História a súčasnost' poradenských stlpčekov a "agony aunts" v anglosaskej a tuzemskej žurnalistike s prihliadnutím na otázku genderu

The presented thesis, "The history and current state of advice columns and 'agony aunts' in both English and Czech and Slovak journalism with a focus on the question of gender" explores and analyzes advice columns as a journalistic genre, examining them from a feminist point of view and focusing on the question of the presented gender norms. The thesis begins with a brief historic overview of advice columns from its origins in the United Kingdom, the United States as well as Czech Republic and Slovakia. The methodological part of the study briefly outlines the theoretical background of the research, gender ideology, as well as previous studies in the field. Analytical part of the thesis looks into nine different advice columns; four British examples, two American ones and three from the Czech Republic, covering different types of media (daily newspapers, tabloids, women's magazines, radio). In selected examples from each of the columns, it strives to answer two key questions; how a given column portrays gender roles and what ideological inclinations can be found in the columns, particularly on the conservatism-liberalism and feminism-patriarchy axes. Diplomová práca "História a súasnosť poradenských stĺpekov a 'agony aunts' v anglosaskej a tuzemskej žurnalistike s prihliadnutím na otázku genderu" analyzuje publicistický žáner poradenských stĺpekov, ktoré skúma z pohľadu genderovej a feministickej optiky. V historickej asti práca približuje dejiny tohto žánru od jeho vzniku po súasnosť a to v prostredí Veľkej Británie, Spojených štátov amerických a aj v esku a na Slovensku. V metodologickej asti sú v krátkosti nartnuté teoretické východiská výskumu, genderová ideológia, ako aj doterajšie štúdie v tejto oblasti. V analytickej asti práca skúma deväť rôznych poradenských rubrík; štyri z Veľkej Británie, dve zo Spojených štátov amerických a tri z eskej republiky, a to z rôznych typov médií (národných denníkov, bulvárnych denníkov, dámskych magazínov, rádia). V konkrétnych príkladoch z týchto rubrík hľadá odpovede na dve kľúové otázky; a to ako daný stĺpek vykresľuje genderové roly a aké ideologické inklinácie je možno nájsť v stĺpekoch, najmä na osi konzervatizmu-liberalizmu a feminizmu-patriarchátu. Vo výsledkoch analýzy poukazuje na aj prípadné rozdiely v týchto hodnotách medzi stĺpekmi z anglosaského vs. eského prostredia, aj stĺpekmi z komerných i bulvárnych médií vs. celoštátnych denníkov.

Mediální obraz parlamentních voleb na Slovensku v roce 2023 ve vybraných českých médiích

The political situation in Slovakia has undergone several significant changes since the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak in 2018. In a short period of time, there was the resignation of the long- time Prime Minister Robert Fico, the split of the Smer-SD party, the election of the former opposition government headed by Igor Matovič, which was marked not only by the pandemic and the beginning of the war in Ukraine, but also by chaos, until its fall and the establishment of the government of experts. This led Slovakia to early parliamentary elections in 2023, which to a large extent polarized society. This thesis is therefore devoted to the media image of these elections in four Czech media, idnes.cz, aktualne.cz, echo24.cz and denikn.cz, which reported on the event in considerable detail. It provides a detailed description of the political situation, changes in the party system and post-election events from the murder to the post-election period. Using a quantitative content analysis, it answers the questions of coverage and representation of political parties in the Czech media, where the Smer party was represented to up to 50 percent, and in a qualitative framing analysis it describes the most frequently occurring contexts in which the media reported on the topic, pointing out the frequent... Politická situácia na Slovensku prešla od vraždy novinára Jána Kuciaka v roku 2018 viacerými výraznými zmenami. V krátkom období došlo k odstúpeniu dlhoročného premiéra Roberta Fica, rozštiepeniu strany Smer-SD, zvoleniu vlády niekdajšej opozície na čele s Igorom Matovičom, ktorú poznamenala nielen pandémia a začiatok vojny na Ukrajine, ale aj chaos, až po jej pád a nástup úradníckej vlády. To doviedlo Slovensko až k predčasným parlamentným voľbám v roku 2023, ktoré však spoločnosť do veľkej miery polarizovali. Diplomová práca sa preto venuje mediálnemu obrazu týchto volieb v štyroch českých médiách idnes.cz, aktualne.cz, echo24.cz a denikn.cz, ktoré o udalosti pomerne detailne reportovali. Poskytuje podrobný opis politickej situácie, zmien straníckeho systému a povolebného diania od vraždy až do obdobia po voľbách. Pomocou kvantitatívnej obsahovej analýzy odpovedá na otázky pokrytia a reprezentácie politických strán v českých médiách, kde sa zistilo až 50 percentné zastúpenie strany Smer, a v kvalitatívnej rámcovej analýze opisuje najčastejšie sa vyskytujúce kontexty, v akých o téme médiá informovali, poukazujúc pri tom na častý opis konfliktov, sporov a možného proruského smerovania vlády na Slovensku.

Ochrana a zneužitelnost dat v marketingové komunikaci

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of data protection and misuse in marketing. The aim of the work was to examine the perception of this issue by digital marketers, to identify the causes of insufficient compliance with the principles of data protection and to find out the main barriers related to data protection in this industry. In the theoretical part of the work, basic terms are defined, the use of data in digital marketing, methods of obtaining them and risky areas of working with them are presented. The practical part of the work includes qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews with digital marketers. The results of the research showed that digital marketers perceive the topic of data protection as important, but in practice the procedures appear to be inadequate. The main reasons for the lack of data protection among digital marketers are the low priority of the topic within the marketing community, the transferred responsibility for data protection and the technical and legal complexity of the topic. The main barriers contributing to insufficient data protection include the attitude of the marketers themselves, lack of support from company management, lack of easily accessible information on correct procedures and mistrust of the enforceability of sanctions. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá problematikou ochrany a zneužiteľnosti dát v marketingu. Cieľom práce bolo preskúmať vnímanie tejto problematiky digitálnymi marketérmi, identifikovať príčiny nedostatočného dodržiavania princípov ochrany dát a zistiť hlavné bariéry súvisiace s ochranou dát v tomto odvetví. V teoretickej časti práce sú definované základné pojmy, predstavené využívanie dát v digitálnom marketingu, spôsoby ich získavania a rizikové oblasti práce s nimi. Praktická časť práce zahŕňa kvalitatívny výskum formou pološtrukturovaných rozhovorov s digitálnymi marketérmi. Výsledky výskumu ukázali, že digitálni marketéri majú k téme ochrany dát pozitívny postoj, vnímajú ju ako dôležitú, no stretávajú sa s rizikovými situáciami, pri ktorých môže dochádzať k nedostatočnej ochrane dát. Hlavnými príčinami nedostatočnej ochrany dát medzi digitálnymi marketérmi sú nízka priorita témy v rámci marketingovej komunity, prenesená zodpovednosť za ochranu dát a technická a právna náročnosť témy. Medzi hlavné bariéry prispievajúce k nedostatočnej ochrane dát patrí postoj samotných marketérov, nedostatok podpory zo strany vedenia firiem, nedostatok ľahko prístupných informácií o správnych postupoch a nedôvera voči vymáhateľnosti sankcií.

The thesis deals with marketing communication and consumer behaviour in the context of over-the-counter medicines. The aim of the thesis is to define the factors influencing the purchase of OTC medicines by Slovak and Czech consumers. In the theoretical part, the thesis defines basic concepts in the field of marketing communication and pharmacy and introduces the Slovak and Czech laws on medicines and pharmaceuticals and laws on advertising. The thesis presents some of the most relevant research in the field of consumer behaviour in the context of pharmaceutical products and thus shapes the basic factors that consumers consider when purchasing over-the-counter medicines. Using surveys, it defines the information sources of Slovaks and Czechs, as well as the channels or social media they use the most. In the analytical part, the thesis offers a content analysis of the marketing communication of the over-the-counter medicine Detralex on the Slovak market and demonstrates the ways, means or channels through which marketing communication tries to influence the mindset of consumers. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá marketingovou komunikáciou a spotrebiteľským správaním v kontexte voľnopredajných liekov. Cieľom práce je definovať faktory, ktoré ovplyvňujú nákup voľnopredajných liekov u slovenských a českých spotrebiteľov. V teoretickej časti práca definuje základné pojmy z oblasti marketingovej komunikácie a farmácie a predstavuje slovenské a české zákony o liekoch a liečivách a zákony o reklame. Práca predstavuje jedny z najpodstatnejších výskumov z oblasti spotrebiteľského správania v kontexte farmaceutických produktov a formuje tým základné faktory, ktoré spotrebitelia berú do úvahy pri kúpe voľnopredajných liekov. The thesis is devoted to a detailed analysis of the impact of the Russian information war on the Slovak information environment. Emphasis is placed on current data in this area and the thesis focuses on information operations after 2022. The themes and narratives that Russia uses for influence in its information warfare are examined. The aim is to provide a comprehensive picture of what themes and narratives Russia is using to manipulate the Slovak audience and a framework to analyze these attacks. Using this framework, it is possible to examine the themes of Russian disinformation in Slovakia and the goals that Russia may pursue through these information operations. The thesis also provides a theoretical foundation on information warfare, its development in the Russian Federation, and the main themes of its current form. In the practical part, the theoretical knowledge will be applied to the analysis of two specific cases of information operations from the period of the election campaign in Slovakia in 2023. The methodological approach includes a content analysis of Slovak media, social networks, disinformation websites and platforms. This will be complemented with data from various opinion polls and academic studies of the Slovak information space. Práca sa venuje podrobnej analýze pôsobenia ruskej informačnej vojny na slovenské informačné prostredie. Osobitý dôraz je kladený na aktuálne dáta v tejto oblasti a práca sa zameriava na informačné operácie po roku 2022. Skúmané sú témy a naratívy, ktoré Rusko využíva na ovplyvňovanie vo svojej informačnej vojne. Cieľom je poskytnúť ucelený obraz toho, aké témy a naratívy používa Rusko na manipuláciu so slovenským publikom, a rámec na analýzu týchto útokov. Pomocou tohto rámca je možné skúmať témy ruských dezinformácií na Slovensku a ciele, ktoré Rusko môže pomocou týchto informačných operácií sledovať. Práca takisto poskytuje teoretický základ o informačnej vojne, jej vývoji v Ruskej federácií a hlavných témach jej aktuálnej podoby. Teoretické poznatky budú v praktickej časti aplikované na analýzu dvoch konkrétnych prípadov informačných operácií z obdobia predvolebnej kampane na Slovensku v roku 2023. Metodologický postup zahrňuje obsahovú analýzu slovenských médií, sociálnych sietí, dezinformačných webov a platforiem. To bude doplnené dátami z rôznych prieskumov verejnej mienky a akademických štúdií slovenského informačného priestoru.

Analýza online komunikace Jindřicha Rajchla a Ladislava Vrábela optikou personalizačních teorií

The diploma thesis is devoted to the analysis of the online communication of actors Jindřich Rajchl and Ladislav Vrabel through the lens of personalisation theories. The thesis analyses the actors' Facebook communication in the time span from 1 September 2021 to 30 September 2022. The aim of the thesis is to find out to what extent the actors' communications are personalised, based on the used communication basis and the established typology of personalised communication. At the same time, the thesis tries to find out what are the most frequent themes in the actors' communications. Finally, the results of this analysis are compared, and the similarities and differences of the individual communications are identified. The method of quantitative content analysis, manual coding and comparison is used in the thesis. The results of this thesis show that the communications of both actors carry elements of personalization, with a predominant communicative background in both cases in which the actor speaks for himself and also elements of private communication. For both actors, the theme of criticism of the government dominates. Diplomová práca sa venuje analýze online komunikácie aktérov Jindřicha Rajchla a Ladislava Vrabela optikou personalizačných teórií. V práci je analyzovaná facebooková komunikácia aktérov v časovom rozmedzí od 1.9. 2021 do 30.9. 2022. Cieľom práce je zistiť, nakoľko sú komunikácie jednotlivých aktérov personalizované, a to na základe používabného komunikačného východiska a stanovenej typológie personalizovanej komunikácie. Zároveň sa práca snaží zistiť aké sú najfrekventovanejšie témy v komunikáciách aktérov. Na záver sú výsledky tejto analýzy porovnané, a identifikované podobnosti a odlišnosti jednotlivých komunikácií. V práci je použitá metóda kvantitatívnej obsahovej analýzy, manuálneho kódovania a komparácie. Z výsledkov tejto práce vyplýva, že komunikácia oboch aktérov nesie prvky personalizácie, pričom v oboch prípadoch prevláda komunikačné východisko, v ktorom aktér hovorí sám za seba a tiež prvky súkromnej komunikácie. U oboch aktérov dominuje téma kritiky vlády. Napriek prvotnej podobnosti komunikácií existujú rozdiely v úrovni personalizácie a témach, s ktorými sa aktéri zaoberajú. Multiple voting shares in a comparative perspective and in the light of CJEU case law Abstract The submitted thesis comprehensively analyses multiple voting shares (dual class shares) and their current and future development on the European continent. In recent years, it is observable that there has been an increasing trend of adoption of multiple voting shares by companies (primarily in the technological sector), which has been reflected in the increased interest of legislators on this issue. The majority of EU Member States have in recent years adopted the reforms that allow the adoption of devices that override the principle of proportionality of voting rights, and the obvious change in the approach on this issue is also evident in the European Commission. Despite this apparent trend, neither domestic nor foreign literature provides a comprehensive analysis of the impact of the adoption of multiple voting shares on joint stock companies. Thus, the aim of this thesis is to attempt to provide a comprehensive view of multiple voting shares, to assess the effects of their adoption on the internal dynamics of the company's internal relations, its decision-making processes and, last but not least, the impact on the value and economic performance of the company. Akcie s násobným hlasovacím právem v komparativní perspektivě a světle judikatury SDEU Abstrakt Předkládaná práce komplexně analyzuje akcie s násobným hlasovacím právem (duální struktury akcií) a jejich současný a budoucí vývoj na evropském kontinentu. V posledních letech je možné pozorovat rostoucí trend zavádění akcií s násobným hlasovacím právem společnostmi (především v technologickém sektoru), čemuž odpovídá i zvýšený zájem zákonodárců o tuto problematiku. Většina členských států EU přijala v posledních letech reformy, které umožňují přijímat nástroje prolamující princip proporcionality hlasovacího práva, a změna hodnotového nastavení v této otázce je patrná i ze strany Evropské komise. Přes tento zjevný trend domácí ani zahraniční literatura neposkytuje ucelenou analýzu dopadů přijetí akcií s násobným hlasovacím právem na akciovou společnost. Cílem této práce je tedy pokusit se o komplexní pohled na akcie s násobným hlasovacím právem, posoudit dopady jejich přijetí na vnitřní dynamiku vztahů ve společnosti, její rozhodovací procesy a v neposlední řadě i dopad na hodnotu a ekonomickou výkonnost společnosti. Syntéza a vlastnosti nových vitrimerních materiálů z obnovitelných surovin

In this work, new materials based on dynamic polymer networks, also called vitrimers, were developed. These polymer networks have been developed from previously unused materials based on renewable raw materials, to maximize the renewable carbon content. The main starting monomer was based on D-isosorbide, which is prepared from starch. The latter was modified to bis-acetoacetate and used as the main building block of the networks. Di- and tri-functional amines of various origins were used as crosslinking agents - renewable sources based and for comparison, petroleum-based products. In order to get the best possible insight into the influence of the individual monomers on the final properties of the vitrimers, materials with 1:1 and 3:1 molar ratios of di- and tri-amines were developed. The prepared networks contained vinylogous urethane-type bonds - with a very low activation energy required for transamination reactions, which allows the vitrimers to retain their mechanical properties even after multiple recycling. In the case of this work, a 10% excess of free amine groups was maintained. The prepared materials in this thesis exhibit behaviour of vitrimers - network structure of thermosets and processability of thermoplastics. This was proven by thermal stability tests, tensile tests and tests... V práci boli vyvinuté nové materiály na báze dynamických polymérnych sietí, spracovateľné pri vyššej teplote, nazývané tiež vitriméry. Tieto polymérne siete boli vyvinuté z doposiaľ nepoužívaných materiálov na báze obnoviteľných surovín, s cieľom čo najvyššieho obsahu organického uhlíku. Hlavný východzí monomér je na báze D-izosorbidu, ktorý je pripravovaný zo škrobu. Ten bol modifikovaný na bis-acetoacetát a použitý ako hlavná stavebná kostra sietí. Ako sieťovacie činidlá boli použité di- a tri- funkčné amíny rôzneho pôvodu - na báze obnoviteľných zdrojov a pre porovnanie aj na báze ropných produktov. Aby bol získaný čo najlepší prehľad o vplyve jednotlivých monomérov na finálne vlastnosti vitrimérov, boli vytvorené materiály s molárnymi pomermi di- a tri- amínov 1:1 a 3:1. Takto vznikli siete, ktorých uzlové body pozostávali z väzieb typu vinylogných uretánov. Tento typ väzieb má veľmi nízku aktivačnú energiu potrebnú pre transaminačné reakcie, vďaka ktorým si, pri izbovej teplote, vitriméry zachovávajú svoje mechanické vlastnosti aj po niekoľkonásobnej recyklácií. V prípade tejto práce bol udržiavaný 10% nadbytok voľných amínových skupín. Materiály pripravené v tejto diplomovej práci vykazujú všetky vlastnosti vitrimérov - húževnatosť reaktoplastov a spracovateľnosť termoplastov. To bolo...

The subject of the diploma thesis is a focus on the moral side of the teacher's personality. In more detail, the work is devoted to the analysis of the teaching profession, the prestige of this profession, and thus what requirements are placed on the teacher in his/her profession or what personal qualities he/she should have. These and various other features were also dealt with by important thinkers, whose theories and typologies the work is further based on. As the title of the work already indicates, it is a more detailed focus on the moral qualities and ethics of teachers. In this context, the work includes an overview of the ethical codes of educators in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and their analysis from different points of view. Support in the analysis of ethics and morality in the field of teaching is also provided by the School Act, which devotes a substantial part of its content to this topic. These documents provide and content the basic principles on which the ethics of the teaching profession are based, and from which the evaluation of the entire educational process is based. Among other things, the diploma thesis focuses on the controversial issue of education and politics. The chapter dedicated to this topic aims to explain that it is also necessary to discuss political topics at school... Predmetom diplomovej práce je zameranie sa na morálnu stránku osobnosti učiteľa. Bližšie sa práca venuje analýze učiteľskej profesie, prestížnosti tohto povolania, a teda tomu, aké požiadavky sú na učiteľa v jeho profesii kladené či aké osobnostné kvality by mal mať. Týmito a rôznymi inými vlastnosťami sa zaoberali aj významný myslitelia, o ktorých teórie a typológie sa práca ďalej opiera. Ako už naznačuje samotný názov práce, ide o podrobnejšie zameranie sa na morálne kvality a etiku u učiteľov. V tomto kontexte práca obsahuje náhľad na etické kódexy pedagógov v Českej republike a na Slovensku a ich analýzu z rôznych uhľov pohľadu. Oporu v analýze etiky a morálky v oblasti učiteľstva poskytuje aj Školský zákon, ktorý tejto tematike venuje podstatnú časť svojho obsahu. V týchto dokumentoch sú položené základné princípy, na ktorých stojí etika učiteľskej profesie, a od ktorých sa odvíja následne evaluácia celého výchovne-vzdelávacieho procesu. Diplomová práca sa okrem iného zameriava aj na kontroverznú otázku školstva a politiky. Kapitola venovaná tejto téme má za cieľ vysvetliť, že je nutné rozoberať na pôde školy aj politické témy, ak chceme dôjsť k naplneniu všetkých kľúčových kompetencií u žiakov ukotvených v Rámcovom vzdelávacom programe. This thesis introduces weighted and unweighted portmanteau tests, which are used for testing goodness-of-fit of a fitted ARMA model. ARMA models are widely used for time series analysis. The reader is presented with weighted portmanteau tests with weights based on kernel functions and with geometrically decaying weights. Next, we deal with the asymptotic distribution of test statistics in greater detail. Lastly, we present an extensive simulation study in the R programming language, which computes the statistical size and power of the considered tests. The main goal of the simulation study is a comparison of weighted variants of portmanteau tests with Box-Pierce and Ljung-Box tests. 1 Táto diplomová práca predstavuje vážené a nevážené portmanteau testy, ktoré sa používajú na testovanie adekvátnosti odhadnutého modelu ARMA. Modely ARMA sa hojne využívajú pri analýze časových rád. Čitateľ je oboznámený s váženými portman- teau testami s váhami založenými na jadrových funkciách a s geometricky klesajúcimi váhami. Ďalej detailne rozoberáme asymptotické rozdelenie testových štatistík. Na záver uvádzame rozsiahlu simulačnú štúdiu v programovacom jazyku R, ktorá skúma hladinu a silu uvažovaných testov. Cieľom simulačnej štúdie je najmä porovnať vážené varianty portmanteau testov s Boxovým-Piercovým a Ljungovým-Boxovým testom. 1
