New catalysts based on doped manganese oxides for oxygen reduction in fuel cells were prepared. Oxygen reduction reaction in alkaline medium was studied and the catalytical activity of the new material is comparable to the activity of platinum. Byly připraveny nové katalyzátory pro redukci kyslíku v palivových článcích na bázi dopovaných oxidů manganu. Byla studována redukce kyslíku v alkalickém prostředí u těchto katalyzátorů, aktivita katalyzátoru je srovnatelná s katalytickou aktivitou platiny.
