Analýza spár mezi prefabrikovanými segmenty štíhlých mostních konstrukcí

U štíhlých mostních konstrukcí, jako jsou předpjaté pásy a visuté konstrukce, je mostovka často realizována prostřednictvím prefabrikovaných segmentů. Spáry mezi prefabrikovanými segmenty jsou však zdrojem diskontinuit a mohou být kritickým místem z hlediska životnosti těchto konstrukcí. Na základě toho byl navržen experiment, při kterém bylo detailněji vyšetřováno chování spár mezi prefabrikovanými segmenty v provozním stavu. Podrobnější zkoumání těchto konstrukčních detailů může zpřesnit přístupy k jejich modelování. Součástí práce je i studie vlivu zalomení střednice v softwaru Midas Civil. Slender bridge structures, such as stress ribbon bridges and suspension bridges, are frequently constructed by precast segments. However, the joints between the precast segments are a source of discontinuities and can be critical in terms of the service life of these structures. An experiment was therefore designed to investigate the behaviour of the joints between the precast segments in service state in more detail. A closer investigation of these structural details can refine approaches to numerical modelling of these structures. The thesis also includes a study of the effect of centreline kinking in Midas Civil software.

Tento příspěvek se zabývá analýzou odezvy membránové konstrukce na zatížení větrem s ohledem na fáze výstavby. Moderní nástroje umožňují analýzu odezvy konstrukce na postupné předpínání membrán. Tato úloha byla doposud při posouzení zjednodušována a důkladněji řešena až při návrhu postupu výstavby konstrukce. Tento přístup často vede k zbytečnému předimenzování subtilních prvků, jelikož není možné přesně odhadnout odezvu konstrukce v případě neočekávaného zatížení na rozestavěnou konstrukci. Cílem této práce je mimo jiné poukázat na význam výpočtu stavebních fází membránových konstrukcí z důvodu bezpečnosti výstavby. This paper deals with an analysis of a membrane structure loaded with wind pressure with respect to the construction stages. Modern tools allow analysis of structural response to the prestressing of membrane surfaces in the predefined sequence. So far, analytical models of the membrane structures have been simplified and the sequence of construction has been designed afterwards. This process may lead to the oversized elements, because it is not possible to estimate the structural response to the unexpected load on the structure under construction. Besides, the aim of this paper is to point out the meaning of the construction stages analysis of the membrane structures with respect to the safety on a building site.

Porovnání metod výpočtu potenciální evapotranspirace

Příspěvek představí využití několika různých metod pro stanovení potenciální evapotranspirace a jejich vliv na stanovení odtoku vody z povodí v podmínkách klimatické změny. Jedná se o metody založené na průměrných teplotách a případně extraterestrické radiaci. Konkrétně se jedná o metody Blaney-Criddle, Hargreaves, Turc a Thornthwaite. Metody byly testovány pomocí bilančního srážko-odtokového modelu kalibrovaného na části povodí řeky Dyje. Výsledky ukázaly, že nejvhodnějšími metodami pro toto území jsou Turc a Thornthwaite. Obě zmíněné metody však vykazovaly rozdílný vliv při analýze klimatické změny v období 2021–2060. This paper shows usage of four different methods for evaluation of potential evapotranspiration and their effect on the determination of runoff from a river basin under conditions of climate change. Methods are based on mean temperatures and eventually extra-terrestrial radiation. Specifically, the methods are Blaney-Criddle, Hargreaves, Turc and Thornthwaite. Methods were tested using water balance rainfall-runoff hydrological model used on a part of Thaya river catchment. Results shown that the best fitted methods for this study area are Turc and Thornthwaite, however they had a different effect on the analysis of climate change during the period from 2021 to 2060.

Jedním ze základních faktorů, které je nutno brát v potaz při navrhování betonů je i jeho trvanlivost. Prostředí, jenž je výrazně spjato s trvanlivostí zatvrdlého betonu, zahrnuje i působení záporných teplot spolu s možností kombinace s chemicky-rozmrazovacími látkami (soli). Aktuálně předkládaný článek se snaží objasnit a porovnat prakticky využívané provzdušňovací přísady do betonu, jenž mají za cíl zlepšení vlastností, zejména trvanlivosti ve zmíněném prostředí mrazu. One of the elementary factor that must be taken into account when designing concrete is its durability. The exposition, which is significantly connected with the durability of hardened concrete, is also the effect of negative temperatures together with the possibility of combination with salts. The present article tries to clarify and compare the currently used air entraining admixtures for concrete, which aim to improve the properties and especially the durability in the mentioned exposition.

Předložená práce se zabývá možností využití působení mikrovlnného záření na čerstvé směsi tvořené plnivem z odpadního tepelně izolačního expandovaného polystyrenu a pojivem z polymerní směsi pro urychlení doby potřebné pro zpevnění. Experimentálně byl vyzkoušen vliv doby působení mikrovlnného záření na hodnotu součinitele tepelné vodivosti vlastnosti směsí. The presented work deals with the possibility of using the action of microwave energy on fresh mixtures consisting of a filler from waste thermal insulation expanded polystyrene and a binder from a polymer mixture to accelerate the time required for the mixture to solidify. The influence of microwave exposure time on thermal engineering material properties of mixtures was experimentally tested.

Receiving Signals From A Sensor In The Digestive Tract

Wireless capsule endoscopy is a system for capturing images of human digestive tract for medical purposes. In this report, I present an antenna solution for a system operating in the 915 MHz ISM band. The capsule transmitter contains a conformal slot loop antenna placed on its outer wall. The planar monopole with a partial ground is used as a receiver. The system has been verified by numerical simulations with a phantom representing part of a human body. Low path loss of the radio link between antennas ensures sufficient signal strength at the receiver for any capsule orientation and location.

The paper deals with verification of mathematical model of thermoanemometric sensor of water flow according to King's equation. The model and measuring apparatus are briefly described. The paper deals mainly with measurement and its evaluation. The model is gradually modified depending on the measured data. The conclusion summarizes the current knowledge and measurement accuracy of a modified sensor model.
