Ztratili jsme vodu. Ztratili jsme s ní přirozený kontakt. Díky změně klimatu se dostáváme do situace, ve které máme buď vody moc – přívalové deště a tající sníh, anebo jí máme nedostatek během čím dál častějších such. Řešení jsou v nedohlednu. Vodu si na dluh bereme z podzemních rezerv a neplánujeme ho splatit. A přitom, když už nám zaprší, tak nám voda protéká přímo skrze prsty skrze města ven. Pryč, pryč, pryč! Je třeba vrátit vodu do každodenního běhu města, vnímat ji jako zásadní součást ekvivalentní jakékoliv jiné infrastruktuře, třeba zeleni. Zeleň = modřeň. Je potřeba si udržovat vodu na místě. Víc vody se nám jen tak neobjeví, pitné je málo, a tak je nejen rozumné, ale i zásadní pro naši budoucnost si nějaký ten ždibec ponechávat. Viditelné s neviditelným. Viditelné pozemní praporky, pomyslné třešínky na technologickém dortu ve formě podzemních katedrál či bank. Aqua bank. We've lost water. We've lost natural contact with it. Thanks to climate change, we find ourselves in a situation where we either have too much water - flash floods and melting snow, or we have a shortage during increasingly frequent droughts. Solutions are nowhere in sight. We're borrowing water from underground reserves and not planning to repay it. And yet, when it does rain, the water slips through our fingers straight out of the cities. Go away! It is necessary to reintegrate water into the everyday functioning of the city, perceive it as a fundamental part equivalent to any other infrastructure, such as greenery. Greenery = bluery. It is necessary to retain water in place. More water won't just appear, drinking water is scarce, so it's not only reasonable but crucial for our future to preserve at least a drop or two. Visible with the invisible. Visible surface flags, imaginary cherries on the technological cake in the form of underground cathedrals or banks. Aqua bank.

Ta naše hospoda

Volný večer, sraz s přáteli, oslava, nebo zastávka na výletě. To vše nám poskytuje hospoda. Český fenomén, pro naši kulturu tak jedinečný, jehož vlastnosti daleko přesahují jen výčep s pivní pěnou a cinkání skla. V průběhu časů nabírala různých podob a její vývoj reagoval na řadu vnějších faktorů. S jistotou však můžeme říct, že její rysy přetrvávají v kterékoliv době i formě. Tradice, pocit sounáležitosti, komunikace a hlavně útočště, kde čas mění svou rychlost. Místo, které přijímá své hosty s otevřenou náručí a jistotou. Diplomová práce reaguje na současnou situaci hospodské kultury v sudetské oblasti Bruntálska a Rýmařovska a předkládá manuál české hospody s konkrétní aplikací na koncepční vizi v dané oblasti. Navazuje na předdiplomový projekt, jehož obsah shrnoval vývoj a funkci hospody v průběhu časů. Návrh vychází z poznatků získaných při sledování fenoménu. Pracuje se stávajícími objekty, kterým se snaží vrátit život a navrhnout způsob, jak je v dnešní době uchopit. A free evening, a gathering with friends, a celebration, or a stop on a journey. All of these are provided by the pub. A Czech phenomenon, so uniquely ingrained in our culture, whose characteristics extend far beyond just the taproom with beer foam and clinking glasses. Over time, it has taken on various forms, its development influenced by numerous external factors. However, we can confidently say that its traits endure in any era or manifestation. Tradition, a sense of belonging, communication, and above all, a refuge where time changes its pace. A place that welcomes its guests with open arms and assurance. The thesis responds to the current state of pub culture in the Sudeten region of Bruntálsko and Rýmařovsko, presenting a manual for Czech pubs with a specific application to the conceptual vision in the given area. It builds upon a pre-diploma project summarizing the evolution and function of pubs over time. The proposal is informed by insights gained from observing the phenomenon. It engages with existing establishments, aiming to breathe life into them and proposing ways to approach them in the present day.

Cieľom mojej diplomovej práce je prostredníctvom územnej štúdie identifikovať a preveriť potenciál územia centrálnej zóny sídliska Klokočina v Nitre. Pracujem s koncepciou mestského rozvoja navrhnutou v územnom pláne, ktorú dôkladne analyzujem a ďalej rozvíjam. Hlavný dôraz práce je kladený na vytvorenie kvalitného verejného priestoru a podporu sociálne udržateľnej výstavby. Navrhujem nové mestské priestory a nadväzujúcu štruktúru zástavby, ktorá nové mestské priestory formuje. Územná štúdia je vypracovaná s ambíciou slúžiť mestu Nitra ako kvalitný referenčný materiál pre rozhodovanie v území a územné plánovanie, ktoré zabezpečí udržateľný rozvoj daného územia. The research objective of my diploma thesis is to identify and examine the potential of the central zone of the Klokočina housing estate in Nitra City through a spatial study. I work with the urban development concept proposed in the city zoning plan, which I thoroughly analyse and further develop. The main emphasis of the work is on creating a quality public space and promoting socially sustainable ways of future building development. I design new urban spaces and the subsequent urban building structure that shapes the new urban spaces. The proposed spatial study can serve the city of Nitra as a quality reference material for decision-making in the territory and spatial planning, which provides sustainable urban development.

Predmetom diplomovej práce je návrh bytového domu typu Baugruppe. Jedná sa o malometrážne byty, ktoré sú cenovo dostupné pre mladé rodiny ako i jednotlivcov. Koncepčný návrh je položený na v našich končinách netradičnom princípe mezonetových bytov. Ten má obyvateľom evokovať bývanie v rodinnom dome, ktorého finančné výdaje spojené s jeho údržbou sú omnoho nižšie. Diplomová práca nadväzuje na analýzy a poznatky nadobudnuté v preddiplomovej práci vypracovanej v minulom semestri. The subject of the thesis is the design of a residential building of the Baugruppe type. These are small-sized apartments that are affordable for young families as well as individuals. The conceptual design is based on the unconventional principle of maisonette apartments in our region. It aims to evoke the experience of living in a single family home, with significantly lower financial expenses associated with its maintenance. The thesis builds upon analyses and knowledge acquired in the pre-thesis work completed in the previous semester.

Práce se zabývá vlivem prostředí na člověka a spojením mezi člověkem a přírodou. Naráží na nedostatek kvalitních exteriérových prostorů a to jak soukromých, tak i poloveřejných (komunitních). Práce navazuje na předdiplomový projekt, který se zabývá komfortem v městském prostředí. V rámci zadaného území je vypracován konkrétní návrh bytového domu, který je o vnější prostory obohacen. The work deals with the influence of the environment on humans. The connection between man and nature. It alludes to the lack of exterior spaces, both private and semi-private (community). The work is a continuation of the pre-diploma project, which dealt with comfort in the urban environment.Within the specified area, a specific design of an apartment building is developed, which is enriched with external spaces.

Enviromentální centrum ve Vyškově

Návrh environmentálního centra zaměřeného na stromy tradiční na Hanácku a Moravě s environmentální výukou pro převážně děti školou povinné z okolí. Centrum doplní kousek dál stojící zoo a hanácký statek, kteří se zaměřují na tradiční zvířata a život lidí na Hanácku. Součástí bude i nová skautská základna pro místní oddíly skautů ve více vyhovující lokalitě. Dále v centru budou výstavní prostory zaměřené hlavně na sadařství a kavárna. Dále se v centru nachází nové zázemí pro bezobalový obchod a ekoporadnu s malou knihovnou pro veřejnost. V centru mají možnost pronájmu prostor i různé spolky z Vyškova. Počíta se hlavně se spolkem Zelený Vyškov. Společně se stavbou proběhne revitalizace štěpnice a její nové osázení. Obnoví se částečně původní členění zahrady cestami jak tomu je na skice z 18. století. Design of an environmental center focused on traditional trees in Hanáck and Moravia with environmental education for mainly school-aged children from the surrounding area. The center will be complemented by the nearby zoo and Hanáck farm, which focus on traditional animals and the life of people in Hanáck. It will also include a new scout base for local scout groups in a more convenient location. Furthermore, the center will have exhibition spaces focused mainly on orchards and a cafe. In addition, the center has new facilities for packaging-free shops and an eco-advice for the public with small libraly. Various associations from Vyškov also have the option of renting space in the center. It mainly counts with the association Zelený Vyškov. Together with the construction, the revitalization of the woodshed and its new planting will take place. The original division of the garden by paths will be partially restored, as it is in the sketch from the 18th century.

Diplomová práca je zameraná na strategický plán využitia pozemku vo vlastníctve mesta Kopřivnice, na ktorom sa v minulosti nachádzalo hádzanárske ihrisko so športovým zázemím, tzv. Házeňák. Návrh nadväzuje na preddiplomový projekt, ktorý skúma teóriu budovania socialistických pásmových miest a vplyv takto budovaného urbanizmu na podobu mesta Kopřivnice a jej obyvateľov. Urbanistické riešenie pozemku bývalého Házeňáku využíva striedanie voľných priestorov a primeranej zástavby, ktorá rešpektuje jestvujúci objekt reštaurácie. Funkcia navrhovaných budov kombinuje administratívu, komerčný parter a obytné podlažia so strešnou terasou. Detailom stratégie rozvoja vybraného územia sa stáva jeden z bytových domov, ktorý je budovaný formou stavebnej skupiny, tzv. “Baugruppe”, pozostávajúcej z dvanástich modelových domácností, ktorých individuálne požiadavky sa odrážajú na dispozícii konkrétnych bytov. Materiálové riešenie bytového domu vychádza z pozorovania okolitej zástavby a nezameniteľného charakteru mesta. Svojou fasádou tiež zohľadňuje individualitu obyvateľov a dynamicky reaguje na život v novom susedstve. This diploma thesis is aimed at the strategic plan for new use of a plot owned by the town of Kopřivnice, which formerly accomodated exterior handball courts with adjacent facilities and a restaurant, the so-called “Házeňák”. The design follows up the pre-diploma project, which analyses the building theory of socialist urban planning, precisely regarding the zoned city and its influence on the form of the town Kopřivnice as well as the life of its inhabitants. The master planning of the choosen plot relies on the alternation of free urban space and buildings of adequate scale, which respects the existing restaurant building. The typology of the designed buildings combines administration, commercial ground floor and residential floors with the access to roof terraces. The detail of the choosen development strategy is demonstrated on the design of an apartment building which implements the “Baugruppe” construction model consisting of twelve model households. The individual requirements of these households are reflected in the separate layouts of the apartments. The materiality of this apartment building reacts to the observation of the surrounding development and an unmistakeable character of the town. The design of the facade also takes into account the individuality of the households and dynamically reacts to the life in the new neighborhood.

Cílem projektu je proměna bývalého areálu textilní továrny mezi ulicí Valchařská a řekou Svitavou. Jak bylo poukázáno již v před-diplomní práci (BYSTROŇ Tomáš, Kde budeme bydlet Brno), současná funkce lokality již neodpovídá potenciálu místa. Naopak z hlediska polohy a blízkosti přírodních prvků se místo zdá velmi přívětivým pro umístění nové obytné čtvrti, která bude těžit jak z nábřeží a okolních parků a lesoparků, tak i z velmi dobrého napojení na městskou hromadnou dopravu a skrz ni na centrum Brna. The aim of the project is to transform the former factory site between Valchařská Street and the Svitava River. As pointed out in the pre-diploma thesis (BYSTROŇ Tomáš, Kde budeme bydlet Brno), the current function of the site no longer corresponds to the potential of the site. On the other hand, in terms of location and proximity to natural features, the site seems very favourable for the location of a new residential quarter, which will benefit from the waterfront and the surrounding parks and woodland, as well as from very good connections to public transport and through it to the centre of Brno.

Má diplomová práce se zabývá urbanisticky lokalitou Stará Osada, která je tepnou městské části Brno- Židenice. Pro městskou část Brno - Židenice je to společenský a dopravní uzel. Stará Osada je součástí širšího centra města. Tento dopravní uzel definuje zástavba panelových domů, kde dominantu prostředí tvoří třinácti podlažní dům. Stará Osada by se dala definovat podobně jako je Mendlovo náměstí v Brně. Oproti Mendlovu náměstí je prostor Staré Osady velmi roztříštěný, neuspořádaný a lidé jej pouze využívají jako přestupní místo pro městskou hromadnou dopravu.. Jelikož se jedná o prostor, který by se dal považovat za centrální, tak mluvíme o náměstí, a tím Stará Osada není. V návaznosti na budování Nové Zbrojovky a dopravní tunelu se v budoucnu bude řešit i uklidnění dopravy na ulicích Gajdošova- Svatoplukova, která v současnosti tvoří městský okruh- „magistrálu“. Stará Osada má potenciál být plnohodnotným centrum Židenic, který podporuje rozvoj městské části, o něž městská část snaží. Cílem diplomové práce je návrh veřejného prostoru v podobě náměstí s novými stavbami, podporující rozvoj, které v městské části chybí. Budovy svou hmotou uzavřou a scelí prostor Staré Osady a bude manifestem možného architekto-urbanistického řešení prostoru Stará Osada. Náměstí a přilehlé budovy dají možnost zvýšení počtu společenských akcí i možnost nového bydlení. My master thesis deals with the urban locality Stará Osada, which is an artery of the urban district of Brno- Židenice. It is a social and transport hub for the Brno - Židenice district. Stará Osada is part of the wider city centre. This traffic junction is defined by a development of prefabricated houses, where the dominant feature of the environment is a thirteen-storey building. Stará Osada could be defined similarly to Mendel Square in Brno. Compared to Mendel Square, the space of Stará Osada is very fragmented, disorganised and people only use it as a transfer point for public transport. In connection with the construction of the New Armoury and the traffic tunnel, traffic calming on Gajdošova- Svatoplukova Streets, which currently form the city ring road, will be addressed in the future. Stará Osada has the potential to be a full-fledged centre of Židenice, which supports the development of the urban district, which the district strives for. The aim of the thesis is to design a public space in the form of a square with new buildings, supporting the development that is lacking in the urban district. The buildings, by their mass, will enclose and integrate the space of Stará Osada and will be a manifesto of a possible architectural and urbanistic solution for Stará Osada. The square and the adjacent buildings will provide the opportunity for increased social events and new housing.

The Wola district, situated on the western fringe of downtown Warsaw, stands as an unmistakable testament to the city’s evolution. It embodies a vibrant blend of its industrial past and contemporary urbanism. Once a vibrant industrial hub spurred by railroad construction and postwar reconstruction, Wola has metamorphosed into a dynamic landscape marked by towering skyscrapers and high-end residential enclaves. Despite this, there are clear echoes of its industrial legacy in the repurposed facades of former factories, now buzzing hubs of commercial and cultural activity. The diploma project’s focus is on the rejuvenation of Kercelak, a once bustling marketplace and square that thrived from 1867 to 1947. Kercelak has a rich historical significance. However, it has succumbed to the tide of gentrification, and as a result, its communal spaces are neglected amidst the surge of modern investments. The project will breathe new life into these abandoned public realms through adaptive reuse and thoughtful design interventions. It will foster community engagement and connectivity. The project will create inclusive and accessible public spaces that transcend the dominance of vehicular traffic and gentrified enclaves. It will seamlessly integrate historical legacies, post-war housing, and contemporary developments to forge a cohesive, functional, and visually continuous spatial continuum. The project will not only revitalize Kercelak but also foster a sense of belonging and cohesion among its diverse inhabitants.
