Diploma thesis "Hannah Arendt's Understanding of Revolution in the Context of Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms: The problem of a Reluctant Approach to the Solution of the Social Question and Political Participation", discusses the contrasting process and outcome of two revolutions, American and French, in the work On Revolution by Hannah Arendt. Different revolutionary processes unfolded based on specific socio-economic conditions and influences, such as emotions or necessity. In addition to examining different aspects of the given revolutions, we will also look into Arendt's criticism, which was primarily earned by the French Revolution and the social issue associated with it. In Arendt's understanding, it was not appropriate within the framework of the revolutionary goals that a social issue was added to the acquisition of freedom and fundamental human rights. Even though good social state of people is crucial for the revolutionary success, because when people are socially low, along with it comes state of necessity and a strong emotional response of people, which in the revolutionary context, as well as in the context of political participation, she tends to criticize a lot. Diplomová práca "Revolúcia u Hannah Arendtovej v kontexte základných ľudských práv a slobôd: Problém reluktantného prístupu k riešeniu sociálnej otázky a politickej participácie", pojednáva o kontrastnom priebehu a výsledku dvoch revolúcií, Americkej a Francúzskej, v spise O Revolúcií od Hannah Arendtovej. Odlišné revolučné priebehy sa odvíjali na základe konkrétnych sociálno-ekonomických podmienok a vplyvov, ako boli emócie či nutnosť. Okrem skúmania rozdielnych aspektov daných revolúcií, budeme nazerať aj na Arendtovej kritiku, ktorú si primárne vyslúžila Francúzska revolúcia a s ňou spojená sociálna otázka. V Arendtovej ponímaní v rámci revolučných cieľov nebolo vhodné, aby k získaniu slobody a základných ľudských práv, bola pridaná aj sociálna otázka, ktorá je v rámci revolučného úspechu kľúčová, keďže spolu s ňou prichádzajú stavy nutnosti a silné emočné zápaly u ľudí, ktoré v tomto kontexte, ako aj v kontexte politickej participácie, tak veľmi kritizuje. Práca bude preto nazerať aj na Arendtovej vnímanie slobody, a s ňou spojenou zodpovednosťou v rámci politickej a verejnej sféry. This thesis is further developing and extending the theme of the my bachelor's thesis, which is focused on jewelry of the Great Moravian horizon in the territory of Bohemia and Slovakia. The first question deals with the distribution of individual types of "Great Moravian" jewelry, mainly by looking for distribution patterns of individual types. The second question deals with the age of the deceased and the number of jewels in the grave equipment. The last third question deals with the social role of luxury jewelry in early medieval society. The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the understanding of the mechanisms of the distribution of luxury objects throughout society in the early Middle Ages. Práca nadväzuje a rozširuje tému bakalárskej práce, ktorá je zameraná na šperky veľkomoravského horizontu na území Čiech a Slovenska. Prvá otázka sa venuje distribúcii jednotlivých typov "veľkomoravských" šperkov, predovšetkým hľadaním distribučných vzorcov jednotlivých typov. Druhou dôležitou oblasťou je analýza vzťahov medzi kvantitou a kvalitou výbavy a vekovými charakteristikami zosnulých. Posledná tretia otázka sa venuje sociálnej roli luxusných šperkov v rane stredovekej spoločnosti. Cieľom práce je snaha prispieť k pochopeniu mechanizmov distribúcie luxusných predmetov naprieč rane stredovekov spoločnosťou.

This diploma thesis titled "Crisis communication of anti-pandemic measures of the government of the Slovak Republic during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020/2021" employs a case study approach, analyzing the crisis communication of government institutions throughout the entirety of the pandemic, up until the official visit of Pope Francis to the Slovak Republic. The significance of institutional communication during times of crisis has been overlooked in professional literature, as the topic has not received adequate attention until the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. The crisis communication strategies employed by the Government of the Slovak Republic during the pandemic were characterized by chaos, lack of organization, and inconsistencies. Such issues negatively impacted the government's ability to effectively manage the crisis, highlighting the importance of effective institutional communication during such challenging times. The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of the communication of anti-pandemic measures employed by the Slovak government during the Covid-19 pandemic, utilizing the established model of ideal crisis communication as a framework for analysis. Diplomová práca Krízová komunikácia protipandemických opatrení vlády Slovenskej republiky v priebehu pandémie Covid-19 v roku 2020/2021 sa zaoberá prípadovou štúdiou krízovej komunikácie vládnej inštitúcie od začiatku koronavírusovej pandémie až do oficiálnej pastoračnej návštevy pápeža Františka v Slovenskej republike. Téme inštitucionálnej komunikácie počas krízy nie je venovaná náležitá pozornosť v odbornej literatúre a jej dôležitosť vyšla na povrch až v priebehu pandémie choroby Covid-19, počas ktorej chaotická, nesystematická, nekontinuálna a nekonzistentná komunikácia vlády SR negatívne ovplyvnila schopnosť krízu efektívne riešiť. Práca si kladie za cieľ posúdiť úspešnosť komunikácie protipandemických opatrení pomocou stanoveného modelu ideálnej krízovej komunikácie. Sústredí sa najmä na dopad a reflexiu v mediálnom prostredí a celospoločenskom dianí. - 1 - Abstract: Zawisza Czarny of Garbów was not only among elite warriors and tournament fighters but also among prominent and respected diplomats of his time. His versatile services were used by two significant Central European rulers - Vladislav II Jagiellon and Sigismund of Luxembourg. The aim of this thesis is to explain and characterize the activities of Zawisza of Garbów alongside Sigismund of Luxembourg, a topic that historiography has only addressed in a general manner. The starting point is the results of previous research.. The thesis focuses on the study of sources, especially narrative and documentary ones, as well as their analysis and comparison. Individual episodes from the life of Zawisza of Garbów associated with Sigismund of Luxembourg are placed within the broader context of the political developments in the countries of Central Europe, particularly the Kingdoms of Poland and Hungary, their mutual relations, and the political activities of King Sigismund of Luxembourg. Another aspect of the thesis is dedicated to contemporary social phenomena, such as the phenomenon of chivalry. Last but not least, the thesis attempts to answer the question of the mutual relationship between the ruler and his prominent knight and its reflection in later tradition. - 1 - Abstrakt Záviš Čierny z Garbowa patril nielen medzi elitných bojovníkov a turnajových zápasníkov, ale aj medzi popredných a vážených dobových diplomatov. Jeho všestranné služby využívali dvaja významní stredoeurópski panovníci - Vladislav II. Jagelo a Žigmund Luxembursky. Cieľom tejto práce je spracovať a charakterizovať pôsobenie Záviša z Gaborwa po boku Žigmunda Luxemburského, čomu sa historiografia doteraz venovala len rámcovo. Východiskom sú výsledky doterajšieho bádania. Práca sa sústreďuje na štúdium prameňov, najmä naračného a listinného charakteru, a ich analýze a komparácii. Jednotlivé epizódy zo života Záviša z Garbowa spojené so Žigmundom Luxemburským sú kladené do širšieho kontextu politického vývoja krajín strednej Európy, predovšetkým poľského a uhorského kráľovstva, ich vzájomných vzťahov a politickej činnosti kráľa Žigmunda Luxemburského. Ďalší z aspektov práce je zameraný na dobové spoločenské javy, akým je fenomén rytierstva. V neposlednom rade sa práca pokúša odpovedať na otázku vzájomných vzťahov medzi panovníkom a jeho popredným rytierom či jeho odraze v neskorších pamiatkach.

Omezení zpětné vazby při podání v badmintonu

Title: Visual constrains and feedback in the badminton serve Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to investigate the effect of short serve feedback constraints in badminton players. Methods: The data were experimentally collected. Twelve players underwent measurement of backhand serve. Every player performed four series of 20 serves. First and fourth were played with occlusion, second and third in normal conditions. Their results were recorded on a video camera and then evaluated by indirect analysis. Results: Overall, the players recorded an average distance of the shuttlecock impact point from the service line in the occluded conditions of 40,7±22,2 cm in the normal conditions of 25,2±17,9 cm. These results showed a significant effect of occlusion on short backhand serve t(9)=4,98, p<0,001 and with a strong effect of d=1,44. Out of 960 total backhand serves, 63 were ruled out. Players played 11 outs in occluded conditions, 52 in normal conditions. Keywords: visual perception, occluded vision, motor skills, proprioception, game performance Názov: Omezení zpětné vazby při podání v badmintonu Ciele: Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce bolo zistiť, aký vplyv má obmedzenie spätnej väzby na krátke podanie u hráčov bedmintonu. Metódy: Dáta boli získavané experimentálne. Dvanásť hráčov podstúpilo meranie krátkeho bekhendového podania. Každý hráč odohral štyri série po 20 podaní. Prvá a štvrtá séria prebiehala so zatemnením, druhá a tretia v normálnych podmienkach. Ich výsledky boli zaznamenané na videokameru a následne vyhodnotené na základe nepriameho pozorovania. Výsledky: Hráči celkovo zaznamenali priemernú vzdialenosť bodu dopadu košíka od čiary v podmienkach so zatemnením 40,7±22,2 cm v normálnych podmienkach 25,2±17,9 cm. Tieto výsledky preukázali signifikantný vplyv zatemnenia na krátke bekhendové podanie t(9)=4,98, p<0,001 a so silným účinkom d=1,44. Z 960 celkových podaní dopadlo do autu 63. Historické argumenty a jejich využití v politice: příklad interpretace slovenských národných dějin v období 1989 - 1992

This diploma thesis is a case study that is focused on application of the historical arguments in politics. This focus is closely oriented on the analysis of the interpretation concepts of Slovak national history in the period between November 1989 until the end of Czechoslovak federation in 1.1.1993. In the initial chapters, I primarily focus on the introduction into the issue of nationalism and national history. In the next chapter, I create a basic cleavage for Slovak national history and from that the derived typology for the concepts of the interpretation of national history. In the last chapter, I analyze the interpretation and its application by specific political actors in the above-mentioned period, which I try to add into the typology that was created in the previous chapter. Táto diplomová práca je jednoprípadovou štúdiu, ktorá sa zameriava na využívanie historických argumentov v politike. Toto zameranie je bližšie upriamené na analýzu interpretácie konceptov slovenských národných dejín v rámci obdobia medzi novembrom 1989 až po koniec československej federácie 1.1.1993. V počiatočných kapitolách sa zameriavam najmä na uvedenie do problematiky nacionalizmu a národných dejín. V následnej kapitole následne vytváram základnú štiepiacu líniu pre národné dejiny a z nej následne odvodenú typológiu pre koncepty interpretácie národných dejín. V záverečnej kapitole analyzujem interpretáciu a jej využite u konkrétnych politických aktérov v rámci vyššie zmieneného obdobia, ktoré sa zároveň snažím priradiť do typológie, ktorá bola vytvorená v predchádzajúcej kapitole.

Stochastické vícestupňové úlohy distribuce léků

This thesis deals with the multi-stage stochastic problems for drug distribu- tion. In the first chapter, we introduced two-stage and multi-stage stochastic programming problems. In the second chapter, we constructed a scenario tree and introduced two methods on how to generate scenarios - the moment method and paths-based methods. In the third chapter, the transportation problem is formulated. Next, we introduced two-stage and multi-stage models, which aim to maximize the profit of pharmacies. The multi-stage models are then extended with probability constraints. In the practical part, we analyzed the historical data and eliminated the seasonality component. Then, we generated scenarios and constructed scenario trees. Lastly, we analyzed the results of the models. 1 Táto práca sa zaoberá stochastickými viacstupňovými úlohami distribúcie liekov. V prvej kapitoly si predstavíme úlohy dvojstupňového stochastického programovania, ktoré následne zovšeobecníme na viacstupňové úlohy stocha- stického programovania. V druhej kapitole môžeme nájsť detailne popísanú konštrukciu scenárového stromu a dve metódy generovania scenárov - momen- tová metóda a metódy založené na trajektóriách. Tretia kapitola v úvode popisuje dopravný problém. Následne si predstavíme formuláciu dvojstupňovej a viacstupňovej stochastickej úlohy, ktorých cieľom je maximalizovať zisk lekární. Viacstupňovú úlohu rozšírime pridaním pravdepodobnostných obmedzení. Nasle- duje praktická časť, kde sa bližšie pozrieme na reálne dáta, ktoré je potrebné očistiť od sezónnosti. Následne vygenerujeme trajektórie a skonštruujeme scenárové stromy. Na záver si predstavíme výsledky jednotlivých modelov. 1

This thesis is devoted to introducing various types of robust and regularized regression estimates. The aim of the thesis is to present a new LWS-lasso estimate that combines robustness and regularization at the same time. Firstly, basic concepts of linear regression and modifications of the least squares are explained. Then, various robust and regula- rized estimates are introduced along with the new LWS-lasso estimate and its software implementation. Subsequently, selected estimates are compared to each other on real data and in a simulation study. 1 Táto práca sa venuje predstaveniu rôznych typov robustných a regularizovaných re- gresných odhadov. Cieľom práce je predstavenie nového odhadu LWS-lasso, ktorý kom- binuje robustnosť a regularizáciu zároveň. Najprv sa v práci vysvetlia základné pojmy z lineárnej regresie a modifikácie odhadu najmenších štvorcov. Potom sa predstavia rôzne robustné a regularizované odhady spolu s novým odhadom LWS-lasso a jeho softvérovou implementáciou. Následne sa vybrané odhady navzájom porovnajú na reálnych dátach a v simulačnej štúdii. 1

This thesis deals with language contact between the Spanish and Catalan languages. More specifically, it follows up their mutual influence, focusing on the influence of Catalan and its sociolinguistic environment on the Spanish language. In the beginning, the basic linguistic terms and the historical and structural summary of the Spanish and Catalan languages are defined. Before the very core of the work, we classify 3 language levels at which these two languages interact, forms of language contact and mechanisms of language interference. The main part of the work are two case studies in the form of an analysis of both Catalanisms of historic origin and contemporary interferences in journalistic style. Our corpus is the periodical La Vanguardia, in which the analysis is done. We are primarily interested in whether, in the case of written expression, language interference occurs and at the same time in the characteristics of individual expressions and their specific use in the context of the corpus. Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá jazykovým kontaktom medzi španielskym a katalánskym jazykom. Konkrétnejšie sa venuje ich vzájomnému ovplyvňovaniu so zameraním na vplyv katalánčiny a jej sociolingvistického prostredia na španielsky jazyk. Na začiatku sú definované základné lingvistické pojmy a historický a štruktúrny prierez španielskeho a katalánskeho jazyka. Pred samotným jadrom práce klasifikujeme 3 jazykové úrovne, na ktorých sa tieto dva jazyky navzájom ovplyvňujú, formy jazykového kontaktu a mechanizmy jazykovej interferencie. Jadrom práce sú dve prípadové štúdie v podobe analýzy ako katalanizmov archaického pôvodu, tak súčasných interferencií v publicistickom štýle. Našim korpusom je periodikum La Vanguardia, v ktorom analýza prebieha. Zaujíma nás predovšetkým, či, v prípade písomného prejavu, k jazykovej interferencii dochádza a zároveň charakteristika jednotlivých výrazov a ich konkrétne použitie v kontexte korpusu.

Britská zahraniční politika v kontextu rozdělení Indie

The thesis deals with the decolonization process of the partition of India from 1947 and its consequences. Its goal is to draw conclusions regarding the role of British foreign policy (the British government) in this process, from which two new sovereign states emerged - India and Pakistan, whose relations are still characterized by their rivalry. Specifically, the thesis seeks to answer two research questions. First, whether British foreign policy actions had an impact on the emergence of the Indo-Pakistani rivalry. Second, if so, were those actions the main causes of this rivalry, or were other events (unrelated to British action) responsible for it. In its first part, the thesis also discusses the phenomenon of decolonization from a theoretical point of view. The second part is dedicated to a case study of the partition of India. This part is in the second chapter devoted to a detailed description of the most important events from the period 1857-1947, which has the task of providing the reader with an image of how the partition of India itself took place in 1947 and what was a role that the British played in it. The third chapter, still part of the case study, begins by briefly describing the aftermath of the partition of India and the origin of the Indo-Pakistani rivalry. Then the connection... Diplomová práca sa zaoberá dekolonizačným procesom rozdelenia Indie z roku 1947 a jeho následkami. Jej cieľom je vyvodenie záverov ohľadom úlohy britskej zahraničnej politiky (britskej vlády) v tomto procese, z ktorého vzišli dva nové suverénne štáty - India a Pakistan, ktorých vzťahy sú dodnes charakteristické svojou rivalitou. Konkrétne sa v práci hľadajú odpovede na dve výskumné otázky. Po prvé, či mali kroky britskej zahraničnej politiky vplyv na vznik indicko-pakistanskej rivality. Po druhé, ak áno, boli hlavnou príčinou vzniku tejto rivality, alebo za ňu môžu iné udalosti, ktoré nesúviseli s britskými krokmi. Diplomová práca taktiež vo svojej prvej časti rozoberá fenomén dekolonizácie z teoretického hľadiska. Druhá časť je už venovaná samostatne prípadovej štúdie rozdelenia Indie. Táto časť sa v druhej kapitole venuje podrobnému opisu najdôležitejších udalostí z obdobia rokov 1857-1947, čo má za úlohu poskytnúť čitateľovi obraz o tom, ako došlo k samotnému rozdeleniu Indie v roku 1947 a akú úlohu v tom zohrávali Briti. Tretia kapitola, ktorá je stále súčasťou prípadovej štúdie, na začiatku stručne opisuje následok rozdelenia Indie a podobu indicko-pakistanskej rivality. Potom je súčasťou aj prepojenie teoretickej časti práce s prípadovou štúdiou a na záver príde analýza skoršie opísaných...
