In comparative synthesis was used alkaline hydroxydes, which determine phases of polytitanates, with surfactanes, which determine stability micellar nanostructures. Synthesis were executed in hydrothermal conditions realized by sonolysis in melt. Polytitanátové nanotrubičky jako elektronové a iontové měniče.

Hybride inorganic-organic membranes with high proton conductivity were prepared and studied. These membranes were used as solid electrolytes in hydrogen chemical sensor and in the model fuel cell. Byly připraveny a studovány hybridní anorganicko-organické membrány s vysokou protonovou vodivostí. Tyto membrány byly použity jako pevné elektrolyty v chemickém senzoru na vodík a v modelovém palivovém článku.

New catalysts based on doped manganese oxides for oxygen reduction in fuel cells were prepared. Oxygen reduction reaction in alkaline medium was studied and the catalytical activity of the new material is comparable to the activity of platinum. Byly připraveny nové katalyzátory pro redukci kyslíku v palivových článcích na bázi dopovaných oxidů manganu. Byla studována redukce kyslíku v alkalickém prostředí u těchto katalyzátorů, aktivita katalyzátoru je srovnatelná s katalytickou aktivitou platiny.
