Analysis of starch degradation products and other carbohydrates from spruce needles using various analytical techniques
Cabálková, J.; Chmelík, Josef
2004 - English
Starch degradation products were analysed by AsFlFFF-MALS-RI and SEC-MALS-RI for determination of molar mass distribution. Separation of low molecular weight fractions of carbohydrates using HPLC-RI led to the identification of various mono-, di-, tri and tetrasaccharides. MALDI-TOF MS spectra showed the presence of higher oligosaccharides Degradační produkty škrobu byly analyzovány pomocí AsFlFFF-MALS-RI a SEC-MALS-RI a stanoveny distribuce molekulových hmotností. Separace nízkomolekulárních frakcí karbohydrátů pomocí HPLC-RI vedla k identifikaci různých mono-, di-, tri a tetrasacharidů. MALDI-TOF MS spektra prokázala přítomnost vyšších oligosacharidů Keywords: Norway spruce; needles; carbohydrates Available at various institutes of the ASCR

Dynamic modification of microorganisms by pyrene-butanoate for fluorometric detection in capillary electrokinetic techniques
Horká, Marie; Růžička, F.; Šlais, Karel
2003 - English
Pyrenebutanoate and non-ionogenic tenside on the basis of pyrenebutanoate as the fluorescent compounds were used as buffer additives in capillary zone electrophoresis or capillary isoelectric focusing, respectively, for a dynamic modification of the microbial samples. Using the deuterium lamp UV excitation for the on column fluorometric detection, the minimum detectable amount of the microorganisms in order of ones to tens of cells sampled on the separation capillary was achieved. Keywords: capillary electrokinetic techniques; dynamic modification of microorganisms; fluorometric detection Available at various institutes of the ASCR
