Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá porovnaním jednotlivých open-source firewallov z pohľadu topológie vysokej dostupnosti. Cieľom práce je určiť najvhodnejší firewall pre realizáciu topológie s vysokou dostupnosťou. Teoretická časť práce sa zaoberá vysvetlením pojmov prekladu adries, fungovania firewallov a následne i popisom protokolov potrebných pre realizáciu vysokej dostupnosti a následne je popísané testovanie pomocou programu GNS3. V praktickej časti práce je opísaný postup prípravy laboratórneho prostredia ako i proces konfigurácie a testovania jednotlivých firewallov a následne je z výsledkov testovania pripravené vyhodnotenie This diploma thesis deals with the comparison of different open-source firewalls from the perspective of high availability topology. The goal of the thesis is to determine the most suitable firewall for implementing a topology with high availability. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of the concepts of address translation, the operation of firewalls, and subsequently describes the protocols necessary for the implementation of high availability, followed by a description of the testing using GNS3. The practical part of the thesis describes the preparation of the laboratory environment, as well as the process of configuration and testing of the individual firewalls, followed by an evaluation based on the test results.

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá problematikou generovaním a monitorovaním prevádzky v simulačnom nástroji GNS 3. Sú definované vlastnosti simulátora GNS 3 pre prácu, jeho možností pre simulovanie/emulovanie prvkov. Dôraz je kladený na využívanie iba open-source nástrojov. Po analyzovaní schopností GNS 3 je nájdený vhodný generátor prevádzky, ktorému predchádza praktické testovanie viacerých generátorov. Po nájdení generátora sú prakticky otestované monitorovacie nástroje, kedy najlepšie z testovania vyšiel Zabbix. Ten bol prepojený s vizualizačným nástrojom Grafana. Časť práce tvorí automatizácia, o ktorú sa staral Zabbix spolu s bashovými/python skriptami. Práca zhodnocuje použitie GNS 3 a skúma jeho schopnosti, možnosti a limitácie v oblasti monitoringu a generovania prevádzky. Výsledkom je vytvorenie prístupovej siete s jedným smerovačom a dvomi kontajnermi, ktoré generujú a posielajú prevádzku cez tento smerovač. Všetko je monitorované Zabbixom a užitočné výsledky zobrazené v Grafane. Thesis deals with generating and monitoring traffic in the GNS 3 simulation tool. The properties of the GNS 3 simulator are defined, including its capabilities for simulating/emulating components. Emphasis is placed on using only open-source tools. After analyzing the capabilities of GNS 3, a suitable traffic generator is found, which is preceded by practical testing of multiple generators. After finding the generator, monitoring tools are practically tested, with Zabbix emerging as the best from the tests. It was linked with the visualization tool Grafana through Zabbix plugin. Part of the work consists of automation, managed by Zabbix along with bash/Python scripts. The thesis evaluates the use of GNS 3 and explores its capabilities, possibilities, and limitations in the area of traffic monitoring and generation. The result is the creation of an access network with one router and two containers that generate and send traffic through this router. Everything is monitored by Zabbix and useful results are displayed in Grafana.

Cieľom je vytvoriť robustný systém, schopný efektívne pracovať v nepriaznivých podmienkach a presne identifikovať rôzne typy objektov na oblohe. Práca postupuje od teoretických základov, výberu metód, až po návrh a implementáciu systému počítačového videnia. This work deals with the use of computer vision in the field of detection, tracking and classification of flying objects in a real environment. The goal is to create a robust system, capable of working effectively in adverse conditions and accurately identifying different types of objects in the sky. The work progresses from theoretical foundations, choice of methods, to the design and implementation of a computer vision system.

Cieľom tejto práce bolo vytvoriť aplikáciu, softvérový nástroj, ktorý umožní optimálne zvoliť veľkosť batériového úložiska, z ekonomického a technického hľadiska, pomocou výpočtu energetických a výkonových bilancií. Tieto výpočty sú uskutočnené na základe vstupných dát pre definovaný časový úsek, spotreby objektu, parametrov batériového úložiska a fotovoltaickej elektrárne. V teoretickej časti práce bola vykonaná rešerš zameraná na nájdenie vhodných akumulačných systémov v priemyselných objektoch a možnosti ich využitia. V tretej kapitole bola popísaná algoritmizácia a vývoj aplikácie zameranej na orezávanie špičiek a znižovanie rezervovanej kapacity priemyselného objektu prostredníctvom batériového úložiska. Kapitola detailne popisuje potrebné vstupné údaje pre simuláciu, tvorbu aplikácie a jednotlivé časti programu sú popísané pomocou vývojových diagramov. Ďalej je popísaná tvorba grafického užívateľského rozhrania aplikácie a ekonomická analýza. Štvrtá kapitola sa zameriava na prípadovú štúdiu s dvoma scenármi. Na základe prípadovej štúdie bola overená, potvrdená a prezentovaná funkčnosť aplikácie. The aim of this work was to create an application, a software tool, which will allow to optimally choose the size of the battery storage, from an economic and technical point of view, using the calculation of energy and power balances. These calculations are based on input data for a defined period, object onsumption, battery storage parameters and photovoltaic power plant. In the theoretical part of the work, research was conducted to find suitable storage devices for industrial facilities and explore their potential applications. The third chapter covers the algorithmization and development of an application focused on peak shaving and reducing the reserved capacity of an industrial facility through battery storage. The chapter describes in detail the necessary input data for simulation, application development, and individual parts of the program are described using flow diagrams. Following this, the creation of the graphical user interface of the application and the economic analysis are detailed. The fourth chapter presents a case study with two scenarios. Based on the case study, the functionality of the application was verified, confirmed, and demonstrated.

Táto práca sa zaoberá implementáciou návrhu hardvéru a softvéru pre existujúcu hydroponickú mikrofarmu. Práca obsahuje rešerš literatúry a internetu zameranú na automatizované pestovanie rastlín. V práci sú opísané a porovnané rôzne typy bezpôdnych pestovateľských systémov. Riešia sa všeobecné požiadavky na rastliny a diskutuje sa o týchto požiadavkách. V práci je opísané aj inštrumentácia pomocou špecifických komponentov. Systém zahŕňa riadiacu jednotku, ovládanie ohrevu a prevzdušňovania živného roztoku, nastaviteľné osvetlenie a snímače pH, EC a teploty vody a okolia. Okrem toho sa diskutuje o výhodách a nevýhodách dvoch vybraných mikroprocesorových jednotiek. Ďalej je v práci opísaná aj činnosť mikrokontroléra, ktorý riadi jednotlivé komponenty. Táto práca stručne opisuje všeobecné zapojenie jednotlivých komponentov a obsahuje schémy zapojenia a dosku plošných spojov. Táto práca opisuje program firmvéru a funkcie webového rozhrania, ktoré slúži na interakciu so systémom. Okrem toho je vybavený funkciami diaľkového ovládania a monitorovania prostredníctvom webového rozhrania s e-mailovými upozorneniami pre potreby externých zásahov. Súčasťou tejto práce je aj implementácia elektroniky z hľadiska montáže a kalibrácie. This thesis deals with the implementation of hardware and software design for an existing hydroponic micro-farm. The thesis includes a literature and internet search focused on automated plant cultivation. A description of different types of soilless cultivation systems is given in the thesis. General plant requirements are addressed and these requirements are thoroughly discussed. Instrumentation using specific components is also described in the thesis. The system integrates a control unit, heating and aeration controls for the nutrient solution, adjustable lighting, and sensors for pH, EC, and adjustable water and ambient temperature. In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of two selected microprocessor units are discussed. Further, the operation of the microcontroller that controls the individual components is also described in the thesis. This thesis briefly describes the general circuitry of each component and includes circuit diagrams and the schematic of a printed circuit board. This thesis describes the program of the firmware and the functions of the web interface used to interact with the system. Additionally, it features remote control and monitoring capabilities via a web interface, with email alerts for external intervention needs. This thesis also includes the implementation of the electronics in terms of assembly and calibration.

Diplomová práca je zameraná na aplikáciu procesnej bezpečnosti podľa SIL pre plnenie tlakovej nádoby v energetickom priemysle konkrétne v petrochemickom závode na spracovanie ropy. V práci je stručná rešerš noriem IEC 61511 a IEC 61508, ktoré sú tu použité, definícia tlakovej nádoby, postupy SIL analýz, štúdia nebezpečenstva a prevádzkyschopnosti HAZOP, simulácia procesu v programe TIA portál a vytvorená aplikácia na generovanie chýb v C# pomocou knižnice S7.Net. V aplikácií sú generované chyby, ktoré môžu bežne nastať v prevádzke a simulácia procesu reaguje bezpečným spôsobom. V spolupráci s firmou McDermott bola spracovaná HAZOP a SIL analýza procesu, boli zhrnuté jej výsledky. Následne bola vytvorená simulácia procesu s aplikovanou ochranou. The thesis focuses on the application of process safety according to SIL for pressure vessel filling in the energy industry specifically in a petrochemical plant for oil processing. The thesis includes a brief research of IEC 61511 and IEC 61508 standards that are used here, definition of pressure vessel, SIL analysis procedures, HAZOP hazard and operability study, process simulation in TIA portal and developed an application for error generation in C# using S7.Net library. The application generates faults that may commonly occur in operation and the process simulation responds in a safe manner. A HAZOP and SIL analysis of the process was performed in collaboration with McDermott and the results were summarized. Subsequently, a process simulation with applied protection was created.

Táto dizertačná práca je zameraná na výskum elektródových materiálov pre lithium-sírové (Li-S) akumulátory, s dôrazom na optimalizáciu procesu prípravy kladných elektród prostredníctvom úprav jednotlivých technických krokov výrobného procesu a výberu vhodného spojiva. Teoretická časť práce sa venuje terminológii a problematike batérií s dôrazom na batérie Li-S, ich princíp fungovania, nedostatky, kritické parametre pre komercializáciu a existujúci výskum v tejto oblasti. Praktická časť práce sa zaoberá vplyvom lisovacieho tlaku použitého pri výrobe kladných elektród na elektrochemické vlastnosti výsledných Li-S článkov. V ďalšej časti práce je skúmaný vplyv použitého spojiva na výsledné elektrochemické vlastnosti. V nasledujúcich častiach je analyzovaný vplyv hrúbky vrstvy elektródového materiálu a pomer jeho jednotlivých zložiek (C/S) na výsledné elektrochemické vlastnosti Li-S článku. Na základe nameraných výsledkov boli identifikované optimálne podmienky pre prípravu kladných elektród Li-S článkov vzhľadom k jednotlivým technickým krokom výrobného procesu. This thesis is focused on the research of electrode materials for lithium-sulphur (Li-S) batteries, with an emphasis on the optimization of the process of preparation of positive electrodes through the modification of the individual technical steps of the manufacturing process and the selection of a suitable binder. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to terminology and battery issues with emphasis on Li-S batteries, their working principle, shortcomings, critical parameters for commercialization and existing research in this field. The practical part of the thesis deals with the influence of the compression pressure used in the production of positive electrodes on the electrochemical properties of the resulting Li-S cells. In the next part of the thesis, the influence of the binder used on the resulting electrochemical properties is investigated. In the following sections, the influence of the thickness of the electrode material layer and the ratio of its individual components (C/S) on the resulting electrochemical properties of the Li-S cell is analyzed. On the basis of the measured results, the optimum conditions for the preparation of the positive electrodes of the Li-S cells have been identified with respect to the individual technical steps of the manufacturing process.

Zadaním záverečnej diplomovej práce bol návrh urbánnej štruktúry polyfunkčného charakteru na území brownfieldu v Zlíne - miestnej časti Malenovice. Predmetom návrhu bolo dômyselne reagovať na okolitý kontext a zároveň aplikovať poznatky z preddiplomového projektu, ktorý analyzoval použitie udržateľných materiálov v bytovej výstavbe. Zadanie ďalej plynule prešlo do konkrétneho návrhu jedného bytového domu. Cieľom bolo vytvoriť pragmatické dostupné bývanie, ktoré by pomocou vhodného použitia stavebných materiálov a konštrukcií znižovalo celkové náklady na prevádzku a vytváralo kvalitné vnútorné prostredie. Práca sa vo finále zaoberá urbanistickým, architektonickým, dispozičným ale aj stavebným riešením. Taktiež ponúka niekoľko technických a konštrukčných detailov rôznych mierok. Zadanie bolo určitým spôsobom špecifické a možností ako sa s ním vysporiadať bolo niekoľko. Navrhované riešenie sa snaží otvoriť diskusiu o vhodnom zaplnení prázdneho pozemku a zároveň otvára tému elementárnych dispozícií a foriem. The assignment of the final diploma thesis was the design of an urban structure of a multifunctional nature on the territory of a brownfield in Zlín – in a regional part Malenovice. The subject of the proposal was to react ingeniously to the surrounding context and at the same time to apply knowledge from the pre-diploma project, which analyzed the use of sustainable materials in housing construction. The assignment then smoothly transitioned into the specific design of one apartment building. The goal was to create pragmatic affordable housing that would reduce overall operating costs and create a quality indoor environment through the appropriate use of building materials and constructions. Finally, the work deals with urban, architectural, dispositional and construction solutions. It also offers several technical and constructional details of various scales. The assignment was specific in a certain way and there were several ways to deal with it. The proposed solution tries to open up a discussion about the appropriate filling of an empty lot and at the same time opens the topic of elementary dispositions and forms.

Cieľom diplomovej práce je analyzovať šírenie svetla v optických vláknach pomocou dvoch polarizačných rovín a posúdenie súčasných polarizačných senzorov. Dôraz je kladený na diaľkové napájanie polarizačných senzorov v špeciálnych prostrediach. Hlavným príspevkom tejto práce je návrh funkčného usporiadanie optovláknových komponentov tak aby bolo umožnené efektívne využitie senzorov v špeciálnych prostrediach s dôrazom na detekciu zmien neelektrických veličín. Výsledky práce potvrdzujú že senzory poskytujú veľkú mieru spoľahlivosti v náročných podmienkach a tak sú ideálne pre aplikovanie do špeciálnych prostredí, sú vhodné na detekciu na dlhšie vzdialenosti spolu s možnosťou použitia vo vojenskom a chemickom prostredí. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the propagation of light in optical fibers using two polarization planes and to assess current polarization sensors. Emphasis is placed on the remote powering of polarization sensors in special environments. The main contribution of this work is the design of the functional arrangement of the optical fiber components to enable efficient use of the sensors in special environments, with emphasis on the detection of changes in non-electrical quantities. The results of the work confirm that the sensors provide a high degree of reliability in harsh environments and so are ideal for application in special environments, being suitable for detection over longer distances along with the possibility of use in military and chemical environments.

Táto diplomová práca sa zameriava na vytvorenie webovej aplikácie pre automatizovaný návrh počítačových sietí v kontexte rýchleho rozvoja informačných technológií a ich kľúčovej úlohy v podnikovom prostredí. Práca sa skladá z teoretickej a praktickej časti, pričom teoretická časť sa venuje vývoju webových aplikácií, potrebných programovacích\\ jazykov a nástrojov a teórii počítačových sietí a ich návrhu. Praktická časť obsahuje návrh a implementáciu backendu s relačnou databázou a frontendu s opisom komponentov a funkcionality. Vytvorená webová aplikácia demonštruje, ako automatizovaný návrh siete prispieva k efektívnemu plánovaniu a implementácii počítačových sietí. This master thesis focuses on creating a web application for the automated design of computer networks in the context of the rapid development of information technologies and their crucial role in the business environment. The work consists of theoretical and practical parts, with the theoretical part addressing the development of web applications, necessary programming languages, and tools, as well as the theory of computer networks and their design. The practical section includes the design and implementation of the backend with a relational database and the frontend with a description of components and functionality. The developed web application demonstrates how automated network design contributes to efficient planning and implementation of computer networks.
