Key words: thought, experience, perception, expression rationality, language, Merleau-Ponty. Our work has been a study of Merleau-Ponty's thinking based on such questions: Do things make sense beyond their rational justification? Can we otherwise grasp a reality that always escapes us, when rationality is at times simply limited to the sole sphere of intelligibility? What is even this rationality? Doesn't rationality as we imagine it reduce itself to the mere thinking subject? Are there no other forms of rationality outside the criteria of rationality of the thinking subject? Through these questions, we have tried to bring to light what Merleau-Ponty thinking could bring of originality, especially insofar as one way for him to answer them was to consider all meaning in a deeper interiority. This begins with the study of the structures he calls "ante- predictive", which show the extent to which our bodies, in particular, already interpret their environment before we are aware of it. There would already be, at this level, a rational, systematic form, which would be there before any thematization by thought. Consequently, if there is already meaning before consciousness, how can we reconcile the fact that it is not accessible by our methods of reflection and our demand to think it? Notre travail a été une étude de la pensée de Merleau-Ponty à partir de telles interrogations : Les choses ont-elles un sens au-delà de leur justification rationnelle ? Pouvons- nous saisir autrement une réalité qui nous échappe toujours, alors que la rationalité se limite par moment simplement à l'unique sphère de l'intelligibilité ? Qu'est-ce que même cette rationalité ? Est-ce que la rationalité telle que nous l'imaginons ne se réduit-elle pas au simple sujet pensant ? N'y-a-t-il pas d'autres formes de rationalité en dehors des critères de rationalité du sujet pensant ? A travers ces questions, nous avons tenté de mettre en lumière ce que la pensée de Merleau- Ponty pouvait apporter d'original, notamment dans la mesure où un moyen pour lui d'y répondre a été de considérer toute signification dans une intériorité plus profonde. OF THE MASTER THESIS : Keywords: Capitalism, black slave trade, slavery, negro, racism, plantation, work, profit, surplus value, becoming a negro of the world, Achille Mbembe. In the face of the resurgence of debates linked to the Black question and the changes in capitalism over time, it seems essential to analyse the intrinsic link between the development of capitalism and the slave trade. Our paper therefore explores, without exhausting it, the problem of the future of humanity in the face of the mutations of capitalism. It is certainly true that slavery is an old phenomenon, but the slave trade was an unprecedented event in the history of humanity. However, the extraction of the human body for capitalist purposes did not stop with the abolition of slavery. The slavery, exploitation and dehumanisation that are still widely practised are the result of the liberalism that has shaped our present in our way of being in the world. This is why the concept of "becoming a Negro of the world" helps us to understand that the figure of the plantation Negro is actualised in every person. The social grasp of the individual in a global way is better able to account for neo-liberalism, its planetaryisation of markets and the trend towards globalisation of the negro condition. RÉSUMÉ DU MÉMOIRE DE MASTER : Mots clés : Capitalisme, traite des Noirs, esclavage, nègre, racisme, plantation, travail, profit, plus- value, devenir-nègre du monde, Achille Mbembe. Face à la résurgence des débats liés à la question Noire et aux mutations du capitalisme à travers les époques, il semble essentielle de faire une analyse sur le lien intrinsèque entre le développement du capitalisme et la traite des Noirs. Notre mémoire explore donc, sans pour autant l'épuiser, la problématique du devenir de l'humanité face aux mutations du capitalisme. Il est certes vrai que l'esclavage est vieux phénomène mais la traite des Noirs fut un événement sans précédant dans l'histoire de l'humanité. Cependant, l'extraction du corps humain à des fins capitalistes ne s'est pas arrêtée à l'abolition de l'esclavage. L'esclavage, l'exploitation et de la déshumanisation qui sont considérablement pratiqués encore sont le fait du libéralisme qui a façonné notre présent dans notre manière d'être au monde. C'est pourquoi le concept de « devenir nègre du monde » nous aide à comprendre que la figure du nègre de la plantation s'actualise en toute personne personne. This dissertation proposes a transversal reading of Jacques Derrida's work focusing on the notion of undecidability. The objective is primarily to bring out this notion in a mainly epistemological dimension, starting from his first works on the philosophy of history, i.e. as dealing with the problems of the truthfulness of the historical narrative. Then, the idea is to trace a logical continuity with the later, practice-oriented interests of deconstruction, of which the Derridian idea of a messianic justice without messianism becomes the conceptual limit. By extrapolating on the condition of undecidability of a decision that would meet this criterion of justice, we attempt to establish a precise narrative of Derridian work, while orienting it on its contemporary issues. Résumé : Ce mémoire propose une lecture transversale de l'œuvre de Jacques Derrida suivant la notion d'indécidabilité. L'objectif est d'abord de dégager cette notion dans une dimension surtout épistémologique, et ce depuis ses premiers travaux portant sur la philosophie de l'histoire, c'est-à-dire comme traitant des problèmes du dire-vrai du récit historique. L'idée est ensuite de tracer une continuité logique avec les intérêts plus tardifs de la déconstruction, axés sur la pratique, dont l'idée derridienne d'une justice messianique sans messianisme devient la limite conceptuelle. En extrapolant sur la condition d'indécidabilité d'une décision qui rencontrerait ce critère de justice, on tente d'établir un narratif précis de l'œuvre derridienne, tout en l'orientant sur ses enjeux contemporains. This thesis aims to approach the representation of the death in the Britannic folklore throughout the work of three important Britannic folklorists: Marie-François Luzel (1824- 1895), his disciple Anatole Le Braz (1859-1926) and abbé François Cadic (1864-1929). The work describes how the vison oh the death developed historically in the Celtic mythology and in Christianism. To give a more complex idea of Britannic folklore the thesis treats its typical aspects, describes the genesis and the transformation of its emblematic character, Ankou, and briefly presents the world of deceased souls, commonly called Anaon. It aims furthermore to introduce the life and the motivation of the three authors and to portray the socio-cultural context in contemporary Brittany. The second part is firstly based on the analysis of some chosen mythological tales and the courteous novel Lancelot ou le Chevalier de la charrette by Chrétien de Troyes, examining its characters by means of the archetypal triangle proposed by Daniela Hodrová and the initiatory journey of the main characters. Secondly, the work explains what the "veillée" represents in the oral literature, as well as its connection to the "récit légendaire" (developed by Le Braz) which is later compared to the Luzel tale. This part treats also the style of... Tato práce zkoumá zobrazení smrti v bretaňském folkloru napříč díly tří významných bretonských folkloristů: Marie-Françoise Luzela (1824-1895), jeho žáka Anatola Le Braze (1859-1926) a abbého Françoise Cadika (1864-1929). Práce popisuje, jak se představa smrti historicky vyvíjela v rámci keltské mytologie a křesťanství. Abychom získali komplexnější obrázek bretonského folkloru, pojednáváme o jeho charakteristických rysech, popisujeme vznik a proměnu emblematické postavy Ankoua a v krátkosti představujeme svět zesnulých duší, obyčejně zvaný Anaon. Práce následně seznamuje čtenáře s životem a motivací těchto tří autorů, přičemž popisuje sociálně-kulturní kontext tehdejší Bretaně. Perfect Participle in Contemporary French and its Equivalents in Czech The aim of the diploma thesis is a concrete corpus analysis of perfect participle in French and its functioning in absolute and adjectival constructions. The theoretical part defines perfect participle from the point of view of morphology, syntax and semantics and its part is also mapping Czech equivalents. The empirical part is based on analysis of concrete presence of participle constructions in parallel corpus InterCorp v10 with French - Czech alignment and with limitation of fictional and specialized texts. The focus is put mainly on frequency and on different types of use of this participle construction and on semantic interpretation in terms of secondary statement. Another part of the analysis deals with Czech equivalents which replace the past (compound) participle. Key words: participle, corpus analysis, French, Czech, InterCorp Složené participium v současné francouzštině a jeho české ekvivalenty Cílem diplomové práce je podrobná korpusová analýza minulého složeného participia ve francouzštině a jeho fungování v absolutních a adjektivních konstrukcích. Teoretická část vymezuje minulé složené participium z hlediska morfologického, syntaktického a sémantického, její součástí je rovněž mapování českých ekvivalentů. Empirická část je založena na analýze konkrétních výskytů participiálních konstrukcí v paralelním korpusu InterCorp v10 se zarovnáním francouzština - čeština a omezením na beletristické a odborné texty. Pozornost je věnována zejména frekvenci a typům užití této participiální konstrukce a sémantické interpretaci v rámci sekundární predikace. This master thesis written in French language "Le topos de Prague dans la littérature francaise" is analysing literature pieces: Le Passant de Prague and Zone, Guillaume Apollinaire, L'insoutenable légèreté de l'être, Milan Kundera, HHhH, Laurent Binet, La vie brève de Jan Palach, Anthony Sitruk, Mémoires d'outre-tombe, René de Chateaubriand, Les Lettres, Prosper Mérimée and poem Charles Bridge from Cycle de Prague, Serge Patrice Thibodeau. In the main part of the work emphasis is placed on the use of the unique topos of Prague, the purpose of its selection, its role and function in the literary text, as well as intertextual interconnection with other works working with the motifs of Prague. In the introduction, a literary theoretical concept is defined and demonstrated on other examples than this capital city, as there are more definitions and ambiguity in the understanding of this concept could cause difficulties in interpreting the results of text analysis. The result of the work is a limited number, yet three centuries and several genres covering a set of francophone texts that work with the topos of Prague. This is at the end enriched of work with a didactic outline of the use of results, actually the topic of this work in general, in French language lessons in Czech schools. KEYWORDS topos;... Důraz je v hlavní části práce kladen na využití jedinečného toposu Prahy, účel jeho výběru, roli a funkci v literárním textu, stejně jako intertextuální provázanost s jinými díly pracujícími s motivem Prahy. V úplném úvodu práce je tento literárně teoretický pojem definován a demonstrován i na jiných příkladech, než je toto hlavní město, jelikož existuje více definicí a nejednoznačnost chápání tohoto pojmu by mohla způsobit obtíže při interpretaci výsledků analýzy textů. Výsledkem práce je množstvím omezený, přesto tři století a vícero žánrů pokrývající soubor frankofonních textů, které pracují s toposem Prahy, obohacený v závěru práce o didaktický nástin využití výsledků, potažmo tématu práce obecně, v hodinách francouzského jazyka na českých školách. The diploma thesis Naturalism in French and European literature deals with the French literary movement naturalism. The first aim of the thesis is to determine the scope of naturalism and its influence on other European literatures and writers. The second aim is to conduct a research on the way naturalism is taught in Czech schools and to map to what extent the theoretical knowledge is reflected in school practice. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the literary naturalism as such, on its development and characteristics and it introduces French and European naturalist writers and their most important works. The thesis is interested in the influence of French naturalism on European literature. The practical part, or the research, is concerned with the teaching of the topic of the literary naturalism at Czech grammar schools. It examines the impact of this movement in the Czech context, the attitude of individual teachers and the amount of time devoted to this topic in the classes. The practical part also studies which writers are dealt with in the classes and which works are regardedas exemplary. The conclusion of this thesis summarises the results of the research and it offers recommendations on how to enrich and improve the teaching of the... Diplomová práce s názvem Naturalismus ve francouzské a evropské literatuře se věnuje francouzskému literárnímu směru naturalismu. Prvním cílem této práce je určit dosah a vliv francouzského naturalismu na ostatní evropské země a autory. Druhým cílem je udělat výzkum na téma výuky naturalismu v českém školství a zmapovat, do jaké míry se teoretické znalosti odráží ve školní praxi. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části se čtenář seznámí s literárním naturalismem jako takovým, jeho vývojem, charakteristikou, představíme francouzské a evropské naturalistické autory a jejich klíčová díla. Práce se zajímá o vliv francouzského naturalismu na evropskou literaturu. Praktická část neboli výzkum se týká výuky literárního naturalismu na českých gymnáziích, bude zkoumat, jaký dopad má tento směr v českém prostředí, jak k výuce přistupují jednotliví učitelé, kolik času je výuce naturalismu věnováno, kteří autoři jsou v hodinách představeni a která díla považována za příkladná. This thesis presents the link between the environment and Foreign Language Teaching (FLT) based on ecolinguistics, which defines the inextricability of the environment and language. The specific aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the importance of an ecolinguistic approach to FLT with an ecocritical discourse analysis of textbooks use to teach French as a foreign language. Using the ecolinguistic tool The Stories We Live by, the analysis aims to assess the extent to which the textbooks stimulate environmental awareness and ecological communicative competence. The research concerns two textbooks, Totem and Saison, and investigates the representation of the stories and their polarity from the perspective of deep ecology. The results show the textbooks to exhibit a general tendency towards ambivalent content. Moreover, the presence of explicit ecological reference in the content was evaluated and revealed, by the analysis, to be under-represented in the textbooks' content. The analyses are presented as model analyses for an ecolinguistic evaluation of textbooks, which could be used by teachers seeking an ecologically conscious textbook. The thesis also seeks to encourage further research into the ecological aspect of FLT, notably in textbooks. KEYWORDS ecolinguistics, stories we live by,... Tato práce představuje propojení výuky cizího jazyka s životním prostředím pomocí teorie ekolingvistiky, která vysvětluje neoddělitelnost jazyka od životního prostředí. Cílem této práce je ilustrovat význam ekolingvistického přístupu pro výuku cizích jazyků prostřednictvím ekokritické analýzy diskurzu provedené na učebnicích francouzštiny jako cizího jazyka. K této analýze byl využit ekolingvistický nástroj příběhy, kterými žijeme. Analýza zkoumala, do jaké míry učebnice podporují environmentální povědomí a ekologickou komunikativní kompetenci. Analýza se týkala dvou učebnic, Totem a Saison, ve kterých zkoumala typ reprezentace příběhů a polaritu příběhů z pohledu principů hlubinné ekologie. Výsledky ukazují tendenci učebnic směrem k ambivalentnímu obsahu. Přítomnost ekologické reference v obsahu učebnic, která byla také analyzována, se ukázala být celkově nedostatečná. Provedené analýzy byly prezentovány jako model pro potenciální evaluaci učebnic jednotlivými učiteli. Práce se snaží rovněž podpořit další výzkum ekologického aspektu ve výuce cizích jazyků a zejména v učebnicích.
