Vehicle Driving Simulator With Data Acquisition
Michalík, David
English
This paper describes the creation of a vehicle driving simulator that collects and implements data acquired from a driver’s inputs. These data are stored for future analysis of the driver and his style of driving. The simulator itself is realized through the Unreal Engine by Epic Games. The paper explains vital steps of the process such as importing vehicle models, creating armature for physics and the creation of the world itself, alongside the data overview of gathered information. An Influence Of Physical Electrode Models In Rat’S Head Forward Modelling
Kuřátko, David
English
Reliable inverse imaging of source currents in rat’s brain requires moderate models of fields to calibrate inverse solvers. The article is focused on the comparison of measured potentials on rat’s brain surface with and without physical electrode models. For the simulation purpose, the 3D models of the brain, the cerebrospinal fluid, and the skull were developed from magnetic resonance images (MRI). Moreover, the pink noise was added to measured potentials to obtain more realistic results. Simulations showed higher values of potentials when physical electrode models were considered. Fortunately, the presence of electrode models does not influence the potential waveform. Therefore, the inclusion of electrode models to forward modelling can contribute to the increase of accuracy of an inverse solver, and thus the localization of current sources in rat’s brain. Device For Automatic Testing Of Ultrasonic Gas Leak Detector
Skryja, Petr
English
In this paper a device for automatic testing of the gas leak detector is presented. The device allows testing product which is an embedded device that is improved during a development. This requires testing the product after each implementation of a new feature, as there may be situations where this implementation will stop some part of the product from being functional. For realization mini PC Beaglebone Black was used and software architecture of this device is introduced. The presented device is able to do automatic testing that is more accurate and faster than human testing. The Optimisation Of Large Scale Logical Circuits
Seda, Pavel
English
In the phase of designing the logical circuits, it is essential to minimise the number of elements because it leads to the more reliable, more secure, and cheaper solution. For the logical functions with less than 4 variables, the Karnaugh maps are suitable. However, in practice, we encounter usually a much more complex function, in those cases, we could apply Boolean algebra laws directly or use the Quine-McCluskey method, which is based on their systematic use. Unfortunately, this method does not usually provide a minimal form of logical function for really large scale logical functions, and in a result may be redundant expressions. For that reason, we show that we could apply an additional phase which leads to the set covering problem which needs to cover all the inputs by the obtained outputs. Since this problem is N P-hard, it is necessary to use heuristic methods, such as simulated annealing. Network Performance Optimization
Grenar, David
English
It is necessary to monitor the usage of network resources within the network, and provide the solution in order to avoid network congestion problems. Based on it, a real-time network traffic analysis followed and optimization of the performance benefits. Paper will implement solution of congestion problems with packets, which are processed in RouterOS. This method will combine with mangle, firewall rules, so that we can manage the internet connection to our network ideally, and prioritize the connection packet that we want to get priority in size as we need. Keywords: Mikrotik RouterOS; Performance; Implementation; Congestion Available in a digital repository NRGL

Open-Source Implementation Of Smart Home Gateway For Z-Wave Protocol
Krejci, Jan
English
Z-Wave protocol is one of the most popular wireless protocols for home automation or smart home. However, in recent years there have been only few studies on practical measurements of this protocol. There are several manufacturers on the market, implying a vast array of devices, as well as deploying a commercial solution to the home is expensive and mostly focused on a single manufacturer’s portfolio. In this article, we designed and implemented our own Z-Wave home gateway for a smart home system based on open source software. We verified the feasibility of the proposed gate using the prototype and evaluated its performance according to the execution time of the command. We also discussed the limitations of the Z-Wave protocol based on our experience. Universal Graphical User Interface For Multi Vendor Edfa Optical Modules Control
Dejda, Petr
English
This article describes design and development of a universal software for communication with erbium-dopped fiber amplifiers (EDFA) optical modules using serial line. User-friendly environment created in LabView enables not only setting of EDFA parameters but also reading all necessary EDFA parameters at the same time. Multi vendor interoperability is made possible by the proposed simple implementation of control commands that are stored in a text file. Shock Response Spectrum Testing With Shock Machine
Šindelář, Michal
English
Transient mechanical shocks cause dynamic stress in structures which results in defect or malfunction of exposed devices. A shock response spectrum (SRS) is used for characterizing an acceleration response of linear single degree of freedom system to these shocks. This paper is focused on presentation of the shock response spectrum derived from half-sine shock generated by shock machine. A Comparison Of Methods For The Bearing State Evaluation
Doseděl, Martin
English
This paper shows a comparison of several methods commonly used for the bearing state evaluation. A brand new bearing (of the type ZKL1202) as well as a damaged one were used for the tests done at a simple rotating machine. An obvious methods, such as kurtosis, crest factor, a high frequency band RMS value, a spectral analysis of a base band signal and the envelope analysis were used. The results show, that all methods are able to detect the failure bearing with the high reliability compared to the initial state of the bearing.
