The methodology of integrated Colorado potato beetle management in potatoes under new agro-environmental conditions

The aim of the certified methodology is to provide updated principles of effective integrated Colorado potato beetle management for the agricultural practice resulting from new findings on biology and population genetics in the situation, when the range of effective insecticides has been reduced, pest resistance to insecticides has been increased and agro ecological conditions have been changed. Colorado potato beetle is a very serious insect pest of potatoes, highly mobile and able to quickly develop insecticide resistance. The methodology was drawn up based on the newest findings on the efficacy of existing insecticides registered against Colorado potato beetle, taking into account newly acquired knowledge in the field of pest resistance to active ingredients and a necessity of ever increasing multiple applications. Cílem certifikované metodiky je předat zemědělské praxi aktualizované zásady efektivní integrované ochrany proti mandelince bramborové vycházející z nových poznatků o biologii a genetice populací za situace zužujícího se sortimentu účinných přípravků, narůstající rezistence škůdce k insekticidům a měnících se agroekologických podmínek. Mandelinka bramborová je velmi závažným škůdcem brambor, který je vysoce mobilní a schopný rychlého vývoje rezistence vůči insekticidům. Metodika byla koncipována na základě nejnovějších poznatků o účinnosti stávajících insekticidů registrovaných proti mandelince bramborové s přihlédnutím k nově získaným poznatkům z oblasti rezistence tohoto škůdce k účinným látkám a k nutnosti stále více se rozšiřujících vícenásobných aplikací.

The report summarizes the results of a survey of fish and lamprey in pools created by European beaver activity and control sites by electric aggregate. Community structure and population characteristics (abundance, biomass, size composition) are assessed. Zpráva shrnuje výsledky průzkumu ryb a mihulí v tůních vytvořených činností bobra evropského a kontrolních lokalit elektrickým agregátem. Je vyhodnocena struktura společenstva a charakteristiky populací (početnost, biomasa, velikostní složení).

The report summarizes the results of a comprehensive survey of the fish population of Lake Milada in 2022. The goal of the ichthyological survey of the lake was to map the state and development of the fish population, with an emphasis on estimating the abundance and biomass of individual fish species, on estimating the risks of further development of the fish population and recommending further management of the lake. A summary of the achieved results and a proposal for recommendations for further monitoring are the contents of the presented report. Zpráva shrnuje výsledky komplexního průzkumu rybí obsádky jezera Milada v roce 2022. Cílem ichtyologického průzkumu jezera bylo zmapování stavu a vývoje rybí obsádky zejména s důrazem na odhad početnosti a biomasy jednotlivých druhů ryb, na odhad rizik dalšího vývoje rybí obsádky a doporučení dalšího obhospodařování jezera. Sumarizace dosažených výsledků a návrh doporučení pro další sledování jsou obsahem předkládané zprávy.

Evaluation of the issue of protection of populations of large bivalves at the Lipno Reservoir, including a survey of localities of their possible occurrence

The report summarizes the results of the survey of sites of the Lipno Reservoir with the possibility of the occurrence of large bivalves and the evaluation of the influence of manipulation of the water level on the occurrence of large bivalves. The results of the conducted survey and the evaluation of the issue of the protection of large bivalve populations in the Lipno Reservoir with regard to the planned drop in water level are the content of this report. Zpráva shrnuje výsledky průzkumu lokalit VD Lipno s možností výskytu velkých mlžů a zhodnocení vlivu manipulace s vodní hladinou na výskyt velkých mlžů. Výsledky provedeného průzkumu a zhodnocení problematiky ochrany populací velkých mlžů ve VD Lipno s ohledem na plánovaný zákles hladiny jsou obsahem této zprávy.
