Tato diplomová práce se zabývá reakcemi na vypuknutí První světové války v německy psaných periodikách z Čech a Moravy. Podrobně zkoumá reakce v pražském deníku ,Prager Tagblatt', brněnském ,Brünner Tagesbote' a olomouckém periodiku ,Mährisches Tagblatt'. Práce se zaměřuje na časový interval od atentátu na následníka trůnu Františka Ferdinanda d'Este a následné tři měsíce po této události. K analýze byly vybrány články, které se zabývají společenským vnímáním vypuknutí války a jejím vlivem na tehdejší společnost. Stěžejním aspektem této práce se stala otázka patriotismu v Čechách a na Moravě v rámci odlišných národností v Rakousku-Uhersku. Z analýzy těchto článku byl sestaven obraz, který neodráží pouze tehdejší společenskou situaci, ale i postoj tisku k tomuto válečnému konfliktu a nazírání na českou národnost a její vlastenecký postoj k Habsburské monarchii. Závěrečné srovnání zároveň ukazuje společné nebo naopak rozdílné rysy ve vnímání války a Čechů z pohledu těchto analyzovaných německy psaných periodik. This diploma thesis is concerned with the reactions of the German-language journals from Bohemia and Moravia to the outbreak of the World War I.. It inspects in a great detail reactions in Prague journal ,Prager Tagblatt' and in periodicals from Brno and Olomouc, called ,Brünner Tagesbote' and ,Mährisches Tagblatt'. The work focuses on the time period since the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir presumptive to the Austro-Hungarian throne, and the subsequent three months after this event. For the analysis have been selected the articles, which deal with the social perception of the war and its influence on the society at that time. The key aspect of this thesis became the question of patriotism in Bohemia and Moravia among the different nationalities of Austria-Hungary. An image created from the analysis of these articles shows not only the social situation, but also the position of the press to the outbreak of this conflict. It also pays attention to the Czech nationality and its patriotic attitudes to the monarchy. The final comparison shows common or contradictory characteristics in the perception of the war and Czechs from the perspective of these analysed German-language periodicals.

Diplomová práce se zabývá ověřením generické funkce maskulina a analýzou volných slovních asociací. V teoretické části představujeme genderovou lingvistiku, její vývoj a témata, nabízíme možnosti rodově vyváženého jazyka v němčině a češtině. Dále se zabýváme asociacemi a asociačním experimentem. Poslední teoretickou část tvoří lexikálně-sémantické vztahy mezi slovy. V praktické části popisujeme vlastní asociační experiment složený ze dvou částí. První se týká ověření platnosti genericky užitého maskulina a druhá část analyzuje volné slovní asociace. The thesis deals with the verification of generic function of masculine via free word association analysis. The theoretical part presents gender linguistics, its development,topics, discussing the possibility of a generic balanced language in German and in Czech. We are also engaged in association and association experiment. The last theoretical part consists of lexical - semantic relationships among words. The practical part describes the association experiment consisting of two parts, the first concerns the validation of generic applied masculine and the second part analyzes the free word associations.

Diplomová práce pojednává o možnostech využití literárních textů v hodinách cizího jazyka, konkrétně v hodinách německého jazyka. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na metodologii výuky literatury v hodině cizího jazyka, didaktiku literatury a výhodách využití literárních textů v hodinách německého jazyka. V praktické části je rozebrán deseti-denní projekt založený na literárním díle rakouské spisovatelky Christiny Nostlinger, Die Ilse ist weg. Jednotlivé kroky projektu jsou formulovány v didakticko-metodických plánech. V příloze se dále nacházejí pracovní listy, které jsou dále využitelné. The topic of diploma thesis is using literature in fereign language classes, specifically in classes of German language. Theoretical part of the thesis is focused on methodology of teaching literature in foreign language classes, didactics of literature and the advantages of literature in German language classes. The practical part deals with the project based on a novel by Christine Nostlinger, Die Ilse ist weg. Each step of the project is described in didactics-methodological plans. In the apendix there are working sheets that can be further used in German language classes.

Tato práce se zabývá analýzou novely "Mein ist die Rache" od rakousko-židovského autora Friedricha Torberga. Novela pojednává o příběhu židovského vězně z fiktivního koncentračního tábora Heidenburg, který vypráví svůj příběh s odstupem času v bezpečí amerického exilu. Dílo končí pointou ukrytou v poslední větě díla a odhalující skutečnost, že dvě hlavní postavy příběhu jsou ve skutečnosti jedna a táž osoba, která po době strávené v koncentračním táboře zřejmě trpí schizofrenií. Tato pointa vzbudila svého času rozporuplné dojmy kritiky byla chválena i odsuzována. Práce se věnuje bližší analýze díla a jeho interpretaci se zaměřením na objasnění závěrečné pointy. The thesis deals with the analysis of the story "Mein ist die Rache" written by the Austrian Jewish author Friedrich Torberg. The novelette tells a story of a Jewish prisoner of a fictional concentration camp. He tells his story retrospectively, in the safety of the American exile. The story ends with a point, which is hidden in the closing line of the story and which reveals that the two protagonists of the story are in fact one and the same person, who, having spent some time in a concentration camp, probably suffers from schizophrenia. As the book was published, the point provoked many contradictory reactions it was praised as well as criticised. The analysis and interpretation of the story focuses on the clarification of the point.

Diplomová práce se zabývá výzkumem latinismů a grecismů v současném německém jazyce. Teoretická část popisuje slovní zásobu z hlediska slov cizích a přejatých a přibližuje vliv latiny a řečtiny na němčinu od jejího vzniku do současnosti. Praktická část zkoumá četnost, poměrné zastoupení a funkci latinismů a grecismů v současných seriózních a bulvárních periodikách Německa, Rakouska a Švýcarska. Tento výzkum je zúžen na oblast kultury, politiky a sportu. This diploma thesis is concerned with the research of latinisms and graecisms in the actual German language. The theoretical part of the thesis describes vocabulary from the point of view of foreign words and loanwords and gives insight into the influence of Latin and Greek on German language from its beginning up to the present. The practical part analyzes frequency, proportional representation and function of latinisms and graecisms in the contemporary quality press and tabloids of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This research is narrowed at the domain of politics, culture and sport.

Tato diplomová práce je pojmenovaná "Výzkum a porovnání možností překladu lingvistických a specifických kulturně zakotvených jevů v německé populární literatuře" a jejím hlavním cílem je popsat a vysvětlit základní pojmy v rámci překladatelské disciplíny a zároveň poukázat na překladatelské nepřesnosti v rámci překladu německé knihy. Práce se zabývá nejen teoretickým popisem a vysvětlením pojmů v rámci překladu, ale také na příkladu ukazuje a komentuje překladatelské nepřesnosti, které vznikly na úrovni morfologicko-syntaktické, lexikální a kulturní. The name of this diploma thesis is "Research and comparison of translation´s ways of linguistic and specific cultural embedded phenomenons in German popular literature". Its main aim is to describe and explain the basic terms in translation discipline and also point out some translation inaccuracy in a translation of German book. The work deals not only with a theoretical description and explanation of the basic terms of translation discipline. It also points out and comments some translation inaccuracy, which has been created at the morphologic-syntactical, lexical and cultural levels.

Diplomová práce se zabývá frazeologismy vyskytujících se ve filmových recenzích magazínu "Der Spiegel". Práce je rozdělena na dvě části na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část charakterizuje frazeologii jako dílčí disciplínu lingvistiky, seznamuje nás se základními pojmy, věnuje se znakům frazeologismů, klasifikaci frazeologismů a jejich použitím v textu. Dále se zabývá výskytem a funkcemi frazeologismů v textu. Praktická část se zaměřuje na analýzu vybraných frazeologismů z filmových recenzích magazínu "Der Spiegel". This diploma thesis deals with idioms occurring in the film reviews of the magazine "Der Spiegel". The thesis it divided into two parts - a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part characterizes phraseology as a sub discipline of linguistics, introduces basic terms, dedicates itself to characters of idioms, classification of idioms and their use in texts. Further it concentrates on occurrence and functions of idioms in texts. The practical part concentrates on the analysis of chosen idioms of the film reviews from the magazine "Der Spiegel".
