2009 - English Práce se zabývá popisem a fungování Fair Trade. Jejím úkolem je zdůraznit význam a roli maloobchodního prodeje v celém systému a zjistit, jak spravedlivý Fair Trade doopravdy je. Práce obsahuje průzkum cenovými politikami jednotlivých maloobchodních řetězců a jejich srovnání. Cílem práce je poukázat, jaké mají marže obchodníků dopad na veřejné mínění a přístup k Fair Trade. Práce je sestavena na základě převážně internetových zdrojů společností zabývajících se Fair Trade v kombinaci s názory spotřebitelů, expertů na trh a novinových článků. This thesis deals with description and function of Fair Trade on the world market. Aim of my research is to point out importance of retail in this system and find out whether Fair Trade is really fair, or just a fairer alternative to conventional trade. I researched how the corporations use or abuse Fair Trade and what impact this has had on public awareness and opinion. The sources I used were a combination of information directly from the web pages of Fair Trade organizations and retail companies in comparison to the opinions of consumers, journalists and marketing experts. The emphasis is devoted to the British market. 2009 - English Tato bakalářská práce s názvem Anglická monarchie {--} Vývoj od Tudorovců dodnes, se zabývá tím, jak se vyvíjel vztah mezi panovníky a parlamentem od období vlády dynastie Tudorovců až dodnes. Jedná se hlavně o roli těchto dvou subjektů ve vládě a jejich měnící se pravomoci. Práce obsahuje 18 kapitol, které na sebe navazují dle časového sledu a snaží se vyzdvihnout nejdůležitější události daných období, které měly vliv na měnící se tvář monarchie. This thesis named The Changing Role of Monarchy since the Tudors deals with the fact how the relationship between the monarchs and the Parliament developed from the period of Tudor rule till nowadays. It focuses mostly on the role of these two subjects in the government and their changing powers. The thesis contains 18 chapters that follow one another according to the timeline and try to highlight the most important events of particular periods that had an influence on the changing face of the monarchy. 2009 - English Práca sa venuje kľúčovým momentom írsko-anglického konfliktu na začiatku 20. storočia, konkrétne Veľkonočnému povstaniu a spísaniu deklarácie o írskej nezávislosti. Opisuje dokument deklarácie a kľúčové zmeny, ktoré priniesol do írskej spoločnosti. Práca tiež popisuje osobné životy ako aj politickú a literárnu kariéru jednotlivých signatárov deklarácie až po ich smrť popravením. V závere sa venuje spomienke na tieto udalosti v dnešných dňoch, ich pripomínaniu si, statusu, ktorý zaberajú signatári v dejinách Írska a ich významu pre dnešnú írsku spoločnosť. The work deals with information about the Easter Uprising in 1916 in Ireland. It also depicts the document of the Proclamation of the Independence and its influence and changes it brought to the Irish society. It also contains information about personal lives, but also political and literary careers of all signatories of the proclamation until their execution. The work also gives information about the commemoration of the Irish Uprising nowadays, about its influence on the Irish history and about the importance of the signatories for the Irish society in these days. 2009 - English Charakterizace klinických izolátů M. catarrhalis za použití molekulárně biologických metod a variačních metod identifikace bakterií na základě fenotypových odlišností. Mezi tyto metody patří např. test rezistence na antibiotika, PCR, test růstových křivek, rozbor schopnosti autoaglutinace a další. Tyto experimenty byly vybrány na zakládě pokrytí co největšího spektra vlastností, a tudíž co nejlépe tyto izoláty charakterizovat. Characterization of the clinical isolates of M. catarrhalis using various techniques of molecular biology as well as bacterial identification methods based on phenotypic variations. Experiments such as antibiotic susceptibility test, PCR, growth curves and autoagglutination assays were included to best characterise the mentioned properties of the strains. 2009 - English V mé práci se zabývám nizozemským odmítnutím Evropské ústavní smlouvy v referendu 1. června 2005. Důvody, které vedly k odmítnutí smlouvy, jsem zkoumala z širšího pohledu. Nizozemské "nee" je velmi komplikované a proto bylo pro analýzu nutné využít několik teorií. Cílem mé práce tedy bylo zhodnotit předpokládané důvody odmítnutí Evropské ústavní smlouvy v Holandsku a analyzovat skutečné důvody, které stály za šokujícím odmítnutím Evropské ústavy tradičně proevropskými Nizozemci Jelikož se jedná o široké téma, rozhodla jsem se toto referendum analyzovat nejprve pomocí konceptu voleb druhého řádu a issue voting. Poté jsem se věnovala problému nedostatku legitimity Evropské Unie a politické situaci v Nizozemsku kolem zkoumaného referenda. Jako poslední jsem se věnovala analýze kampaně, která referendum provázela a její možné dopady na voliče. V práci je analyzován přístup domácí politické reprezentace k Evropským tématům a k přípravě referenda. Dále je zde selhání vlády a celého pro-tábora, efektivně prezentovat Evropskou Unii, vést reálnou debatu a šířit kvalitní informace o Evropské integraci identifikováno jako hlavní důvod neúspěchu Evropské ústavní smlouvy v Nizozemí. V práci jsou tato tvrzení doložena příklady několika situací, které se v Nizozemsku před referendem udály. In my Thesis I deal with the Dutch rejection of the European Constitutional Treaty on 1st June 2005. I investigate reasons for rejection of the Treaty and attempt to see the issue in a broader view. The Dutch ``nee{\crq} as such is complex and a broader framework should be adopted for analysis. The aim of my thesis therefore is to review the anticipated motives of the rejection of the Constitutional Treaty in the Netherlands and analyze the reasons behind the shocking rejection of the European Constitution, which was supposed to increase legitimacy, by the pro-European Dutch. Regarding the broad nature of the topic I decided to focus on analyzing the issue firstly through second order election concept vs. issue voting concept. Secondly I deal with lack of a legitimacy of the European Union and the overall political situation in the Netherlands during that time. Thirdly I analyze the role of the campaigns in favor or against the European Constitution and their possible impact on the decision of the Dutch voters. Následně vyvořit seznam 500 neologismů, rozdělit je podle toho, kterým ze slovotvorných procesů byly vytvořeny, okomentovat je a zdůraznit nové trendy v anglické slovotvorbě. The aim of my Bachelor of Arts Thesis was to analyze the markedness in English morphology, provide with the types of word-formation processes and describe them. Cílem této práce je ověřit teoretické poznatky lingvistů na konkrétních příkladech získaných z korpusu (ICE-GB). The aim of my thesis is to explore the question of gender in the works of Virginia Woolf with special focus on the novels The Voyage Out, Night and Day, Mrs Dalloway, To the Lighthouse, Orlando, Three Guineas, A Room of One´s Own and numerous essays. The influence of Woolf´f life experience on her view of gender and her work is included. The thesis demonstrates Woolf´s conception of feminity and masculinity and examines the related themes. In conclusion, the work suggests the synthesis of my findings.
