Practical part of the diploma work consists of worksheets compiled to authentic material from Switzerland such as pictures, pamphlets, billboards etc. It points at the connection between the theory and practice as well. 2009 - German Diplomová práce pojednává o využití pohádek v hodinách německého jazyka. Vymezuje pohádku jako literární žánr, obhajuje názor, že je vhodná pro dítě, pro rozvoj jeho osobnosti i pro využití pohádky ve vzdělávání. Hlavním cílem mé práce je předvést čtenáři různé vzdělávací i zábavné aktivity s pohádkami. Žáci si při nich zdokonalují komunikativní dovednosti, výslovnost, psaní, učí se a opakují gramatiku a slovní zásobu a zároveň zapojují i svou fantazii, jsou kreativní. Má práce dává typy jak pro aktivity s poezií, tak s prózou a podává ucelenou ukázku práce s pohádkou na projektovém vyučování. My graduation theses analyses the use of fairy tales in German lessons. It defines a fairy tale as a literature genre, argues the opinion of its use for children and for harmonious development of their individuality, as well as for the use of fairy tales in the process of education. The major aim of my graduation theses is the presentation of various educational and enjoyable activities based on fairy tales. Pupils can improve their communication, pronunciation and writing skills, they can learn and grammar and vocabulary, they can involve their imagination and fantasy. My thesis provides a few hints how to work both with poetry and prose, and how to use fairy tales in project teaching. 2009 - German Diplomová práce pojednává o využití interaktivní tabule v hodinách německého jazyka na 2. stupni základních škol. Cílem mé práce je nejen popsat možnosti interaktivní tabule, ale i ukázat čtenáři různé aktivity s využitím interaktivní tabule, která přispívají k efektivní a mediální výuce a motivují žáka k aktivitě . Při práci s interaktivní tabulí si žáci mohou zdokonalovat všechny své komunikativní dovednosti, mohou si procvičovat gramatiku a obohacují si slovní zásobu německého jazyka. Jednotlivé aktivity a návrhy hodin jsou detailně popsány včetně konkrétních příkladů. My diploma project deals with the use of interactive whiteboard in German lessons at lower-secondary school. The aim of my work is not only to describe the possibilities of an interactive whiteboard but also to show the reader different activities that help to create effective and interactive lessons and motivate pupils to be active. While working with the interactive whiteboard, learners can improve all their language skills, practice grammar and enrich the vocabulary of German language. 2009 - German Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku Romů a Sintů v německé dětské literatuře pro děti a mládež. Byla provedena analýza a srovnání 3 dětských knížek s touto tématikou. Analýza dokázala, že knihy obsahují historické elementy, kulturní tradice i současný přístup k této národnostní menšině. Autoři analyzovaných knih bojují s předsudky a rasismem. Literatura obsahuje i didaktické hledisko. The aim of this thesis is to examine issues of Sinths and Romany people, as shown in the literature for children and youth written in German language. Three children{\crq}s books dealing with this topic were analyzed and compared. The analysis has proved that these books manage to incorporate various historical occasions, cultural traditions as well as current approach to this minority. Additionally, the authors of these books struggle against prejudice and racism. Literature dealing with these problems also includes didactic aspects. 2008 - German Tato literárněvědní práce se zabývá interpretací románu Moskauer Eis současné německé autorky Annett Gröschner. První část se věnuje recepci díla u literární kritiky, jeho anekdotickému charakteru a jazykovým prostředkům. V druhé části se nachází analýza mnohovrstevnaté struktury románu. Třetí část obsahuje chronologicky seřazené události týkající se tří generací hlavních hrdinů, na nichž se odráží dějiny NDR. Na základě této části probíhá v následujícím díle rozbor hlavních motivů ledu/ zmrzliny ("Eis") a chladu, které prostupují celým dílem. Pátá kapitola zkoumá autobiografické prvky v ději a "kronikářský" přístup autorky k tvorbě. V poslední části je Moskauer Eis zařazen do kontextu německy psaných literárních děl s obdobnými motivy. This graduation thesis interprets the contemporary German author Annet Gröschner{\crq}s novel Moskauer Eis. The first part comments literary critics{\crq} reviews on the book, the novel{\crq}s anecdotic character and its language. The second chapter analyzes the multiple work structure. The third part discusses family history of the three major figures in chronological order, which reflects the history of the GDR. The following chapter deals with the central motifs of ice/ice cream ("Eis") and cold/coldness which appear throughout the novel. The fifth part focuses on the autobiographical elements and the author{\crq}s "chronicler approach" to her work. In the last chapter, Moskauer Eis is put into the context of German literary works with central motifs "ice" or "coldness". Das Goethe-Institut- Die Kulturarbeit des Goethe-Instituts am Beispiel der Region Mittelosteuropa

2008 - German Tématem této diplomové práce je Goethe-Institut a především jeho kulturní činnost v regionu středovýchodní Evropa. Goethe-Institut je kulturní institut Spolkové republiky Německo s celosvětovou působností. Podporuje znalost německého jazyka v zahraničí a pěstuje mezinárodní kulturní spolupráci. Těžištěm jeho činnosti je zprostředkování komplexního obrazu Německa za pomocí informací o kulturním, společenském a politickém životě. Vedle jazykových kurzů nabízí bohatý výběr kulturních představení a zprostředkovává informace o Německu. Provozuje siť tuzemských a zahraničních institutů. V Německu existuje 13 Goethe-Institutů, v zahraničí působí 147 Goethe-Institutů v 83 zemích světa. V první části práce jsem se zaměřila na historická východiska při vzniku Goethe-Institutu. Hlavní roli při jeho vzniku sehrála Deutsche Akademie. Jednalo se o jednu z největších organizací zahraniční kulturní politiky v letech 1925 až 1945. Po druhé světové válce byla její činnost ukončena Američany. Po roce 1948 se objevily snahy založit nový spolek, který by převzal část činnosti Deutsche Akademie. Hlavním organizátorem byl Thierfelder. Goethe-Institut zahájil svou činnost v roce 1951. Jeho práce se postupně rozvíjela a rozšiřovala jak v oblasti činnosti, tak i v otevírání poboček Goethe-Institutu v zahraničí. V další části práce jsem zpracovala všeobecné informace o činnosti Goethe-Institutu. Popsala jsem jeho organizační strukturu a podrobněji jsem se zabývala jeho hlavními pilíři činnosti- jazykovou prací (pořádání jazykových kurzů zakončených jazykovou zkouškou), kulturou (pořádání výstav, divadelních a filmových představení, hudebních festivalů a koncertů apod.) a informacemi o aktuálním dění v Německu. Dále jsem popsala činnost poboček Goethe-Institutu jak v tuzemsku tak i v zahraničí. V poslední části práce byla mým cílem analýza kulturní činnosti Goethe-Institutu v regionu středovýchodní Evropa v letech 1990-2000 a 2000-2007. Pro analýzu jsem si zvolila Goethe-Instituty v Bratislavě, Budapešti, Krakově, Praze a Varšavě. Tyto regiony spojuje především jejich čtyřicetiletá socialistická minulost. Všechny Goethe-Instituty provozují vedle jazykových kurzů i bohatý program kulturních představení.V kulturní oblasti se zabývají především obory hudba, literatura, výtvarné umění, film, divadlo a tanec. Nejvíce kulturních představení zorganizoval v letech 1990-2007 Goethe-Institut v Budapesti. Do roku 2000 byla největší činnost zaměřena na obor film a literatura. Po roce 2000 byla kulturní činnost rozdělena rovnoměrněji mezi jednotlivé obory. V oboru film a literatura byl nejaktivnější Goethe-Institut v Budapešti. V oboru hudba zorganizoval nejvíce představení Goethe-Institut v Praze a nejaktivnější v oborech výtvarné umění, divadlo a tanec byl Goethe-Institut ve Varšavě. Výsledky kulturní činnosti Goethe-Institutů v tomto regionu jsou však ovlivněny mnoha záležitostmi. Důležitou roli hraje jak velikost příslušného Goethe-Institutu, tak i finanční podpora od jeho sponzorů. The topic of this thesis is the Goethe-Institut and mainly its cultural activities in the Middle Eastern European region. The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany{\crq}s cultural institution operational worldwide. It promotes the knowledge of German language abroad and cultivates international cultural partnership. The focus of its activities is presenting the comprehensive image of Germany by providing information on its culture, society and politics. In addition to language courses it offers a rich range of cultural performances and provides information on Germany. It runs a network of both internal and external institutes. In Germany there are 13 Goethe-Instituts, 147 Goethe-Instituts operate abroad in 83 countries of the world. I aimed the first part of my thesis at the historic base for the Goethe-Institut establishment. The German Academy (Deutsche Akademie) played the leading role for its establishing. It was one of the biggest associations of foreign cultural policy between 1925 - 1945. After WWII its activities were terminated by the Americans. After 1948 there were attempts to establish a new association to take over a part of the Deutsche Akademie´s activities. The main organizer was Thierfelder. The Goethe-Institut began its activities in 1951. Its functioning was gradually developed and extended both on the field of activities and in opening new branch offices of the Goethe-Institut abroad. I compiled general information on activities of the Goethe-Institut in the other part of my thesis. I described its administrative structure and dealed with its main activities in details- language activities ( organizing language courses resulting in language exams), culture (organizing exhibitions, theatre performances, movies, music festivals and concerts etc.) and information on current events in Germany. Furthermore I described activities of branch offices of the Goethe-Institut both at home and abroad. The aim of the last part of my thesis was analysis of cultural activities of the Goethe-Institut in the Middle Eastern European region in the periods 1990-2000 and 2000-2007. I chose Goethe-Instituts in Bratislava, Budapest, Krakow, Prague and Warsaw for my analysis. These regions are pre-eminently interconnected by their forty-year socialist past. All the Goethe-Instituts provide language courses and a rich programme of cultural performances as well. They deal with music, literature, art, film, theatre and dance on the culture field above all. In the period 1990-2007 the Goethe-Institut in Budapest organized most of all the cultural performances. Until 2000 most activities were aimed at the domain of film and literature. After 2000 the cultural activities were divided into particular domains more evenly. The Goethe-Institut in Budapest was the most active in the film and literature domains. The Goethe-Institut in Prague organized the most of performances in the music domain and the Goethe-Institut in Warsaw was the most active in the art, theatre and dance domains. However, the results of cultural activities of the Goethe-Instituts in this region are influenced by many affairs. Both the size of the respective Goethe-Institut and its sponsors´ financial support play an important role. The diploma project deals with texts and their usage in lessons of German language. There is a survey of historically important Methods with a view to textwork. The definitions, historical beginnings, division and the criteria for the choice of texts can be also found in the work. Cílem mé práce je ukázat čtenáři různé aktivity s populárními písněmi, které pomohou navodit odlehčenou atmosféru ve třídě a motivují žáky k aktivitě. Při práci s písněmi si žáci mohou zdokonalovat nejen všechny své komunikativní dovednosti, ale mohou si procvičovat výslovnost a gramatiku, a obohacují si slovní zásobu německého jazyka. Jednotlivé aktivity jsou detailně popsány včetně konkrétních příkladů. Práce také obsahuje katalog všech použitých písní s jejich audio nahrávkou. My diploma project deals with the use of pop-songs in German lessons. The aim of my work is to show the reader different pop-songs{\crq} activities that help to create the pleasant atmosphere in the class and motivate pupils to be active. While working with pop-songs, learners improve all their language skills, practice pronunciation and enrich vocabulary of German language. The particular activities including certain examples are described in detail. My diploma project also includes a list of all used songs and their audio recording.
