Ve své diplomové práci jsem se pokusila sledovat a pojmenovat svou cestu k autentickému, autorskému hereckému projevu. A to skrze reflexi určitých přístupů, disciplín a škol se kterými jsem se na této cestě setkala. In my diploma thesis I tried to track and name my path towards the pursuit of authentic, authorial acting approach. By reflection of certain approaches, disciplines and schools that I came along on this journey.

Cíl mé diplomové práce je představit japonského skladatele Toru Takemitsu, skladatele japonské vážné hudby a pochopit vztahy analyzované skladby, skladatelova života a jeho filosofie. Práce se bude skládat ze šesti částí. Jsou jimi úvod, životopis, dílo, charakteristika děl, hudební analýza a závěr. V teoretické části bude představen skladatelův životopis, filosofie a jeho dílo. V praktické části bude analyzována skladba Rain Tree Sketch II – In Memoriam Olivier Messiaen –. The aim of this master’s thesis is to present the composer Toru Takemitsu, the composer of Japanese classical music and to understand connection between analyzed music, composer’s life and his philosophy. Thesis consists of six parts. Namely introduction, biography, musical works, characteristics of compositions, musical analysis and conclusion. Musical analysis will be performed on his composition called Rain Tree Sketch II – In Memoriam Olivier Messiaen –.

Diplomovou prácou sa primárne venujem skúmaniu súčasnej estetiky astronomickej fotografie. Pod pojmom astronomická fotografia rozumieme dve rozdielne, ale zároveň na sebe závislé skutočnosti. Termínom je jednak zastrešené pole vedeckých obrazov astronomického výskumu, ktoré sú primárne určené pre užšiu skupinu odborne vzdelaných pozorovateľov, na druhej strane, však termínom sledujeme aj obrazy planét, hviezd či hmlovín, s ktorými sa bežne stretáva v médiách široká laická verejnosť. Tieto obrazy na nás pôsobia ako dôveryhodné fotografie, ale v skutočnosti sú to prvotné kvantitatívne údaje pracne prevedené do vizuálnych scén, v súlade s konvenciami fotografickej estetiky. K estetizácii obrazov dochádzalo už v dobe, kedy astrofotografia pracovala primárne s fotografickými doskami. Nové spôsoby detekcie a vizuálneho zobrazenia, ktoré spoliehajú na digitálne spracovanie údajov a digitálne spracovanie obrazu, transformujú tieto tradičné postupy a techniky. Zároveň na nich ale v mnohom nadväzujú: pokračujú v budovaní špecifickej estetiky astronomickej fotografie. The diploma thesis is primarily devoted to the study of contemporary aesthetics of astronomical photography. The term astronomical photography means two different, but at the same time dependent facts. The term is covering a field of scientific images of astronomical research, which is primarily intended for a narrower group of professionally trained observers, but on the other hand, we also look at the images of planets, stars and nebulae commonly encountered by the broad lay public in the media. These images act as trusted photographs, but in fact, the initial quantitative data is practically transferred to visual scenes in accordance with the conventions of photographic aesthetics. Image aesthetization was taking place at a time when astrophotography worked primarily with photo plates. New ways of detecting and visualizing, relying on digital data processing and digital image processing, transform these traditional techniques and techniques, but at the same time they continue to do so: they continue building the specific aesthetics of astronomical photography.

Táto práca pojednáva o súvislostiach tvorby Eugena Suchoňa,
konkrétne o jeho inšpiračnom vzťahu k ľudovej etnickej hudbe Slovenska.
Mojím zámerom bolo porovnať konkrétne kompozičné prístupy, v ktorých
autor kombinuje tradíciu západoeurópskej avantgardy so štýlovosťou
slovenskej ľudovej piesne. V tomto ohľade sa môžeme stretnúť
s ojedinelým prístupom koncipácie nie len slovenskej národnej opery,
ale aj s osobitým štýlom Eugena Suchoňa, v ktorom má ľudová pieseň
tematickú úlohu. Práca pojednáva o operách Eugena Suchoňa, v ktorých
etabloval slovenskú národnú hudbu, o čom svedčí aj kategorizácia opery
Krútňava za národnú slovenskú operu. Presahy týchto súvislostí sa môžu
nakoniec pretaviť v súčasnom hudobnom živote ako nové inšpirácie
pre mladšiu generáciu skladateľov. This work looks into the context of Eugen Suchoň's works, namely
the inspirational relation to the folk ethnic music of Slovakia. My intention
was to compare specific compositional approaches in which the author
combines the tradition of Western European avant-garde with the style
of the Slovak folk song. In this respect, we can see a unique approach
to the concept of the Slovak National Opera but also the special style
of Eugene Suchoň, in which the folk song has a thematic role. The work
deals with Eugen Suchoň's operas, in which he established Slovak
national music, which is proven by the categorization of the opera
Krútňava as a national Slovak opera. These contexts can eventually
transform into new inspiration for the current generation of composers.

Stanislav Sucharda – fotografie a socha

Tato práce se zabývá fotografickým archivem sochaře Stanislava Suchardy (1866-1916). Stanislav Sucharda patřil k vůdčím osobám počátku moderní českého sochařství. Cílem práce je provést průzkum a analýzu části soukromého fondu týkajícího se fotografických reprodukcí Suchardovy sochařské práce a děl. Sbírka vykazuje široký záběr, co se týká fotografických technik a materiálů. Čítá, jak skleněné negativy, tak negativy plastové, z fotografických pozitivních technik je přítomna albuminová fotografie, kolódiódiová fotografie i rozličné typy stříbroželatinových fotografií. Na negativech i pozitivech jsou patrné druhotné zásahy. Objevují se zde laky, orámování, retuše, vykrývání či fotokoláže. Fotografická sbírka není dle nějakého kódu tříděna, negativy jsou částečně tříděny dle jednotlivých soch. Snahou bude najít propojení snímků se sochařskými modely ze sbírky. Na základě určení, za jakým účelem byly fotografie pořízeny by měla vzniknout mozaika práce Stanislava Suchardy s fotografiemi. Dále bude tato fotografická sbírka porovnána s archivy v uměleckých institucích, majících ve svých fondech fotografie spojené se Stanislavem Suchardou. Na základě bádání bude potvrzena či vyvrácena teze, že část snímků v dnešním soukromém vlastnictví Nadace Stanislava Suchardy využíval sochař čistě jen pro své tvůrčí činnosti a nebyly předmětem reprezentace jeho práce. Následně bude stěžejním výstupem nastínění role fotografií při Suchardově sochařské tvorbě a potvrzení, zda Stanislav Sucharda sám fotografoval. Při zkoumání možností tvorby Stanislava Suchardy a jeho spolupráce s fotografiemi bude použit přístup komparace s fotografickou sbírkou Augusta Rodina, který byl Suchardův přítel. This work focuses on a photographic archive of a czech sculptor Stanislav Sucharda (1866-1916). Stanislav Sucharda was one of the leaders of modern Czech sculpture. The aim of the work is to investigate and analyze a part of the private fund related to photographic reproductions of Sucharda's sculptures and work. The collection shows a wide range of photographic techniques and materials. Counting both glass negatives and plastic negatives, photographic positive techniques including albumen prints, colloid prints and various types of silver-gelatin prints. On negatives and positives there are secondary interventions. There are framing, varnish, retouching or photocollages. The photo collection is not classified according to any code, chronological or thematic distribution is missing. The aim will be trying to find links between sculpture models and photographs. Determining the purpose for which the photographs were taken should create a mosaic of Stanislav Sucharda's work with photographs. I would like to compare this archive with archives in art institutions, which have photographs associated with Stanislav Sucharda in their funds. On the basis of the research, the thesis will be confirmed or refuted that this part of the private-owned photographical collection of the Stanislav Sucharda's Foundation was used by the sculptor purely for his creative activities and were not the representations of his work. Consequently, the key role of photographing Sucharda's sculpture and the confirmation of whether Stanislav Sucharda himself photographed will be the key outline. In exploring the possibilities of Stanislav Sucharda's work and his co-operation with photographs, I will use the approach of comparison with Auguste Rodin's photographic collection, who was Sucharda's friend.

Práce se zabývá základními metodami novocirkusového tréninku zaměřeného na závěsnou akrobacii. Popisuje můj vlastní systém a metodu tréninku, které jsem si sestavila za dobu, po kterou se závěsnou akrobacií, akrobacií obecně a jejím praktikováním i učením zabývám. Předmětem práce je zdůraznit důležitost funkčního a komplexního (novocirkusového) tréninku jako základu pro kreativní proces v rámci této cirkusové disciplíny. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První se zabývá fyzickou přípravou. Popisuje především moji vlastní metodu, nazývanou Zvířátkový trénink, která slouží pro rozcvičení, mobilizaci, posílení a protažení různých částí těla. Druhá část práce se zabývá psychosomatickou přípravou. Zasazuje závěsnou akrobacii do kontextu cirkusových disciplín a popisuje její specifika. Pojednává ale také o tématech, jako jsou například strach, bolest, koncentrace, bezpečnost, a nastiňuje jak s těmito faktory pracovat. Poslední část práce demonstruje můj osobní přístup ke kreativnímu procesu v rámci závěsné akrobacie na příkladu tvorby konkrétního artistického čísla na statické visuté hrazdě. This thesis is dedicated to basic methods of contemporary circus aerial acrobatics training. It describes my own system and method which I have developed over the time I've been teaching, practicing and performing aerial acrobatics. The objective of this thesis is to emphasize the importance of comprehensive (contemporary-circus) training as the basis of the creative process in the field of this acrobatic technique. This thesis is divided into three main sections. The first one is devoted to physical preparation and mostly describes my own method called “The Animal Training” which facilitates warm-up, mobilization, strengthening and stretching of various parts of the body. The second major section deals with the psychosomatic preparation. It sets aerial acrobatics into the context of other circus techniques and describes its unique properties. It also discusses such topics as fear, pain, concentration and safety and outlines ways of working with these. The final section demonstrates my personal approach to the creative process in aerial acrobatics using the specific example of a concrete acrobatic number on the static trapeze.

I reflect on the significance of neutrality by examining the work with the neutral mask as a tool to silence facial expression and thus stimulate the physical awareness of an inner neutral center. Awareness of the body and physical receptivity both develop basic benefits for the creative development in the actor's training and also in Gestalt therapeutic practice. The focus on an assumed neutrality, which stands for a central point of reference, allows the exploration of unknown parts of personality and character, which can be used in the development of new acting roles as well as in methods of resolution of personal conflicts.
Own experiences with mask performances and masks in therapeutic use get juxtaposed with some theoretic background of mask work and philosophic ideas about neutrality. Assuming that in the no-thingness everything is included. Reflektujeme význam neutrality zkoumáním práce s neutrální maskou jakožto nástroje k docílení utišení výrazu obličeje, čímž se stimuluje fyzické povědomí vnitřního neutrálního centra. Povědomí o těle a fyzická vnímavost vyvíjí základní výhody a vlastnosti pro kreativní vývoj a ve výcviku herce, a také v Gestalt terapii. Soustředení se na předpokládanou neutralitu, kterou se myslí centrální referenční bod, umožňuje exploraci neznámých oblastí osobnosti a charakteru, což se může využít při vývoji nových hereckých rolí a také v řešení osobních konfliktů. Vlastní zkušenosti s představeními s maskami, a s maskami použivanými v terapii se porovnávají s teoretickým pozadím práce s maskou a filozofickými nápady o neutralitě. Předpoklad je ten, že v nicotě je pojmuto všechno. Žádný stres.

Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition v Tel Avivu

Tématem této diplomové práce je Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition v Tel Avivu. Nejprve se zabývám životem a dílem klavíristy Arthura Rubinsteina (1887 – 1982), po němž byla soutěž v Tel Avivu pojmenována, protože tato soutěž vychází z jeho interpretačních a životních zásad a hodnot. Sám Rubinstein byl také u jejího zrodu osobně přítomen. Práce se dále zabývá historickými okolnostmi vzniku a vývoje Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition v Tel Avivu a jejím zařazení do World Federation of International Music Competitions a Alink – Argerich Foundation, podmínkami přijetí do soutěže, repertoárem, organizačními podrobnostmi soutěže a osobnostmi, které se na ní podíleli. Tato práce také zasazuje Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition v Tel Avivu do kontextu dalších klavírních soutěží.
Diplomová práce začíná úvodem, pokračuje třemi hlavními kapitolami s několika podkapitolami a končí závěrem. Práce je doplněna devatenácti přílohami. The master thesis deals with the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv. The first chapter is dedicated to Arthur Rubinstein´s life (1887 – 1982) and his work. The competition in Tel Aviv was named after him and comes out from his interpretative work and life principles and believes. He was personally involved in the establishment of this competition in Tel Aviv. The second chapter is focused on historical circumstances of the establishment and evolution of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv and its inclusion in the World Federation of International Music Competitions and the Alink – Argerich Foundation. After that I pursue conditions of acceptance, required repertoire, time schedule, organization, system of rating individual rounds of this competition, assembling of a jury and people who has been involved. This master thesis sets the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv in comparison with several other piano competitions.
The thesis is divided into an introduction part, three main chapters with several subchapters and a conclusion. As well, nineteen attachments are added.
