Coexistence Of Lora And Wi-Fi In The 24 Ghz Band
Kaučiarik, Filip
English
This paper deals with the study of coexistence between LoRa and Wi-Fi systems in the non-licensed 2.4 GHz RF bands. An appropriate laboratory measurement workplace is realized to measure the performance of LoRa on physical (PHY) layer level in terms of packet error ratio (PER). The functionality of the proposed concept is verified by a set of experimental measurements, where different coexistence scenarios are considered.

Online Database Of Bacterial Sequence And Melt Types
Františová, Zuzana
English
This paper presents an online database, which was created in cooperation with the Center of Molecular Biology and Gene Therapy, University Hospital Brno. This database contains a unique conversion key allowing comparison of sequencing and PCR (polymerase chain reaction data, which brings quick and reliable pathogenic bacteria typing at a fraction of the cost of sequencing techniques. The database is managed by a program that enables updates, editing, backups, data export and many other functions that can significantly speed up further data processing.

Automated Human Recognition From Image Data
Dobiš, Lukáš
English
This paper describes an approach for automated human recognition by using convolutional neural networks (CNN) to perform facial analysis of persons face from image data. The predicted biometric indicators are following: age, gender, facial landmarks and facial expression. Network architectures with pretrained weights for each task are described. Script of interconnected CNN is explained and its results support further proposed expansion plans for live video inference.

Characterization Of Pvdf Nanofibers Created By The Electrospinning Method
Pisarenko, Tatiana
English
The work investigates structure and properties of composite fibers created by the electrospinning method for piezoapplications. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) was used as a precursor. As an electrospining parameter, the collector speed of 300 and 2000 rpm was selected, which significantly affects the properties of nanofibers. The structure of fibers was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) using focused ion beam (FIB). Morphology and piezoelectric domains was observed using piezoresponse force microscopy (PFM). Phase composition was identified using Raman spectroscopy and by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Found results are essential for the design and construction of piezoelectric based structures.

Comparison Of Promising Tdoa Geolocation Algorithms For Low-Power Wide-Area Network
Pospíšil, Jan
English
The paper deals with the comparison of promising end-device geolocation algorithms in a multipath propagation environment using the Time-Difference of Arrival (TDoA) information, that is incoming signal propagation delays from the end-device to the gateways. Comparison by simulation with added noise to outline the real conditions for a variety of selected computational algorithms. Namely comparison of the sensitivity of the algorithms to noise, the influence of the gateway count on the positioning error and calculation time requirements have been done.

Graph Convolutional Neural Networks For Sentiment Analysis
Myska, Vojtech
English
Commonly used approaches based on deep learning for sentiment analysis task operating over data in Euclidean space. In contrast with them, this paper presents, a novel approach for sentiment analysis task based on a graph convolutional neural networks (GCNs) operating with data in Non-Euclidean space. Text data processed by the approach have to be converted to a graph structure. Our GCNs models have been trained on 25 000 data samples and evaluated 5 000 samples. The Yelp data set has been used. The experiment is focused on polarity sentiment analysis task. Nevertheless, a relatively small training data set has been used, our best model achieved 86.12% accuracy.

Overview Of Approaches To Multisensor Fusion As Used In Adas And Av
Zemčík, Tomáš
English
This paper briefly summarises the state-of-the-art in the field of approaches to heterogeneous multisensory fusion as in use in autonomous vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). It first describes the basic perception principles, goes over the used sensors and their properties. Design Example Of Radial Active Magnetic Bearing For High-Speed Machine
Rura, David
English
Development of high-speed electrical machines reopened a door for further development in a field of magnetic bearing. Conventional ball bearings reached their limits and can’t bear such as high-speed in many modern turbo applications. Another way is to use air bearing which perform lower load capacity and stiffness. Hence, magnetic bearing seemed to be an advantageous solution in many application. The main cons of active magnetic bearing (AMB) are its space requirement and in case of active bearing also power amplifier and controller. In this paper the design of radial AMB for a motor 12 kW, 45000 rpm is calculated. Typically, analytical solution excludes side phenomenons and thus analytically modelled radial AMB is optimized numerically. This paper provides a full design of AMB including design geometry and performance properties.
