Výuka cizích jazyků prochází v současné době velkými změnami. Zaměření na rozvoj interkulturní komunikační kompetence coby hlavního cíle cizojazyčné výuky je rozšiřováno o nové koncepty výuky zaměřené na žáka a na rozvoj jeho individuální mnohojazyčnosti. Komunikační pragmaticky zaměřená metoda je pomalu střídána tzv. postkomunikačním obdobím, v němž dochází k pozměněné formulaci cílů výuky cizích jazyků. V českém kontextu není tato změna konceptu zatím dostatečně reflektována. Cílem této práce je definovat specifika výuky cizích jazyků v postkomunikačním období a zároveň provést analýzu využití této metody v tradiční a alternativní škole, porovnat zjištěné výsledky a vyvodit z nich závěry pro výukovou praxi. Foreign language teaching is currently undergoing major changes. The focus on the development of intercultural communication competence as the main objective of foreign language teaching is extended by new concepts of teaching focused at the pupil and the development of his individual multilingualism. The pragmatically focused communication method is slowly alternating with the so-called post-method era, in which there is an altered formulation of the goals of foreign language teaching. In the Czech context, this change in concept has not been sufficiently reflected yet. The aim of this work is to define the specifics of foreign language teaching in the post-method era and also to analyze the use of this method in traditional and alternative schools, comparing the findings and draw conclusions for teaching practice.

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá motivací, resp. demotivací ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka a nabízí praktické přístupy k práci s nemotivovanými žáky v hodinách němčiny. Teoretická východiska této práce tvoří základní koncepty neokomunikativní výuky cizích jazyků. Na vysvětlení základních pojmů pro výuku cizích jazyků ve 21. století navazují kapitoly věnované motivaci a demotivaci. Tato část práce pojednává také o typech motivace, motivech a motivaci k učení (se cizím jazykům). V souvislosti s těmito tématy jsou představeny pojmy nemotivovaní žáci a aktivizační metody. Aktivizační metody jsou prezentovány jako příležitosti k motivování nemotivovaných žáků v hodinách německého jazyka. V empirické části práce jsou vybrané aktivizační metody testovány ve výuce němčiny. Výzkum se vztahuje k motivaci a demotivaci žáků v hodinách německého jazyka na základní škole. Zkoumaní žáci jsou účastni jak hodin němčiny obsahujících aktivizačních metody, tak hodin bez aktivizačních metod. Aktivita žáků je zkoumána po dobu několika týdnů. Shromážděná data poskytují poznatky o příslušných aktivizačních metodách a jejich vlivu na aktivitu žáků. Lze očekávat, že metody, u nichž se prokáže vysoký aktivizační účinek, se výhledově stanou součástí výuky. This thesis deals with motivation and demotivation in lessons of German as foreign language (GFL), and offers practical approaches for dealing with unmotivated GFL learners. The theoretical basis of this work is formed by the central approaches of neo-communicative foreign language teaching. The explanation of the basic terms for foreign language teaching in the 21st century is followed by separate chapters dedicated to motivation and demotivation respectively. This part also discusses types of motivation, motives and (language) learning motivation. In relation to that, unmotivated learners and activation methods are addressed in the further course of the work. Activation methods are presented as motivational opportunities for unmotivated GFL learners. In the empirical part of the thesis, selected activation methods are tested in GFL lessons. The research is carried out on the (de)motivation of GFL learners at an upper primary school. The research participants take part in both German lessons including activation methods and in lessons not including any. Their active participation in the class is researched over a period of several weeks. Based on the data collected, valuable insights into the respective activation methods and their effect on student activity are provided. Methods proven to have a high activation effect are expected to eventually find their way into teaching practice.

Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat užití metafory v oblasti přírodních věd znázorněné na příkladu Astronomie. Práce se nejprve zaměří na vymezení pojmu metafora a představí základní pojetí tohoto fenoménu. Následně je pozornost věnována zejména užití kognitivní teorie metafory ve vědě, která tvoří teoretický základ pro praktickou analýzu získaných dat a porovnání užití metafory v odborných a populárně naučných textech. V empirické časti je pomocí korpusu, sestaveného z populárně naučných textů, zkoumán výskyt metafor, jejich konkrétní užití a funkce při zprostředkovávání informací o vzdáleném vesmíru. Především se práce soustředí na klasifikaci metafor podle zdrojových oblastí, ze kterých pocházejí. V rámci jednotlivých kategorií jsou konkrétní metafory interpretovány. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky analýzy. Na základě těchto výsledků jsou stanoveny obecné tendence v používání metafor v populárně naučné literatuře. The aim of this thesis is to analyse metaphor use in the field of natural sciences which will be demonstrated on the example of astronomy. First, the thesis focuses on the definition of the term metaphor and introduces the main approaches to this phenomenon. Furthermore, a special attention is paid to the application of the cognitive theory of metaphor in science which represents the theoretical basis for the practical analysis of gathered data, and to the comparison of metaphor use in technical and popular science writing. In the practical part, the occurrence of metaphor, its specific use, and function in providing information about the distant universe are examined by using a corpus compiled from popular science articles. The thesis focuses primarily on the classification of metaphors according to the source domains which they originated from. Specific metaphors are construed within individual categories. In the end of the thesis, results yielded by the analysis are summarised. Based on these results, general tendencies concerning the use of metaphor in popular science literature are defined.

Diplomová práce se zabývá výukou němčiny jako cizího jazyka po angličtině v oblasti větné skladby. Teoretická část vychází ze základní odborné literatury a je zaměřena na prezentaci základů německé a anglické syntaxe, přičemž jsou zohledněny odlišnosti v obou jazycích. Empirická část zahrnuje analýzu učebnic německého jazyka na úrovni A1, jež se soustředí na prezentaci syntaktických jevů, ve kterých žáci kvůli odlišnostem obou jazyků často chybují. Poté jsou na základě výzkumu určeny základní syntaktické chyby a navržena případná řešení a cvičení pro práci s těmito syntaktickými jevy. Cílem práce je provést analýzu učebnic, vlastní výzkum a navrhnout řešení ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka po angličtině v oblasti větné skladby. The diploma thesis deals with the teaching of German as a foreign language after English in the field of sentence structure. The theoretical part is based on the basic literature and it is focused on the presentation of the basics of German and English syntax, considering the differences in both languages. The empirical part covers an analysis of German language textbooks at the A1 level, which focuses on the presentation of syntactic phenomena in which students often make mistakes due to the differences between these two languages. Subsequently, based on the research, the basic syntactic errors are determined and possible solutions and exercises for working with these syntactic phenomena are proposed. The aim of the thesis is to carry out the analysis of textbooks, own research and suggest solutions in teaching German as a foreign language after English in the field of syntax.

Hlavním tématem následující diplomové práce je demonstrace a vysvětlení kulturních standardů ve vybraných dílech literatury dvacátého století. Vzhledem ke studovanému oboru, byl výběr knih zaměřen především na česko-německý areál. Práce v sobě pojí dva prvky, jež byly součástí dosavadního studia, a sice interkulturní komunikaci a literaturu. Druhým cílem této práce je potvrzení či vyvrácení hypotézy, že napříč mezi kulturními standardy existuje jistá vzájemná souvislost. Tato diplomová práce se skládá celkem ze tří částí. První z nich se věnuje oboru Interkulturní komunikace a jejím hlavním pojmům. Dále následuje objasnění teorie kulturních standardů. V poslední části, kterou je také možno považovat za část praktickou, budou standardy analyzovány a vysvětleny na příkladech zvolených literárních děl. The main topic of this master thesis is a demonstration and explanation of cultural standards in selected works of twentieth century. In relation to studied field, is the selection of literature oriented towards the czech-german area. The thesis binds together two subjects of the previous studies - the intercultural communication and literature. The second goal of this thesis is to prove, that there is certain correlation across the cultural standards. This thesis consists of three parts. The first one is dedicated to the intercultural communication and its main terms. After that follows a chapter about the cultural standards. In the last part, which could be observed as a practical field, the cultural standard will be analyzed and explained with the examples found in the selected literature.

Tato práce se zaměří na tradiční útvar pohádky a její aktualizaci jako prostředek nacistické propagandy. Předmětem analýzy bude pohádka jako literární a didaktický žánr. Diplomová práce se dělí na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část představí základní znaky pohádkového žánru a zároveň hlavní principy propagandistické manipulace v moderních dějinách. Praktická část práce se zaměří na srovnání vybraných pohádkových děl bratří Grimů a ve filmovém zpracování nacistické propagandy, dále se v analýze děl zaměří na didaktické záměry, literární a filmový jazyk a formy manipulace ve filmu jako prostředek propagandy. This thesis focuses on a traditional form of fairy tale and its updates as an instrument of Nazi propaganda. The main object of this analysis is a fairy tale as a literary and didactic genre. The diploma thesis consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part introduces general signs of fairy tale genre and main principals of propaganda manipulation in modern history. The practical part focuses on a comparison of selected Grimm brothers 'fairy tales and movie processing of Nazi propaganda. Furthermore, the analysis focuses on didactic intensions, literary and film language and forms of manipulation in a movie as an instrument of propaganda.

Einfluss des Englischen auf die Aussprache im Deutschen am Beispiel von tschechischen Muttersprachlern in der Sekundarstufe I

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem angličtiny na výslovnost v němčině u českých rodilých mluvčích na 2. stupni ZŠ. V teoretické části jsou charakterizovány a klasifikovány segmentální a suprasegmentální jevy jak v angličtině, tak v němčině na základě dostupné odborné literatury. Praktická část je zaměřena na konkrétní výzkum vlivu angličtiny u žáků 6. - 9. tříd, který proběhl pomocí zvukových nahrávek zadaného textu. Shromážděná data jsou dále analyzována z hlediska poměru ke všem respondentům i z hlediska výskytu problematických jevů v jednotlivých třídách. Práce je vypracována v německém jazyce. This diploma thesis deals with the influence of English on pronunciation in German with examples of Czech native speakers at secondary school level. The theoretical part characterises and classifies segmental and suprasegmental features of English and German on the basis of available literature. The practical part focuses on the research of the influence of English at secondary school level (6. - 9. classes), which was conducted by recording the presented text. The gathered data are further analysed from the point of view of the proportion to all respondents as well as of the occurrence of the problematic features in particular classes. The work is written in the German language.

Diplomová práce se zakládá na odborném jazyku recyklace a zpracování plastů a zohledňuje jednotlivé jazykové a textové rysy. Charakteristické znaky jsou analyzovány na základě prospektů získaných na mezinárodním veletrhu Fakuma věnujícímu se právě tomuto průmyslovému odvětví. Nejprve zaměříme pozornost na definování odborného jazyka samotného, přestaveny budou i různé pohledy na tuto problematiku, později se práce zaměří na odborný jazyk techniky, chemie a ekologie, které se objevují v analyzovaných technických reklamních prospektech. Značnou roli zde hraje i reklama, proto se jí věnuje druhá kapitola. Empirická část se soustředí na rozbor textů podle konkrétních jazykových rovin, a sice od textové, stylistické, přes lexikální, až po morfologickou. Na závěr jsou zařazeny tabulkové přehledy a shrnující kapitola. The following Master thesis is based on the technical language of recycling and plastic processing taking into consideration the relevant language and text attributes. Characteristic features are analysed on the basis of leaflets acquired at the international trade fair Fakuma focussing on this particular industry. First, the Master thesis concentrates on the definition of technical language itself presenting different points of view of this issue. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the technical language of technology, chemistry and ecology which is employed in the analysed leaflets. Of major importance for the flyers is also the element of advertising which is elaborated in the second chapter. The empirical part of the thesis concentrates on a text analysis of each of the language subsystems: textual, stylistic, lexical and morphological. To conclude with, the thesis provides table overviews and a summarizing chapter.

Komparative Analyse von Anglizismen in den deutschen Standardvarietäten

Předkládaná diplomová práce "Komparativní analýza anglicismů v německých standardních varietách" se soustředí na problematiku anglických lexikálních výpůjček v současné němčině, která je v současnosti velmi aktuální a vyvolává smíšené reakce v řadách jak laické veřejnosti, tak jazykovědců. Diplomová práce nejprve představí základní poznatky k tématu proměny jazyka, zvláště pak její příčiny vně i uvnitř jazyka. Následně jsou blíže charakterizovány tři národní variety spisovné němčiny - německá, rakouská a švýcarská. Třetí kapitola je věnována konkrétnímu vlivu anglických lexikálních výpůjček na němčinu. V empirické části se diplomová práce soustředí na komparativní analýzu anglicismů, které byly pro každou z národních variet sesbírány na základě 100 novinových článků ze tří nadregionálních online periodik. V závěru analýzy jsou stanoveny aktuální tendence v používání anglicismů a specifika jednotlivých variet v tomto ohledu. V poslední kapitole se práce věnuje kritické recepci anglicismů u veřejnosti a představuje problematiku anglických lexikálních výpůjček v němčině z pohledu sociolingvistiky. The following Master thesis "A Comparative Analysis of Anglicisms in German Standard Varieties" focuses on the matter of English lexical borrowing in German which is currently very topical and provokes mixed reactions both from laymen and linguists. First, the thesis introduces the fundamental knowledge of language change focusing on its internal and external causes. Furthermore, the three German standard varieties are characterised - German Standard German, Austrian German and Swiss German. The third chapter is devoted to the concrete influence of English lexical borrowings on German. Moreover, the empirical part presents a comparative analysis based on a collection of anglicisms from 100 newspaper articles from national online newspapers for each of the varieties. At the end of the analysis, current tendencies concerning the use of anglicisms and the particularities of the individual standard varieties are defined. To conclude with, the thesis deals with the critical reception of anglicisms in the public discourse and presents the matter from the point of view of sociolinguistics.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem německé menšiny v obci Lenora. Protože byl život v Lenoře úzce spojen se zdejší sklárnou, je v práci popsána i historie skla na Šumavě a lenorské sklárny. Od založení Československa je vždy popsán kontext celého Československa, a až poté je analyzován život v Lenoře. Práce informuje také o situaci po odsunu, protože v Lenoře zůstalo kvůli sklárně hodně Němců. Pro doplnění historie Němců v Lenoře byly provedeny s několika pamětníky rozhovory. Po odsunu se obyvatelstvo v Lenoře hodně proměnilo, proto byla napsána i jedna kapitola o reemigraci. Poslední kapitola informuje o dnešním stavu. Přičemž je zde popsán spolek Heimatkreis Prachatitz, který je spravován od Němců, kteří žili v prachatickém okrese. This Master thesis deals with the topic of the German minority in the village Lenora. As the life in Lenora was very closely connected to the local glassworks, the thesis provides a brief history of glass in the Bohemian Forest and the glassworks in Lenora as well as the historical context in the country dating from the establishment of Czechoslovakia and the analysis of the life in Lenora. The thesis also describes the situation after the expulsion of Germans from Czechoslovakia because many Germans stayed in Lenora even after the expulsion due to their employment in the glassworks. In addition to the history of Germans in Lenora, interviews with several contemporary witnesses were made. After the expulsion, the population in Lenora changed significantly, which was the reason for dedicating one chapter to the topic of remigration. The last chapter informs about the current state of affairs concentrating on the society Heimatkreis Prachatitz administered by Germans who lived in the district of Prachatice.
