Organické sloučeniny v PM1 aerosolu v Ostravě a v Mladé Boleslavi v zimním období
Křůmal, Kamil; Mikuška, Pavel; Večeřa, Zbyněk
2015 - Czech
V této práci byly měřeny organické sloučeniny a markery, které slouží pro identifikaci zdrojů atmosférických aerosolů. Byly analyzovány anhydridy monosacharidů (emise ze spalování biomasy), polyaromatické uhlovodíky (emise z dopravy a nedokonalého spalování), hopany a sterany (doprava, spalování uhlí) a alkany. In this work the organic compounds and organic markers used for the identification of sources of aerosols were measured. Monosaccharide anhydrides and resin acids (emissions from biomass combustion) and polyaromatic hydrocarbons (emissions from traffic and incomplete combustion) were observed especially. Hopanes, steranes (traffic, coal combustion) and alkanes were next groups of analysed organic compounds.

Simple flow-focusing microfluidic chip for droplet generation
Křivánková, Jana; Basova, E. Y.; Foret, František
2015 - English
There is an ascending requirement for analysis of chemical content of individual cells involving combination of various bioanalytical and optical sensors and arrangements. At the beginning of the cell analysis there is a need for creation of suitable transport vessels - droplets - that can be easily counted, sorted and serve for manipulation of cells with preserved biocompability as well. Among all of bioanalytical approaches droplet-based microfluidics proved its potential for producing droplets with precisely controlled size, shape as well as for encapsulation of reactants and delivering drugs. This study presents a simple microfluidic chip with flow-focusing geometry for generation of water droplets in fluorocarbon oil.

Comparison of ionisation properties of aetma-labeled saccharides with common labels
Partyka, Jan; Foret, František
2015 - English
We have tested (2-aminoethyl)trimethylammonium (AETMA) as a label for analysis of oligosaccharides by capillary electrophoresis with electrospray (ESI) mass spectrometry detection and compared its performance to taurine, 2-aminobenzoic acid, 2-aminobenzamide and 8-aminopyrene-1,3,6-trisulfonic acid. The AETMA-labeled saccharides were provided higher ionization signals in positive mode than native sodium or ammonium adducts and equal or higher signals than saccharides labeled by the more commonly used labels tested in this study.
