last chapter is to outline the future development of Russia and it´s economy through mid-term and long-term scenarios. Bakalářská práce se zaobírá analýzou ekonomické situace Ruské federace v letech 2008-2015 a jejího výhledu do budoucna. Hlavním cílem práce je sledování vývoje makroekonomických dat v období 2008-2015, analyzování jejich vlivu na různé části ekonomiky, zjištění důvodů a příčin jejich změn jako i jejich budoucí vývoj. První kapitola se věnuje analýze a posouzení makroekonomických ukazatelů v letech 2008-2014. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na strukturu hospodářství Ruska a důkladně rozebírá dvě hlavní komodity, konkrétně ropu a zemní plyn. Třetí kapitola popisuje hlavní ekonomické šoky působící na ruskou ekonomiku v roku 2014 a jejich následní dopad na krajinu. Cílem poslední kapitoly je načrtnout budoucí vývoj Ruska a jeho ekonomiky pomocí střednědobých a dlouhodobých scénářů.

This bachelor s thesis deals with analysis of the relationship between performance of non-financial companies and macroeconomic factors. There will be presented several important factors and the aim is to find factors that significantly influence the performance of non-financial companies. The theoretical part of this paper will outline how macroeconomic factors can affect non-financial companies. In the next part, these hypotheses will be examined. The basic method used for this analysis will be regression analysis. Due to the regression analysis, it will be possible to determine which factors influence performance. Táto bakalářská práce se zabývá analyzovaním vztahu mezi výkonností nefinančních firem a makroekonomickými faktory. Představené budou některé významné faktory a cílem je najít také faktory, které významně vplývají na výkonnost nefinančních firem.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to investigate and analyze the position and influence of the automotive industry on the selected macroeconomic indicators of economy of the Slovak Republic. This work consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the position and significance of the automotive industry for the Slovak economy along with the characterization of selected macroeconomic indicators. In the practical part, I mean specific macroeconomic indicators (GDP, unemployment, foreign trade), which analyze the data obtained from the Slovak Statistical Office and EUROSTAT. Consequently, I examine the importance of automotive production in Slovakia through changes in the macroeconomic indicators in a given time period. Cílem této bakalářske práce je zkoumat a analyzovat pozici a vliv automobilového průmyslu na vybrané makroekonomické ukazatele hospodářství Slovenské republiky. Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je zaměřena na pozici a význam automobilového průmyslu pro Slovenskú ekonomiku spolu s charakterizací vybraných makroekonomických ukazatelů. V praktické části se věnuji konkrétním makroekonomickým ukazatelem (HDP, nezaměstnanost, zahraniční obchod), díky kterým analyzuji údaje získané ze Slovenského statistického úřadu a EUROSTAT-tu. Následně na to, zkoumám význam automobilové výroby na Slovensku a to prostřednictvím změn makroekonomických ukazatelů v daném časovém období.

This thesis aims to find out the range of unpaid work in the Czech Republic and whether there are significant gender differences in the terms of unpaid work. This target was reached by evaluating experience from abroad, specifically from the research of OECD, research of HETUS and research based on a survey in the Slovakia in 2011. Measure of unpaid work in the Czech Republic was determined by present surveys, but was mainly based on my own survey. The thesis also contains a theoretical part that specifies the importance and influence of unpaid work. Gender inequalities in society but mainly in the labour market were also specified. This thesis summarises past results of surveys that addressed the topic of unpaid work. The main asset of my work is the research in the Czech Republic, which is directly focused on the range of unpaid work as there only had been series of research that dealt with unpaid work briefly. Another benefit of this work is proposing possible amendments because the assumption that women spend more time on unpaid work than men was confirmed. These changes could help to compensate the inequality. Cílem diplomové práce je zjištění rozsahu neplacené práce v celé České republice, a zda existují významné rozdíly mezi pohlavími hlavně v neplacené práci. Tento cíl byl zjišťován na základě zkušeností ze zahraničí, konkrétně z výzkumů OECD, výzkumů HETUS a průzkumu neplacené práce VEGA na Slovensku. Rozsah neplacené práce v České republice byl zjišťován pomocí dosavadních průzkumů, ale převažne na základě mého dotazníkové průzkumu. Součásti práce je i teoretická část, kde byl přiblížení význam a vliv neplacené práce. V práci jsem poukázala na genderové nerovnosti ve společnosti ale hlavně na trhu práce. V práci jsou shrnuté dosavadní výsledky průzkumů, které se zabývají problematikou neplacené práce. Hlavním přínosem práce je průzkum v České republice, který je přímo zaměřen na rozsah neplacené práce v České repubice, neboť dosud byly realizované len průzkumy, které se neplacenou prací zabývali len stručně. Přínosem je i navržení možných změn, protože byl potvrzený předpoklad, že ženy věnují více času neplacené práci jak muži. Tyto změny by mohly pomoci tuto nerovnost kompenzovat.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the traffic situation in the Žilina Region in Slovakia, which reveals its weaknesses. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part explains the theory neccessary for the correct understanding of the given terms in the practical part. In this part, the Žilina Region is represented together with the city of Žilina and also their history, culture and tourism are mentioned. According to introduced current situation in the transport sector, the examination of the possible shortcomings is implied. In the conclusion there are indentified deficiencies, on the basis of which proposals are made to improve this situation. Cílem této práce je zhodnocení dopravní situace v Žilinském kraji na Slovensku, která odhaluje její slabé stránky. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první části je vysvětlena teorie potřebná pro správné pochopení daných termínů v návazné praktické části. V praktické části je představen Žilinský kraj spolu s městem Žilina, jejich historie, kultura a turismus. Uvedena je aktuální situace v oblasti dopravy, ze které je pak vyvozeno zkoumání případných nedostatků. V závěru jsou obsaženy zjištěné nedostatky, na základě kterých jsou odvozeny návrhy na zlepšení této situace.

The thesis researches alcoholic beverages and tobacco consumption expenses development with Czech and Slovak households after admission of the two republics into the EU. In the first, theoretical part, specific terms, methodology and respective indicators are explained. The practical part is devoted to selected goods consumption expenses development analysis in the years 2004-2016. In the end of the practical part, contributions on total consumptions of Slovakia and the Czech Republic are compared. It is concluded in the thesis that the consumption of researched goods is not sensitive to price changes. Bakalářská práce zkoumá vývoj spotřebních výdajů na alkoholové nápoje a tabák českých a slovenských domácností po jejich vstupu do Evropské unie. Práce je rozdělená do dvou části. V první, teoretické části jsou vysvětlene jednotlivé pojmy, metodika a charakteristiky jednotlivých ukazatelů. Praktická část je věnovaná analýze vývoje spotřebních výdajů na zvolenou skupinu statků v období 2004 - 2016. Na závěr praktické části dochází ke komparaci podílu výdajů na konečné spotřebě domácností mezi Českou a Slovenskou republikou. V závěre práce dospíva k tomu, že spotřeba těchto statků není citlivá na změny cen.

The thesis focuses on valuating of the company Vodafone, Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into initial, theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical part explains the main theoretical knowledges regarding evaluating sphere. The practical part is application of that knowledge to the analysing company Vodafone, Czech Republic. The thesis uses Discounted Cash-flow (DCF) method and Economic Added Value(EVA). Diplomová práce se zabývá stanovením hodnoty společnosti Vodafone, Czech Republic, a. s. k 31.3.2016. Práce je rozdělená z úvodní, teoreticko-metodologické a praktické části. V teoretické části jsou vysvetleny základní teoretické poznatky a východiská z oblasti stanovení hodnoty podniku. V praktické časti se aplikují teoretické přístupy na analyzovanou společnost Vodafone, Czech Republic, a. s. V práci je použita metoda diskontovaných peněžních toků (DCF) a metoda ekonomické přidané hodnoty (EVA).

This bachelor thesis assesses the benefits of a new type of report that shall be used by financial analysts from international company. Thesis characterizes the different types of reports and compares the Pros and Cons that are related with them. Furthermore, it demonstrates the efficient use of automation that significantly simplifies the creation and control of the report. Outcome is a dynamic report with a wide range of features that allows to take a look at the data from various perspectives. Tato bakalářská práce hodnotí přínosy nového typu reportu, který má být aktivně využíván finančními analytiky v nadnárodní společnosti.Práce charakterizuje jednotlivé typy reportů a s nimi spojené výhody a nevýhody. Zároveň znázorňuje efektivní využití automatizace, která rapidně zjednodušuje tvorbu a ovládání reportu. Výstupem je dynamický report se širokým spektrem funkcionalit, který dovoluje nahlédnout na data z různých úhlů pohledu.
