Maria Molchan Bohumil Hrabal v ruských překladech Богумил Грабал в русских переводах Bohumil Hrabal in Russian Translations Abstract The aim of this doctoral thesis is to analyze existing translations of Bohumil Hrabal's works into the Russian language, to create an adequate translation of Hrabal's novel Harlequin's Millions, to accompany it with an introspective commentary on the translation process, and to place it into the context of the current translational norm. The present work can be defined as an empirical-analytical study. The empirical part of the thesis consists of the first translation ever done of Harlequin's Millions into Russian preceded by a complex theoretical-analytical study. This study has a multilevel structure and includes translation criticism of Hrabal's works in Russian based on a special methodological framework, which was developed specifically for the purposes of our research. The study also covers the issue of translational norm, offers a review of secondary literature on Hrabal, and defines the author's role among other Czech writers on the Russian book market. The translation of Harlequin's Millions is followed by an extensive multilevel analysis of the novel's translation, including its correspondence with the existing translational norm in Czech-Russian... Hrabala do ruštiny, vytvořit adekvátní překlad novely Harlekýnovy miliony B. Hrabala, zpracovat k němu translatologický komentář a zařadit tento překlad do kontextu stávající normy překladu. Práci lze definovat jako empiricko-analytickou. Empirickou část disertace tvoří vůbec první překlad Harlekýnových milionů B. Hrabala do ruštiny, jemuž předchází komplexní teoreticko- empirická translatologická studie. Tato studie má vícevrstvý charakter a skládá se z překladatelsko- kritické analýzy Hrabalova díla v ruštině dle speciálního metodologického vzorce zpracovaného pro účely této práce. Patří do ní také popis normativních aspektů překladu, přehled sekundární literatury o B. Hrabalovi, určení místa autora mezi překlady jiných českých autorů na ruském trhu. Po samotném překladu Harlekýnových milionů následuje podrobná víceúrovňová translatologická analýza překladu novely včetně zkoumání otázky souladu mezi tímto překladem a normou překladu děl B. Cognitive and Cultural Approach Summary The purpose of the study was to describe the contents of the selected categories of colors («Синий цвет», «Голубой цвет», «Коричневый цвет», «Серый цвет», «Розовый цвет», «Оранжевый цвет», «Фиолетовый цвет», «Modrá barva», «Hnědá barva», «Šedá barva», «Růžová barva», «Oranžová barva», «Fialová barva») using the example of their basic terms (синий, голубой, коричневый, серый, розовый, оранжевый, фиолетовый, modrý, hnědý, šedý, růžový, oranžový, fialový) in Russian and Czech, as well as to reveal the specifics of color vision of the world of Czech and Russian speakers by comparing the obtained data. In this study we chose to use the cognitive and cultural approach to the language where, for example, the lexical meaning of the word is viewed as a holistic image, a realized physical and sensual experience. The nature of the study has cultural linguistic tone, because, first of all, it examines the facts of the language and helps in making linguistic conclusions, and, secondly, - the results of the study allow us to make some conclusions about the social and cultural characteristics of Russians and Czechs. Vycházela jsem z jejich základních názvů синий, голубой, коричневый, серый, розовый, оранжевый, фиолетовый v ruštině a modrý, hnědý, šedý, růžový, oranžový, fialový v češtině. Výsledky analýzy mají ukázat specifičnost barevného vidění mluvčích češtiny a ruštiny a zejména vystihnout rozdíly v kategorizaci barev a konceptualizaci jejich obsahů. The thesis deals with loan words in film and theatre vocabulary in Russian and Czech language. While earlier the loans were adopted from different languages (French, Italian, English and German), today English is mostly the source. The theatre vocabulary has not changed much lately (one of the reasons might be that it had already absorbed a great deal of loans in the past) while in the film vocabulary the influence of English is immense. Russian language despite its different graphic system inclines to English loans more than Czech that tends to be more traditional. The thesis follows the processes in which the English vocabulary is absorbed by both flective languages, describing the similarities and differences between them. A survey was carried out among Russian and Czech native speakers in order to define to what extend they understand the meaning of the loan words. In both languages the loan film and theatre terms form an important group of new vocabulary. A dictionary with over one hundred film and theatre terms, including their etymology, source language and context in which they are used in Russian and Czech is part of the thesis. Oleksandr Belya MYŠLENKOVÉ A REFORMNÍ PROUDY V UKRAJINSKÉ PRAVOSLAVNÉ CÍRKVI V PRVNÍ POLOVINĚ XX. STOLETÍ In the proposed thesis, the Ukrainian Church Movement of the first half of the 20th century is studied in reference to consequences of the analytik opening of its inner and outer contents. The shown historical period is the most vivid in this sense. The analytik conclusions in the historical aspect mark the derivation of the Ukrainian Church Idea from the integrity of the Russian Church and the Historical Archetype. Due to its aberration under the exposure of historic cataclysms, the Ukrainian Idea, found the tendency to self sufficient historical realisation. However, the lack of consistent harmonisation of its up to date condition with the archetypal basis, became the reason of the falling to the historical marginalia level with its coming consequences that directly affected the Church life. Methodologically, the Ukrainian Church Idea in its inner and outer kontent is estimated as to the analytik paradigms. As a result, there was found the high level of morphological dependence and ''genetic predisposition'' to the progressive fragmentation of its integrity. The work is dedicated to the language situation in Belarus at the turn of the 20th and the 21st century. It presents the Belarusian language situation in the context of the East Slavic languages and in a more widespread, postcolonial language continuum which finds itself in a new development phase. The contemporary language situation in Belarus is characterized by historical interferential influence; an emphasis is put on its binary nature which may be found in all spheres, and demonstrates the inevitability of a complex analysis. The work deals with the degrees of the contemporary interference, touches upon the process of mutual influence and its impact on the contemporary East Slavic languages is studied on the example of the adaptation of "cerkovnoslovjanizm" (the language of the Orthodox Church). The aim of the work is to present a common language situation in Belarus which has been developing in the situation of asymmetrical bilingual direction. Anyway, the work doesn't claim to describe all the characteristics concerning language interference in Belarus. The real contemporary bilingual situation is described. Předkládaná disertační práce se věnuje jazykové situaci v Bělorusku na přelomu XX. - XXI. století. Představuje běloruskou jazykovou scénu v kontextu východoslovanském, a zároveň v širší postkoloniální jazykové kontinuitě, která v současné době prožívá novou etapu rozvoje. Současná jazyková situace v Bělorusku je charakterizována jako výsledek historických interferenčních vztahů, je zdůrazněna její dichotomie, která se projevuje ve všech rovinách, a tím podmiňuje nutnost komplexní analýzy s využitím všech možných lingvistických a nelingvistických různorodých spojení. Interference jako důsledek kontaktu se projevuje ve všech rovinách minoritního jazyka, z nichž každá odráží různorodé příznaky interference. Jsou analyzovány úrovně současné interference, je zmíněn starší proces vzájemného vlivu a jeho důsledků v současných východoslovanských jazycích na příkladu adaptace výpůjček z církevní slovanštiny. This work is an analysis of style in the Russian postmodern novel, executed on the texts of the four key novels from the last decade of the 20th century. They are: Vladimir Sorokin ( ), « » Victor Pelevin ( ), « » Tatiana Tolstaja ( ), «» Ludmila Petrushevskaja ( ), « » The methodological base chosen is the one that serves in functional stylistics, complimented by the theory of 'constructively styling vectors' by V.G. Kostomarov. The aim of this work is a detailed description of specific stylistical tendencies that are characteristic to the text of a post modern novel. The analysis situates within with basic principles of postmodern text (it begins with non-constitutive and ends with constitutive principles). All four chapters in the first part present in-depth stylistical analysis of the text of one of the novels. This analysis is based on the terms of the mentioned above non-constitutive principles. (These principles are: deconstruction, simulacrum, rhizome, the death of the author). Meticulous realization of every principle is highlighted throughout the texts. There are also further examples of functional comparison of the same principle used in the other texts. Analysis is made of the content as well as of the expression of that content, using themes, plot, composition, build up of images and... Předkládaná práce je věnována problematice stylu ruského postmoderního románu. Problém byl zkoumán na textu čtyř klíčových románů reprezentativních představitelů tohoto směru, jejichž vznik spadá do 90. let 20. století. Vladimir Sorokin ( ), « » Viktor Pelevin ( ), « » Tatiana Tolstaja ( ), «» Ljudmila Petruševskaja ( ), « » Jako metodologický základ byly použity postupy rozpracované funkční stylistikou, které jsou doplněny teorií konstruktivně-stylových vektorů V. G. Kostomarova. Cíl práce spočívá v co nejpodrobnějším popisu specifických stylotvorných rysů, příznačných pro text románu v postmoderní situaci. Východiskem bádání jsou stěžejní principy postmoderního textu, přičemž v první části jde o principy nekonstitutivní, v druhé pak konstitutivní. Každá z prvních čtyř kapitol je hloubkovou analýzou textu jednoho z románů, jenž je zkoumán z hlediska jednoho z následujících nekonstitutivních principů: dekonstrukce, simulacrum, rizoma, smrt autora. Realizace jednotlivých principů je detailně rozebrána na příkladě konkrétního textu a zastřešena srovnáním osobitého využití tohoto principu v jiných textech. The thesis concentrates on the life and work of Nikolai Lvovich Okunev (1885- 1949), an important historian of art and representative of Medieval studies, Professor at Charles University in Prague. His research work, that already began during his studies at the University in Saint Petersburg, meant an important contribution to studies in the field of Old Russian, Byzantine and Medieval Armenian Art and Architecture. After he had left his native country for political reasons, he was living in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes in 1920-1923, then in 1923-1949 in Czechoslovakia. For more than 20 years he lectured at Charles University in Prague where he educated a number of disciples. He was a member of the Institute of Slavonic Studies, a founder of the Archive and Gallery of the Slavonic art atttached to the Institute, an editor of the scientific journal Byzantinoslavica. His works published during the emigration were devoted especially to Medieval monuments in Serbia and Macedonia. Okunev's research work and his cultural involvement are presented in the thesis in the wide context of research activities of different institutions (Russian Archaeological Institute in Constantinople, University of Saint Petersburg, Charles University, Institute of Slavonic Studies and the Slavonic Library in Prague),... Disertace je věnována životu a dílu profesora Karlovy univerzity v Praze Nikolaje Lvoviče Okuněva (1885-1949), významného historika umění, představitele světové medievistiky. Jeho vědecká činnost, započatá již době studií na Petrohradské univerzitě, hrála důležitou roli v oblasti studia staroruského, byzantského a středověkého arménského umění a architektury. Poté, co N. L. Okuněv z politických důvodů opustil svou vlast, žil v letech 1920-1923 v Království Srbů, Chorvatů a Slovinců, od r. 1923 do r. 1949 pak v Československu. Více než 20 let přednášel na pražské Karlově univerzitě, kde vychoval řadu žáků. This work deals with the literaturary project "B. Akunin", which was defined by it's creator G. Chkhartishvili as a "quality literature for the mass reader". When they wish to characterise the project, critics emphasize the use of an adventure plot combined with interesting style and intertextual play. We see a tendency to place the project in the "middle level", which in their hierarchy is somewhere between the literature created for the "happy few" and consumer fiction. However convergence of mass and elite culture is too general a trend in postmodernist literary strategy to be sufficiently characteristic of a concrete author. Our research covers all the texts published to the present day under the names of both G. Chkhartishvili and B. Akunin. It was the part of the extratextual strategy of the author to construct an image of himself as a writer of serious, almost scientific prose, who began to write detective stories for his own and his readers' enjoyment. The author generally uses mass clichés whenever he describes his heroes and action scenes in the story. He uses a great many simple references to the other literaturary works in his texts which should be understandable by every reader. At the same time we find other, more complicated references requiring knowledge of a wider literary "encyclopedia"....
