2012 - Spanish Variation in Cuban Spanish Abstract The aim of this thesis is to deal with the topic of variation in Cuban Spanish, with a special emphasis on the Havana variety, one of the most innovative and recognizable within the island's linguistic landscape. The work is divided into three sections: phonetics and phonology, lexis and semantics, morphology and syntax. The cases described are illustrated with entries taken from a lexico- graphical work of personal authorship, or likewise with usage examples mainly taken from the Reference Corpus of Contemporary Spanish (CREA). On the basis of the analysis of the collected data, this paper examines the state of variability and balance inherent to the system, in order to deepen in the understanding of the mechanisms that shape this language variety. Jazyková variantnost v kubánské španělštině Abstrakt Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou variantnosti v kubánské španělštině. Důraz klade na řečový systém hlavního města Havany, jeden z nejinovativnějších a nejvýznačnějších v rámci kubánských mluv. Práce je rozdělena do tří sekcí: fonetika a fonologie, lexikologie a sémantika, morfologie a syntax. Popsané případy jsou ilustrovány hesly převzatými z autorovy lexikografické práce nebo také příklady použití převážně převzatými z Referenčního korpusu současné španělštiny (CREA). Na základě rozboru nashromážděných údajů se zkoumá stav variability a rovnováhy inherent- ních systému. Záměrem je prohloubit pochopení mechanismů, které vytvářejí tuto jazykovou variantu. 2012 - Spanish This thesis focuses on the realization of high front vowel in Czech and Spanish, with respect to second language acquisition. In the first part, general theoretical concepts are explained, such as fossilization, SLA, critical period, and SLA model designed by Flege (1995) and also a comparison of the Spanish and Czech vowel is given. As Czech and Spanish vocalic systems are very similar, the subtile phonetic differences are to be detected in the second part where realizations of these two vowels in selected consonantal contexts are analysed. Diplomová práce se zabývá osvojováním španělského vokalického systému českými studenty, konkrétně výslovností přední vysoké hlásky i, která v češtině v posledním století zaznamenala významný artikulační posun. V první, teoretické části práce se vysvětlují relevantní pojmy a porovnávají se základní vlastnosti české a španělské hlásky i. Ve druhé části se pak přistupuje ke zkoumání této hlásky v konkrétních kontextech (tj. v blízkosti bilabilály, alveoláry/dentály, palatály, veláry, uvuláry) a zjišťují se hlavní tendence v české a španělské výslovnosti, se zvláštním zřetelem k osvojované formě španělštiny. Transcendetálno v díle "Yzur" od Leopolda Lugonese

2011 - Spanish The diploma thesis attempts to identify transcendental elements of "Yzur", a short story by Leopoldo Lugones. The thesis propounds several theoretical-practical methods regarding the matter. One of the methods is to compare "Yzur" to "Persona", the work of art of the Swedish film maker and screenwriter Ingmar Bergman. The comparison of both texts is based on their complementary reading. It is possible to determinate this way the transcendental points of the short story emerging from the following interlaced levels of the texts: the linguistic level, the stylistic level, the structural level, the thematic level and the interpretative one. One of the most outstanding transcendental elements of "Yzur" is precisely the richness of the possible interpretations. Other important transcendental features include the ambiguity, the contrasts and the active participation of the reader. Key words: Leopoldo Lugones, Persona, Ingmar Bergman, transcendental RESUMEN La presente tesis de diploma aspira a determinar los elementos trascendentales del cuento "Yzur" de Leopoldo Lugones. El trabajo propone varios procedimientos teórico- prácticos al respecto. Uno de los procedimientos es la comparación de "Yzur" con la obra "Persona" del cineasta sueco Ingmar Bergman. El análisis comparativo de ambas obras se basa en su lectura complementaria. De tal manera es posible determinar varios planos de entrecruzamiento que participan en el mecanismo trascendental del cuento y corresponden a los siguientes planos del texto: el nivel lingüístico, estilístico, estructural, temático y el interpretativo. Es precisamente la riqueza interpretativa uno de los elementos trascendentales más destacados de "Yzur". Esta su propiedad se ve complementada con la de ambigüedad, la de contrastes y la participación activa del lector. Vliv nativních jazyků na mexickou španělštinu

2010 - Spanish This work is dedicated to the study of the influence of native Languages of Mexico on the Spanish of this contry. Marginally mentions the influence on the regional variety and also the way how the native languages influenced the Spanish language of other Latinamerican countries and even of Spain. Besides this, mentions the words which acepted also another languages of the world. It is for example chocolate and cacao. I made an analysis of the linguistic situation from the arrival of the conquistadors till the actuality. Furthermore this work is dedicated to the description of Amerindian languages, which really influenced the Spanish of Mexico and how they did it. The most important language is the nahuatl, which had the opportunity to influence of the way most considerable the Spanish, because it was the speech most expanded in the period of colonization. After studying different books dedicated to this theme, it is possible to submit that the bigger influence is in the area of vocabulary. I used also the corpus of Royal Spanish Academy to give support to the results I had from the books. I described the way of incorporation of the native words to the Spanish and also I mentioned the vocables acepted from other native speeches of Mexico. In conclusion it is necessary to tell that the influence of native... Tato práce se věnuje studiu vlivu mexických indiánských jazyků na mexickou španělštinu, především jako celek. Okrajově zmiňuje také vliv na regionální varianty mexické španělštiny a také, jak tyto jazyky obohatily ostatní latinskoamerické země a dokonce i Španělsko. Kromě toho zmiňuje slova, která přejaly i jiné jazyky světa a díky tomu zmezinárodněla. Jedná se především o čokoládu a kakao, které přejala dokonce i čeština. Práce obsahuje analýzu lingvistické situace od příchodu dobyvatelů na území dnešního Mexika, až po současnost. Dále se věnuje popisu indiánských jazyků, které skutečně měly vliv na španělštinu této země a jakým způsobem. Nejdůležitějším jazykem je proto nahuatl, který jako nejrozšířenější jazyk koloniální doby měl možnost nejvýznamněji ovlivnit španělštinu. Další zmíněné jazyky jsou májština, zapoteco, tarasco, otomí a cahíta. Po prostudování různých publikací věnujícím se tomuto tématu mohu konstatovat, že největší vliv nativních jazyků na španělštinu je v oblasti slovní zásoby. Jeden z nejdůležitějších autorů pro tuto oblast je Juan Miguel Lope Blanch. Abych doložila a podpořila výsledky a závěry z knih, použila jsem informace z korpus Španělské Královské Akademie. Kromě toho jsem vytvořila vlastní dotazníky, které mi vyplnili někteří španělští a mexičtí přátelé a známí. Všechny... 2009 - Spanish Author of the thesis is concerned with the reflection of Eastern Europe in the political and social life in Chile between years 1917 - 1947 that is in the period between Russian revolution and the beginning of the Cold War. He is describing the official relations, diplomatics and economics, as well as contacts on unofficial level, i.e. political and social. His primary focus lies on the Chilean left thought, especially communism, as an extraordinary strong bond between such distant regions. In this context he is observing historical and ideological genesis of these left-wing streams. Besides that, he is analyzing international matters that were helping (Russian revolution, the Frente Popular government) or hindering (North American influence, political climate after World War II) the penetration of the Eastern European world into the Chilean society. 2009 - Spanish he topic of the thesis is Spanish advertisements from the perspective of the text linguistics. Already the title itself says that the study consists of two parts. The first one is theoretic; it tries to explain the issue of the text linguistics, to characterize the situation of discipline from the point of view of the significant authors belonging to the given theory. The point of departure is the theory of textuality according to two important linguists Beaugrande and Dressler (1997) who present the text linguistics from perspective of seven norms. At the same time the study refers to existing relation between the iconic and the verbal languages and explains the essential notion and terms relating to the advertisement. The second part is focused on the practical aspect, application of textual norms on advertising message. It is based on specific examples of Spanish daily newspaper El País which is one of the Spanish newspapers with a large base of readers. Tématem diplomové práce je španělská reklama z pohledu textové lingvistiky. Jak již samotný název řká, práce se skládá ze dvou část. Prvn je teoretická, snaž se vysvětlit problematiku textové lingvistiky, charakterizovat stav disciplny z pohledu významných autorů daného oboru. Výchozm bodem je teorie textuality dvou lingvistů Beaugranda a Dresslera (1997), kteř předkládáj textovou lingvistiku z pohledu sedmi norem. Zároveň práce apeluje na existujc vztah mezi ikonickým a verbálnm jazykem a vysvětluje nezbytné pojmy a termny vztahujc se k reklamě. Druhá část je zaměřená na praktickou stránku, aplikace norem textuality na reklamn sdělen. Prostor v literárním díle Jorge Luis Borgesa a Adolfa Bioy Casaresa

2009 - Spanish This thesis, entitled "The Concept of Space in the Literary Work of Jorge Luis Borges and Adolfo Bioy Casares", presents the concept of space in the literary work of Borges and Bioy Casares, in particular in the short stories "The House of Asterion" and "The 69 Circular Ruins", and the novel The Invention of Morel. The study is based on theoretical works on the concept of space. Its main focus are the literary archetypes that appear in the works in question, and the ways in which the lines between the real and the fictitious fade away. It presents the vision of the world of both writers. The first part of this work is based on Daniela Hodrová's theory of secular and sacred places and it analyzes the process of the "profanization of the sacred" in the works in question. The places originally dedicated to God lack in both authors a sacred character. Both writers convert literary space of their works into a place of artistic creation. Both the magician of "The Circular Ruins" and Morel of Bioy's novel make an attemp to imitate the demiurgic act. As far as Hodrová's analysis of house and prison is concerned, both writers create a house-prison hybrid; the places which are closed in a way (the museum, the maze), become the representation of the world where the character (Asterion, the narrator of The Invention of... Diplomová práca, nazvaná "Priestor v literárnom diele Jorge Luis Borgesa a Adolfa Bioy Casaresa", predstavuje pojatie priestoru v literárnom diele Borgesa a Bioy Casaresa, konkrétne v poviedkach "Kruhové zrúcaniny" a "Asteriónov dom" a románe Morelov vynález. Vychádza z teoretických štúdií o literárnom priestore. Zameriava sa na rozbor literárnych archetypov, ktoré sa objavujú v spomínaných dielach a stieranie hraníc reálneho a ireálneho. Prezentuje videnie sveta oboch argentínskych autorov.Prvá časť práce sa opiera o teoretické štúdie o literárnom priestore Daniely Hodrovej, obzvlášť o teóriu posvätných a svetských miest, z časti taktiež o teóriu Gastona Bachelarda. Všíma si proces "profanizácie posvätného" v študovaných dielach. U oboch autorov sú totižto miesta, ktoré boli pôvodne zasvätené Bohu, pozbavené ich posvätného rázu a postavy (mág v "Kruhových zrúcaninách" a Morel v Morelovom vynáleze) sa usilujú napodobniť demiurgický akt.
