Title: The Affinity of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and Chronic Finger Pain in Climbers Objectives: To determine possible affinity between thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) and chronic finger pain in climbers by comparing the occurrence of TOS among climbers with chronic finger pain, climbers without chronic finger pain, and non-climbers. Methods: Sixty-six participants of both genders aged 18-40 were included in the study. Based on the initial questionnaire, they were divided into three groups: climbers with chronic finger pain, climbers without chronic finger pain, and non-climbers. The homogeneity of the groups based on quantitative characteristics was assessed using an ANOVA test. All study participants were examined using the same examination protocol for the presence of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS). The examination protocol consisted of three questions about clinical symptoms, five examination tests, and palpation of the scalene and pectoralis minor muscles. A positive finding of TOS was defined as a positive result of 60 % or more of the examination protocol tests. The frequency of positive TOS findings was subsequently compared between the group of climbers with chronic finger pain, climbers without chronic finger pain, and non- climbers. Metody: Do studie bylo zařazeno 66 probandů obou pohlaví ve věku 18-40 let. Dle vstupního dotazníku byli rozděleni do tří skupin: skupiny lezců s chronickou bolestí prstu, skupiny lezců bez chronické bolesti prstu a skupiny nelezců. Homogenita skupin na základě kvantitativních znaků byla posouzena pomocí ANOVA testu. Všichni účastníci studie byli vyšetřeni dle stejného vyšetřovacího protokolu na přítomnost TOS. Vyšetřovací protokol se skládal ze tří otázek na klinické příznaky, pěti vyšetřovacích testů a palpace mm. scaleni a mm. pectorales minor. Za pozitivní nález TOS byl stanoven pozitivní výsledek 60 % a více testů vyšetřovacího protokolu. Četnost pozitivních nálezů TOS byla následně porovnávána mezi skupinou lezců s chronickými bolestmi prstu, lezců bez chronické bolesti prstů a nelezců. This diploma thesis discusses the influence of the social climate of the teaching staff on the work performance and motivation of teachers in kindergartens. The theoretical part of the work is dedicated to the definition of teaching staff, the work duties they must perform and also their motivation. The role of kindergarten principals and their influence on the climate of the teaching staff and the motivation of pedagogues is also described. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the differences between the school climate, the classroom climate and the social climate of the teaching staff. The empirical part of the work presents the research results. The study focused on investigating the social climate of teaching staff in kindergartens and its influence on teacher's motivation and satisfaction. In this approach a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used to identify factors influencing the climate of the teaching staff and their influence on the work and motivation of teachers. On the basis of the obtained information the work presents some options that could help to build a positive climate for the teaching staff in kindergartens. Tato diplomová práce pojednává o vlivu sociálního klimatu pedagogického sboru na pracovní výkon a motivaci učitelů v mateřských školách. Teoretická část práce se věnuje definici pedagogických pracovníků, pracovními povinnostmi, které musejí zastávat a také jejich motivaci. Popsána je také role role ředitelů mateřských škol a jejich vliv na klima pedagogického sboru a motivaci pedagogů. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje rozdíly mezi školním klimatem, klimatem školní třídy a sociálním klimatem pedagogického sboru. Empirická část práce prezentuje výsledky výzkumu. Studie se zamĕřila na zkoumání sociálního klimatu pedagogických pracovníků v mateřských školách a jeho vlivu na motivaci a spokojenost učitelů. The present thesis deals with the influence of body composition on physical fitness. The thesis deals with the issue of increasing prevalence of obesity in children and adolescents. The aim of the thesis is to assess physical fitness in older school-aged children using a validated test battery and to determine the association of physical fitness in these children with their body composition. A total of 52 pupils aged 12-14 years were tested, of whom 34 were girls and 18 were boys. We used a modified Assessing levels of physical activity (ALPHA) test battery to determine the physical fitness of the children and adolescents. We also used a questionnaire survey to determine anthropometric parameters relevant to body composition. For the actual measurement, we used three skinfold measurements, dynamometry, Unifittest (6-60). F-test was used to calculate statistical significance of differences and Cohen's d was calculated to calculate substantive significance. The results showed that girls had higher amount of subcutaneous fat than boys. There was no difference in body weight and body height between girls and boys. Compared to boys, girls had a lower mean time spent in physical activity outside physical education. In conclusion, body composition has a great influence on physical fitness in older... PYedkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem tlesného slo ení na tlesnou zdatnost. Práce se zabývá problematikou zvyaující se prevalence obezity u dtí a dospívajících. Cílem práce je zhodnotit tlesnou zdatnost u dtí staraího akolního vku pomocí validizované testové baterie a zjistit souvislosti tlesné zdatnosti tchto dtí s jejich tlesným slo ením. Celkem bylo testováno 52 áko ve vku 12-14 let, z toho bylo 34 dívek a 18 chlapco. Pro zjiatní tlesné zdatnosti dtí a dospívajících jsme vyu ili modifikovanou testovou baterii Assessing levels of physical activity (ALPHA). 1 Abstract The continuous advance in industry, general intensification of processes and urbanisation inevitably leads to production of new substances each year, collectively referred to as emerging pollutants (EPs). As the mass production of EPs increases, the demand for wastewater treatment plants also dramatically increases. The inadequacy of conventional tretament plants in removing EPs, such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides, personal care products, and others, results in the presence of these substances in surface and groundwater at significant concentrations. The often negative or unclear impact of EPs to the environment furhter emphasizes the urgency of this issue and requires a corresponding response. Photocatalysis belongs to the co-called advanced oxidation processes, key techniques for ensuring effective wastewater treatment. This thesis is focused on the photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline, trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole, three common antibiotics frequently found in wastewater. Graphitic carbon nitride, a promising material in research of fotocatalytic degradation, was used as a photocatalyst and was activated by visible light emitted from a mercury xenon lamp. Rhodamine B was... 1 Abstrakt Neustálý pokrok v průmyslu, obecné zintenzivňování procesů a urbanizace nevyhnutelně vede každým rokem k produkci nových látek, souhrnně označovaných jako tzv. emerging pollutants (EPs). S narůstající masovou produkcí EPs se rovněž dramaticky zvyšují nároky na čisticí technologie v čistírnách odpadních vod. Nedostatečnost běžných čistíren v odstraňování EPs, jako jsou farmaceutika, pesticidy či produkty osobní péče, má za následek přítomnost těchto látek v povrchových a podzemních vodách v nezanedbatelných koncentracích. Společně s negativním či nejasným dopadem EPs na životní prostředí je tak umocněna naléhavost tohoto problému a vyžaduje odpovídající reakci. Fotokatalýza patří mezi tzv. pokročilé oxidační procesy, klíčové techniky pro zajištění účinného čištění odpadních vod. In my diploma thesis, I am looking for a way to awaken, maintain and deepen people's relationship with technical monuments in the cultural landscape, thereby increasing their chance of preserving them for future generations as evidence of the history of human ingenuity. I deal with the possibilities of connecting interpretation and education, or guides and teachers, at technical monuments with help of a virtual environment which is close to today's young generation. The goal of my work is to create such an interactive educational program/game focusing on technical monuments which will make the participants, through an application on a mobile phone or tablet, physically visit a technical monument, get to know it in its authentic environment and thus create a personal relationship with it. At the same time, in the role of the creator of this type of educational program, I also examine the environment, the conditions for the implementation of the plan, as well as the possibility of sharing game experiences, partial and overall results, including their own research, with other users. I am looking for a way to make heritage education "alive", developing and sustainable. Ve své diplomové práci hledám cestu, jak probudit, udržet a prohlubovat vztah lidí k technickým památkám v kulturní krajině, a tím zvýšit jejich šanci na uchování pro budoucí generace jako doklad o historii lidského umu. Zabývám se možnostmi propojení interpretace a edukace, resp. průvodce a učitele, na technických památkách za pomoci virtuálního prostředí, které je dnešní mladé generaci blízké. Cílem mé práce je vytvoření takového interaktivního edukačního programu/hry se zaměřením na technické památky, který přiměje účastníky prostřednictvím aplikace v mobilního telefonu nebo tabletu fyzicky technickou památku navštívit, poznávat ji v jejím autentickém prostředí a vytvořit si tak k ní osobní vztah. Zároveň také zkoumám v roli tvůrce tohoto typu edukačního programu prostředí, podmínky k realizaci záměru a také možnosti sdílení herních zážitků, dílčích a celkových výsledků, včetně vlastního bádání, s ostatními uživateli. Analýza stavby nožní klenby u závodnic sportovního a fitness aerobiku na odlišné závodní úrovni

This thesis focuses on the foot arch condition in female sports and fitness aerobics competitors at different competition levels. Our aim is to analyze the condition of the longitudinal plantar arch based on plantographic measurements in a group of female athletes differing in performance and competition category. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part deals with the description of sports and fitness aerobics by its definition and rules, then it describes the anatomy of the leg, the deformities of the plantar arch and last but not least the methods of plantogram evaluation. The practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the foot arch structure in selected female athletes at different performance levels. Specifically, in female athletes of the first performance class, where the number of probands measured totalled 44, and in female athletes of the second performance class, where 46 probands were measured. Subsequently, the total population (N=90) was compared to the general sporting population. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na stav nožní klenby u závodnic sportovního a fitness aerobiku na odlišné závodní úrovni. Naším cílem je analyzovat stav podélné nožní klenby na základě plantografického měření u skupiny závodnic odlišných ve výkonnosti a závodní kategorii. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. V teoretické části se zaobírá popisem sportovního a fitness aerobiku jeho definicí a pravidly, dále pak popisuje anatomii nohy, deformity nožní klenby a v neposlední řadě metody vyhodnocení plantogramu. V praktické části se práce zabývá analýzou stavby nožní klenby u vybraných závodnic na odlišné výkonnostní úrovni. Konkrétně u závodnic první výkonnostní třídy, kde počet měřených závodnic sčítal 44 probandů a u závodnic druhé výkonnostní třídy, kde bylo měřeno 46 probandů. Následně byl celkový souboru (N=90) srovnán s běžnou sportující populací. Součástí praktické části jsou doplňkové otázky pro závodníky v podobě dotazníku, týkající se doby působení ve sportovním aerobiku a fitness, výkonnostní třídy, četností tréninkových bloků, speciálních cviků na nožní klenbu a využití ortopedických vložek. The aim of the master's thesis is a production and a realization of an educational programme in a cooperation with the National theatre for students at high schools. The theoretical part of the thesis is connected on published books of methodology of education of culture heritage and alternative ways of an interpretation. Thanks to these, the thesis is looking for a possibility of a public space for an education. In the second part is the thesis focused on a historical progression of the Czech professional theatre in Prague during years 1743-1892. Based this knowledge is realizing the educational programme in a public space of the Old Town and the New Town in the vicinity of the historical building of The National Theatre. The educational programme is using methodology descripted in the theoretical part which means a geocaching, an audio guide and a drama education. The practical part of the thesis is finished by reflection of the programme. This diploma thesis deals with summarization of information about Emilia Fryšová, a woman whose most important life roles included being an educator, ethnographer, and publicist. The first step in my processing for this work has been to research of given topic, then I have categorized discovered information based on its contents, I compared the information, and lastly analysed it. During the writing process, I have been verifying new leads and discovering today's long-forgotten facts. As I have already mentioned, besides teaching Fryšová had a close relation to ethnography, which primarily included cognizance of the South Bohemian Blata area, which she came to like, when she started to live and work in Soběslav. For a better context of this topic, I have decided to dedicate the first two chapters to themes that are closely connected to Fryšová, such as the life of teachers and the beginnings of ethnography in Bohemia. The main chapters of my thesis focus on detailed information about Fryšová. The third chapter is oriented towards her life as a whole. In the fourth chapter, I more deeply examine her association work and the activities as well as places and people linked to it. The fifth chapter contains the description of the (mainly) ethnographic collection, of which she was a proud owner, and it... Tato diplomová práce se zabývá shrnutím informací o Emilii Fryšové, ženě, mezi jejíž nejdůležitější životní role bych zařadila roli učitelky, etnografky a publicistky. Pro zpracování práce jsem nejprve provedla rešerši k danému tématu, následně jsem zjištěné informace roztřídila podle jejich obsahu, poté jsem je mezi sebou komparovala, a nakonec jsem je analyzovala. Během psaní jsem prověřovala případné nové stopy a odhalovala jsem tak dnes už dávno zapomenuté skutečnosti. Jak je již výše uvedeno, kromě učitelství byla Fryšové blízká hlavně etnografie, v jejímž rámci se zaměřovala především na poznání oblasti jihočeských Blat, které si oblíbila, když začala žít a pracovat v Soběslavi. Pro pochopení kontextu jsem se v prvních dvou kapitolách nejprve rozhodla přiblížit témata, která s Fryšovou v mnohém souvisí, a to život učitelek a počátky etnografie v českých zemích. Hlavní kapitoly práce jsou zaměřené na detailní poznání Fryšové. V třetí kapitole se věnuji jejímu životu jako celku. Optimalizace stanovení 5-fluorouracilu pomocí vysokoúčinné kapalinové chromatografie

This thesis is dedicated to the development of a method for the determination of 5-fluorouracil by high-performance liquid chromatography, which could be used for determination of its encapsulation efficiency by liposomes. First, separation of 1 mM standard of 5-fluorouracil was tested on several types of columns. Among tested columns belonged a C18 column, a C18 column with positive surface modification, a phenyl-hexyl column and several fluoride columns together with two HILIC columns. A mixture containing 10 mM CH3COONH4, pH = 4,5 and MeOH in the ratio of 98/2 was initially used as the mobile phase. The results showed, that 5-fluorouracil elutes on all columns too close to the dead time, where different impurities often elute. To avoid possible distortion of 5-fluorouracil signal by impurities potentially occurring in the real sample, several adjustments of chromatographic conditions were tested. The most effective solution was addition of 5 mM ion-pairing agent (namely tetrabutylammonium chloride hydrate) to the mobile phase, together with adjusting pH to 8,0 to support the ionization of the analyte. Mezi testované kolony patřila C18 kolona, C18 kolona s pozitivní úpravou povrchu, fenyl-hexylová kolona a několik fluorových kolon společně se dvěma HILIC kolonami. Jako mobilní fáze byla ze začátku používána směs skládající se z 10 mM CH3COONH4, pH = 4,5 a MeOH v poměru 98/2. Výsledky ukázaly, že 5-fluorouracil eluuje na všech kolonách v přílišné blízkosti mrtvého času, kde často eluují také různé nečistoty. Aby se předešlo možnému zkreslení signálu 5-fluorouracilu ze strany nečistot potencionálně se vyskytujících v reálném vzorku, bylo vyzkoušeno několik různých obměn chromatografických podmínek. Jako definitivně nejúčinnější se ukázalo přidání 5 mM iontově párového činidla (jmenovitě hydrátu chloridu tetrabutylamonného) do mobilní fáze společně se zvýšením pH na 8,0 pro podporu ionizace analytu. V kombinaci s takto upravenou mobilní fází dosahovala nejlepších výsledků fenyl-hexylová kolona s retenčním časem 4,36 minut, která byla vybrána i pro finální stanovení 5-fluorouracilu v reálných vzorcích liposomů....

Průpravná cvičení na odstranění nejčastějších chyb při překážkových bězích

Diploma thesis is focused on the mistakes of hurdle running. Technical performance is very often ignored to the exclusion of training intensity and volume. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the technical faults and then describe preliminary exercises that will improve the technical performance of the different parts of hurdle running. In the theoretical part, the readers are introduced to information related to hurdle running (start, technique, rhythmic unit, etc.). In addition, the theoretical part introduces several aspects that lead to improving hurdling performance, such as strength, speed, and other skills. Lastly, the connection between psychology and sport is mentioned, where learning and temperament are mainly discussed. A very peripheral view of the philosophy of sport is mentioned in the thesis. Subsequently, we have taken pictures and analyzed them and named the most common mistakes in hurdling technique. We then applied preliminary exercises for 10 weeks and then took a second picture record. After the intervention program, we verified the athlete's progress. In most cases, the program worked as expected, only in one case the expected result did not occur. The last subchapter deals with the alternative use of obstacle courses in school physical education classes. The thesis then... Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na chybné části překážkového běhu. Technické provedení je velmi často upozaděno na úkor intenzity a objemu tréninku. Cílem práce je analyzovat chyby v technickém provedení a následně popsat průpravná cvičení, která povedou ke zdokonalení technického provedení jednotlivých částí překážkového běhu. V teoretické části se čtenář seznamuje s informacemi souvisejícími s překážkovými běhy (start, technika, rytmická jednotka atd.). Dále je v teoretické části uváděno několik prvků, které vedou ke zlepšení výkonnosti na překážkách, jako jsou silové, rychlostní a další schopnosti. V poslední řadě je zde zmíněna souvislost psychologie a sportu, kde je rozebíráno především učení a temperament. Velmi okrajově je v práci zmíněn pohled na filosofii sportu. Následně jsme pořídili obrázkový materiál, který jsme analyzovali a pojmenovali nejčastější chyby v technice překážek. Poté jsme aplikovali průpravná cvičení po dobu 10 týdnů a následně pořídili druhý obrázkový záznam. Po intervenčním programu jsme ověřili progres atleta. Ve většině případech zafungoval program dle očekávání, pouze v jednom se nedostavil očekávaný výsledek.
