2018 - German Tato diplomová práce se zabývá obrazem nacistického režimu ve vybraných dílech alternativní historie. Stěžejní díla pocházejí od německy píšících autorů Otta Basila a Olivera Henkela. Cílem této práce je zjistit, zda a jak se zobrazení nacistického režimu liší v anglicky a německy psaných dílech alternativní historie a dále tento obraz posoudit z pohledu doby vzniku jednotlivých románů. Pozornost je věnována i anglicky psaným dílům, které lze považovat za prototypy tohoto literárního žánru. Kromě samotných románů se práce soustředí také na historický vývoj žánru alternativní historie, a to jak z hlediska historiografie, tak i světové beletrie. Dále se práce zabývá poetikou alternativní historie jako literárního žánru. V neposlední řadě je zde popsán historiografický obraz nacistického režimu a jeho vztah k totalitarismu a fašismu. This diploma thesis deals with the image of the Nazi regime in selected novels of the alternate history. Pivotal works of this thesis are written by the German authors Otto Basil and Oliver Henkel. The aim of the thesis is to discover if and how the depiction differs in English and German written works of alternate history and review the depiction considering the time when the texts were written. Attention is also paid to the English written novels that are regarded as prototypes of the genre. Besides the novels themselves the thesis also examines historical development of the genre of alternate history as a part of the worldwide fiction and from historiographical point of view. The thesis concentrates further on the poetics of alternate history as literary genre. Finally, the thesis describes historiographical image of Nazi regime and it´s relation to totalitarianism and fascism. 2018 - German Primárním cílem této diplomové práce je zobrazit na základě společenského a historického pozadí doby nacionálního socialismu v tehdejší Třetí říši problematiku ženské homosexuality a s přihlédnutím k událostem vedoucím k její ne-kriminalizaci v kontrastu s paragrafem 175 tehdejšího německého zákoníku, podle kterého byla trestná pouze homosexualita mužská, nastínit možné hlubší příčiny této diskrepance. Jako 'výchozí bod' v představení daného tématu slouží historická fakta tehdejší doby, jako 'jeviště' literárně-vědní analýza vybraných primárních děl s danou tematikou zaměřená na propojení klasického literárního rozboru a poststrukturalistických teorií. Jedním z vedlejších záměrů práce je polemika na téma 'láska' a diskuze o možném potlačení či ztrátě původní ženské 'síly' ve středoevropské patriarchálně orientované kultuře právě na pozadí dané doby, přičemž ženská homosexualita zde vystupuje jako jeden z mnoha projevů tohoto fenoménu. This diploma thesis portrays female homosexuality within the social and historical context of the National Socialism of the Third Reich, particularly the complicated reasons for its de-criminalization despite paragraph 175 of German Criminal Code punishing male homosexuality as a criminal offense. The field of historical facts and views serve as the 'playground' for a literary-science analysis of selected primary works involving this topic, based on the interconnection of classical literary theory and the post-structuralist approach. This thesis also discusses the concept of 'love' and point out the related repression or loss of female 'power' in the patriarchal-orientated Central European culture, the backlash to which female homosexuality could be understood as one of many manifestations of this phenomenon. 2018 - German Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá používáním kompozit v rakouském tisku. Teoretické východisko práce tvoří klasifikace kompozit dle Wolfganga Fleischera a Irmhild Barzové. Na základě této klasifikace byly analyzovány složeniny a jejich výskyt ve vydáních dvou rakouských deníků Der Standard a Heute. Der Standard je zástupce seriózního tisku, Heute zastupuje bulvární noviny. Cíle práce jsou: 1) analyzovat složeniny v obou denících dle uvedené klasifikace, začlenit je do jednotlivých kategorií a určit jejich počet, 2) výsledky analýzy dále srovnat a zjistit, zda existují mezi oběma periodiky rozdíly v používání kompozit, 3) zaměřit se na tzv. Augenblickkomposita (příležitostní kompozita) a kompozita, které obsahují výrazy přejaté z angličtiny. This master thesis deals with the topic of compound words in the contemporary Austrian press. The theoretical background includes the compound words classification by leading German linguists Wolfgang Fleischer and Irmhild Barz. Based on this classification, the compound words in two popular Austrian daily newspapers (Der Standard and Heute) are analysed and subsequently compared. There are three aims of this thesis: 1) the compound words analysis in newspapers, 2) the comparison of gained results and 3) the focus on the so-called Augenblickkomposita and Anglicism used within the compound words. 2018 - German Tato práce se zabývá recepcí Franze Kafky v arabském světě jakožto slavným autorem evropské moderní literatury. Prvním autorem, který se zabýval recepcí Franze Kafky, byl po druhé světové válce Taha Husain, a to v kontextu náboženství a islámské tradice. Surrealista Georg Henein jeho dílo interpretoval v kontextu dramatických událostí druhé světové války, holocaustu v Evropě a represivního režimu Nassera v Egyptě. Krátké období pozitivní recepce se změnilo po válce v roce 1973, kdy recepce jeho díla získala negativní politický kontext. Dodnes můžeme číst díla, která se snaží dílo Franze Kafky hájit s úmyslem interpretovat jeho dílo bez politického kontextu. In this work I deal with the reception of Franz Kafka in the Arabic world as a famous author from the European modern literature. The beginning of his reception started after the Second World War with Taha Husain in a religious context and with the Islamic tradition. After that come the surrealist George Henein who explained his works under the influence of the dramatic events after the Second World War and the Holocaust in Europe and the repressive regime of Nasser in Egypt. That short period of positive reception changed directly after the war of 1973 when the reception of Kafka had a negative politic context. Until today we read works that defend Kafka in intention to bring his reception far from the politic. 2018 - German Tato diplomová práce se zabývá jmény olomouckých měšťanů, která byla nalezena v rejstřících lozunků z let 1549 a 1645. V první části je stručně představena onomastika jakožto disciplína lingvistiky, prostor je věnován také teoretickému pojednání o vývoji a původu křestních jmen a příjmení. Popsána je rovněž historická situace v Olomouci v daném období a v poslední kapitole je stručně shrnut dosavadní výzkum antroponym na území města. Druhá část byla věnována vlastní analýze nalezených křestních jmen a příjmení na základě poznatků z teoretické části. V závěru práce se nachází shrnutí všech statistických výstupů a výsledků analýzy. This thesis analyses first names and surnames in Olomouc in 1549 and 1645. The theoretical part contains a brief introduction into onomastics, characteristics of the development and origin of the first names and surnames found in the registers as well as a description of the historical situation in Olomouc in the given time period. A summary of the previous research of anthroponymes in Olomouc is also included. The practical part of this theses analysis the names of citizens in the registers from 1549 and 1645. The first names are analyzed mainly on the basis of their origin, surnames are organized in semantic groups which are described in the theoretical part. The results are also evaluated statistically. 2018 - German Diplomová práce se věnuje fenoménu výpovědní modifikace v češtině a snaží se navrhnout její překlad do němčiny. V první části je nastíněna problematika definice pojmu "výpovědní modifikace", jeho kategorického vymezení a formálních charakteristik. Následně jsou uvedeny různé formy výskytu v češtině a také vztah tohoto jevu k ostatním způsobům vyjádření postojů mluvčího. V druhé části se autor krátce věnuje pojmu (funkční) ekvivalence a jeho aplikaci v překladu daných konstrukcí. V části třetí, analytické, jsou představeny jednotlivé formy výpovědní modifikace, a to především ve formě modifikačních částic a vybraných morfosyntaktických konstrukcí, společně s návrhem jejich adekvátního překladu. Analytickou část doplňuje krátká případová studie konverzační adverzativity u částice ale. This thesis deals with the phenomenon of propositional modification in Czech and suggests its translation into German. In the first part, problems with (categorical) definition of the term "propositional modification" and its formal characteristics are presented. It is followed by discussion of several forms of propositional modification in Czech and its relation to other ways of expressing speaker's attitude. Subsequently, the author deals with the notion of functional equivalence and its application in translation of the given constructions. In the third, analytical part, selected forms of the phenomenon such as modal particles and morphosyntactic constructions are presented together with suggestions of their adequate translations. The analytical part is accompanied by a short case study of conversational adversativity in case of the particle ale. 2018 - German Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rakouským románem "Vlčí kůže" od Hanse Leberta, a to z hlediska kriminálního žánru. Centrální otázka, která je v této práci kladena, zní: Do jaké míry lze "Vlčí kůži", která je známá především jako jeden z prvních protivlasteneckých románů, klasifikovat a chápat jako kriminální román? První oddíl tvoří teoretické kapitoly, které se zabývají autorem, recepcí románu, a zejména znaky, historií a vývojem kriminálního žánru. Tyto kapitoly jsou ve druhém oddílu aplikovány při praktické analýze románu, čímž mají usnadnit zodpovězení centrální otázky. This master thesis deals with the Austrian novel "Die Wolfshaut" by Hans Lebert from the perspective of the crime genre. The central question put in this thesis sounds: To what extent can be "Die Wolfshaut", which is in particular known as one of the first anti-regional novels, classified and understood as a crime novel? First part is created with theoretical chapters which deal with the author, reception of the novel and especially with characteristics, history and development of the crime genre. These chapters are used in the second part in the practical analysis of the novel to simplify the answering of the central question. 2018 - German Tato magisterská práce se zabývá románem Roberta Musila Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törleß. Cílem této práce je analýza a srovnání jednoho anglického a dvou českých překladů tohoto díla. Teoretická část této práce se opírá o poznatky dvou předních českých teoretiků překladu, a to Bohumila Mathesia a Jiřího Levého. Na základě jejich doporučení se v teoretické části nejdříve zaměřujeme na důkladnou výchozího textu. Věnujeme se nejen osobě autora a okolnostem vzniku daného románu, ale výchozí text také interpretujeme a zkoumáme i jeho jazykovou a stylistickou stránku. V praktické části se zabýváme analýzou a srovnáním jednotlivých překladů. Při rozboru překladů vycházíme z poznatků získaných analýzou výchozího textu a zaměřujeme se především na otázku, zda se jednotlivým překladatelům podařilo převést Musilův charakteristický styl psaní do cílových jazyků a jak určité změny, ke kterým v procesu překladu došlo, ovlivnily vyznění díla. This master thesis deals with Robert Musil's novel Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törleß. The aim of this thesis is an analysis and a comparison of one English and two Czech translations of this novel. The theoretical part is based on the translation theory of Bohumil Mathesius and Jiří Levý and provides a literary analysis of the source text. It is devoted not only to the person of the author and the circumstances of Törless's creation, but also to the interpretation of the text and its language analysis. The practical part is concerned with an analysis and a comparison of the individual translations. It focuses primarily on translation of characteristic features of Musil's writing style.
