2015 - German Tato disertační práce je historicky první vědeckou prací o Rudolfu Rittnerovi (1869 1943) vycházející z jeho pozůstalosti. Osobní svědectví Rudolfa Rittnera a korespondence s předními představiteli naturalismu a moderny vrhají nové světlo nejen na tohoto herce, dramatika a nástupce divadelního ředitele Otty Brahma pohled do zákulisí umožňuje vyzdvihnout jeho práci pro Ottu Brahma a dramatika Gerharta Hauptmanna na partnerskou spolupráci a doplňuje mnohými nuancemi kapitoly o naturalismu a moderně. Nejinak je tomu s Rittnerovou dramatickou tvorbou, jejíž vrchol, Narrenglanz/Lesk šaška, lze chápat nejen jako jedinečné drama zabývající se věčnou problematikou umělce, ale i jako dílo problematizující samotný naturalismus a modernu. Práce prezentuje Rudolfa Rittnera v celé jeho rozmanitosti uměleckého oborů i kulturních prostředí, ve kterých působil. This dissertation is historically the first biography of Rudolf Rittner (1869 1943) that is based on materials from his estate. Rudolf Rittner's personal testimony and his correspondence with prominent representatives of naturalism and modernism put a new perspective on this actor, playwright, and successor of the theatre director Otto Brahm; the look backstage allows us to consider his work for Otto Brahm and the playwright Gerhart Hauptmann a co-operation based on partnership. Moreover, it enriches chapters on naturalism and modernism with subtle nuances. The same applies to Rudolf Rittner's dramatic work since its peak; the play Narrenglanz/A Fool's Glory, can be understood not only as a unique play dealing with the eternal problem of the artist but also as a work thematising the literary movement of naturalism and modernism. This dissertation presents Rudolf Rittner in the whole range of artistic branches and cultural spaces he participated in. Bernhard Setzwein und der tschechische Aspekt in seinem Schaffen

2014 - German Předložená disertační práce se zabývá životem a dílem současného bavorského prozaika, básníka, dramatika a žurnalisty Bernharda Setzweina. Pozornost je věnována především jeho literární orientaci na české prostředí, která se různým způsobem odráží v textech tohoto autora. Díky rozboru Setzweinovy tvorby bylo možno charakterizovat jeho způsob psaní a literární postupy, které jsou pro něho typické. Jedná se zejména o inspiraci osobami a jejich osudy, dále konkrétními místy, reálnými příběhy a také rolí intertextuality v jeho textech. Setzwein vytváří určitý druh intelektuální hry, díky které chce postihnout smysl možného, snaží se ztvárnit různé perspektivy. Na druhé straně jsou jeho díla jakýmsi literárním obrazem jak doby současné, tak i některých dějinných etap. K rysům tvorby tohoto bavorského spisovatele patří i kombinace realismu s fantaskními prvky všeho druhu. Bernhard Setzwein je rodákem z Mnichova. Před více jak dvaceti lety se přestěhoval do bezprostřední blízkosti česko-bavorské hranice, a to znamenalo i postupnou, ale trvalou změnu v obsahu jeho děl. Téma Mnichova neopouští úplně. Do popředí se však dostávají náměty spojené se střední Evropou, především však s Českou republikou. Setzwein se seznamuje s novým kulturním prostorem, což se odráží v textech různých žánrů. Tento bavorský autor je velkým znalcem české literatury, kterou spojuje s melancholií, určitou časovou neurčitostí, ale i pivem. Je obdivovatelem díla Bohumila Hrabala, Vladislava Vančury, Oty Pavla a mnohých dalších českých spisovatelů. Pomyslným vrcholem s ohledem na český kontext v díle Setzweina představuje jeho románová trilogie ,,Trilogie aus der Mitte der Böhmischen Masse". Tato disertace se věnuje prvním dvou dílům, tedy románům Die grüne Jungfer a Ein seltsames Land. Jejich analýza se nejdříve orientuje na systém vyprávění, ztvárnění času a prostoru a charakteristiku postav. Dále jsou zde prezentovány Setzweinovy literární postupy a jejich konkrétní uplatnění v těchto dílech. The thesis deals with life and work of a contemporary Bavarian prose-writer, poet, playwright and journalist Bernhard Setzwein. The work is particularly focused on author's preference of setting his books in the Czech Republic. This is reflected in various ways in many of his texts. Thanks to analysis of Setzwein's writings it was possible to characterize his way of writing and writing schemes that he commonly uses. These were namely lives of people which inspired him, specific places, real stories and a role of intertextuality in his texts. Setzwein makes a sort of intellectual game which enables him to realize interpretation of what is possible, he tries to formulate diverse perspectives. On the other hand, his books are a literary portrait of both today and several historical periods. Combination of realism and fantastic elements of all types distinguishes him form other authors. Bernhard Setzwein was born in Munich. More than twenty years ago he moved close to the Czech-Bavarian border and it meant a gradual change in the content of his work. He does not entirely abandon the topic of Munich. Though he prefers motives connected to Central Europe, the Czech Republic above all. Setzwein discovers new cultural environment which appears in texts written in different genres. This Bavarian author is an expert on the Czech literature which, according to him, embodies melancholy, certain vagueness in the conception of time and of course, beer. He admires the masterpiece of Bohumi Hrabal, Vladislav Vančura, Ota Pavel and other Czech writers. Setzwein's triology ,,Trilogie aus der Mitte der Böhmischen Masse" represents the acme of achievement concerning Czech context. The thesis focuses on the first two volumes, novels Die grüne Jungfer and Ein seltsames Land. The analysis concentrates on narrative system approaches, the notion of time and place and characterization of his characters. Furthermore, it introduces Setzwein's writing schemes and the way they are used in these books. 2012 - German Dizertační práce Alexander Sacher-Masoch. Život a dílo pojednávající o celkovém životním přínosu tohoto rakouského autora je prvním pokusem o jeho náležitou monografii. Jejím cílem je tohoto německy píšícího moravského rodáka, kterému se mezi germanisty dosud nedostalo příliš vědecké pozornosti, i jeho životní dílo odborně prozkoumat a to pod záštitou Pracoviště pro výzkum moravské německé literatury při Katedře germanistiky Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci. Důraz je kladen na co možná nejpodrobnější uzavřenou rekonstrukci autorovy doposavad jen kouskovitě probádané biografie a rovněž na první kompletní seznam autorova knižně vydaného díla. Za tímto účelem byly sesbírány a roztřízeny materiály ze Sacher-Masochovy pozůstalosti, které ještě nebyly vědecky zpracovány a které se nacházely v několika vídeňských archivech. The thesis Alexander Sacher-Masoch: Life and Work is the first attempt at a proper mon-ograph dealing with the life?s career of this Austrian writer. The aim of this study is, with-in the Centre of Moravian-German Literature (Arbeitsstelle für deutschmährische Literatur) in the Department of German Studies at the Palacký University in Olomouc, to provide an academic analysis of this Moravian native author, who has been so far ne-glected by scholars of German studies. Furthermore, it will seek to introduce the most exhaustive and concluded reconstruction of his hitherto only partially explored biography, and besides to compile all of his published literary work. For this purpose his heritage, that was scattered among several Viennese archives and that had not been academically analysed, was sorted out. Der "unerschöpfte Tag" versus "All und Sterne": Dialektik der monistisch-dualistischen Erlösungsvisionen im Werk von Franz Janowitz

2012 - German Práce si klade za cíl představit život a dílo německy píšícího básníka Franze Janowitze (1892?1917), který se narodil v Poděbradech a strávil školní léta v Praze, kde se scházel se známými představiteli pražské německé literatury. Vedle Maxe Broda to byli hlavně Janowitzovi přátelé Franz Werfel a Willy Haas, ve stejnou dobu vzniká pevný přátelský svazek s významným vídeňským satirikem Karlem Krausem. Po čtyřech letech strávených na bojištích První světové války utrpěl Janowitz roku 1917 zranění, kterému krátce nato podlehl. Na podrobné zdokumentování všech známých fakt z autorova života navazuje přehled dosavadní vědecké činnosti týkající se autora a přehled publikování a recepce jeho děl. Druhou část práce tvoří komplexní analýza a interpretace jeho lyriky a prózy, konečně v závěrečné, třetí části je dílo autora vsazeno do kontextu německého literárního expresionismu, vůdčího uměleckého směru období let 1910?1920. Ve zvláštních kapitolách je provedeno srovnání Janowitze s Karlem Krausem a Franzem Werflem. Ukazuje se, že Janowitz na jedné straně čerpá z pramenů evropské kulturní tradice, ať už se jedná o biblickou či antickou mytologii, antickou filozofii (Platón) či německou novověkou filozofii (Kant) a literární klasiku se svými exponenty Goethem a Schillerem. V Janowitzově lyrice se tak vyskytují veskrze tradiční prvky, jako jsou např. rétorické figury, konvenční metaforické obrazy nebo rým. V próze je možné vysledovat zřetelný vliv soudobých osobností, především Karla Krause, Arthura Schnitzlera či z dnešního pohledu kontroverzního vídeňského filozofa Otty Weiningera. Na straně druhé ale Janowitz nachází svůj zcela vlastní básnický tón, který se snaží navázáním na aktuální diskurzy doby proniknout skrze svět jevů do vyšších sfér ?skutečného poznání?. Zvláště ve svých rannějších básních autor vychází z monistického chápání světa, které sdílí s Theodorem Fechnerem či Ernstem Haecklem. Tito filozofové do značné míry ovlivnili způsob myšlení na přelomu 19. a 20. století. V pozdějších básních ovšem Janowitz toto pojetí postupně opouští a přiklání se k dichotomnímu modelu, hledajícímu pozitivní protiklad k neutěšenému stavu pozemského světa v kosmicky inspirované transcendenci. Zřetelně zde vystupují paralely ke gnózi, pozdně antickému religióznímu proudu, který rovněž vychází ze striktního dualismu. Tyto představy o světě se nijak nevylučují s myšlenkami literárního expresionismu, často volajícímu po znovunastolení harmonického ?počátku?, a to i za cenu předcházejícího apokalyptického zániku světa. V neposlední řadě je u Janowitze reflektována role básníka jako zprostředkovatele mezi bohem a člověkem a vnímání pozemského bytí, které je neoddělitelně spojeno s kategorií času. Janowitz se zde dostává do blízkosti filozofie Sörena Kierkegaarda, který je od počátku 20. století stále silněji recipován zejména v německy mluvících zemích. Ze získaných poznatků je zřetelné, že autor je neprávem opomíjen, a to jak v odborných kruzích tak u široké čtenářské veřejnosti. Důkazem je absence jeho textů v reprezentativních básnických antologiích, kde by si své místo bezesporu zasloužil. The aim of this thesis is to present the life and work of poet Franz Janowitz (1892?1917) who wrote in German. He was born in the town of Poděbrady and his school days he spent in Prague, where he was meeting known representatives of Prague German literature. Besides Max Brod, also Fred Werfel and Willy Haas were Janowitz?s main friends. At that time he also made good friends with Karl Kraus, an important Viennese satirist. After four years he spent in the battlefields of the First World War he was seriously wounded and shortly after that he died. The detailed account of all known facts from author?s life is followed by the list of up to now publications about Janowitz and the list of his published works as well as information about their perception. Second part of the thesis involves complex analysis and interpretation of his lyric and prosaic works and in the last third part is Janowitz?s work put into the context of German literary expressionism, which was a leading art style in 1910?1920. In special chapters Janowitz?s works are compared to those of Karl Kraus and Franz Werfel. It is shown that Janowitz on the one hand takes from the sources of European cultural tradition, from biblical or ancient mythology, from ancient philosophy (Plato) or German philosophy (Kant), from literary classics like Goethe and Schiller. So Janowitz lyric poetry involves traditional elements, e. g. figures of speech, conventional metaphorical pictures or rhymes. In his prose clear influence of personalities can be found, especially of Karl Kraus, Arthur Schnitzler and according to present-day point of view also of controversial Viennese philosopher Otto Weininger. But on the other hand Janowitz finds his own poetic tone, in which he tries to react to actual topics in his era and to get through the world of phenomena into higher levels of ?real knowledge?. Especially in his early poems Janowitz comes from monistic comprehension of the world and he shares it with Theodor Fechner or Ernst Haeckel. These philosophers largely influenced the way of thinking at the turn of 19th and 20th centuries. Nevertheless, in his late poems Janowitz gradually leaves this attitude and tends to dichotomous model and looks for positive contrast to gloomy state of earthly life in cosmically inspired transcendence. Parallels to gnosticism are clearly seen here, i. e. late ancient religious stream, which also comes from strict dualism. These ideas of the world do not exclude the thoughts of literary expressionism, which often ask for re-establishment of harmonic ?beginning?, even at the price of previous apocalyptic destruction of the world. Last but not least, Janowitz represents a role of the poet as an intermediary between God and man, and reflects perception of earthy being, which is unseparably connected with category of time. In this Janowitz approaches philosophy of S?ren Kierkegaard, who was strongly received in German speaking countries at the beginning of the 20th century. It is clear from obtained information that Janowitz is wrongly being left out either in expert circles or among readers. It is proved by absence of his texts in representative anthologies of poems, where Janowitz, without question, should deserve his place. Deutsche Testamente in der Kremsierer Stadtkanzlei aus den Jahren 1729-1824

2012 - German Studie analyzuje 318 německy psaných testamentů z let 1729-1824, které se dochovaly jako zápisy do městských knih v Kroměříži. Cílem bylo zjistit, zda a případně podle jakého textového vzoru testamenty vznikaly, a stanovit typické lexikální a syntaktické prostředky, kterými jsou realizovány obligatorní a fakultativní prvky druhu textu testament. Výsledky studie jsou konfrontovány s výsledky analýz testamentů z Olomouce let 1416-1566 a z Jihlavy let 1544-1624. Srovnání přináší poznatky o vývoji testamentu na úrovni makrostruktury (textový vzor) i mikrostruktury (lexikální a syntaktická realizace) od 15. do 19.století na Moravě. The study analyzes 318 German written testaments from 1729 to 1824 which have been kept as records in the municipal books in Kroměříž. The goal of the study is to answer the question of whether the analyzed testaments originated according to a certain kind of a text pattern. The study stets an aim to realize which lexical and syntactic means are typical for the type of the text testament. These results are compared with the results of the analysis of testament from Olomouc 1416-1566 and from Jihlava 1544-1624. The comparison shows the changes in the macrostructure (text pattern) and microstructure (lexical and syntactic level) from 15th to 19th century in Moravia. Aspekte der Gesprächsorganisation in der deutschen und in der tschechischen Talkshow. Eine Analyse am Beispiel der Sendungen Britt - Der Talk um Eins und Trní.

2011 - German Tato studie je příspěvkem k problematice analýzy dialogu. Věnuje se organizační struktuře dialogu a prozodii v částečně připravených projevech, konkrétně porovnává německou talkshow Britt - Der Talk um eins a českou talkshow Trní. Cílem práce bylo popsat, jaké jsou centrální aspeky organizece dialogu v televizní talkshow, konkrétně v jejích prozodicky zajímavých pasážích.Z většího korpusu byl od vybrán jeden díl české a jeden díl německé Talkshow, které byly kompletně přepsány německým transkripčním systémem GAT a které sloužily jako podklad pro mikroskopickou analýzu. K té byly vybrány prozodicky a/nebo interakčně zajímavé pasáže a společně s náznakem možných kategorií byl předložen jejich popis s výsledky analýzy. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, a to ze samotné disertační práce a příloh. První kapitola je úvodem do tématu a formuluje cíle, hypotézy a metody. Druhá kapitola přináší teoretický základ celé práce, věnuje se mluvenému jazyku, teorii dialogu, lingvistické analýzy dialogu a prozodii. Třetí kapitola je pojednánímo možnostech transkripce dialogu. Ve čtvrté kapitole je představen korpus. Pátá kapitola se věnuje problematice střídání mluvčích s ohledem na jeho kompetitivní či kooperativní průběh. Šestá kapitola popisuje prozodické vlastnosti některých vybraných sekvencí z české talkshow Trní, sedmá kapitola se analogicky věnuje sekvencím z německé talkshow Britt - Der Talk um Eins. Následuje závěr a seznam použité sekundární literatury a jiných zdrojů. Příloha práce obsahuje seznam transkripčních konvencí, přepis dvou zkoumaných dílů talkshow, záznam průběhu osmi reprezetnativních dílů talkshow a pro dokreslení výsledky malé ankety zjišťující postoje potenciálních recipientů k talkshow v českých televizích. This thesis should be a contribution to dialogue analysis. It deals with the organization structure of dialog and prosody in partially prepared discourses. In this respect, two particular talk shows are compared ? the German talkshow Britt ? Der Talk um eins and its Czech counterpart Trní. The aim of the dissertation was to describe central aspects of organizing dialog in a television show, namely in prosodically interesting sections. Two partial goals had had to be fulfilled: First, to chose a suitable corpus and based on theoretical literature to analyze it. The methods to fulfil this goal included a completion of an original corpus containing four episodes of the German talk show Britt ? Der Talk um eins and four episodes of the Czech talk show Trní, their digitalisation and a brief overview of the course of each episode. These overviews served as a basis for the comparison of the macrostructure of selected dialogues. Next, one episode from each talk show had been completely transcribed using the German transcription system GAT and this was the basis for a microscopic analysis. Prosodically and/or interactively interesting passages had been added to the analysis and a hint of possible categories was presented with the results of the analysis. The dissertation consists of two parts i.e. the main part and appendices. The first chapter is the introduction which formulates the goals, hypotheses and research methods. The second chapter deals with the theoretical background of the dissertation describing spoken language, the theory of dialogue, linguistic analyses of dialogue and prosody. The third chapter focuses on the possibilities of transcribing dialogues. The fourth chapter introduces the corpus. The fifth chapter comprises the issue of speakers? turn taking with the regard to its competitive or cooperative course. The sixth chapter describes prosodic characteristics of selected sequences from the Czech talk show, and the seventh chapter does the same with the German counterpart.
