2024 - German Drei Jahrzehnte sind seit der Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands vergangen, und trotzdem sind die Unterschiede zwischen den Bewohnern des ehemaligen Ost- und Westdeutschlands auch heute noch offensichtlich. Ziel der Bachelorarbeit ist es, die Ursachen für die sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Unterschiede zwischen diesen beiden deutschen Ländern mithilfe literarischer Werke zu ergründen. Angesichts der Komplexität des Themas konzentriert sich die Arbeit nur auf die 1970er Jahre. Die erste Hälfte umfasst allgemeines Wissen über beide Länder und ihre sozial wirtschaftliche Situation. Der zweite Teil befasst sich mit der literarischen Entwicklung und den wichtigen literarischen Strömungen dieser Zeit. Der praktische Teil analysiert zwei literarische Werke, nämlich die Novelle Lenz von Peter Schneider und Die neuen Leiden des jungen W. von Ulrich Plenzdorf, die mit den zeitgenössischen Entwicklungen in Deutschland konfrontiert werden. Zur Erarbeitung der These wurden vor allem Informationen aus Internetquellen und wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften verwendet, die sich mit bedeutenden deutschen Ereignissen der letzten Jahrzehnte des 20. Jahrhunderts beschäftigen. Three decades have passed since the reunification of Germany, and still there are differences between the inhabitants of the former East and West Germany. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to attempt to find the cause of the social and economic differences between these German countries through literary works. Considering that this is a very complex topic, the thesis focuses only on the 1970s. The theoretical part contains 2 various chapters. The first half includes general knowledge about both countries and their socio-economic situation. The second part deals with the literary development and the important literary currents of the time. The practical part analyses two literary works, namely the novella Lenz by Peter Schneider and The New Sufferings of Young W. by Ulrich Plenzdorf, which are confronted with contemporary developments in Germany. The work was mainly based on information obtained from internet sources and professional magazines dealing with significant German events of the last decades of the 20th century. 2024 - German Že byl národní socialismus jedinečnou směsí nejstaršího a nejmodernějšího, je již všeobecně známo. Tuto syntézu lze nalézt i v oblasti propagandy. Nejen v osobě a práci ministra pro "lidovou osvětu a propagandu" (RMVP), kde již název vnáší do pojmu rozpor, ale také v textech, které měly zasáhnout širší veřejnost a zdánlivě "nepolitické" obory činnosti, jako jsou domácí práce, film, medicína nebo zbrojní technologie. Tato práce ukazuje a analyzuje tuto "hlubokou dimenzi" nacionálně socialistické propagandy s jejími sublimními, ale také překvapivými ideologickými podtexty. Zkoumaný materiál sahá od stranického programu až po pojmenování ručních zbraní. V úvodní teoretické části je z výzkumného hlediska představena analýza tohoto nacistického jazyka vycházející z tezí Klemperera až po nejnovější literaturu o nacistech. It has often been noted that National Socialism was a strange mixture of the oldest and the most modern. This synthesis can also be found in the area of propaganda. Not only in the person and work of the Minister for "Popular Enlightenment and Propaganda", where the title already brings the contradiction into the term, but also in texts that were intended to have an impact on the broader public and seemingly "non-political" fields of activity such as household work and film, medicine or weapons technology. This work shows and analyses this "deep dimension" of National Socialist propaganda with its sublime but also surprising ideological subtexts. The material examined ranges from the party program to the title of a rifle. In an introductory theoretical part, the analysis of this language from Klemperer's early approach to the latest literature on the Nazis is presented from a research perspective. 2024 - German Annotation Verschwundene Dörfer in der Umgebung von Gojau (Kájov) als Thema für den interdisziplinären Projektunterricht Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Geschichte des Zusammenlebens der tschechischen und deutschsprachigen Bevölkerung im südböhmischen Raum, konkret in den Dörfern südlich von Krumau (Český Krumlov) in der Umgebung von Gojau und von Poletitz (Boletice). Der theoretische Teil befasst sich mit einer näheren Betrachtung dieses Gebietes in Bezug auf seine historische Form, Bedeutung, Ereignisse und Zusammenhänge im Kontext der Zeit sowie seine heutige Form und Bedeutung. In diesem Teil werden auch Informationen zu den einzelnen verschwundenen Dörfern gegeben, begleitet von einer Fotodokumentation aus der Vergangenheit und der Gegenwart. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, Informationen für den Inhalt des Projekts für Schüler der 9. Klasse zu sammeln, aus denen die Lehrer bei der Durchführung schöpfen können, einen organisatorischen Vorschlag für das Projekt zu erstellen, einen Zeitplan, Kalkulation und auch didaktische Materialien oder andere Materialien für Lehrer zu sammeln. Abstract Disappeared villages in the surroundings of Gojau (Kájov) as a topic for interdisciplinary project lessons This bachelor's thesis focuses on the history of the coexistence of Czech and Germanspeaking populations in the South Bohemian region, in particular with the villages in the area south of Český Krumlov, especially around Kájov and in the Boletice area. The theoretical part deals with a closer look at this area in terms of its significance, its history and its history in relation to the situation at that time, as well as its present and current significance. This section also provides information about the individual villages that have disappeared, as well as the photographic documentation from the time of their existence and also from the present day. The aim of the work is to collect information about the content of the interdisciplinary project for 9th class students, which teachers can use as a basis for its implementation, to prepare an organisational proposal for the project, especially the timetable, calculation and also to collect didactic materials or other materials for teachers. 2024 - German Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem německé kinematografie v posledních dvaceti pěti letech a zkoumá dopady mj. koronavirové krize v letech 2020-2021, resp. 2022. Pozornost se bude také upínat na téma diverzity a inkluze, kde bude zkoumat podíl žen či zastoupení LGBTQ+ komunity v německé filmové scéně. Vedle dalších filmových témat se bude zabývat jak strukturou celé filmové scény od masové produkce až po alternativní díla a jejich prosazováním v kinech, tak i základními ekonomickými aspekty jako je výše státní podpory, návštěvnost. Věnuje se rovněž změnám ve filmových trendech jako je streamování a analyzuje vliv streamovacích služeb na německou kinematografii. Tato data jsou důležitá pro vyhodnocení propadu produkce a projekce, i výše státní krizové podpory a její účinnosti. This bachelor thesis deals with the development of German cinematography over the last twenty-five years and examines the impact of the coronavirus crisis in 2020-2021, alternatively 2022. The focus will also be on the topic of diversity and inclusion, with the participation of women and the representation of the LGBTQ+ community in the German film scene being the subject of examination. Alongside other film topics, this bachelor thesis will focus on the structure of the entire film scene, from mass production to alternative works and their promotion in cinemas, as well as basic economic aspects such as the level of state support and cinema attendance. This bachelor thesis also discusses the changes in film trends, such as streaming, and analyses the impact of streaming services on the German cinema. This data is important for assessing the decline in production and screening, as well as the amount of state financial support and its effectiveness. 2024 - German This thesis explores the topic of German Foreign Cultural Work of the Goethe-Institut and aims to answer the question of whether, in accordance with the latest Foreign Office conception from 2011 and the general trend of "normalization" in German foreign policy, it tends to focus more on pursuing national interest and unilateral presentation, rather than on equal dialogue. The study first investigates this question based on available secondary and primary sources on foreign cultural policy and subsequently describes the latest trends in the communication of the Goethe-Institut. The second part of the thesis is a case study, illustrating the use of three forms of communication (presentation, dialogue, and interconnection) in the work of the Goethe-Institut, exemplified by the implementation of the Themenraum concept (theme space) that has been in use since 2016 in five Goethe- Instituts (in Prague, Warsaw, Bratislava, New York, and Riga). Interviews with employees of these institutes, their websites, and internal materials on Themenraum were analysed. These examples demonstrates that in the work of the Goethe-Institut, all these three communication formats are typically found to complement each other and form a functional whole. Tato diplomová práce se věnuje tématu německé zahraniční kulturní práce Goethe-Institutu a klade si otázku, zda se v souladu s poslední koncepcí ministerstva zahraničí z roku 2011 a obecným trendem "normalizace" v německé zahraniční politice více soustředí na sledování národního zájmu a jednostrannou prezentaci, spíše než na rovnocenný dialog. Práce tuto otázku zkoumá nejprve na základě dostupných sekundárních i primárních zdrojů k zahraniční kulturní politice a následně popisuje nejnovější trendy v komunikaci Goethe- Institutu. Druhá část práce je případovou studií, kde je použití tří forem komunikace (prezentace, dialog a propojení) v práci Goethe-Institutu ilustrováno na příkladu implementace konceptu Themenraum (tematický prostor) od roku 2016 do současnosti v pěti Goethe-Institutech (v Praze, Varšavě, Bratislavě, New Yorku a Rize). Analyzovány byly rozhovory se zaměstnanci těchto institutů, jejich webové stránky i některé interní materiály k Themenraum. Na tomto příkladě je ukázáno, že v práci Goethe-Institutu můžeme najít zpravidla všechny tyto formáty, které se navzájem doplňují a společně tvoří funkční celek. Germanismy v románu Konec punku v Helsinkách od Jaroslava Rudiše

2024 - German This thesis analyzes the Germanisms in Rudiš's novel "The End of Punk in Helsinki". The aim is to describe the individual Germanisms in terms of their function in the text, their comprehensibility, and the subjective perception of their use in contemporary Czech. Subsequently, some Germanisms were also analyzed in the Czech language corpus InterCorp and SYN, whereby their frequency and the stylistic markers found in the dictionaries were verified. The analysis and the corpus research showed in most cases the correspondence of the stylistic markers found in the dictionaries with those in the novel or the corpus, as well as stylistic effects that, among others, contribute to a closer characterization of the speaker from the regional or social point of view. Tato práce se zabývá analýzou germanismů nalezených v Rudišově románu "Konec punku v Helsinkách". Cílem bylo popsat jednotlivé germanismy z hlediska jejich funkce v textu, srozumitelnosti a subjektivnímu vnímání užití v dnešní češtině. Následně byly vybrané germanismy zkoumány i v českém jazykovém korpusu InterCorp, příp. SYN, kde byla ověřena jejich četnost výskytu a přiřazení stylových příznaků nalezených ve slovnících. Analýzou i rešerší v korpusu byla ve většině případů doložena shoda stylových příznaků uvedených ve slovnících s těmi v románu či korpusu, stejně tak jako stylistických efektů, které mj. dopomáhají k bližší charakteristice mluvčího z hlediska regionálního či sociálního. 2024 - German Crisis is a key moment not only within a literary work, but also in the development of society and the individual. Literature not only draws on societal crises - such as the period just before the outbreak of the First World War - thematically, but also as a kind of kaleidoscope of human stories and fates in which other crises, seemingly minor but no less important for literature, take place. The aim of this thesis is to analyse and interpret in a literary-historical context the depiction of personal (among others religious, personal-character) crisis and social (political and social) crisis in the novel Kaiserwetter (1931) by Karl Jakob Hirsch. It is the intertwining of "small" personal crises with the crisis of the community as a whole that is one of the most important motifs of this novel and the basis for one of its possible relevant interpretations. The paper will first briefly introduce the author and attempt to characterize his work. In the theoretical part I will then focus on the applicable definitions of the concept of crisis (based mainly on the notion of the German historian R. Koselleck) that can be applied in the interpretation of the literary work. Subsequently, the thesis will deal with partial aspects of the thematization of the crisis (on the example of three characters in the... Krize je klíčový moment nejen v rámci literárního díla, ale i ve vývoji společnosti a jednotlivce. Literatura z celospolečenských krizí - jako je např. období těsně před vypuknutím první světové války - čerpá nejen tematicky, nýbrž je také jakýmsi kaleidoskopem lidských příběhů a osudů, v nichž probíhají další krize, zdánlivě menší, avšak pro literaturu neméně důležité. Cílem této práce je analyzovat a v literárněhistorickém kontextu interpretovat znázornění osobní (mj. náboženské, osobnostně-charakterové) krize a společenské (politické i sociální) krize v románu Císařské počasí (orig. Kaiserwetter 1931, česky 1976) Karla Jakoba Hirsche. Právě prolínání "malých" osobních krizí s krizí společenství jako celku je jedním z nejdůležitějších motivů tohoto románu a základem pro jednu z jeho možných relevantních interpretací. Práce nejprve stručně představí osobu autora a pokusí se charakterizovat jeho dílo. V teoretické části se poté zaměřím na použitelné definice pojmu krize (vycházející zejména z pojetí německého historika R. Kosellecka), které lze uplatnit v interpretaci literárního díla. Následně se práce bude zabývat dílčími aspekty tematizace krize (na příkladu tří postav románu) v ději ústícím do počátku první světové války. Práce přitom zohlední také způsob znázornění a jazyk Hirschova románu.
