2021 - German This thesis deals with the motif of communal dining in selected short stories by Wolfgang Borchert and Peter Bichsel. Firstly, attention is drawn to the importance of communal dining through the prism of culture and religion. Then both authors are introduced, and the socio- historical context of their works is discussed. The selected short stories are precisely analyzed and interpreted with reference to the central motif of communal dining. The aim of the thesis is to present a previously unexplored representation of the great cultural topic in the small format of short stories. Tato práce se zabývá motivem společenství u stolu ve vybraných povídkách Wolfganga Borcherta a Petera Bichsela. Nejdříve bude pozornost soustředěna na význam motivu společenství u stolu prizmatem kultury a náboženství. Dále budou představeni oba autoři a jejich díla budou zasazena do společensko-historického kontextu. Jednotlivé povídky budou detailně analyzovány a interpretovány ve vztahu k centrálnímu motivu společenství u stolu. Práce si klade za cíl představit doposud neprostudované ztvárnění onoho velkého kulturního tématu na formátu krátkých textů v podobě vybraných povídek. Participiální konstrukce z kontrastivního hlediska na příkladu překladů Güntera Grasse

2021 - German Within my bachelor's thesis I concern myself with the analysis of transgressives and nonattributive participles. In the theory section I indicate their key attributes, from which follow the common features between the individual forms, which form the basis of my initial thesis. In the methodology section I describe the means and methods used during the individual analyses. In the first analysis I try to find out in a contrastive way, if there is a one hundred percent overlap between specific transgressive forms and specific participle forms and in case there is not I try to establish the possible reasons for an overlap between transgressives and the other forms. Moreover I try to figure out, being inspired by the model from Emil Dvořák, whether there is a visible decline in use of the transgressives, whose number I calculate by means of the second analysis. After the analysis section I evaluate the findings made within the both analyses and describe what it implies. In the end I summarize the results and bring my thesis to a close. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org) In meiner Bachelorarbeit beschäftige ich mich mit der Analyse der Transgressive und der nicht-attributiven Partizipien. In dem theoretischen Teil deute ich ihre Schlüsseleigenschaften an, aus welchen sich dann gemeinsame Züge zwischen den einzelnen Formen ergeben, die die Basis meiner Ausgangsthese bilden. In dem methodologischen Teil beschreibe ich die Mittel und Verfahren, die bei den einzelnen Analysen angewendet werden. Bei der ersten Analyse versuche ich dann auf kontrastive Weise erfahren, ob bestimmte Transgressivformen mit bestimmten Partizipformen hundertprozentig übereinstimmen und wenn nicht, was sind die mögliche Gründe für die Übereinstimmung der Transgressive mit den anderen Formen. Überdies bemühe ich mich nach dem Muster von Emil Dvořák festzustellen, ob es auch hier im Falle der Transgressive zu einem Schwund kommt. Das Gleiche versuche ich auch bei den nicht-attributiven Partizipien zu tun, deren Anzahl ich mithilfe der zweiten Analyse berechne. Nach der analytischen Teil werte ich die Befunde innerhalb der beiden Analysen aus und beschreibe, was sich daraus ergibt. Am Ende fasse ich dann die Ergebnisse zusammen und schließe damit meine Arbeit. 2021 - German The bachelor's thesis deals with onomastic research and analysis of proper names of German origin and their development in the first half of the 20th century in the mining town of Dobšiná. The incentive to choose this topic was a visit to the Evangelical Church in Dobšiná, in which is located a memorial plaque with the names of 112 victims of the Přerov massacre, which was not discussed until the change of socio-political conditions in 1989. The research is carried out on the basis of data from parish register from the interwar period, stored in the Evangelical Church. The aim of the work is based on previous research to briefly process the history of the town of Dobšiná and its demographic structure with emphasis on the development of the German ethnic group. To get thoroughly acquainted with the origin, development, division of proper names in the central areas of the German language on the basis of professional literature and to map the occurrence of surnames of German origin in the interwar period in Dobšiná, which will be subsequently linguistically characterized. Bakalárska práca sa venuje onomastickému výskumu a analýze vlastných mien nemeckého pôvodu a ich vývinu v 1. polovici 20. storočia v banskom meste Dobšiná. Podnetom k voľbe tejto témy bola návšteva evanjelického kostola v Dobšinej, v ktorom sa nachádza pamätná tabuľa s menami 112 obetí přerovského masakru, o ktorom sa do zmeny spoločensko- politických pomerov v r. 1989 mlčalo. Výskum sa realizuje na základe údajov z matrík z medzivojnového obdobia uložených v evanjelickom kostole. Cieľom práce je vychádzajúc z doterajších výskumov stručne spracovať dejiny mesta Dobšiná a jeho demografickú štruktúru s dôrazom na vývin nemeckého etnika. Dôkladne sa oboznámiť so vznikom, vývinom, členením vlastných mien v centrálnych oblastiach nemeckého jazyka na báze odbornej literatúry a zmapovať výskyt priezvisk nemeckého pôvodu v Dobšinej v skúmanom období, ktoré budú následne lingvisticky charakterizované. Jedná se o Kateřinu Tučkovou, Radku Denemarkovou a Jakubu Katalpu. Každá z autorek zpracovává česko-německá témata s odlišnou motivací a přináší na problematiku nový pohled, což dokazuje detailní analýza románů Vyhnání Gerty Schnirch, Peníze od Hitlera a Němci. Cílem práce je vytvořit tři osobité portréty a pojmenovat shodné i rozdílné tendence zmíněných autorek. Pozornost se soustředí na jejich biografii, společenské aktivity a názory, které jsou pro pochopení kontextu nezbytné. The diploma thesis deals with Czech contemporary female authors who focus on Czech-German relations in the 20th century and are engaged in the German-speaking area. These are Katerina Tuckova, Radka Denemarkova and Jakuba Katalpa. Each of the authors approaches the Czech-German topics with different motivations and brings a new perspective on the issue, as evidenced by a detailed analysis of the novels The Expulsion of Gerta Schnirch, Money from Hitler and The Germans. The aim of the work is to create three distinctive portraits and to name the same and different tendencies of the mentioned authors. Attention is focused on their biography, social activities and opinions, which are necessary for understanding the context. Teoretická práce je zaměřena na literárně-kulturní pozadí NDR, na folkový protestsong jako žánr s významnou společenskou a politickou ambicí a jeho dějinný kontext v západních zemích a zemích komunistického bloku v druhé polovině 20. století. 2021 - German Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o tématu Okřídlená slova v němčině, češtině a angličtině a jejich užití v textu. Teoretická část pojednává o základních pojmech z oblasti frazeologie, vlastnostech frazeologismů a o klasifikaci frazeologismů. V praktické části jsou shromážděna německá okřídlená slova spolu s jejich českými a anglickými ekvivalenty. Následně jsou okřídlená slova rozdělena do různých skupin, a to dle míry ekvivalence mezi jejich německým zněním a jejich českým a/nebo anglickým zněním, čemuž coby základ posloužilo vymezení stupňů ekvivalence Helgundou Henschelovou (1993). Dále je v praktické části pozornost věnována vybraným německým okřídleným slovům, přesněji řečeno tomu, v čem přesně tkví rozdíl mezi německým zněním a zněním českým a/nebo anglickým, dále také jejich významu a tomu, jak jsou ona i jejich anglické a české ekvivalenty užívány v textu. The topic of this bachelor thesis is Winged words in German, Czech and English and their usage in the text. The theoretical part deals with some basic terms that are related to phraseology, characteristics of phraseological expressions and classification of phraseological expressions. The practical part introduces German winged words and their Czech and English counterparts. Subsequently, based on the types of equivalence established by Helgunde Henschel (1993), the winged words are put into different groups, depending on the extent of equivalence between their German phrasing and their Czech and/or English phrasing. The practical part also deals with selected German winged words. It will explain what exactly it is that makes their Czech and/or English phrasing different from the German one, it will explain their origin, their meaning and also how they and their English and Czech equivalents are used in the text. 2021 - German This diploma thesis deals with the topic of the variation in genitive and dative government. The subject of analysis are the following thirteen prepositions: (an)statt, innerhalb, längs, mangels, mittels, trotz, während, wegen, zugunsten/zu Gunsten; binnen, dank, laut, zufolge. The aim of the thesis is to capture the use of the mentioned prepositions as detailed as possible. The focus is on the question and the attempt to determine in which cases within the variation in prepositional case government in the written language one or the other case is preferred and whether certain tendencies or systematics common to all thirteen prepositions can be followed. The prepositions are analysed by means of nine selected sources (both dictionaries and grammar books) and German reference corpus. Tato diplomová práce pojednává o genitivním a dativním kolísání pádu. Předmětem analýzy je následujících třináct předložek: (an)statt, innerhalb, längs, mangels, mittels, trotz, während, wegen, zugunsten/zu Gunsten; binnen, dank, laut, zufolge. Cílem práce je co nejpodrobněji zprostředkovat užívaní uvedených předložek. Centrální je zde otázka a pokus o určení, ve kterých případech je v psaném jazyce upřednostňován jeden nebo druhý pád, a zda lze v rámci kolísavého užívání vysledovat určité tendence nebo systematiku společnou pro všech třináct předložek. Předložky jsou zkoumány pomocí devíti vybraných zdrojů (slovníků i gramatik) a Německého referenčního korpusu. 2021 - German This thesis deals with women's images in the chosen novels by the Austrian writer Elfriede Jelinek. The focus lies on exploring women's sexuality and identities in Die Klavierspielerin (The Piano Teacher), Lust (Lust) and Die Liebhaberinnen (Women as Lovers). As for the methodology, I draw on feminist literary criticism and gender studies, primarily Elaine Showalter's and Judith Butler's theories. The development of female protagonists is comprehended as formed through patriarchy - it will be analyzed, and the individual results will be compared in order to get to the general issue about depiction of patriarchy and toxic masculinity in Jelinek's work. Key words: feminism, gender, women's sexuality, self-determination, Elfriede Jelinek Tato práce se zabývá obrazem ženy v románech rakouské spisovatelky Elfriede Jelinek. Zaměřuje se na vývoj ženské sexuality a identity v románech Die Klavierspielerin (Pianistka), Lust (Slast) a Die Liebhaberinnen (Milovnice). Analýza se opírá především o feministické a genderové teorie Elaine Showalter a Judith Butler. Vývoj protagonistek je chápan jako formovaný patriarchální kulturou, na základě čehož budou postavy analyzovány a následně porovnány. Práce si klade za cíl zjistit, jak jsou v dílech Jelinek obecně zobrazeny patriarchát a toxická maskulinita.
