Repozitář a webový portál GreyGuide

2014 - English V prosinci 2013 byl zahájen provoz repozitáře GreyGuide, spravovaného společností GreyNet. Repozitář slouží pro ukládání dokumentů zachycujících osvědčené postupy v oblasti shromažďování a uchovávání šedé literatury. V roce 2014 GreyNet pozměnil systém spravování svých informačních zdrojů v souladu s deklarací „Pisa Declaration on Policy Development for Grey Literature Resources” zveřejněnou 16. května 2014. V souladu s principy zdůrazněnými v deklaraci se stane i vybraná část webu GreyNetu součástí repozitáře GreyGuide, tím bude umožněno jednoduché procházení, vyhledávání a získávání dokumentů a informací In December 2013, the GreyGuide was launched and in early 2014 GreyNet welcomed far reaching developments in its resource management. These developments are in line with the “Pisa Declaration on Policy Development for Grey Literature Resources (May 16, 2014)”. In compliance with this 15-point roadmap, a selection of GreyNet’s web-based content will now migrate to the GreyGuide allowing for seamless browse, search, and retrieval across its collections. Zpřístupňování výzkumných dat, publikací a aktuálních informací o výzkumu v DANS

2014 - English DANS podporuje trvalý přístup k digitálním datům z nizozemského výzkumu. Výzkumní pracovníci mohou sami ukládat svá data prostřednictvím on-line archivačního systému EASY. Portál NARCIS umožňuje uživatelům zobrazovat výzkumná data v kontextu, např. data ve vztahu k elektronické publikaci z výzkumu a dalším informacím, které se daného výzkumu týkají. Oba systémy EASY i NARCIS obsahují šedou literaturu jako např. archeologické zprávy, dokumentace dat, disertační práce, konferenční příspěvky, patenty a technické zprávy univerzit a dalších výzkumných institucí. Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS) promotes sustained access to digital research data in the Netherlands. Researchers can deposit their data through the online archiving system EASY. Via the portal NARCIS the research data are shown in context, namely in relation with e-publications, and other research information. Both EASY and NARCIS contain grey literature like archaeological reports, data documentation, doctoral thesis, conference papers, patents, and technical documentation of universities and other research institutes. 2013 - English The poster presents survey about the state of enhanced publications in the Czech Republic. The goal of this survey was to find out situation of enhanced publications at research institutions in the Czech Republic. What research data arise? How are they stored and archived? To whom they made available? Are there the real enhanced publications, i.e. research publications linked directly to research data? 113 Czech research institutions were contacted with online questionnaire during 11th September to 7th October 2013. The poster will show the results from 65 Czech research institutions which filled in the questionnaire. 2013 - English Trvalý přístup bez poplatků k publikovaným výsledkům výzkumu společně s uvolněním pravidel pro (znovu)užití tohoto obsahu je to, jak Elsevier dnes chápe pojem otevřený přístup. K naplnění tohoto konceptu je více cest, a každá z nich může části výzkumné komunity vyhovovat. Příspěvek představí tyto způsoby, spadající do zelené i zlaté cesty otevřeného přístupu, tak, jak jsou dnes v Elsevier k dispozici. 2013 - English Znalost kontextu vědeckých výsledků pomáhá vylepšovat vyhledávání, sdílení a opětovné užití výsledků výzkumu uživatelům v knihovnách i vědeckých komunitách. OpenAIREplus usnadňuje přístup k výsledkům evropskému výzkumu. Jedním z cílů OpenAIRE plus je snaha propojovat výzkumné publikace s daty z výzkumu a informacemi o autorech a grantech. Příspěvek ukáže na demonstrativním příkladu z oblasti sociálních věd, jak je možné využívat přidružené publikace vědeckých výstupů (tzv. enhanced publications). Context of scholarly results improves discovery, sharing and re-use in library and research communities. OpenAIREplus facilitates access to European research. Its mission is to interlink research publications, data, contributors and grants. Introducing pilots for the Social & Life Sciences we show how disciplinary services can be used to enhanced publications in cross-disciplinary environments. The approach followed originate from text-mining and interlinks innovative repository services and initiatives like DataCite. Czech Scientists Database

2013 - English In our poster we will introduce the idea of creating a database of Czech scientists. The scientific community, professionals, government and the corporate sector need easy access to specific information on scientific personalities and related projects and grants. This demand comes from a member of the Czech Research, Development and Innovation Council with a goal to link research and commercial sectors in the area of human resources and support fast transmission of knowledge into practical fields. The system will facilitate contacts with scientists in specific fields. A scientist’s record should contain information about the institution, his/her current and prior institution affiliations, grants, in which he/she has participated, etc. At the same time, the database will serve institutions and companies to enter demands for specific projects. We prepared the project brief and carried out background research on 32 databases and systems for science and research in 14 European countries and the USA. We sorted the analyzed databases into groups and mapped the domestic and overseas situations, which we will present in detail. In the poster, we would also like to show that this kind of service can be provided by libraries. Libraries can adapt to their new role in research infrastructures. Now libraries can not only engage in collecting and accessing data but may also support the creation of data and their connection. Why was the National Technical Library (NTK) chosen? NTK has the ‘know-how’, professional staff and experience in the development and administration of databases, as well as experience with project management expertise to support knowledge databases. NTK has provided information services at a national level for many years and runs the national ISSN agency, the National Repository of Grey Literature, etc. Poster prezentuje ideový návrh databáze českých vědců, vytvořený na základě analýzy zahraničních databází vědy a výzkumu. Na tomto příkladu jsme demonstrovali novou roli knihoven, která se posouvá od poskytování informací k jejich tvorbě a publikování. Bringing it all together - a national CRIS with a national consortia model incorporating a national co-ordination of Open Access

2013 - English The presentation will focus on the setting up of the Norwegian CRIStin, Current Research Information System in Norway. Established in January 2011, it is owned by the Ministry of Research and Education in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. CRIStin's main objects are to provide value to society by facilitating cooperation between different research areas and to collect and compile information from the research institutions based on a principle of free access for all.CRIStin's aim is also to provide high quality data on scientific publication as a basis for the funding system for universities/colleges, research institutes/foundations and specialised health care, as well as functioning in a centralized capacity for negotiating and licensing electronic resources to a large number of consortia. Looking more closely at the consortia model, the benefits and challenges of setting up a national body will be discussed. The presentation will also discuss the synergy effect of combining a national CRIS with a national consortia model and incorporating national co-ordination of Open Access into one organisation.
