Flow-induced vibrations and noise continue to cause problems in a wide range of engineering applications, ranging from mechanical and aerospace engineering, civil engineering and ship and offshore structures to power generation and chemical processing. These proceedings bring together 139 papers dealing with a variety of topics relating to flow-induced vibration and noise, such as:vortex-induced vibration, vibration of heat-exchanger tube bundles,progress in fluid-structure interaction theory and CFD simulations, flow-sound interaction, biomechanics of voice and hearing, thermo-acoustic instabilities, vibration of hydraulic structures, gates, turbomachines nad piping systems. The contents of this publication constitute a „mixture“ of investigations by those working on the mechanisms of vibration and means of their alleviation, and studies by those in industry who draw on the present state of knowledge of these mechanisms to avoid or solve flow induced vibratin and noise problems in industrial and other applications. Vibrace způsobené proudem tekutiny a hluk stále způsobují problémy v řadě inženýrských aplikacích, počínaje mechanikou a leteckým inženýrstvím, stavebním inženýrstvím, konstrukcemi lodí a mořských, pobřežních konstrukcí až k produci energie a chemickým procesům. Tento sborník publikuje 139 plných příspěvků z různých oblastí vibrací způsobených proudem tekutiny a hlukem jako jsou: vibrace způsobené odtrháváním vírů, vibrace trubek ve výměnících tepla, pokroky v teorii výpočtů vzájemných vazeb konstrukcí a tekutin a CFD simulací, interakce proudu tekutiny a zvuku, biomechanika hlasu a sluchu, termoakustické nestability, vibrace hydraulických konstrukcí vrat, turbostrojů a potrubních systémů. Obsah článků představuje směs vědeckých výsledků z oblasti mechanismu vibrací, možností její potlačení a studie problémů z praxe tak, aby se vyhnulo problémům indukovaných vibrací a hluku v průmyslových a jiných aplikacích.

The conference will focus on obtaining an overview of projects under investigation, and experimental methods used in the field of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Its aim is to organize a network of young research workers who are interested in experimental, and also theoretical, work in the field of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. The conference should contribute to creating the closer contacts and sharing experience in application of various experimental methods, preparation and implementation of experiments, processing of results and numerical simulations of experiments. Conference proceedings are listed in ISI-Web of Knowledge Konference je zaměřena na výzkum v oblasti mechaniky tekutin, termodynamiky, biomechaniky a techniky prostřední. Cílem konference je zajistit setkání mladých vědeckých pracovníků, doktorandů a studentů posledních ročníků vysokých škol, kteří se věnují experimentální, ale i teoretické práci v oblasti mechaniky tekutin. Konference by měla prispět k navázání bližších kontaktů a k předávání zkušeností z oblasti využití různých experimentálních metod, přípravy a realizace experimentů, zpracování výsledků a numerické simulace experimentů. Námětem konference byly nové trendy v oblasti výpočetní a experimentální dynamiky tekutin se zaměřením na vyšetřování laminárních, přechodových a turbulentních smykových proudění ve vnější a vnitřní aero-hydrodynamice, aerodynamice prostředí, biomechanice a v dalších aplikacích.

Proceedings of the seminar INTERACTION AND FEEDBACKS ´2006 deal with problems of the interaction of dynamic system with surrounding liquid or fluent environment and solving dynamic system with feedbacks. In singles papers they are devoted tasks vibration and stability of dynamic systems in interaction with surroundings, acoustic wave propagation induced by vibrating bodies in fluid, dynamics mechanical systems with feedbacks (active mechatronic elements), problems interaction in biomechanics and research hydroelasticity of rotating machines (bearing, blades, labyrinths, gripe). Sborník semináře INTERAKCE A ZPĚTNÉ VAZBY ´2006 je věnován problematice interakce dynamických systémů s okolním kapalným nebo plynným prostředím a řešení dynamických soustav se zpětnými vazbami. Jednotlivé příspěvky jsou věnované úlohám kmitání a stabilita dynamických systémů s vazbami na okolní prostředí, šíření zvukových vln způsobených vibracemi tělesa v tekutině, dynamice mechanických systémů se zpětnými vazbami (mechatronické aktivní prvky), problémům interakce v biomechanice a výzkumu hydroelasticity rotačních strojů (ložiska, lopatky, labyrinty, spáry).

HW-CTA measuring method was applied at the investigation of wet steam flow downstream the LP stage of a 210 MW turbine. Time averaged characteristics of flow field and temperature field were determined as well as the phase averaged ones. Měřící metoda anemometru se žhaveným drátkem v režimu CTA byla použita pro výzkum proudění mokré páry za NT stupněm parní turbíny 210 MW. Byly vyhodnoceny časově středované a fázově středované charakteristiky polí proudění a teploty.
